00:01:05 00:01:09 started and drop shipping and I kind of
00:01:07 00:01:10 want to you know overlay this and I hope
00:01:09 00:01:13 you don't mind overlays with a little
00:01:10 00:01:15 bit of a story and why drop shipping is
00:01:13 00:01:17 is important right and why drop shooting
00:01:15 00:01:19 is a good business model to get into for
00:01:17 00:01:20 the indefinite future in my opinion so
00:01:19 00:01:22 when I was getting started with
00:01:20 00:01:24 e-commerce I really first got started
00:01:22 00:01:26 with Amazon FBA right and if you guys
00:01:24 00:01:27 don't know what Amazon FBA is it kind of
00:01:26 00:01:29 sounds like the greatest thing since
00:01:27 00:01:30 sliced bread it's actually used you
00:01:29 00:01:33 source a bunch of inventory from China
00:01:30 00:01:35 from a supplier and an amazon packs it
00:01:33 00:01:37 for you ships it for you basically gets
00:01:35 00:01:39 customers for you it does all everything
00:01:37 00:01:40 for you right it sounds amazing enough
00:01:39 00:01:43 to touch anything
00:01:40 00:01:45 right and you just get money right and I
00:01:43 00:01:47 started my business that way you know I
00:01:45 00:01:49 invested about ten thousand dollars in
00:01:47 00:01:51 the inventory you know we the business
00:01:49 00:01:52 was doing amazingly well we were doing
00:01:51 00:01:55 fifty to eighty thousand dollars a month
00:01:52 00:01:57 in sales at its peak but then you know
00:01:55 00:01:58 all of a sudden you know a competitor
00:01:57 00:02:02 came to my listing they said hey you
00:01:58 00:02:03 know what they made false IP claims so
00:02:02 00:02:05 basically any one of you like watching
00:02:03 00:02:06 this then you can do this too it's crazy
00:02:05 00:02:09 you could go to any listing on Amazon
00:02:06 00:02:11 and just say hey you're infringing on a
00:02:09 00:02:13 copyright which is just insane and right
00:02:11 00:02:14 in Amazon they don't like look through
00:02:13 00:02:16 these and details right there not a
00:02:14 00:02:17 legal company they don't care right
00:02:16 00:02:18 they're just ban you right then they
00:02:17 00:02:20 take that off and then they make you
00:02:18 00:02:21 deal with the seller and that's actually
00:02:20 00:02:23 what happened to me and my business I
00:02:21 00:02:25 was on five products on Amazon at the
00:02:23 00:02:27 time and in the blink of an eye
00:02:25 00:02:29 overnight within a couple minutes all of
00:02:27 00:02:31 my Amazon listings were suppressed I'd
00:02:29 00:02:32 literally had no business whatsoever and
00:02:31 00:02:35 I started made the realization that's
00:02:32 00:02:36 like I tell you guys right Amazon FBA
00:02:35 00:02:39 it's awesome right it's a great sales
00:02:36 00:02:41 channel but do not just sell on Amazon
00:02:39 00:02:42 right you want to make sure you you
00:02:41 00:02:45 control the customers right with with
00:02:42 00:02:46 Amazon that business dude like I had no
00:02:45 00:02:48 customer list
00:02:46 00:02:49 I had no emails I had no way to contact
00:02:48 00:02:51 my customers like it was basically like
00:02:49 00:02:52 they came to I was under I go that
00:02:51 00:02:54 business isn't there anymore if they
00:02:52 00:02:55 even said that there whatever who cares
00:02:54 00:02:58 they just bought it from from somebody
00:02:55 00:03:00 else right and then after I got done
00:02:58 00:03:02 with that business I started learning
00:03:00 00:03:04 about drop shipping and and dropped you
00:03:02 00:03:05 guys don't know essentially you're a
00:03:04 00:03:08 middleman between your supplier and your
00:03:05 00:03:10 customer right you you your supplier
00:03:08 00:03:12 handles the the whole fulfillment
00:03:10 00:03:14 process for you shipping it for you it's
00:03:12 00:03:15 really low cost low risk because as a
00:03:14 00:03:17 customer buys from you then you tell
00:03:15 00:03:19 your supplier to ship it I'll ship it to
00:03:17 00:03:20 them right so it's a very simple a
00:03:19 00:03:22 simple business Bob do you have anything
00:03:20 00:03:24 you want to add cuz I just kind of
00:03:22 00:03:25 toked for like three four minutes and I
00:03:24 00:03:28 didn't even get to like give you a
00:03:25 00:03:30 proper introduction so this is Ali who's

00:04:01 00:04:07 really bad experience as well and mine
00:04:04 00:04:09 had to do with Shopify so when I came
00:04:07 00:04:13 across this kind of drop shipping world
