00:02:19 00:02:23 a product page it's telling them you
00:02:21 00:02:25 know what it's zero zero right it's free
00:02:23 00:02:28 right it's fantastik they click Add to
00:02:25 00:02:30 Cart right they Add to Cart and then
00:02:28 00:02:32 they hit this cart page where it still
00:02:30 00:02:34 says to them a you're paying zero today
00:02:32 00:02:36 this is your lucky day right this is
00:02:34 00:02:37 your lucky day you're getting this
00:02:36 00:02:41 completely for free before you finally
00:02:37 00:02:43 you know send them to a checkout page
00:02:41 00:02:45 where the first step of the checkout
00:02:43 00:02:48 page is for them to put in their their
00:02:45 00:02:50 shipping info right and it's stilling
00:02:48 00:02:52 telling them it's zero right still
00:02:50 00:02:54 telling them it's zero and then you're
00:02:52 00:02:56 asking for the billing and that's where
00:02:54 00:02:59 you'll reveal that's where you reveal
00:02:56 00:03:01 the shipping price of let's say nine
00:02:59 00:03:03 ninety five right and that's where you
00:03:01 00:03:05 reveal it so the reason a lot of these
00:03:03 00:03:07 free plus shipping offers work so well
00:03:05 00:03:09 is because you are getting micro
00:03:07 00:03:10 commitments right they're clicking here
00:03:09 00:03:12 they're clicking right here they're

00:03:47 00:03:51 saying this will not work for you I just
00:03:49 00:03:53 don't think this is scalable whatsoever
00:03:51 00:03:55 because what you're relying on here is
00:03:53 00:03:57 this one-time sale of nine ninety five
00:03:55 00:03:59 and I don't know about you but nine
00:03:57 00:04:02 ninety five doesn't really get me
00:03:59 00:04:04 excited at all whatsoever okay and if it
00:04:02 00:04:06 gets you excited you're probably setting
00:04:04 00:04:08 your bar too low for how much money you

00:04:57 00:04:59 in there that are gonna maximize the

00:04:59 00:05:04 business owner okay but what you have to
00:05:02 00:05:05 understand is that everything stays the
00:05:04 00:05:08 same so if you're currently doing any
00:05:05 00:05:10 sort of Shopify store instead of taking
00:05:08 00:05:12 your free plus shipping offer and
00:05:10 00:05:15 putting it to stop of icer right your ad
00:05:12 00:05:17 now right is going to point to something
00:05:15 00:05:18 called this opt-in page right now this
00:05:17 00:05:19 opt-in page those of you that are oh
00:05:18 00:05:22 geez on this channel you guys know this
00:05:19 00:05:24 stuff right the opt-in page is really
00:05:22 00:05:25 there to grab that email address now you
00:05:24 00:05:27 can you don't have to grab an email
00:05:25 00:05:29 address here you can grab a mini chat
00:05:27 00:05:31 opt-in right but you need to create
00:05:29 00:05:32 something here you need to grab
00:05:31 00:05:34 something here and so why do you have to
00:05:32 00:05:36 grab something here is one it's a
00:05:34 00:05:38 commitment right you're getting that
00:05:36 00:05:40 commitment plus you're getting an asset
00:05:38 00:05:42 for your business okay this is the beat
00:05:40 00:05:44 these are the biggest things right
00:05:42 00:05:45 you're getting a commitment from the
00:05:44 00:05:47 customer and you're making them raise

