00:00:29 00:00:33 college when I made my first dollar
00:00:31 00:00:36 online and it was surreal it opened up
00:00:33 00:00:38 this amazing world to me that it's
00:00:36 00:00:40 actually possible to make money online
00:00:38 00:00:43 one thing led to another ended up
00:00:40 00:00:45 graduating college and going into
00:00:43 00:00:47 starting my first e-commerce businesses
00:00:45 00:00:49 unfortunately had to work full-time and
00:00:47 00:00:51 also doing my e-commerce businesses at
00:00:49 00:00:53 the same time now during this period of
00:00:51 00:00:55 my life I wish I could have went back
00:00:53 00:00:58 and tell myself these three key things
00:00:55 00:01:01 because if I knew these things I truly
00:00:58 00:01:03 believe that my trajectory of my life
00:01:01 00:01:05 and scaling of my businesses would have
00:01:03 00:01:06 come a lot faster and a lot sooner and
00:01:05 00:01:08 that's not to say I'm not happy with the
00:01:06 00:01:10 progress that I've made in my life to
00:01:08 00:01:12 this point I absolutely am but I want to
00:01:10 00:01:14 share the mistakes the obstacles that
00:01:12 00:01:16 I've went through in my journey of
00:01:14 00:01:18 e-commerce drop shipping and online
00:01:16 00:01:20 marketing and share those with you guys
00:01:18 00:01:21 especially those of you that are
00:01:20 00:01:23 beginners and you're just getting it's
00:01:21 00:01:25 getting started in your e-commerce drop
00:01:23 00:01:27 shipping business now the first thing
00:01:25 00:01:29 and the first huge mistake that I made
00:01:27 00:01:31 and you're probably making right now in
00:01:29 00:01:34 your drop shewing business right is that
00:01:31 00:01:37 you're not focusing on solving problems
00:01:34 00:01:38 for your customers okay and trust me I
00:01:37 00:01:40 get it

00:01:40 00:01:44 same way as well guys we all want to
00:01:42 00:01:46 make money but the thing is what you
00:01:44 00:01:48 have to understand is if you're trying
00:01:46 00:01:50 to scale a business quickly and actually
00:01:48 00:01:52 have lifelong customers you have to
00:01:50 00:01:55 start thinking and putting your
00:01:52 00:01:56 customers first and I know sometimes
00:01:55 00:01:58 it's difficult if you're maybe in a
00:01:56 00:01:59 financial situation where you just need
00:01:58 00:02:00 to make money quick alright you just
00:01:59 00:02:02 need to make money quick you want to
00:02:00 00:02:03 quit your job you have these things that
00:02:02 00:02:07 you want to do but I promise you with
00:02:03 00:02:09 you start focusing on creating solutions
00:02:07 00:02:12 for your customers problems you will
00:02:09 00:02:13 grow your business faster now what does
00:02:12 00:02:17 that mean create solutions
00:02:13 00:02:18 for my customers problems while guys to
00:02:17 00:02:21 even make this happen is you have to be
00:02:18 00:02:23 in a niche that you enjoy right so let's
00:02:21 00:02:24 say it's fishing for example right
00:02:23 00:02:27 because that's what businesses I've been
00:02:24 00:02:28 is fishing right now you're in it was
00:02:27 00:02:30 similar in each as well now you have to
00:02:28 00:02:32 think what problems does that niche have
00:02:30 00:02:34 what problems is the fishing to chat and
00:02:32 00:02:34 how can I help those people out all
00:02:34 00:02:37 right
00:02:34 00:02:38 so for us it's like oh how can we how
00:02:37 00:02:40 can we help them catch more fish how can
00:02:38 00:02:41 we catch them bigger fish how can we
00:02:40 00:02:43 make sure that they always know what
00:02:41 00:02:45 what know what fishing were to use
00:02:43 00:02:46 during what time of year and what type
00:02:45 00:02:48 of weather is outside right now we
00:02:46 00:02:50 bundle those kind of things together and
00:02:48 00:02:52 these kind of information products with
00:02:50 00:02:55 our physical products to increase our
00:02:52 00:02:57 conversions right your customers when
00:02:55 00:03:00 you do these kind of things will feel so
00:02:57 00:03:01 much more value from you than any one of
00:03:00 00:03:04 your competitors and it will always
00:03:01 00:03:06 always always buy from you every day of
00:03:04 00:03:07 the week and you have to confidently say
00:03:06 00:03:10 that you need to be to the point guys
00:03:07 00:03:12 with your products where you feel like
00:03:10 00:03:15 your customers are getting a disservice
00:03:12 00:03:16 if they buy from anyone else but you
00:03:15 00:03:19 that's extremely me I'm extremely
00:03:16 00:03:21 important to understand okay I wish I
00:03:19 00:03:23 could have told myself that sooner guys
00:03:21 00:03:26 if you really just take that one concept
00:03:23 00:03:28 and focus on creating solutions for your
00:03:26 00:03:30 customers and your niches problems you