00:04:09 00:04:15 the only like I hadn't come across you
00:04:13 00:04:17 in the way that you teach it so the only
00:04:15 00:04:19 way that I knew how to drop ship was
00:04:17 00:04:21 through Shopify stores how much money
00:04:19 00:04:22 did you have when you started this is
00:04:21 00:04:23 like how much did you want a budget cuz
00:04:22 00:04:25 I knew there's gonna be a lot of you
00:04:23 00:04:26 that are just getting started in here
00:04:25 00:04:28 that want to know
00:04:26 00:04:29 we're gonna get into stay for through
00:04:28 00:04:31 the whole video we're gonna be going a
00:04:29 00:04:32 tizzy like how much of a budget you need
00:04:31 00:04:34 to maintain but I just wanna give you
00:04:32 00:04:35 guys some perspective of like if your
00:04:34 00:04:37 example like how much did you need when
00:04:35 00:04:39 you were getting started so when I was
00:04:37 00:04:41 getting started I was not given the
00:04:39 00:04:44 right information and I had about I
00:04:41 00:04:46 thought like having like a hundred two
00:04:44 00:04:49 hundred dollars for everything to pay
00:04:46 00:04:51 for the software to pay for ads to pay
00:04:49 00:04:53 for testing was enough and that's how
00:04:51 00:04:55 much I would invest and every time I put
00:04:53 00:04:58 in a hundred dollars on a product that I
00:04:55 00:05:01 thought was going to win I kind of lost
00:04:58 00:05:02 it every single time and I kind of told
00:05:01 00:05:05 myself that it was the product that
00:05:02 00:05:06 didn't work but I you know later I
00:05:05 00:05:09 realized that I didn't have the right
00:05:06 00:05:12 mentality when it came to knowing how
00:05:09 00:05:13 much I'm going to spend not the
00:05:12 00:05:15 marketing was the different thing but I
00:05:13 00:05:17 didn't even have the right information
00:05:15 00:05:20 in terms of how much I needed to have
00:05:17 00:05:21 saved to do it properly right so I I
00:05:20 00:05:24 would have like a hundred two hundred
00:05:21 00:05:28 dollars I'll put in the side to you know
00:05:24 00:05:32 test to buy ads to set up stores to test
00:05:28 00:05:34 products and whatnot so how did that
00:05:32 00:05:36 experience kind of go for you when you
00:05:34 00:05:38 because you got started with with the
00:05:36 00:05:39 Shopify space right and for those of you
00:05:38 00:05:42 wondering yes I am actually sitting on a
00:05:39 00:05:46 desk right now because I'm Way too tall
00:05:42 00:05:48 so you know like when you got started
00:05:46 00:05:49 with Shopify you had that $200 that you
00:05:48 00:05:51 started that business with and and guys
00:05:49 00:05:53 a lot of people you know in the in the
00:05:51 00:05:56 dropshipping space do usually recommend
00:05:53 00:05:57 going with a Shopify store and you know
00:05:56 00:06:00 we're gonna be diving into what tools
00:05:57 00:06:02 you need to be successful to make your
00:06:00 00:06:03 dropship being as easy as possible so
00:06:02 00:06:05 you could be up and running as quickly
00:06:03 00:06:07 as possible here shortly but kind of
00:06:05 00:06:08 like what was your when you started your
00:06:07 00:06:10 Shopify store like what did you feel
00:06:08 00:06:12 that you needed to get started right it
00:06:10 00:06:13 was there it okay you have the Shopify
00:06:12 00:06:15 applicant what else did you were you
00:06:13 00:06:18 spending your money on and kind of like
00:06:15 00:06:22 what were your results so with the
00:06:18 00:06:25 Shopify store I again I watched like
00:06:22 00:06:27 tutorials and stuff and I got a like
00:06:25 00:06:31 added a bunch of other apps like so I
00:06:27 00:06:34 had a pop-up app I remember I had
00:06:31 00:06:37 in-depth reviews app I remember I had
00:06:34 00:06:39 another separate email abandoned cart
00:06:37 00:06:43 app at one point I had the SMI
00:06:39 00:06:44 zap and myself I'd go 70 absolutely
00:06:43 00:06:46 you'll get we like they literally it
00:06:44 00:06:48 goes out of control everything was on a
00:06:46 00:06:50 free trial so I was like you know what
00:06:48 00:06:52 I'll make this money back I'll make this
00:06:50 00:06:53 money back it's like gamblers mentality
00:06:52 00:06:56 almost like you know what I'll make this
00:06:53 00:06:58 money back like these they're not they
00:06:56 00:06:59 know what they're you know these
00:06:58 00:07:01 software companies they know what
00:06:59 00:07:03 they're doing right they they you know
