00:03:13 00:03:17 seller to rank their product will list
00:03:15 00:03:19 their products on other cashback
00:03:17 00:03:22 websites and basically
00:03:19 00:03:24 give it away for free via cashback like
00:03:22 00:03:25 i'm about to show you
00:03:24 00:03:27 just so that they can get sales on
00:03:25 00:03:29 amazon so amazon
00:03:27 00:03:31 recognizes that their product is getting
00:03:29 00:03:32 sales and it will help them rank right
00:03:31 00:03:33 so
00:03:32 00:03:35 a seller gets a full price sale which
00:03:33 00:03:37 obviously helps them rank their amazon
00:03:35 00:03:39 product more than a discounted sale in
00:03:37 00:03:40 this specific cashback example
00:03:39 00:03:42 they also obviously hope to get a review
00:03:40 00:03:44 from you but that's not required on most
00:03:42 00:03:47 sites it is required on some of them
00:03:44 00:03:49 but very very few okay so hypothetikally
00:03:47 00:03:50 let's say a seller's product on amazon
00:03:49 00:03:52 sells for twenty dollars what they're
00:03:50 00:03:54 gonna do is they're gonna list it on the
00:03:52 00:03:56 cash back site for twenty dollars
00:03:54 00:03:58 you can then go to that cashback site
00:03:56 00:04:00 buy it for twenty dollars uh through
00:03:58 00:04:01 clicking their link on the cashback site
00:04:00 00:04:02 and obviously reporting back their order
00:04:01 00:04:04 number okay
00:04:02 00:04:05 so you're gonna spend 20 dollars via
00:04:04 00:04:07 their product that's listed on the
00:04:05 00:04:08 cashback site really it's listed on
00:04:07 00:04:11 amazon but you're just going to the
00:04:08 00:04:12 cashback site to see which cashback
00:04:11 00:04:15 products are available so you're going
00:04:12 00:04:16 to buy that 20 product on amazon
00:04:15 00:04:18 right at full price it's going to go to
00:04:16 00:04:20 your house or your apartment or wherever
00:04:18 00:04:21 you obviously elect to get it
00:04:20 00:04:24 and then obviously you're going to get
00:04:21 00:04:25 that money back via paypal from the
00:04:24 00:04:27 actual cashback seller okay
00:04:25 00:04:29 so in short you're buying a product in
00:04:27 00:04:30 this example for twenty dollars
00:04:29 00:04:32 it's gonna come to you you're spending
00:04:30 00:04:33 the twenty dollars up front then the
00:04:32 00:04:35 seller is going to send you twenty
00:04:33 00:04:37 dollars back via paypal
00:04:35 00:04:38 and you're now you now have a free
00:04:37 00:04:41 product
00:04:38 00:04:43 to resell to keep whatever you wanna do
00:04:41 00:04:46 that's cash back arbitrage okay
00:04:43 00:04:47 and this is beneficial for a number of
00:04:46 00:04:49 different people right it's beneficial
00:04:47 00:04:51 for amazon because they get to sell the
00:04:49 00:04:52 product and they get the fees right
00:04:51 00:04:54 and then they obviously it's about
00:04:52 00:04:56 beneficial for the seller on amazon
00:04:54 00:04:57 because they get to rank their product
00:04:56 00:04:59 and they get a full priced sale
00:04:57 00:05:00 it's obviously beneficial for you
00:04:59 00:05:02 because you get a free product to either
00:05:00 00:05:04 keep or resell now i
00:05:02 00:05:05 obviously teach cashback arbitrage which

00:05:05 00:05:09 the the method of getting these products
00:05:07 00:05:10 to sell you do not want to sell these on
00:05:09 00:05:11 amazon okay so don't resell them on
00:05:10 00:05:13 amazon
00:05:11 00:05:15 but you can also sell them on other
00:05:13 00:05:18 marketplaces at a hundred percent profit
00:05:15 00:05:20 like ebay or poshmark or mercari or
00:05:18 00:05:22 facebook marketplace or offer up or
00:05:20 00:05:23 any other marketplace that makes sense
00:05:22 00:05:26 for you okay
00:05:23 00:05:27 so in short that's what cashback
00:05:26 00:05:29 arbitrage is for those of you that don't

00:06:00 00:06:03 what issues might you face when doing
00:06:01 00:06:05 this well you might face review
00:06:03 00:06:06 restrictions this is the one that's most
00:06:05 00:06:08 typical
00:06:06 00:06:09 uh for new people right they get a
00:06:08 00:06:11 review restriction on their account and
