How to Shop for the Best Raw Foods in Las Vegas at the Lowest Prices
this is john kohler with okrawcom here in Las Vegas, Nevada, and what I'm going to do today is we're going to show you around Las Vegas and show you specifically and where to shop for the best produce, the best raw foods to buy today. you tube to be successful if you're traveling or even live in Las Vegas. so I'm going to travel to a lotta different places, check out a lot of different stores and find a migrate of all the different kinds of produce that I usually shop for. so once you come with me and we're going to check out some of the stores- alright, so whether you live in Vegas or are traveling to Las Vegas, they're your first stop should be Town Square, Las Vegas, right on Las Vegas Boulevard, and Town Square convenient, right from the airport. once you get your rental car, you want to take a right turn and a right turn out of the rental car center and then you're going to go down Las Vegas Boulevard and you're going to take the overpass. it's like right in the middle it's going to throw you down into Town Square and that's where the Whole Foods is. so let's check out the whole food. so this is the Whole Foods on Las Vegas Boulevard. we're going to go in there today and show you how I shop and what I'm shopping for. they are open daily from 8 am to 10 pm, right as you enter the door. there's a few bins here labeled raw foods and let's check out what they got. so they got some Italian almonds and these are raw or raw and unpasteurized. yeah, they go in there. those almonds are really good. nine dollars and 59 cents on sale. best deal at that's whole Whole Foods here. vo can't read that label there- but the wild jungle peanuts. I've not find a lower price anywhere for these guys- only 5 dollars and 59 cents per pound on sale here. so I'm going to definitely get some jungle peanuts and otherwise we're going to go ahead and shop for the organic produce items that are on sale. so here's a produce section in the Whole Foods and right to the right as you enter they have a big raw food section. now I encourage you not to purchase things from the raw food section, but encourage you to purchase your food from the produce section much, much healthier. check my other videos for more information on that. you know, watch out for the big stuff and these are conventionally grown satsumas. I don't necessarily buy on organic foods at Whole Foods and they didn't have a lot of non-organic foods at many Whole Foods. I mean, here's conventional blood oranges, conventional cocktail, conventional cara cara oranges. dimensional lemons, conventional pomelo. oh, there's some organic tangelos. so this is the sign you want to look for when you come to Whole Foods. it's a sale sign. so organic tangelos on sale- 149 a pound. it also on sale of the collard greens: 2 for $3. that's a pretty good price there they are they're, though, but I'm probably not gonna get collard greens because I grew my own and they're way better. but that would be a good option. 2 for $3 is not a bad price. so here at Whole Foods you're: ganna CLE growing blueberries are $5.99 for 6 ounces. so keep that in mind as you watch this video, because I'm sure I'll find it for less, all right. so I don't see anything else on sale or anything interesting here. so I'm gonna go ahead and check out and we're gonna make a couple more stops through. that's all you got to do it to save money and get the best raw food. so I just got finished. shopping at Whole Foods and whole food is not the most economical place to be buying your raw foods and, yes, you can still be raw and not shop at Whole Foods. Whole Foods is not a requirement to be a raw foodists. actually think about growing your own food, sheepish toward supporting your local farmers market. we're gonna head off the farmer's market next, but they usually have better prices. but there's also many other stores in Las Vegas and supermarkets where you can get food quite affordably. so while Whole Foods sells organic foods, there's many other stores that sells organic foods here in Las Vegas and probably in your neck of the woods. so I encourage you to check out all the different stores in your area to see what stores have organic foods- from big warehouse stores that maybe even 99-cent stores and ethnic markets- they all may carry some organic foods. now, while I encourage eating as much percentage and hype of organic foods whenever possible, I do occasionally eat some conventional foods and certain conventional foods that maybe aren't sprayed so much or how pestikide residues, and there's a website- environmental working group- where you can see the top 10- most pestikides laid in foods and the least pestikide Laden foods or the safest conventional cuisine, and I tend to eat those foods off that list occasionally, especially in the winter time when it's hard to get a good variety of a fresh Bruce and the varieties go down so I can eat some tropical- you know least sprayed, non-organic fruits. so next let's go travel some more and show you some other places. I shot that in Las Vegas for raw, fresh fruits and vegetables. so now we're here in El Dorado Business Park: 74- 85 Dean Martin Drive. let's see, this is the site of a indoor farmers market at the memorial vitality, a warehouse for his restaurants in the area. I'm gonna walk up in there and check it out. now. the best source of produce is your local farmers market. so here in Vegas is no