00:07:01 00:07:05 either there's a few apps I do recommend
00:07:03 00:07:08 because I think Shopify has its place
00:07:05 00:07:09 right in it in the e-commerce ecosystem
00:07:08 00:07:11 but I don't think it's a good solution
00:07:09 00:07:13 for somebody just getting started at
00:07:11 00:07:16 once - you know validate test ideas and
00:07:13 00:07:18 really start bringing in cash flow so
00:07:16 00:07:20 you launch your Shopify store and kind
00:07:18 00:07:22 of like give us a rundown look of how
00:07:20 00:07:23 how did things work out and then what
00:07:22 00:07:27 was your progression to what you're
00:07:23 00:07:30 doing now so with Shopify I knew that I
00:07:27 00:07:32 had a 100 200 dollars so that's not a
00:07:30 00:07:34 lot of budget so everybody in the space
00:07:32 00:07:37 was recommending if you don't have a lot
00:07:34 00:07:40 of budget go and try influencers and
00:07:37 00:07:43 stuff like that so I went for it and I
00:07:40 00:07:45 would spend you know 50 60 dollars on
00:07:43 00:07:48 influencer posts I would test mean pages
00:07:45 00:07:50 I would test all of these other posts
00:07:48 00:07:53 people did come on my Shopify store the
00:07:50 00:07:56 ads work right because you know
00:07:53 00:07:58 fortunately I kind of had the ad side
00:07:56 00:08:00 unlock a little bit not too much so I
00:07:58 00:08:02 would you know I would go on the
00:08:00 00:08:05 dashboard on Shopify and it shows you
00:08:02 00:08:07 how many people are on your site or I
00:08:05 00:08:08 don't remember I don't know if it was
00:08:07 00:08:10 Shopify Google Analytiks but I would sit
00:08:08 00:08:13 there the a door and I would sit and I
00:08:10 00:08:14 would see people coming on the website
00:08:13 00:08:19 has a card okay now the money is gonna
00:08:14 00:08:21 come in no sales flat see you see that
00:08:19 00:08:26 was frustrating I would send so much
00:08:21 00:08:27 traffic to the to the store and and then
00:08:26 00:08:28 when I got better at writing
00:08:27 00:08:32 descriptions and putting all of that
00:08:28 00:08:35 stuff in the store just didn't convert I
00:08:32 00:08:37 don't know what it was a sales even when
00:08:35 00:08:39 I was making sales I just couldn't rule
00:08:37 00:08:42 II cover the cost of the ads and the
00:08:39 00:08:45 product right but like when it came like
00:08:42 00:08:47 yeah I just couldn't with my Shopify
00:08:45 00:08:49 store when I was done running like let's
00:08:47 00:08:52 say an influencer shoutout if I was
00:08:49 00:08:52 running expensive shout outs $120 shout
00:08:52 00:08:57 outs
00:08:52 00:09:01 and at least expensive in my niche and I
00:08:57 00:09:01 would be in the I would be in the red
00:09:02 00:09:07 open-loop for you for yours right now
00:09:04 00:09:09 because you know a lot of people think
00:09:07 00:09:10 in videos like this they're gonna be
00:09:09 00:09:11 like oh we're telling you to go shop why
00:09:10 00:09:13 we're gonna give you like because a lot
00:09:11 00:09:15 of them are gonna be okay go download
00:09:13 00:09:18 these five apps get a Shopify store and
00:09:15 00:09:19 you're all ready to go when in fact
00:09:18 00:09:20 there's like a lot cheaper way so if
00:09:19 00:09:22 you're just thinking about getting
00:09:20 00:09:24 started with drop shipping in a business
00:09:22 00:09:26 as a business model hundred percent
00:09:24 00:09:28 understand that it does take money to
00:09:26 00:09:30 make money right you know anybody that
00:09:28 00:09:32 tells you otherwise is lying to you
00:09:30 00:09:34 however there is cost-effective ways to
00:09:32 00:09:37 get started so the software that we
00:09:34 00:09:40 actually use currently right now is is
00:09:37 00:09:41 clickfunnels now clickfunnels is a sales
00:09:40 00:09:44 funnel builder right it's basically a
00:09:41 00:09:46 replacement for your website right and a
00:09:44 00:09:47 sales funnel if you don't know what it
00:09:46 00:09:50 is well might put up a cool infographic
00:09:47 00:09:52 or well we show this is it's a very
00:09:50 00:09:54 guided process we're highlighting one
00:09:52 00:09:56 specific product one of your one of your
00:09:54 00:09:58 drop shipping products right let's say
00:09:56 00:09:59 you're selling fishing lures right I'll
00:09:58 00:10:01 be using that example because I'm not
00:09:59 00:10:03 ruining anybody's niche because it's my
00:10:01 00:10:05 niche and everybody I remember I shot I