00:06:09 00:06:12 they're all up you know kind of uh
00:06:11 00:06:15 worried about it like what does this
00:06:12 00:06:18 mean can i never review a product again
00:06:15 00:06:19 is my amazon buyer account at risk for
00:06:18 00:06:21 you know being deactivated
00:06:19 00:06:23 and know your amazon buyer account is
00:06:21 00:06:25 not at risk for being deactivated
00:06:23 00:06:26 yes you will be able to review in the
00:06:25 00:06:28 future it's just a temporary
00:06:26 00:06:30 review restriction that amazon is
00:06:28 00:06:31 putting on your account and obviously
00:06:30 00:06:32 that is enforced by amazon because some
00:06:31 00:06:33 people
00:06:32 00:06:35 you know if especially if they're
00:06:33 00:06:37 beginners they don't fully understand
00:06:35 00:06:37 like who's restricting their ability to
00:06:37 00:06:40 review
00:06:37 00:06:41 is it amazon is it the seller is it the
00:06:40 00:06:43 cashback site it's
00:06:41 00:06:44 amazon doing this to you okay so
00:06:43 00:06:46 basically
00:06:44 00:06:48 when you scale this up it used to be
00:06:46 00:06:50 very very scalable you can go and buy
00:06:48 00:06:51 hundreds of products and get cash back
00:06:50 00:06:52 on all of them
00:06:51 00:06:54 and then you'd have like hundreds of
00:06:52 00:06:55 free products to your door
00:06:54 00:06:58 that you can then resell online for a
00:06:55 00:07:00 profit and you can still scale it very
00:06:58 00:07:02 very slightly but i wouldn't necessarily
00:07:00 00:07:03 recommend it but basically what happens
00:07:02 00:07:04 is if you buy a bunch of products at
00:07:03 00:07:07 once and you go and review them
00:07:04 00:07:08 too fast if amazon detects that you're
00:07:07 00:07:09 reviewing a lot of products super
00:07:08 00:07:10 quickly
00:07:09 00:07:12 and this isn't normal for your buyer
00:07:10 00:07:14 account meaning maybe you buy
00:07:12 00:07:15 a couple products from amazon a week but
00:07:14 00:07:17 then all of a sudden you're buying like
00:07:15 00:07:17 dozens of products and reviewing them
00:07:17 00:07:19 all
00:07:17 00:07:20 well that's gonna throw off red flags
00:07:19 00:07:22 okay so they'll shut your ability to
00:07:20 00:07:24 review for a period of time down
00:07:22 00:07:26 and basically what they're doing is
00:07:24 00:07:28 they're not necessarily penalizing what
00:07:26 00:07:30 i mean they're penalizing you right
00:07:28 00:07:31 but they're not like taking like crazy
00:07:30 00:07:33 um
00:07:31 00:07:34 you know repercussions on your account
00:07:33 00:07:36 all they're basically doing is putting a
00:07:34 00:07:37 review restrictions so you can't review
00:07:36 00:07:39 any products
00:07:37 00:07:40 so that they can protect the integrity
00:07:39 00:07:42 of their platform
00:07:40 00:07:44 and the integrity of their reviews okay
00:07:42 00:07:46 they want to be able to have buyers buy
00:07:44 00:07:48 from amazon with trust and be able to
00:07:46 00:07:50 trust that the reviews
00:07:48 00:07:52 on a listing accurately reflect the
00:07:50 00:07:54 quality of that product
00:07:52 00:07:56 now two other prevalent issues that you
00:07:54 00:07:57 might face although they don't happen
00:07:56 00:07:59 more so it's it's really just the review
00:07:57 00:08:01 restrictions is that maybe a seller
00:07:59 00:08:03 won't refund you so this
00:08:01 00:08:04 rarely happens in my experience i think
00:08:03 00:08:06 i've dealt with this and i've bought
00:08:04 00:08:08 hundreds if not thousands of cashback
00:08:06 00:08:10 products is
00:08:08 00:08:12 maybe i don't know five to ten times
00:08:10 00:08:13 over that long span of things so you
00:08:12 00:08:15 might face this once or twice
00:08:13 00:08:17 if you're doing this but chances are
00:08:15 00:08:18 probably not okay especially if you're
00:08:17 00:08:20 using the sites
00:08:18 00:08:21 that i recommend in the cheat sheet or
00:08:20 00:08:23 that i recommend in any of my courses
00:08:21 00:08:24 it's rarely gonna happen you're really
00:08:23 00:08:25 gonna deal with it
00:08:24 00:08:27 but if it does happen then all you have
