👀 What You NEED To Know Before Dropshipping
you know what, despite the several successful dropshipping case studies on this channel, i still occasionally get people leaving comments like drop shipping is dead, if it was ever properly alive to begin with. increasing e packet rate- it literally kills drop shipping. it's too late for this business. most businesses fail. i will never waste my time and money trying to start a business ever again, and if you're smart, you'll do the same thing. hmm, yeah, well, okay, obviously, i strongly disagree with those comments, because here's the thing: a lot of people will say things like drop shipping is dead or it's too late, or businesses don't work, and the reason why they're saying these things is because they are making several assumptions that are all wrong, and so, if you are looking to start a store, it's crucial, then, that you understand what these assumptions are before you start drop shipping so that, unlike these people, your store can be successful, because, no, it is not too late. one people won't buy from you. they'll just buy from amazon instead. but wait, sarah, you ask: why would anyone buy products from me if they can buy products directly from amazon themselves? now, it is absolutely true that if you head on over to amazon, that you will find lots of products that can be purchased directly from aliexpress, sitting on amazon's digital shelf as well. and, of course, if customers were to purchase your products on amazon, they would then get to take advantage of their prime two-day shipping. so how on earth could drop shippers successfully dropship these guitar coffee spoons with two to three week shipping via china's cheapest, fastest shipping option- a packet, when a customer could come and buy them on amazon with two-day shipping? i mean, come on, sarah, just think about it. amazon is only growing. in q3 2019, their product sales were up over 17 from the same time in 2018.. won't amazon steal away all of our sales? no, no, they will not. you see, here's the thing. there is some truth to these comments. amazon is arguably the better deal for usa citizens. it is better for the consumer to purchase the products on amazon. so if they figure out that the product that you are selling them is indeed on amazon for purchase, you can bet that amazon will take that sale away from you. but you know what? we literally don't care. and you know what? drop shippers never have the sorts of people who see a product and decide that they're going to research the absolute best deal, for it were never our customers in the first place. nope, it's the 44 of people that impulsively purchase products online that we are targeting and, of course, as shown by how millennials are even more prone to impulsive purchases, with 80 of them impulsively buying products, the overall percentage of impulse e-commerce purchases for us to target as drop shippers is only growing and growing. you see, successful drop shipping stores are built around that target customer, the type of customer that enjoys impulsively purchasing products. it also means that the successful drop shipping stores are usually built around selling products that spike an emotion in a customer that makes them think: i need to buy this right now. it's why this aliexpress dog caller has made hundreds of thousands of dollars. the advertising dropshippers used spike fear and dog owners pointing out how many dogs dying in car accidents each year from not being seen. that is why, when recently, i saw this comment from this viewer asking why their online store wasn't successful, i pretty much instantly knew that the store would be selling extremely boring products. and lo and behold, i was right. now, of course, this is actually a print on demand store, not a drop shipping store, but the exact same principle applies. why would somebody want to buy this hoodie when they can go to amazon and find cheaper hoodies and shirts with inspirational messages on there, because here is the reality. typing vision in a plain white circle is not exciting. so let's compare this hoodie to this hoodie. what is the difference between the two? well, the difference is that one hoodie is very boring and the other is extremely interesting, unique and unlike anything people are likely to have seen before, which is why this hoodie's facebook advertising campaign made so much money for the successful aliexpress dropshipping store. freaky pet. and, of course, if you're ever wondering, this exact same answer applies to the people that ask the question: why would customers not go directly to aliexpress themselves? well, again, it's because good aliexpress drop shippers sell products that trigger emotions on people and get them to impulsively buy their products, so that they never even think to go check if a product is on aliexpress, because they see and go. that's so amazing. i must buy one now. and, by the way, if you've learned something from this video and you would like to learn even more about starting a successful drop shipping store, then be sure to subscribe and click that little notification bell next to it so that you don't miss out on any of our videos. two, dropshipping is a scam. i just want to quickly address this because these