00:10:03 00:10:06 did a video with niches and that's my
00:10:05 00:10:07 niche like that's whatever so we do
00:10:06 00:10:09 fishing right so you're selling a
00:10:07 00:10:10 fishing lure right instead of putting in
00:10:09 00:10:12 a Shopify store where there's gonna be a
00:10:10 00:10:13 million fishing lures for people to
00:10:12 00:10:16 choose from we only give them the option
00:10:13 00:10:17 to buy that one specific fishing lure on
00:10:16 00:10:19 our sales funnel right and that really
00:10:17 00:10:21 lets us be very targeted with our
00:10:19 00:10:24 advertisements with our influence or
00:10:21 00:10:26 posts but it also we can highlight all
00:10:24 00:10:28 the benefits that that customers gonna
00:10:26 00:10:30 get from buying from us and not
00:10:28 00:10:32 distracting them with a ton of buttons
00:10:30 00:10:33 or anything like that and the best part
00:10:32 00:10:36 about sales funnels is we can also add
00:10:33 00:10:38 in upsells right so you know like
00:10:36 00:10:39 McDonald's right we were just you know
00:10:38 00:10:40 we just heard that at the conference are
00:10:39 00:10:42 they do you want fries with that do you
00:10:40 00:10:45 want you know you want supersize right
00:10:42 00:10:46 whatever right those are upsells those
00:10:45 00:10:48 are ways that you're gonna increase the
00:10:46 00:10:49 revenue that your business is making
00:10:48 00:10:51 right and a lot of Shopify store Shopify
00:10:49 00:10:54 apps I actually allow you to do that
00:10:51 00:10:56 like post purchase like one-click right
00:10:54 00:10:57 they're gonna be charging you for the
00:10:56 00:10:58 software and then they're gonna be
00:10:57 00:11:00 taking a portion of your profits all
00:10:58 00:11:01 right with a sales funnel specifically
00:11:00 00:11:02 with click funnels what we use they
00:11:01 00:11:05 don't take any or money it's a flat fee
00:11:02 00:11:06 of $97 a month that's all you need right
00:11:05 00:11:07 I know some of you are like
00:11:06 00:11:09 ninety-seven dollars a month that's like
00:11:07 00:11:10 ridiculous I can't I can't spend night
00:11:09 00:11:12 that's it's the only tool you need you
00:11:10 00:11:13 have your email marketing you can do
00:11:12 00:11:15 from there the basic email marketing
00:11:13 00:11:17 stuff you have your upsells you can do
00:11:15 00:11:18 you don't need any other apps besides
00:11:17 00:11:21 click phones I proved it this on this

00:11:52 00:11:56 like six six seven hundred dollars in a
00:11:54 00:11:59 day and that's when he started using
00:11:56 00:12:01 sales funnels for for his businesses
00:11:59 00:12:02 specifically click funnels so just to
00:12:01 00:12:03 kind of give people perspective because
00:12:02 00:12:05 there's gonna be people that are like
00:12:03 00:12:06 you know completely new when you cuz did
00:12:05 00:12:08 you get stiker shock because I know a
00:12:06 00:12:10 lot of people are like oh man $97 when I
00:12:08 00:12:11 don't do this but then when you look at
00:12:10 00:12:14 your Shopify stores really well you're
00:12:11 00:12:15 spending like $300 a month a month here
00:12:14 00:12:17 but it doesn't feel like that because
00:12:15 00:12:19 all of these tools are like oh it's only
00:12:17 00:12:21 two dollars a month 3i but all those
00:12:19 00:12:22 things they do add up right so I'm
00:12:21 00:12:24 curious to see like what was your
00:12:22 00:12:26 transition did you kind of shut your
00:12:24 00:12:28 Shopify store down get rid of all those
00:12:26 00:12:30 apps and then just go all in on funnels
00:12:28 00:12:33 or did how did you kind of start testing
00:12:30 00:12:36 that so I was I was testing this one
00:12:33 00:12:38 product and I left my Shopify store on I
00:12:36 00:12:41 was just I was just kind of frustrated
00:12:38 00:12:43 with Shopify my Shopify store at least
00:12:41 00:12:45 and I just left it on just so that they
00:12:43 00:12:47 could whatever I didn't want to go to
00:12:45 00:12:49 the hassle of shutting it off or
00:12:47 00:12:53 whatever I was too lazy so I put up a
00:12:49 00:12:55 funnel for it I use the 14-day free
00:12:53 00:12:57 trial for click funnels and I put the
00:12:55 00:12:59 funnel for the same product as my
00:12:57 00:13:01 Shopify store I in fact tried to make it
00:12:59 00:13:05 look like a store but I removed all of
00:13:01 00:13:07 the distractions from it to mention is
00:13:05 00:13:09 also that you can make these funnels
