Making Money on Ebay with Artworks...

Hey guys, it's me, Kidding Human. I've talked to you guys about treasure hunting at flea markets and antique shops and whatever looking for little treasures that you can sell on eBay. Today, I want to tell you about something that I used to do back in the day - old art prints.

Tips for Finding and Selling Old Art Prints:

- Look for original etchings or lithographs in folios or on their own.

- Check for authenticity using a jeweler's loupe to examine the ink on the paper. Genuine etchings will have irregularly shaped globules of ink.

- Do your due diligence before investing in art - it's hard to say whether the market is still viable.

- Consider printing reproductions of public domain images, such as old Japanese woodblock prints.

- Market your prints well - frame them up nicely in your eBay ad to make them look more valuable.

Anecdotal Story:

I used to buy prints online that would cost me between $40 and $50 apiece, and I would sell ten of them a week on eBay for a minimum of $200 apiece. I sold thousands and thousands of these things.

If you're out and about, look for original etchings or lithographs, and consider printing reproductions of public domain images. Market your prints well, and be sure to do your due diligence before investing in art. And, most importantly, be thankful for what you have this Thanksgiving and help someone less fortunate than you.