comments are really dumb. you know, you might have notiked that earlier in this video i freely admitted that it would be a fast, superior financial choice for a customer to buy this hoodie on amazon with two day shipping for a fraction of the price compared to what they would pay for it on freaky pet. and so what do people say to that? oh, the customer can get it cheaper, elsewhere, quicker. that makes your store a scam. nope, it does not. number one: if it weren't for your facebook ad, the customer would never have known about that product that they really enjoyed getting in the first place. people really love this hoodie and we're really grateful that it was advertised to them and they bought it. you had to pay for that advertising to do that, which you pass on to the customer. amazon doesn't advertise products. customers have to find them themselves. and number two, as an entrepreneur, you are in no way obligated to offer your product for the lowest price. here are two coffee shops around the corner from my apartment. they are across the road from each other. i walked into coffee shop a and bought my favorite coffee, a long black, for three dollars- and yes, i know that overseas the phrase long black might conjure up some different thoughts, but here in new zealand, and over in australia too, a long black simply refers to pouring an espresso shot over 100 to 120 mls of boiling water to create a stronger version of an americano with creamer. next i went into coffee shop b and again order long black, but this time it cost four dollars- completely different prices for an extremely similar product. and you know what? coffee shop a's three dollar coffee was the best. would you say that coffee shop b is a scam for charging a higher price for a worse version of this coffee? no, you would not. pricing is entirely subjective and is actually determined by the customer, not you. you present the customer with the price and it is up to them to decide if that price is worth it or not. and at the end of the day, if freaky pet are able to create a marketing campaign that gets people to purchase their hoodie for a higher price while being entirely upfront about the shipping times, then they 100 deserve that sale. 3. drop shipping is saturated. perhaps the most bizarre of all the claims is that drop shipping is dead and it's over since. well, it's saturated. and the truth is when i see comments like this, it blows my mind, because this comment literally makes no sense. here is what market saturation literally is. it's when a product has been maximized in a market, in other words, when all of the people who would want that product have bought it already. and here is what drop shipping is. drop shipping is when a customer buys a product that you've listed in your store for a markup price. when they do, you go to the manufacturer and you purchase that one product for the wholesale price and then have the

in this video we're going to tok about how i managed to start drop shipping at such a young age, as well as making some decent money from my stores. i'm also going to share an awesome strategy with you guys, which, if you're struggling with ecommerce and drop shipping, this will really help you out a lot. also, guys, i'm feeling like my background is really bland and boring, so leave a comment and give me some suggestions as to what i should put up behind me. i was thinking some led sounds or something. leave some amazon links and i'll go check them out before we get started with the video. i constantly get asked a lot of questions on my instagram and i do try answer all of them, or as many as i can, but sometimes it is super difficult for me to go through hundreds of messages every single day. so what i've done is i've added a private group that comes with my dropshipping course. this way, you're not alone and you have a group or community of people that can help you out, including myself. so if you're getting started with drop shipping, this is perfect, as you have the support and the answers to any questions that you have. the course is actually only launching next week, but it is currently on pre-sale for 64.. which is 40 off its usual price. so if you're interested to see what the course covers, feel free to check out the link in the description. also, make sure you follow me on instagram. all right, let's tok about drop shipping and e-commerce and how i was able to start a profitable business at such a young age. now i'm not going to be leaking the products that are sold- exactly that's something that i'd saved for my course- but instead i'm just gonna tell you an awesome strategy of which i figured out when i was 17 years old. so this method was the main reason that i was able to make 500 000 at the age of 17 in south africa from e-commerce and selling online. so when i started dropshipping, i was 16 years old and at first it was pretty hard. as you can imagine, i had little to no experience and nowhere near the knowledge that i do today, so obviously made a lot of mistakes in the process. essentially, how it would go is: i'd find a product, i'd start up a store, run some ads, get some sales, but it wouldn't be anything significant for me. i'd make a few hundred dollars and i just end up stopping that