00:13:07 00:13:12 look however you want right you have
00:13:09 00:13:13 full control of your business you're not
00:13:12 00:13:14 you don't need a bunch of themes or
00:13:13 00:13:16 anything like that like where you have
00:13:14 00:13:19 to pay even more stuff like you can make
00:13:16 00:13:19 it look however you like and um and on
00:13:19 00:13:22 my
00:13:19 00:13:24 I was sending traffic I was sending
00:13:22 00:13:27 influence or traffic every single day on
00:13:24 00:13:32 my Shopify store I would convert at one
00:13:27 00:13:35 percent bless on days and on my Shopify
00:13:32 00:13:37 store granted my offer wasn't great but
00:13:35 00:13:40 like that conversion rate went to ten
00:13:37 00:13:43 fifteen percent sealed right from one to
00:13:40 00:13:45 fifteen and then that's when I truly
00:13:43 00:13:52 started seeing some margin coming like
00:13:45 00:13:53 there was money coming in my back a
00:13:52 00:13:55 hundred people I like out of a hundred
00:13:53 00:13:57 people one person bought my Shopify
00:13:55 00:13:59 store and 10 to 15 people bought for my
00:13:57 00:14:01 funnel but it makes a difference because
00:13:59 00:14:05 that's amping let's say my product was
00:14:01 00:14:08 about thirty bucks right and I'm paying
00:14:05 00:14:11 an influencer a hundred to promote right
00:14:08 00:14:12 I need three sales plus a little bit
00:14:11 00:14:15 extra to cover the cost of the product
00:14:12 00:14:18 correct I wouldn't cover the cost of the
00:14:15 00:14:20 product but with a funnel yeah I get ten
00:14:18 00:14:22 sales three to cover the cost of the
00:14:20 00:14:26 product to cover the cost of the ad now
00:14:22 00:14:28 a five that's money yeah and we didn't
00:14:26 00:14:30 even get to the upsells because then my
00:14:28 00:14:33 upsells granted back in the day I I
00:14:30 00:14:35 wasn't completely immerse okay I just
00:14:33 00:14:39 threw it up after seeing your challenge
00:14:35 00:14:42 but when we started adding upsells and a
00:14:39 00:14:43 continuity program like that just like

00:15:44 00:15:48 product that you're gonna be selling to
00:15:46 00:15:49 a niche group of people but you also
00:15:48 00:15:52 need to make sure the mechanism that
00:15:49 00:15:52 you're using is is its profitable for
00:15:52 00:15:54 you because a lot of people think like
00:15:52 00:15:55 oh with the shop price or even though
00:15:54 00:15:57 they're making sales on this product
00:15:55 00:15:59 those so-called a loser because it's not
00:15:57 00:16:01 enough sales right they'll be like oh
00:15:59 00:16:03 it's not enough sales but that's not the
00:16:01 00:16:05 case it's like how about you monetize
00:16:03 00:16:08 those sales that you are getting better
00:16:05 00:16:09 right and then turn it profitable that
00:16:08 00:16:11 way and that's what the funnel allows
00:16:09 00:16:12 you to do at all like we're toking
00:16:11 00:16:13 about continuity now I'm just gonna tok
00:16:12 00:16:16 you know speak about that like
00:16:13 00:16:18 continuity it comes built into
00:16:16 00:16:19 clickfunnels already so basically you
00:16:18 00:16:21 could put people on a monthly
00:16:19 00:16:23 reoccurring payment plan where they pay

00:16:28 00:16:32 continuity and how I really like started
00:16:30 00:16:34 doing this so I remember when I was
00:16:32 00:16:37 living you know I was you know in the
00:16:34 00:16:39 older house that I was at and I remember
00:16:37 00:16:41 going outside well then this was when I
00:16:39 00:16:42 was like getting started with my fishing
00:16:41 00:16:44 business and I went outside to get the
00:16:42 00:16:46 mail one day and I saw like you know my
00:16:44 00:16:49 girlfriend at the time wife now had just
00:16:46 00:16:52 gotten a I think it was like what was
00:16:49 00:16:53 that big makeup one birch box was that
00:16:52 00:16:55 it was that and this is when
00:16:53 00:16:57 subscription was like so kind of like
00:16:55 00:16:59 like not everyone was doing it wasn't
00:16:57 00:17:01 like fabfitfun was around then I think
00:16:59 00:17:03 Dollar Shave Club was around then but
00:17:01 00:17:05 like you know with you know a lot of the
00:17:03 00:17:07 big ones weren't in existence and I like
00:17:05 00:17:08 picked it up and I was like crap look
00:17:07 00:17:10 why why are we not doing something like
00:17:08 00:17:11 this isn't that hard to pull off right
00:17:10 00:17:13 they're just putting a bunch of samples