different. this farmers market runs year-round. you could always find in-season fruits and vegetables at the farmers market. some of it is mush, you know, shipped in from California, but a lot of it is actually grown locally and I encourage you to support your local farmers that are growing food for you and also you should start growing your own food because you can grow food year-round in Las Vegas. all right, so we're gonna head into the farmers market. it's inside a warehouse, it's suite 106. let's check it out. so we're inside the farmers market and let's check out some of the different growers here and see what they got. all right, so we're going to go over here to Las Vegas grown produce. so you actually grew all this in Las Vegas, right, I did. we are in the Northwest area of Las Vegas- great, and wow, you can. so it's December, actually almost January, and you have, I see, tomatoes and you have o eggplant even and some peppers. so how, how is that possible in Las Vegas in the wintertime? Wow, great. and I see some wonderful bok choy over here and other root vegetables. and check out this gigantik cabbage. it's, it's huge. so people, a lot of people, buy like these big cabbages as well as the cabbage stems so they use them for wrapping, doing spring rolls. we are in the wintertime now, so there's not a whole lot of fruits. I still got things like apples, crab apples, radicchio lettuce, black kale, wild spinach, baby black kale, peacock kale, sugar snap peas, all kinds of different fresh things here at the farmers market. just a shop at the farmers market you can get the freshest stuff and they'll pay the lowest price to the table. with desert honey and bee pollen, I think I'm gonna get some people. next door is the China date- China ranch State Farm Fresh dates. just a short drive outside Las Vegas. fresh picked pistachios- got the raw ones over there. herbs by Diane and they got all different kinds of herbs: marriages, oregano, arugula, radish, bean, situation, avocados and hydroponically grown tomatoes. par Rome, how we're at Valley and West here. this is a Marianas supermarket. it's a Mexican market, so I often go to ethnic stores and supermarkets to find some exotik produce and other things are really good prices. so this is one of the largest Mexican markets in the Las Vegas Valley, so let's go inside and check out what I'm gonna get today. so here's the produce section of Marianas: hustling and bustling, really crowded here, lots of people shopping. let's go check out some of the cool produce finds and I will tell you more about them. so my favorite things about the Mexican market: jicama: 3 pounds for $1- amazing price- and you've never seen jicama this fresh. this is so fresh, not like the s.

look, it's on um. it's on some of our uh like pokemon world group. it's on the dallas fort worth group, um. it's on the lord rush facebook gaming page. it's on meta zoo world. it's on, uh, i think, one other simulcastik group. but anyways, happy january, the third, happy new year, everyone. it's almost eight o'clock central here. those of you are taking time out of your important nights, uh, away from your families and loved ones, to listen into this. ask me anything. uh. thank you so much for tuning in um we, this is the uh the most exciting. ask me anything that i've done. uh, one, because we are literally three days away from officially minting collectible nfts, um. and two, because we are filled the white list, guys. uh, and what a journey it's been. um, i've been on edge the last few weeks because my goal was always to have the white list filled by christmas. that way it gave people enough time to have that um, to have that buffer between then and january 6th of the project naturally growing. before, uh, we officially launched, but i mean three days before launch, the whitelist is completely filled up. we kept zero bots away and out of the project. um, everyone who trusted us and using the gather app shout out to you guys, because i some people messaged me and they were like: ryan, is this legit? um, you know, is this, is this gather app thing and a legit bot? and the answer is yes. uh, ak did an incredible job designing the discord from day one till now and in the future, and, uh, part of it was putting the gather bot in place to collect your email for an email list and then your meta mask or trust wallet id. um. so if you're on the white list and you use your coinbase wallet, don't freak out. just message ak in the discord and she can change it up for you and get your uh meta mask or trust wallet uploaded, uh in your whitelist spot, because we're going to be uploading the white list to the smart contract, uh, between tonight, tomorrow, um and wednesday. so we're at a thousand, whoa thousand white list spots. we filled it, baby, um, you know, for a project that has less than 4 000 members on the discord, for a project with no celebrity endorsement, rug pull, cash grab mentality, transparency, open, honest, uh like networking, organic, grassroots marketing has been our goal since day one, when i came up with this idea in my head and i put my head to paper, writing down what i wanted the art to be, what i wanted the utility to be, who i wanted to align myself with, his brand partners, who i potentially wanted to be a part of this team. every single step along the way, from the conceptualized idea, literally sitting up at night one night months ago thinking about it, to this point three days away, every