00:08:25 00:08:28 to do is simply return the product for a
00:08:27 00:08:30 full refund
00:08:28 00:08:32 as inaccurate website description and
00:08:30 00:08:34 you will get your money back okay
00:08:32 00:08:36 you can always return an amazon product
00:08:34 00:08:37 online
00:08:36 00:08:40 if you categorize it as inaccurate
00:08:37 00:08:42 website description within 30 days okay
00:08:40 00:08:44 which is another reason why i recommend
00:08:42 00:08:46 tracking everything so a you make sure
00:08:44 00:08:47 that you get all your refunds on
00:08:46 00:08:49 products right so you
00:08:47 00:08:50 put in what you're spending you put in
00:08:49 00:08:52 what your refund is whether you got the
00:08:50 00:08:54 refund whether it came to you
00:08:52 00:08:56 all of that stuff i cover this so much
00:08:54 00:08:57 like in depth in other tutorials so i'm
00:08:56 00:08:59 not going to get into it
00:08:57 00:09:01 too much here but track everything and
00:08:59 00:09:03 also that will let you know that like
00:09:01 00:09:04 when you ordered it and when 30 days is
00:09:03 00:09:07 up so you can return it if
00:09:04 00:09:08 god forbid it's like 25 or like 28 days
00:09:07 00:09:09 since you've ordered and you still
00:09:08 00:09:11 haven't you know
00:09:09 00:09:13 gotten the refund from the seller then
00:09:11 00:09:15 simply return it and you're not
00:09:13 00:09:16 out any money right so that's basically
00:09:15 00:09:18 how i recommend that
00:09:16 00:09:20 but sellers occasionally won't refund
00:09:18 00:09:22 you it's very very rare
00:09:20 00:09:24 now also sellers that drag your feet
00:09:22 00:09:25 with refunding you so this happens on
00:09:24 00:09:27 some of the websites when you're dealing
00:09:25 00:09:29 with foreign sellers from time to time
00:09:27 00:09:31 so typically people panic in the
00:09:29 00:09:32 beginning because i say like typically
00:09:31 00:09:34 for example let's use extreme rebate
00:09:32 00:09:37 which is a cash back website right
00:09:34 00:09:39 i recommend or i i usually say like okay
00:09:37 00:09:40 sellers will generally and typically
00:09:39 00:09:42 refund you there
00:09:40 00:09:43 within a couple days to a week but every
00:09:42 00:09:45 once in a while you will get the
00:09:43 00:09:48 occasional seller that drags their feet
00:09:45 00:09:49 and refunds you in like two weeks okay
00:09:48 00:09:51 so first and foremost if this is on
00:09:49 00:09:53 facebook and not on a website then
00:09:51 00:09:55 again you can subtly imply by messaging
00:09:53 00:09:56 that seller that you'll either return
00:09:55 00:09:59 the product
00:09:56 00:10:00 review them bad give them bad feedback
00:09:59 00:10:02 reported as like you know
00:10:00 00:10:04 damaged or defective or anything like
00:10:02 00:10:05 that now you're not actually i want to
00:10:04 00:10:06 hit this home
00:10:05 00:10:08 you're not actually going to do that
00:10:06 00:10:11 okay don't do that it's bad karma
00:10:08 00:10:12 but you have all the the power as the
00:10:11 00:10:14 buyer on
00:10:12 00:10:15 amazon okay so you can you're not
00:10:14 00:10:18 threatening them
00:10:15 00:10:20 obviously but you are subtly i guess but
00:10:18 00:10:20 you're subtly implying that like hey you
00:10:20 00:10:22 you're
00:10:20 00:10:23 you're the buyer you know that you have
00:10:22 00:10:25 all the power and you ha you can do any
00:10:23 00:10:27 one of these things to them
00:10:25 00:10:28 you don't want to but if they force you
00:10:27 00:10:29 to by not giving you the cash back that
00:10:28 00:10:31 they agreed to
00:10:29 00:10:33 then you will now again i want to hit
00:10:31 00:10:34 home that you're not actually going to
00:10:33 00:10:36 do that
00:10:34 00:10:37 but simply sometimes by simply subtly
00:10:36 00:10:39 implying that
00:10:37 00:10:40 it will really prompt them to obviously
00:10:39 00:10:42 take action and refund you okay
00:10:40 00:10:44 and i want to hit home that these two
00:10:42 00:10:46 aren't very typical even on facebook
00:10:44 00:10:48 where like a lot of people kind of get
00:10:46 00:10:49 you know i guess face this more often