00:17:11 00:17:14 in these boxes and sending it to
00:17:13 00:17:16 customers and I was like oh my god let's
00:17:14 00:17:17 go see you like can this be done and
00:17:16 00:17:19 that's when we started you know putting
00:17:17 00:17:20 in these continuity pieces into our
00:17:19 00:17:22 funnels and you could do this right
00:17:20 00:17:23 inside the funnel with in one click and
00:17:22 00:17:25 I think a lot of people miss that
00:17:23 00:17:27 because a lot of people would Shopify
00:17:25 00:17:29 and one of you guys might be coming
00:17:27 00:17:31 hanging on this wall I could have
00:17:29 00:17:33 funnels inside Shopify well a lot of the
00:17:31 00:17:36 funnels really the only one I see that
00:17:33 00:17:38 has post purchase upsell capabilities
00:17:36 00:17:40 there's a few out there but like the one
00:17:38 00:17:42 that I've used and I still recommend
00:17:40 00:17:44 using in a shop Pfizer in conjunction of
00:17:42 00:17:47 the funnel is the zip if I you know one
00:17:44 00:17:50 click up so I do recommend having that
00:17:47 00:17:52 but it comes it's also expensive I think
00:17:50 00:17:55 it's like $50 a month plus they take
00:17:52 00:17:56 like three percent of your money which
00:17:55 00:17:58 is ridiculous but it's still worth
00:17:56 00:18:01 having right but it's not gonna save
00:17:58 00:18:04 your store right any means right but a
00:18:01 00:18:06 lot of people do you know the the apps
00:18:04 00:18:08 where it's like ah it's they upsell
00:18:06 00:18:09 before you get to your cart page right
00:18:08 00:18:10 or before you get to the checkout page
00:18:09 00:18:12 which is terrible
00:18:10 00:18:14 all right guys because by the time they
00:18:12 00:18:15 let's say you they addict prior to the
00:18:14 00:18:17 cart and then you're like oh well how
00:18:15 00:18:18 about this this this is and they're like
00:18:17 00:18:20 yes yes yes yes and then they get to the
00:18:18 00:18:21 car page and they're like well I ain't
00:18:20 00:18:22 buying all this right and then they're
00:18:21 00:18:24 gone right that's why I lighter your
00:18:22 00:18:26 conversion sock right so with it with
00:18:24 00:18:27 the funnel right they buy the product
00:18:26 00:18:29 then you get presented the upsell which
00:18:27 00:18:31 is one click where I take dis click yes
00:18:29 00:18:33 and they automatikally get billed
00:18:31 00:18:35 there's no cart that carts don't exist
00:18:33 00:18:36 in funnels right it's it's a sales
00:18:35 00:18:38 process it's like when you go into a
00:18:36 00:18:40 Best Buy store it's funny one of my
00:18:38 00:18:42 first job was at Circuit City and the
00:18:40 00:18:43 guys always like at the TV place and
00:18:42 00:18:44 always made the most money because they
00:18:43 00:18:46 were on pure Commission so when a
00:18:44 00:18:47 customer come into the store and they
00:18:46 00:18:49 want a new TV they're like okay well
00:18:47 00:18:50 yeah what kind TV you want okay boom oh
00:18:49 00:18:52 you want this universal remote okay cool
00:18:50 00:18:53 how about the blu-ray player right and
00:18:52 00:18:55 then how about the warranties how about
00:18:53 00:18:57 all this and it's like all happening at
00:18:55 00:18:59 the point of purchase after the customer
00:18:57 00:19:01 has already been taking to the you know
00:18:59 00:19:02 the cash register right oh you want the
00:19:01 00:19:05 warranty and how about all these other
00:19:02 00:19:06 things right oh do want the delivery do
00:19:05 00:19:08 you want to install oh how about a wall
00:19:06 00:19:09 Matt you have a wall mount at home right
00:19:08 00:19:11 like all those things and this is what
00:19:09 00:19:12 the funnel allows you to do it's like a
00:19:11 00:19:14 whole different mindset shift of how you
00:19:12 00:19:16 sell products where it's not like let's
00:19:14 00:19:18 just load up a store with a bunch of
00:19:16 00:19:21 random random products two random niches
00:19:18 00:19:23 and random variables and hoping people
00:19:21 00:19:25 buy from us instead being like take the
00:19:23 00:19:27 easy way out guys that's why I want you
00:19:25 00:19:29 guys to be successful into 2020 and 2030
00:19:27 00:19:33 and 40 right is like just pick one
00:19:29 00:19:34 really good selling product right plug
00:19:33 00:19:37 it into a funnel and focus on getting
00:19:34 00:19:40 and optimizing that specific product and
00:19:37 00:19:42 all you need to start your business is a