00:03:28 00:03:33 there's no way you can't grow a business
00:03:30 00:03:36 there's no way you can't okay
00:03:33 00:03:38 now the second thing that I wish I could
00:03:36 00:03:41 tell myself sooner on is to start using
00:03:38 00:03:44 sales funnels as opposed to store fronts
00:03:41 00:03:45 or Amazon FBA guys here's the problem
00:03:44 00:03:47 when you're using these kind of store
00:03:45 00:03:50 fronts or relying on Amazon FBA right
00:03:47 00:03:52 now think about it guys your maximum
00:03:50 00:03:54 cart value right the maximum amount of
00:03:52 00:03:56 money somebody can spend from you if you
00:03:54 00:03:58 sell your products on Amazon FBA let's
00:03:56 00:04:00 say you're selling a $14 you know
00:03:58 00:04:02 fishing lure or fishing rod or whatever
00:04:00 00:04:04 let's say you're spending $14 right the
00:04:02 00:04:06 maximum money you can make on that
00:04:04 00:04:08 product that you're selling Amazon is 14
00:04:06 00:04:11 dollars there's nothing you could do to
00:04:08 00:04:12 increase that average cart value right
00:04:11 00:04:14 yeah you could have so frequently bought
00:04:12 00:04:15 together items but that is completely
00:04:14 00:04:17 controlled on Amazon by Amazon you have
00:04:15 00:04:20 no choice in that matter you will only
00:04:17 00:04:21 have a maximum cart value of $14 maybe
00:04:20 00:04:23 some people will buy more than one
00:04:21 00:04:26 that's great but your maximum cart
00:04:23 00:04:28 always one on that one brides $14
00:04:26 00:04:30 you can't scale a business that way you
00:04:28 00:04:33 have to start using a sales funnel where
00:04:30 00:04:35 you guide your customers where you as
00:04:33 00:04:37 the business owner or making the most
00:04:35 00:04:38 amount of money as possible and also
00:04:37 00:04:41 providing your customers with the best
00:04:38 00:04:43 possible user experience right and
00:04:41 00:04:45 helping them solve those problems now
00:04:43 00:04:46 with the sales funnel right we can take
00:04:45 00:04:48 that same exact product that we sell on
00:04:46 00:04:50 a Shopify store or an Amazon FBA
00:04:48 00:04:52 business right we do a lot of private
00:04:50 00:04:54 clients where are coming from these
00:04:52 00:04:55 places and we 10 extra sales literally
00:04:54 00:04:57 overnight because we plug it into a
00:04:55 00:05:00 funnel that is just selling let's say
00:04:57 00:05:02 that $14 fishing-rod then we upsell them
00:05:00 00:05:04 some fishing lures or a tackle box kit
00:05:02 00:05:07 or other fishing rods right taking that
00:05:04 00:05:09 $14 max cart value to probably 50 plus
00:05:07 00:05:10 dollars right and that's it this of
00:05:09 00:05:12 course there's gonna be much say yes or
00:05:10 00:05:15 no but your average cart value would
00:05:12 00:05:18 literally double triple if not quadruple
00:05:15 00:05:19 overnight the second you start putting
00:05:18 00:05:21 your products into a sales funnel and
00:05:19 00:05:23 this also goes for you that are selling
00:05:21 00:05:25 on these storefronts like Shopify or
00:05:23 00:05:27 WooCommerce or any of these places where
00:05:25 00:05:30 you have all of these products loaded
00:05:27 00:05:32 into into guys you're not building a
00:05:30 00:05:34 business that way a lot of you are think
00:05:32 00:05:36 that you're making progress in your
00:05:34 00:05:37 business because you keep testing more
00:05:36 00:05:39 and more products and testing more and
00:05:37 00:05:41 more advertisements that's not the
00:05:39 00:05:43 solution to the problems that you're
00:05:41 00:05:46 looking to solve guys what you need to
00:05:43 00:05:49 do is start focusing on one product
00:05:46 00:05:52 offer one solution that bundled together
00:05:49 00:05:54 is a solution to your niches problems
00:05:52 00:05:57 plugging that into the funnel and
00:05:54 00:06:00 guiding your customer through the entire
00:05:57 00:06:01 process I use this example once on this
00:06:00 00:06:05 channel I went and reviewed a Shopify
00:06:01 00:06:07 store it took me 8 clicks to be able to
00:06:05 00:06:09 buy from them 8 clicks and guess what
00:06:07 00:06:12 guys I didn't end up buying from them
00:06:09 00:06:14 and that company had no way of ever
00:06:12 00:06:15 contacting me again you can't build a
00:06:14 00:06:17 business like that guys
00:06:15 00:06:19 besides retargeting that caught that
00:06:17 00:06:19 company had no way to contact me ever
00:06:19 00:06:22 again
00:06:19 00:06:24 right no the moment somebody lands on
00:06:22 00:06:26 your on your funnel on your page
00:06:24 00:06:28 whatever you need to collect that lead
00:06:26 00:06:30 you need to collect that lead guys the
00:06:28 00:06:31 money is in the email list the money's