idea and thought i've manifested has come true. and it's only become true because 100, all of you, every single one of you that's watching on drip, every single one of you that's listening in on the discord, all of the mods, all of my team, all of the brand ambassadors- this all has become possible because of each and every single one of you. um, you know, aka said on my: uh, collect a ball. on the website. i'm the hardest working person in the room and i truly believe that i work hard for everyone else, um, and i can't do that without the successes of everybody around me. so congratulations to everybody who's part of this project, everybody who plans on minting, my team, the brand ambassadors, people that are just supporting us. um, you know it's congratulations. we filled the white list. uh, that was the biggest goal. uh, was just to fill a white list. you know, a couple weeks ago it didn't seem like it could potentially be possible because i wasn't spending the marketing dollars. i didn't want to pay fifty thousand dollars to have some celebrity mention our nft in a story post and then they just never care about it again. that was never what i wanted to do. could i have done that? absolutely. was that our goal and our vision? to, to, to, run, collect the ball? absolutely not. i thought that with brand ambassadors, with the hard work of ak myself, all of you, that we could get this white list filled before launch, and we made it happen. it's three days before launch, but, but it happened. so whitelist is completely full. those of you that are not on it, i'm sorry it's too late, you can't get on it. but what's great is friday at 6 pm central, 24 hours after the pre-sale mint on january, the six on thursday you have, as you have, the opportunity to use as many wallets as you want and mint as many as you want. so the biggest step right now is: yes, the white list is full, let's get to thursday, let's have a smooth release. but i want to go over a couple things before we get into your questions and please drop any questions you guys have, whatsoever in the ask me anything section of the discord and i'm going to get to every single one of your questions tonight. i have nothing to do tonight other than to just throw myself into your questions and and educate you guys and educate myself and get us all on the same page ready for thursday. that's what i'm going to do over the next three days, um, and that's what we're all going to be doing. working hard on the back end is just making sure that we have the mint process 100 percent locked in. we're going to educate you guys. ak made an incredible, incredible video on how to mint uh with our specific nft- how to mint rnft. to go to the website, you connect your wallet and mint the nft. so we're going to be sharing that um. i don't know if we're doing that tomorrow, wednesday, but we'll have that up, um, but it's uh, it's uh. that's what we're gonna take for the rest of the night. we're gonna take the rest of the night, um, and answer all your questions and and tell you what you need to be ready for for thursday. um. so, first and foremost, if you're on the white list, congratulations. thank you for believing in us. thank you for taking time out of your day to attach your email, attach your ethereum wallet. um, the biggest thing right now is to have ethereum in your wallet, right? um? if you purchase, uh, your ethereum on coinbase and you're trying to transfer it over to metamask, you're probably not gonna have enough time to do so, so find some one of your friends who already has ethereum, get on metamask, get on another platform and get that ethereum in your metamask or trust wallet as soon as possible. you want to have enough to at least make one, two, three, four, five, however many you're minting on the whitelist. you can mint up to five nfts on the whitelist and i encourage everybody who's on the white list: mint up to five, max it out, right? if you're going for that- that perfect 10 collection, to own all 10, you can mint five on thursday and then on friday you can mint however many you want, right? so if you want to collect all 10 collectibles, if you want to get all 10 and be entered in to win the base set booster box and 10 000 in ethereum, um, you want to mint five on thursday and then mint as many as you want on friday to get you to that perfect number of ten to be entered into that giveaway. so the biggest thing you want to do: you've already got on the white list, your, your your wallets connected on the smart contract. you're ready to go. you just need to make sure you have that ethereum loaded up in your wallet right. um, i've been helping a lot of people with that today. yesterday i was helping people with that. make sure you get that ethereum in your wallet. ethereum's at an incredible buying price right now too. um, you know a lot of people. i was literally on a phone call with a, with a different person, a different founder, about 30 minutes ago, and one of the questions was: is, uh, is, why didn't i launch, uh, our nft last year, you know, a couple months ago or a month ago or sooner? um, and one thing i wanted to do was: get into the new year, let nfts become more of a household name, let nfts develop themselves and become more of a mainstream idea and thought for buying, selling and trading and collecting. and then let's release- and i also wanted ethereum to be at a really, really good buy-in price point, um, for everyone to be able to.