00:19:40 00:19:45 click funnels account the only other
00:19:42 00:19:48 expenses I can I see when getting
00:19:45 00:19:48 started is going to be like a domain and
00:19:48 00:19:50 you don't even need one coz click
00:19:48 00:19:53 funnels gives you a domain I actually
00:19:50 00:19:55 did the challenge on on the free domain
00:19:53 00:19:57 but I did buy a business email address
00:19:55 00:19:58 and that's like a dollar a month right
00:19:57 00:19:59 I'm pretty sure you can get it like for
00:19:58 00:20:01 free if you use like you know
00:19:59 00:20:03 google domain if you buy your domain
00:20:01 00:20:04 from Google I always use GoDaddy
00:20:03 00:20:07 personally though but what other what
00:20:04 00:20:08 other expenses do you see necessary
00:20:07 00:20:11 right because we have clickfunnels which
00:20:08 00:20:12 is 97 a month plus domain and a domain
00:20:11 00:20:14 email address to you know support email
00:20:12 00:20:17 address so you're not using and you look
00:20:14 00:20:18 more legit instead of using a gmail one
00:20:17 00:20:21 of those are expenses do you think
00:20:18 00:20:24 people needs a budget so this depends on
00:20:21 00:20:26 where you were at if you're somebody who
00:20:24 00:20:29 like I would never there's some cost
00:20:26 00:20:31 that I would never recommend you get
00:20:29 00:20:32 stuck with for example I would pay
00:20:31 00:20:35 somebody to take really good photos of
00:20:32 00:20:37 my products and so that so because I've
00:20:35 00:20:38 seen that the follow converts better
00:20:37 00:20:49 with that but it's not something that
00:20:38 00:20:53 you need to put in it's not like you
00:20:49 00:20:56 needed this product no yeah right so you
00:20:53 00:20:58 know you can leverage you know you can
00:20:56 00:21:00 leverage you know you know graphic
00:20:58 00:21:02 design people to make things look good
00:21:00 00:21:03 right you can yeah you might have to
00:21:02 00:21:05 send them your product to kind of like
00:21:03 00:21:07 take it really and take nice pictures
00:21:05 00:21:10 but so what did you do you actually
00:21:07 00:21:13 hired somebody to take you take you good
00:21:10 00:21:15 so I found influencer on Instagram and
00:21:13 00:21:17 this thing for once I hadn't blown up
00:21:15 00:21:19 too much so I just sent the person the
00:21:17 00:21:21 product and then send them like $20 to
00:21:19 00:21:23 give me like five to six really good
00:21:21 00:21:25 photos of the product and the influencer
00:21:23 00:21:28 being used in the lifestyle situation
00:21:25 00:21:30 the way that you tell us to do so
00:21:28 00:21:32 because it works and so that's like
00:21:30 00:21:34 let's say that's 20 bucks right I'm just
00:21:32 00:21:38 trying to consider all of the costs that
00:21:34 00:21:39 go into it and then once your funnel is
00:21:38 00:21:43 done I don't think there is anything
00:21:39 00:21:45 else you need besides email which you
00:21:43 00:21:48 know cuz yeah you you should have like a
00:21:45 00:21:50 good support domain and stuff like that
00:21:48 00:21:51 just so that because you should go into
00:21:50 00:21:53 the mindset of building a real business
00:21:51 00:21:59 right
00:21:53 00:22:01 and then traffic as far as tools go the
00:21:59 00:22:02 only thing you're gonna need and kind of
00:22:01 00:22:04 like you're running budget is gonna be a
00:22:02 00:22:07 click funnels count in $97 a month
00:22:04 00:22:08 domains and then you know that's about
00:22:07 00:22:10 like 10 12 bucks
00:22:08 00:22:13 and you'd it's not completely necessary
00:22:10 00:22:16 but also is going to be your biggest
00:22:13 00:22:18 is going to be traffic right now there's
00:22:16 00:22:20 you can go right into Facebook ads right
00:22:18 00:22:23 usually I recommend you have some money
00:22:20 00:22:25 to spare there at least a thousand bucks
00:22:23 00:22:28 two thousand bucks because you know
00:22:25 00:22:30 Facebook is a data-driven platform so
00:22:28 00:22:32 it's gonna want buyers right the more
00:22:30 00:22:34 buyers you have the more buyers Facebook
00:22:32 00:22:35 can identify in the Facebook ecosystem
00:22:34 00:22:37 the better they're gonna be able to
00:22:35 00:22:40 serve as other people that are like your
00:22:37 00:22:42 buyers as well so if you have the money
00:22:40 00:22:43 to spare right absolutely go with
00:22:42 00:22:45 Facebook Ads you'll see some quicker
00:22:43 00:22:48 results however one of the strategies