00:06:30 00:06:34 in your messenger buy list whatever you
00:06:31 00:06:36 have to grab there and create an asset
00:06:34 00:06:37 immediately when they land on your
00:06:36 00:06:39 funnel and that's what a sales tool
00:06:37 00:06:40 allows you to do within
00:06:39 00:06:42 so you're gonna be able to create an
00:06:40 00:06:44 asset for your business I create getting
00:06:42 00:06:46 an email address getting a message about
00:06:44 00:06:48 opt-in and then second click that they
00:06:46 00:06:50 get is them buying within two clicks
00:06:48 00:06:53 right within two clicks you've already
00:06:50 00:06:56 making three times as much money as if
00:06:53 00:06:57 on a Shopify store Amazon FBA right and

00:07:35 00:07:38 kind of a little different and it's
00:07:36 00:07:40 something I wish it's gonna be hard for
00:07:38 00:07:41 a lot of you guys to face this one it's
00:07:40 00:07:43 still hard for me to face this one but I
00:07:41 00:07:45 think it's really important that so I
00:07:43 00:07:47 saved it for last it's not being tied
00:07:45 00:07:49 emotionally to the results that you get
00:07:47 00:07:52 in life and business and whatever this
00:07:49 00:07:54 is extremely self sabotaging for a lot
00:07:52 00:07:55 of you guys because you let's say one
00:07:54 00:07:57 day you launch some new ads and you
00:07:55 00:07:59 don't see sales within the first day or
00:07:57 00:08:01 two you feel like you did something
00:07:59 00:08:02 wrong when that's not necessarily the
00:08:01 00:08:05 case guys right that's not necessarily
00:08:02 00:08:06 the case sometimes it could be the data
00:08:05 00:08:09 that you have to look at to pinpoint
00:08:06 00:08:11 where the problem might lie right not
00:08:09 00:08:14 tying your emotions to the to the
00:08:11 00:08:16 results that you get and instead looking
00:08:14 00:08:19 at the data and letting that data tell
00:08:16 00:08:20 you where the problem is this is why the
00:08:19 00:08:22 funnels are so nice guys is because you
00:08:20 00:08:24 could find every step of the way
00:08:22 00:08:26 here's my conversion area on my own my
00:08:24 00:08:27 opt-in page my sales page here's my
00:08:26 00:08:29 conversion rate on my order form here
00:08:27 00:08:30 are my conversions on my upsells right
00:08:29 00:08:32 and you can really pinpoint okay well
00:08:30 00:08:34 where's where's the bottleneck in my
00:08:32 00:08:37 business and locating it looking at that
00:08:34 00:08:39 as such where it's not necessarily oh
00:08:37 00:08:41 you know what like I'm doing something
00:08:39 00:08:43 wrong or or the products better no
00:08:41 00:08:44 usually guys it's not the product that's
00:08:43 00:08:46 bad right you're usually whatever
00:08:44 00:08:48 whatever mechanism that you're selling
00:08:46 00:08:49 it on is is bad okay
00:08:48 00:08:53 so start taking the results that you get
00:08:49 00:08:55 as is based just purely as data
00:08:53 00:08:57 are just data that you look at right
00:08:55 00:08:59 iterate off of it and it's basically
00:08:57 00:09:01 just like a never ending food feedback
00:08:59 00:09:03 loop that you keep iterating through and
00:09:01 00:09:06 eventually getting to the point where
00:09:03 00:09:08 you have a functioning control right
00:09:06 00:09:11 that is bringing you in sales okay
00:09:08 00:09:12 so don't take it necessarily as an
00:09:11 00:09:15 emotion like you're doing something
00:09:12 00:09:17 wrong right take it as data learn from
00:09:15 00:09:18 it learn from these obstacles learn from
00:09:17 00:09:20 these these issues that you roadblocks
00:09:18 00:09:22 that you face along the way but try not
00:09:20 00:09:25 to emotionally tie yourself I know it's
00:09:22 00:09:26 difficult but really really really try
00:09:25 00:09:28 this I know when I was first getting
00:09:26 00:09:30 started in online business I thought
00:09:28 00:09:31 that it was everything was my fault oh
00:09:30 00:09:32 and I was only just like being so
00:09:31 00:09:35 emotionally tied to it where I was this
00:09:32 00:09:36 foggy like I didn't even know what what
00:09:35 00:09:38 I should be doing next because I was so
00:09:36 00:09:40 like upset that I wasn't making sales or
00:09:38 00:09:43 my life wasn't changing as fast as as I
00:09:40 00:09:46 wanted it to be right and when I started
00:09:43 00:09:48 focusing it on things as data and only
00:09:46 00:09:49 looking at things as data even if the
00:09:48 00:09:51 results are bad or good there is no
00:09:49 00:09:54 manner of good guys in my book right
00:09:51 00:09:56 there is no yes or no right it's simply
00:09:54 00:09:58 data that I then take and then look at
00:09:56 00:10:00 it it from like a more a data-driven
00:09:58 00:10:03 perspective and make the adjustments