store and giving up on them as i wasn't seeing any significant performance or results. anyways, i came to the conclusion that this wasn't working well enough for me and it was quite hard for me to sell these products. so i ended up searching for ways for me to basically perform better, and i started figuring out that one of my main problems was either that the product i was selling was not a good product or it was way too oversaturated. so the way i used to find my products is: i just go onto my usual supplier websites and pages and just scroll through, like for an hour looking for a product, and open like 20 tabs and basically pick one that i thought was the best. so obviously not a great way to do product research and find a product to sell, but anyways, i came up with a new strategy that i still use to this day, and some people may actually look down on it or whatever, but i essentially sell products that are already in super high demand that i see and find on social platforms, and i basically try to catch trends, but i do it in a way that i at least feel that it has purpose. so i personally don't think there's anything wrong with me selling majority of these products, as i found these products that are super saturated and doing really well, at least in the us and the top countries, and are basically repurposed, are supplied and sell it locally. in my home country, that of which, most of the time, the product is not even available here and a lot of people actually do this, and it doesn't really matter where you're staying. as long as it's outside the top saturated countries like america, uk, canada, australia, then it's fairly achievable. so i would find a product being advertised with loads of engagement. uh, i'd then either source it locally and if i couldn't find a supplier for this product, i'd import it in batches of a few hundred and if it did well, i'd order it more and sell more on scale, but then i just make the store and start selling. the best thing was that i could use other successful stores to make adjustments basically to my own, by taking a look at theirs and making the improvements to my own. i do this for advertising as well, but i'd basically just try and make my advertisements and website just at least a little bit different in a way that it was just a tiny bit better than theirs. so the main reason that this method, um, which we call actually single country dropshipping, and i covered extensively in my course- was super successful is because, for example, if i wanted to buy one of these cool products online that are constantly being advertised to me, i first have to deal with the exchange rate, making the product ridiculously expensive to order it from where i am currently, then have to deal with the insanely long shipping times- it usually takes around three to four weeks, which is obviously too long- and then the shipping price is obviously also ridiculously expensive. so now, by repurposing these products locally, eliminate basically every floor in the system for people in my country when they try to order products from overseas, especially drop shipping products. i can now offer the locals the same product that they're seeing advertise overseas for way cheaper, faster shipping and cheaper shipping. so majority of the time, these potential customers are going to buy from my store instead of the overseas one. it just makes more sense. it's more logical to do that, and there are a few other people in my country doing the exact same thing that i am, but the market is so big that it literally doesn't even matter. it doesn't make a difference in saturation, as you can imagine. there's a huge difference in the market when advertising to america compared to south africa. so if you're looking to get started with this, i personally suggest selling in the country that you currently live in, as long as it's not one of the ones that we mentioned previously. and the reason i say this is just because you have a better understanding of the demographics and statistiks of the people living in your country than you do of another country. so i personally just found that that was something that helped me out a little bit and gave me a bit more confidence to sell, if that makes sense, um. so yeah, give that a try. also, if you're just getting into drop shipping, this is by far the best way to start selling. selling internationally is a lot more complicated and complex and obviously harder to get started with. i'd say it does require more skills and experience to get that competitive advantage over others. so rather, stik to selling locally. if you're getting started with drop shipping, i promise you you will find it a lot easier and you will see better results and profits. so that's pretty much it for the video. i just wanted to cover this because i know for a fact it will help a lot of you out there that are struggling with your drop shipping and e-commerce. so, yeah, if you enjoyed the video, please do me a small favor and leave a like on the video and subscribe to the channel, and if you have any questions, feel free to send me a message on instagram. it's also linked down below in the description. once again, thank you so much for watching and i'll see you guys in the next video.