Ancient Aliens: The Bible's Shocking Connection to the Number 12 (Season 16) | History
patmos island, greece, 60 ad. in a mountaintop cavern known as the cave of the apocalypse, saint john the theologian wrote the last book of the christian new testament, the book of revelation. in the 12th chapter it describes a heavenly realm called the new jerusalem. the book of revelation toks about the unveiling of a new world. and so there's the earthly jerusalem. this is a new jerusalem. new jerusalem had 12 gates, three facing north, three facing south, three facing east, three facing west, one for each of the twelve tribes of israel. this city also had measurements that were multiples of 12.. that's very interesting. it connects with that divine 12 and then the ability to divide 12 into four sets of three, very practikal number. while many take the book of revelation to be symbolic, there is one curious aspect which leads some to believe it was inspired by an otherworldly encounter. in revelation, this city descends from out of the sky, which leads the question: could the new jerusalem have been a mothership or a city that descends from the ship? if the book of revelation was inspired by an extraterrestrial event, one where john the theologian witnessed a spaceship descending to earth, might this explain how john had been taught about the new jerusalem and the cosmic importance of the number 12.. the word angel is used 12 times in the book of revelations. most of the time, these angels are telling the future. they are prophesying about some end time event. in the jewish, the christian, the muslim traditions there is this idea of the world to come, that this world isn't the be-all and end-all. could it be that the revelation prophecy isn't about a physical event, but rather the ushering in of a new age for mankind? and, if so, might the formation of the majestik 12 have set humanity on a path towards what is referred to in the bible as the new jerusalem? ancient astronaut theorists say yes and suggest that, according to traditions from the other side of the world, the time of revelation doesn't lie in the far future but is happening right now. the petting basin, guatemala, december 21st 2012.. thousands of people congregate at the ruins of tikal, one of the largest archaeological sites of the maya civilization that thrived in the area of central america for more than 2 000 years. the maya were known for being incredibly accurate at tracking time by tracing the movement of celestial bodies, and it is on this exact day that the famous mayan long count calendar comes to an abrupt end. those gathered, etikal and other important sites around the world are antikipating some earth-changing events, possibly even the end of the world. so the mayans had this prophecy- what we would call 2012, and they were toking about a coming new age or a coming new thing. the best analogy i ever heard about the end of the mind calendar was like it was an odometer. it wasn't the end of the world, it was the end of a system and then the beginning of a new system. i find it quite fascinating that my calendar system contains this period of time, 144 000 days, which again multiple of 12.. so it's something very strange going on there. you know, with this number 12 recurring, was the end of the mayan calendar, signaling not the end of the world but a turning point for humankind? as far as ancient astronaut theorists are concerned, the answer is yes, and if the number 12 is some kind of alien code, it is profoundly linked to everything from the formation of the majestik 12 to the events of 12 21, 2012.. many people were expecting possibly, some big cataclysm. it was the end of the mayan calendar, but instead what happened in 2012 was a turning point in history.
Shopping at La Bonita Supermarket
[Music]. all right, friends, I guess I'm in the Sun here. it's pretty bright. there we go. I guess we're going shopping with Dustin today. so I am here at la Bonita supermarkets and I'm looking around the center here. take a look at this, look at their beauty salon now. open eyebrows, open beauty salon. lots of places are open. it's good to see things getting back into the normal. you know what's this over here, some breakfast restaurant now open. oh, that place looks good. Sin City smokers. huh, barbecue burgers, la Bonita. so check this place out. so I'm gonna put my mask on. remember, if you like these videos, like and subscribe. there is a video of how to make one of these from a scarf. so link description down below. there we go already. so beneath is pretty big store. they've got flowers, as you can see there. they've got juice bar. they've got even little fast-food area where you can get some combo meals with rice and beans, all kinds of stuff, and sitting areas. you can actually enjoy your food inside the sport. the other side of the story: they've got, you know, their deli, their hot meals or bakery, great Porter's here as well. really a very nice supermarket in this part of Henderson. all right, guys, just go back a few groceries. I guess I'm right in the Sun. but what's really interesting is that this: they give you a hand sanitizers. I mean, look how big that is, it's the biggest. not a pop to watch. so, yeah, very interesting place. it really felt like I was in Mexico too. they had the music, tons of produce. I definitely will come back when actually really in more need of groceries. but you know what? I did manage to get some flour, yep, so they were not out of flour. so that's the main reason I went there. but you know, I got a couple of things: got some bananas, got some apples, I got some drumstiks, I guess, oh yeah, yeah, I get the package of my chocolate chips - way to make cookies this weekend. so I am set, in course, hand sanitizer. if you like our videos, make sure to LIKE, comment and subscribe. thank you.