00:10:48 00:10:51 than some of the websites
00:10:49 00:10:53 you still have all the buyer okay now
00:10:51 00:10:55 this or all the power not the buyer you
00:10:53 00:10:57 have all the power as the buyer okay
00:10:55 00:10:59 so this usually obviously works but if
00:10:57 00:11:00 not again you can always just cancel the
00:10:59 00:11:02 product within 30 days which is why i
00:11:00 00:11:04 recommend tracking everything
00:11:02 00:11:06 for a full refund refund as inaccurate
00:11:04 00:11:07 website description okay
00:11:06 00:11:09 and if this is on a website specifically
00:11:07 00:11:10 then just simply reach out to the
00:11:09 00:11:11 website and let them know you can reach
00:11:10 00:11:14 out to the support say
00:11:11 00:11:15 xlr via this order number on amazon has
00:11:14 00:11:17 not refunded me
00:11:15 00:11:20 this is the seller's name this is the
00:11:17 00:11:21 order id number this is you know etc etc
00:11:20 00:11:23 this is what i should be refunded and
00:11:21 00:11:25 typically they're usually very good at
00:11:23 00:11:27 prompting the sellers to refund you i
00:11:25 00:11:27 haven't i think i've dealt with like one
00:11:27 00:11:28 or
00:11:27 00:11:31 off the top of my head i really don't
00:11:28 00:11:33 remember maybe once or twice where like
00:11:31 00:11:34 there's been a discrepancy where like
00:11:33 00:11:36 the site says oh the seller said that
00:11:34 00:11:38 they refunded you and then like i'm
00:11:36 00:11:39 showing that they didn't refund me in
00:11:38 00:11:41 any of my spreadsheets
00:11:39 00:11:42 i think i've dealt with that once or
00:11:41 00:11:44 twice over the span of like hundreds or
00:11:42 00:11:46 thousands of products but like
00:11:44 00:11:48 if that happens again just return the
00:11:46 00:11:50 product for a full refund right you have
00:11:48 00:11:51 all the power okay
00:11:50 00:11:53 now if you still have trouble after that
00:11:51 00:11:55 again just just return the product okay
00:11:53 00:11:57 so those are the typical issues that you
00:11:55 00:11:59 might face full disclosure you might
00:11:57 00:12:01 face some issues okay it does not come
00:11:59 00:12:03 just like any form of reselling or any
00:12:01 00:12:05 online business without any potential
00:12:03 00:12:06 potential hiccups or any potential
00:12:05 00:12:07 issues those are the issues that you
00:12:06 00:12:09 might face okay
00:12:07 00:12:11 now some pros of this obviously some
00:12:09 00:12:12 drawbacks of this method
00:12:11 00:12:15 if you're sourcing products is that it's
00:12:12 00:12:16 typically hard to scale it okay
00:12:15 00:12:18 and some of the benefits of it is that
00:12:16 00:12:19 it's free money okay so to outline
00:12:18 00:12:20 obviously
00:12:19 00:12:22 you don't need much money to start any
00:12:20 00:12:24 of this because you can simply buy them
00:12:22 00:12:27 for a few cents or a few dollars right
00:12:24 00:12:28 and then obviously get it get like the
00:12:27 00:12:29 the cash back back to you and then
00:12:28 00:12:31 you're into a free product to
00:12:29 00:12:33 either resell or keep or whatever okay
00:12:31 00:12:35 it's low risk it's great for beginners
00:12:33 00:12:36 you can get extra free money easily by
00:12:35 00:12:38 charging all your purchases to a cash
00:12:36 00:12:38 back credit card and obviously you can
00:12:38 00:12:40 help
00:12:38 00:12:42 it helps you slowly build up an initial
00:12:40 00:12:44 nest egg of money to then
00:12:42 00:12:46 put into a more scalable business again
00:12:44 00:12:48 the cons it's not very scalable
00:12:46 00:12:50 you're probably looking at like a max of
00:12:48 00:12:51 a few hundred dollars to
00:12:50 00:12:53 maybe a few thousand dollars a month
00:12:51 00:12:54 profit if there were no review
00:12:53 00:12:55 restrictions
00:12:54 00:12:57 you could scale this up if you had
00:12:55 00:12:59 capital or or credit card
00:12:57 00:13:00 and get as many products as you wanted
00:12:59 00:13:01 and then get the cash back if you're
00:13:00 00:13:03 tracking it all
00:13:01 00:13:05 and get like hundreds of products like i