Dropshipping Suppliers in South Africa | Starting an Online Store | E-Commerce in South Africa
if there's one question i get quite often, it's about drop shipping and finding drop shipping suppliers. traditionally, the likes of aliexpress and alibaba have been the sort of go-to when it comes to drop shipping or e-commerce or even wholesale kind of e-commerce business. but in the spirit of being pro local, i thought i would compile a list of reliable suppliers that you can find right here in sunny south africa. let's get straight into it. [Music]. first, we have drop store. drop store is an e-commerce plug-in that makes it easy for you to find great products from local suppliers for your online store. as you can see, how it works is that you would browse drop stores catalog of products to find products that you like and want to sell, and then you would add the products you like to your online store through the plugin. once you made a sale, that would automatikally be communicated to drop store and to the specific supplier who is supplying that product. then all that would be left for you to do is to pay the supplier, and the supplier would then ship the product to your customer. so to get started, there are a few plans available for you on drop store. the free version doesn't offer a lot, but if you're in the sort of testing phase of your business, then it's definitely an option for you, but i think as your business grows and scales, you would definitely need to upgrade your plan. there is also the growth plan, the pro plan and the premium plan, and, although it's not highlighted here, i know that they also have a starter plan that costs 199 around a month and allows you to sell up to 25 products from their plugin. what's great about dropstore is that it integrates with e-commerce platforms like woocommerce and spotify, so if you already have a store running, already have a website, then you can plug it right in and get started. another great thing about them is that if you don't have a website already, they also sell ready-made, ready-to-go e-commerce websites, and so you could not only get products for them, you could get a ready-made website. personally, i wouldn't go with the ready-made website option as my first choice, but if you've been struggling to get things started and get things moving with your website or are struggling to build a website, this is a great and easy option for you, but it's important to keep in mind that easy isn't always the best. so, yeah, i went ahead and created an account on drop store so i could show you all the products that they have available and, as you can see here, they have a wide array of things, from clothing to homeware, to kitchenware, to accessories and everything in between. so, yeah, really great option for you and your online store. so next we have gadget guys. gadget guys is a drop shipping or wholesale supplier that focuses on tik gadgets and electronics, so if you're in the tik niche or want to get into the tik niche, then gadget guys is definitely for you. it works similarly to drop stool: you find the products you want, you list them on your store and then, when you get an order, you forward your order to the gadget guys supplier, who then will fulfill the order on your behalf. the key difference here is that, while job store is automated, gadget guys is not, so you would manually have to go in and place the order or for the order with the gadget guys suppliers, where on drop store it's automated because it is a plugin. what's great about gadget guys is that registering as a wholesaler or reseller is absolutely free, so really, this is a really good option for you if you're starting out. so let's go ahead and look at what they have available on their website. as you can see. they have anything and everything tik. they have earphones, they have power banks, they have mouses for your computer- anything under the sun. what i also really liked about this is that they had reputable brands available on here. products were reputable brands and i think this is really important, especially in this like sort of tik or gadget niche, is that people want to buy something that has a bit of a reputation rather than something that's like no name brand, no reputation, not really sure who makes, it not really sure if it's a good product that will hold up. so, yeah, i like that they have reputable products, reputable brands, available here. so, yeah, i think if you're a tik online store, then this is a great option for you. next, we have a shop star. shop star is a drop shipping or wholesale reseller that is based right here in cape town, south africa. i won't really go into how it works because it works exactly the same as drop store. what i do want to do is just go straight into the products they have available and their pricing. so shopstar has four plans available that you can choose from. that range from 220 rand to 1050 rand in price. what's also great about shopstar is that they kind of a one shop stop e-commerce supplier, and so they also have services available like an e-commerce website builder, hosting domain names, etc. etc. and so it's really a platform that you can use to get a whole lot of things that you would need for your e-commerce business. okay, so in terms of products, they have a wide range of things available, from gadgets to makeup to clothing to accessories. my only critique when it comes to shopstar is that their platform isn't very intuitive and user friendly. i also didn't like that. i had to fill in like three different forms just to be able to get to the point where i could view products. that's kind of like counter intuitive for me. surely i should be able to view the products and decide: okay, these are the products i want, so i'm going to sign up for an account. but i had to sign up for the account and, like other things, i literally filled in so many forms just to get to the product. once you get to the products, i think it's very much worth it. so this is a great option for you if you have a lot more patience than i do. and finally, we have classica. i hope i'm saying that right, but classical has all the products in the world. they have so many things available, literally. i think that if you can think of it, you can probably find it on classical, so this is a great way for you to go to get started. the only downside when it comes to classical is that they didn't have a lot of information about their reseller program available on their website, which for me also, you know, knocks a point off in terms of user experience and user journey. however, they do say that if you fill in the form, then one of their representatives will call you and contact you and give you all the info that you need to sign up. so i definitely think that it's worth doing the work to sign up for that, having the call and finding out more about their drop shipping or wholesale program. and, like i said in the beginning, they literally have so many products available. so let's just take a squeeze through and see what they have and you'll see that they have everything from kitchenware to clothing, to homeware, to accessories, to gadgets, to all the things. so really great option. other honorable mentions include cosmic pets. they do sort of pet things, pet accessories. so if you're opening an online store in the sort of pet grooming, pet keeping, pet lovers niche, then this is a really good option for you. another one is the sense. again, if you want to do an online store that sells scents and perfumes, this would be a great way for you to go. what's also good about them is that they also they sell scents and perfumes from brands that everyone knows. it's not just like funny hong kong stuff, which is great for, obviously, like building trust with your consumers, and, lastly, there's also men's republic, and they're great for things like gadgets and gaming. so, again, if you're in that kind of niche, then that's a good option for you. so there you have it: some local suppliers that you can use to start your ecommerce or drop shipping business. i hope this list was helpful for you guys. if you did find it helpful, please do give me a thumbs up so i know that it is real, or comment belo.