00:06:14 00:06:18 list they're buying the assets of that

00:07:18 00:07:23 the reason you're focusing on a 995 sale
00:07:20 00:07:25 right which is like no money whatsoever
00:07:23 00:07:27 right you need to increase the average
00:07:25 00:07:29 cart value the average cart value is one
00:07:27 00:07:30 of the most important numbers in your
00:07:29 00:07:32 business that you need to know the
00:07:30 00:07:35 average amount of Kimani that a customer
00:07:32 00:07:36 spends with you is going to dictate how
00:07:35 00:07:39 much money you can actually spend to
00:07:36 00:07:41 acquire a customer okay and those who
00:07:39 00:07:43 can acquire customers and spend the most
00:07:41 00:07:45 money to acquire customer will win okay
00:07:43 00:07:48 Dan Kennedy said it best those who can
00:07:45 00:07:49 spend the most acquire customer will win
00:07:48 00:07:51 it's one of the most important business
00:07:49 00:07:53 principles to grasp that okay the
00:07:51 00:07:55 customer is the most important part of
00:07:53 00:07:57 this okay now you want to be able to
00:07:55 00:07:59 acquire them profitably so how do we do
00:07:57 00:08:01 this well we offer quantity break
00:07:59 00:08:05 discounts I always like to offer one two
00:08:01 00:08:07 four six and eight quantity breaks here
00:08:05 00:08:09 right so it can buy one for 9.95 they
00:08:07 00:08:11 can buy two for let's say you know 1795
00:08:09 00:08:13 and to get a better and better deal as
00:08:11 00:08:15 they buy more than one unit everybody
00:08:13 00:08:17 likes a good deal and they'll continue
00:08:15 00:08:19 to buy from you as long as you're giving
00:08:17 00:08:20 them a good deal okay
00:08:19 00:08:22 the next thing you could add in here is
00:08:20 00:08:25 an order bump and this is essentially a
00:08:22 00:08:26 pre-purchase upsell now a pre-purchase
00:08:25 00:08:26 upsells kinda like being at a grocery
00:08:26 00:08:28 store
00:08:26 00:08:30 easy toss an item right I like to think
00:08:28 00:08:32 about it as a no-brainer
00:08:30 00:08:33 right so for example if somebody's
00:08:32 00:08:35 buying toothbrush you're selling a
00:08:33 00:08:36 toothbrush what's the next logical thing
00:08:35 00:08:38 that they can that they need that
00:08:36 00:08:39 they're gonna buy anyway so toothpaste
00:08:38 00:08:41 right they're gonna be buying it anyway
00:08:39 00:08:43 to let that be from you what's the most
00:08:41 00:08:45 logical thing that you can pair with
00:08:43 00:08:46 your free push shipping product right
00:08:45 00:08:48 and
00:08:46 00:08:50 that people would be buying anyway okay
00:08:48 00:08:52 so if it's fishing lures maybe some a
00:08:50 00:08:55 limited edition fishing lure or maybe
00:08:52 00:08:56 some replacement hooks right something
00:08:55 00:08:59 along those lines it's gonna make it so
00:08:56 00:09:01 such a no-brainer decision to actually
00:08:59 00:09:02 take action and buy from you it
00:09:01 00:09:05 regardless because they were gonna buy
00:09:02 00:09:06 it anyway okay now right here you're
00:09:05 00:09:09 already gonna be should be selling
00:09:06 00:09:10 roughly three point four units right
00:09:09 00:09:12 this usually you're gonna be selling
00:09:10 00:09:14 that's or it's gonna be like three point
00:09:12 00:09:16 four units more right compared to the
00:09:14 00:09:18 roughly one point one units that you
00:09:16 00:09:19 would sell in a Shopify sir and why
00:09:18 00:09:20 there's a point one here it's because
00:09:19 00:09:21 occasionally somebody will say okay well
00:09:20 00:09:23 if they're giving them for free I might
00:09:21 00:09:25 as well get a bunch of them right now
00:09:23 00:09:26 but it doesn't happen because the second
00:09:25 00:09:28 they get to your shipping page you're
00:09:26 00:09:29 gonna see how outrageously priced it is
00:09:28 00:09:31 and they leave this is why car pages
00:09:29 00:09:33 suck right this is why I never recommend
00:09:31 00:09:35 you ever have a cart page you don't see
00:09:33 00:09:37 a car page here right car pages lead to
00:09:35 00:09:39 buyer's remorse okay they lead to
00:09:37 00:09:41 buyer's remorse and it with you when
00:09:39 00:09:43 somebody is all excited browsing around
00:09:41 00:09:45 your Shopify store adding stuff to cart
00:09:43 00:09:48 when they finally hit that car page and
00:09:45 00:09:49 they see how much it cost they're out of
00:09:48 00:09:50 there they're not gonna buy from you
00:09:49 00:09:52 right they just you know they're just
00:09:50 00:09:55 it's it's not gonna happen or I go look
00:09:52 00:09:56 I see this all the time I look at a lot
00:09:55 00:09:57 of Shopify stores and I look at that
00:09:56 00:09:59 abandoned carts that they're getting
00:09:57 00:10:02 it's like well because you're not
00:09:59 00:10:03 telling them what to do right you're
00:10:02 00:10:05 letting them browse your Shopify store
00:10:03 00:10:07 and add a bunch of stuff to cart whether
00:10:05 00:10:09 they're not really gonna buy those
00:10:07 00:10:11 things to begin with now how do we
00:10:09 00:10:12 combat that with a funnel well we upsell
00:10:11 00:10:15 those items
00:10:12 00:10:17 okay we up sell those items here now the
00:10:15 00:10:18 upsells are we're really all your
00:10:17 00:10:20 profits are made and you can have as
00:10:18 00:10:22 many upsells as you want in this example
00:10:20 00:10:24 I'm just showing you let's say we're
00:10:22 00:10:25 gonna do two let's say you're selling
00:10:24 00:10:27 fishing lures right here well maybe
00:10:25 00:10:29 you're gonna sell like a tackle box
00:10:27 00:10:32 right here and maybe you're gonna sell
00:10:29 00:10:33 like a scale and measuring for fish you
00:10:32 00:10:35 know measure how big it is and how much
00:10:33 00:10:38 it weighs you're gonna sell that right
00:10:35 00:10:40 here now this is all going to be profit
00:10:38 00:10:42 now right if you make a sale right here
00:10:40 00:10:44 this is all profit after product costs
00:10:42 00:10:47 because this person is already inside of
00:10:44 00:10:49 your sales funnel okay so not only did
00:10:47 00:10:51 you just get from the ad you created an
00:10:49 00:10:53 asset for yourself this person you're
00:10:51 00:10:54 gonna be able to follow up with for
00:10:53 00:10:55 years and years and years right you're
00:10:54 00:10:57 even gonna be able to follow up with
00:10:55 00:10:59 them if they decide not to buy right
00:10:57 00:11:01 away impulsively which you
00:10:59 00:11:03 a lot of people don't buy impulsively
00:11:01 00:11:04 from you right you need to follow up
00:11:03 00:11:07 with them with remarketing campaigns
00:11:04 00:11:08 right and retargeting campaigns there's
00:11:07 00:11:09 a difference right there if you don't
00:11:08 00:11:11 know the difference between retargeting
00:11:09 00:11:12 and remarketing let me know drop me a