How To Lose Money Dropshipping On Shopify Selling For Bronze Suppliers
what's up everybody, anton crowley here from dropshiplifestylecom, and welcome to the first episode of a brand new series i'm creating that is designed to teach you how to lose money drop shipping on shopify. and don't worry, i'm not holding anything back in this series. i'm going to teach you everything you need to know if you really want to lose money as fast as possible. so let me get started by saying you're welcome. in this first episode i'm going to share how to lose money by selling for bronze suppliers. so whenever i am doing my supplier research and i'm finding my potential suppliers in a new niche, i put them into one of three tiers: we have gold, we have silver and we have bronze. now, silver and gold are great, but if you're looking to lose money, you definitely want to work with bronze. some characteristiks of bronze suppliers: first is that they accept everybody who applies. if you just contact them, say hey, i want to sell your stuff, they're not even going to ask you a question, they're just going to say let's do it. also, these suppliers do not enforce map policies. that stands for minimum advertised price, which means there are no pricing controls whatsoever. also, brawn suppliers: they offer really bad customer service. they're typically very late in responding to emails or phone calls. often they ship products out way after you submit orders to them. also- this is an important one- they charge for access to products. so you know you have a bronze supplier on your hands. if they ask you for money once you say, can i sell your stuff? they will say absolutely, just give us some money. that is a telltale sign of a bronze supplier. so the next tier, silver again. these are ones you can make money with. so you don't want to do this. but just keep it in mind now. silver suppliers will review all potential retailers. so if you reach out to them and say you want to sell their stuff, they're going to want to take a look at your store. they're going to have a conversation with you. you're going to have to fill out an application to actually do business with them. also, these silver suppliers enforce those minimum advertised price policies. so if i'm selling this stand-up desk and the minimum advertised price is one thousand dollars, that means i can sell it for a thousand, and so can you. that's a minimum advertised price. also, they offer good to great customer service. so they're going to answer your phone calls. they're going to ship products on time. customers are going to be happy with the product quality. that is a silver supplier. so now we'll move on to gold suppliers, and these are the ones where it's easiest to make money with. so if you're doing your research and you find a gold supplier, be sure to turn the other way. run. don't even contact them because, remember, we are looking to lose as much money as possible and that will never happen if we work with a gold supplier. now you can know. if you found one- because they only work with a small number of select retailers- you're not going to find their products on all the websites that sell products online. they really hand pick who they do business with. also, they enforce those minimum advertised price policies. they offer excellent customer service. you'll typically get a dedicated account rep that proactively works with you in increasing how much you sell for their brand, and they also refer business to retailers. so if somebody wants to buy from them- they don't sell direct to the public, they'll actually give those orders to their retailers. they'll send you sales. so if, for some reason, you accidentally got approved to sell for a gold supplier, you definitely would end up making money, but that is not why we're here today. so if you really want to put the odds in your corner and give yourself the best chance to succeed by losing money drop shipping on shopify with bronze suppliers, you need to be sure that you only sell their products. so here are some tips and why they're so important. first, make sure every single supplier that you get approved to sell for always asks you for money up front. they should always charge you for access, and it doesn't matter what they charge. it could be a one-time fee of a thousand dollars, it could be 67 a year. if they're asking you for money to sell their products up front, you can be almost positive that over time, you will lose money selling their stuff. next tip: make sure they do not enforce minimum advertised price policies. this way, you can be 100 confident that even if you find a profitable product to sell, somebody out there can just undercut you and start selling that same product at a loss. and if you want to keep getting sales for some reason, then you too can lower your prices and you can sell it a loss as well. this is another great way to lose money by drop shipping for bronze suppliers, and maybe the most important tip i can give you here is to be sure to search for the brand's names on google before you get approved to sell their stuff, to make sure that they have terrible reviews. ideally, these reviews would be from actual customers of theirs, saying things like: shipping took forever, the items arrived damaged, they didn't look like the photos, the product quality was trash. the worse reviews, the better. this way, once people start buying from you and receiving the products, you can also get a ton of refund requests and chargebacks- just another great way to lose money by drop shipping on shopify when working with bronze suppliers. so that's it for this episode, guys. now you could seriously go out there and start losing money as soon as today. of course, if you want to make money, you tiknically could just do the opposite of every single thing i shared in this episode and also register for a free training i'm hosting over at dropshipwebinarcom, but that's totally up to you. so if you got value from this episode, guys, be sure to give a like and let me know, and i will be back on monday to share one simple trick that allows you to lose even more money: drop shipping on shopify by picking the worst possible niche. i will see you then.

I already had a successful Amazon FBA business, which is something totally different. we're not going to tok about that. I tok about that on my channel a lot, but it's just another online business that you can start. but I wanted to start Shopify but I saw many problems with it, especially the way that people online weren't teaching it. and the main problems that I saw were: number one: the shipping time was extremely long. so if you were to go and dropship something- which means you would go- you would set up a store online. you should get a shop by subscription. you would find a product and you would use an app called uber Lowe which simply takes a product from Aliexpress and copy and pastes it on your store on Shopify, and Aliexpress is basically like the number one Chinese website of manufacturers where you can go and buy individual units of products from China, and so you would go you news over: lo, you've copy paste the product. you wouldn't order any inventory, and when a customer actually goes and buys your product, that's when you go and purchase the product from your supplier- automatikally does it through overload and then your supplier would directly ship it out to your customer. however, using a service called a packet, it would take like two to three weeks to get to get the product to your customer, and that's just way too long in today's world when you can just Amazon Prime something in two days. people are used to that and if you're gonna go and follow that outdated dropshipping model, you're just gonna get a ton of complaints. that's exactly what I experienced when I first started out like that. another big problem that I saw was coming from Amazon, where we have two private label our products, which basically means create a brand. right, so you'd like actually create your own logo and you'd put the logo on your products and you would actually create like a name for your product line. on Shopify, people were just copying and pasting cheap Chinese products and putting it on their store, and so I quickly saw that that was a problem, and so I had to fix that as well, and so that's why I told my stuff: you know what I'm gonna get into Shopify? I better come up with a brand new strategy. that's exactly what branded drop shipping is and has become. so here's a short explanation of brain the drop shipping. you create a Shopify store that sells a valuable product to people in a specific niche and you build a worldwide brand out of that, slowly expanding your product line. essentially, instead of just going and dropship random stuff that you find online, you know, instead of just going and creating stores or you're constantly testing product and you're constantly just trying to find new gimmicky things to sell, you're creating a brand around one specific product that you find to actually give people enough value where they're able and willing to pay great money for it. you know, say $30, $40, $50 at least for the product, and then it's also something that you can go and expand with a product line. so why brand the drop shipping? this is a very good question. you can start making profit within a week to a few weeks after watching this video. that's not an exaggeration. you know, with drop shipping you don't have to wait for any products actually get to your house or to get into a fulfillment warehouse. you know you don't have to wait for any of that. you also don't have to place any bulk orders. you take zero risk upfront because you don't have to order a bunch of product. so it's not like you have to go and spend thousands of dollars to order something and then you don't know if that thing is going to sell and if you're gonna just be left with a thousand units in your garage just lying there, and you know all that money is invested and gone. so that's another reason why you should do branded drop shipping now. all you need also is just a computer and an internet connection, so no matter where you're from the United States, from Canada, from Russia, from Germany, from Africa. as long as you have a computer and an internet connection, you can start this business and it's fully possible that you can go and make great passive income with it now. another reason is you don't do any of the shipping. you never even see the products. so once you have your store up and running and you're making sales, then the customer pays you first. so when you make a sale on your store, the customers you know they pay you the money, and so you get the money in your bank account or on your PayPal or whichever payment provider you're using, and then you pay your supplier. you send a list of your orders to your suppl.