00:22:45 00:22:50 that we love using is is influencers
00:22:48 00:22:51 right using influencers and if you don't
00:22:50 00:22:53 know what an influencer is it's
00:22:51 00:22:54 essentially anybody it's not just
00:22:53 00:22:56 Instagram but a lot of people think it
00:22:54 00:22:57 says Instagram but anybody that has the
00:22:56 00:22:59 eyeballs of your perfect customer that
00:22:57 00:23:02 means people that own big email lists
00:22:59 00:23:04 YouTube channels blogs reddit groups
00:23:02 00:23:06 Facebook groups like anywhere where
00:23:04 00:23:08 there people are congregating online and
00:23:06 00:23:10 you could somehow place your product in
00:23:08 00:23:12 front of them so what do you think a
00:23:10 00:23:15 budget is for that and kind of like
00:23:12 00:23:16 what's your strategy for launching a
00:23:15 00:23:19 let's say you're launching a new product
00:23:16 00:23:19 today with with influencers how much do
00:23:19 00:23:22 you budget
00:23:19 00:23:24 so for influencer or marketing just to
00:23:22 00:23:28 kind of see results - for you to be able
00:23:24 00:23:30 to invest more in it I would keep a 250
00:23:28 00:23:35 to 500 dollars aside for influencer
00:23:30 00:23:36 marketing and now within our program we
00:23:35 00:23:38 teach them how to get influencer
00:23:36 00:23:39 shoutouts for free but just by sending
00:23:38 00:23:41 the product we have the scripts and
00:23:39 00:23:43 stuff like that there are ways that you
00:23:41 00:23:45 can get free shoutouts for sending the
00:23:43 00:23:48 product but if you want to get hit the
00:23:45 00:23:50 ground running you pay a flat rate and
00:23:48 00:23:52 then there's different ways to negotiate
00:23:50 00:23:54 that there are different influences you
00:23:52 00:23:57 should never overpay for your influence
00:23:54 00:23:58 or shoutouts because you know you need
00:23:57 00:24:01 to be able to calculate that looking at
00:23:58 00:24:05 engagement and whatnot but about I would
00:24:01 00:24:07 say 250 to 500 dollars and I pay like if
00:24:05 00:24:09 it's an if it's a real influencer if
00:24:07 00:24:12 it's a person and our mean page I've
00:24:09 00:24:14 averaged about you know anywhere from
00:24:12 00:24:17 thirty to sixty dollars per post if it's
00:24:14 00:24:18 a flat rate and if it's a decent-size
00:24:17 00:24:21 influencer and if it's a mean page I
00:24:18 00:24:23 usually end up paying lower because when
00:24:21 00:24:25 you're starting out you want you don't
00:24:23 00:24:27 want to hit like somebody with 607 a
00:24:25 00:24:30 thousand followers you can
00:24:27 00:24:32 want to stik to the 10,000 to 100,000
00:24:30 00:24:33 followers because those are more laser
00:24:32 00:24:36 targeted niches that you can follow so
00:24:33 00:24:38 when you use that pricing with that kind
00:24:36 00:24:40 of range of influencers I think 250 to
00:24:38 00:24:43 500 dollars gives you enough of a
00:24:40 00:24:44 testing cushion to see if you have a
00:24:43 00:24:47 converting funnel and a converting offer
00:24:44 00:24:49 100% and if you guys are interested in

00:26:40 00:26:43 Shopify business
00:26:41 00:26:44 honestly guys definitely if you're
00:26:43 00:26:46 thinking about starting a dropper to do
00:26:44 00:26:46 business in 2019 2020 whenever you're
00:26:46 00:26:48 watching this
00:26:46 00:26:50 100% do it it's the one of the best ways
00:26:48 00:26:52 to get started in business and just
00:26:50 00:26:54 build up cash flow so now real quick

00:27:11 00:27:15 customer right always order your own
00:27:13 00:27:16 products from your supplier do not sell
00:27:15 00:27:18 stuff to your customers if you're not
00:27:16 00:27:20 validating it that's so unethical how
00:27:18 00:27:22 would you like it doesn't make any sense
00:27:20 00:27:23 right and that's not a lot of people and
00:27:22 00:27:25 drop shipping right they're not real
00:27:23 00:27:26 business owners right a real business
00:27:25 00:27:28 owner they take pride in what they do
00:27:26 00:27:29 they would order their own products they
00:27:28 00:27:30 would take their own products they would
00:27:29 00:27:32 use their own products not just sell
00:27:30 00:27:34 random stuff to like pull one over
00:27:32 00:27:37 that's why a lot of people drops you
00:27:34 00:27:38 don't belong in it but once you start
00:27:37 00:27:40 building up some cash flow with your
00:27:38 00:27:42 drop shooting business the next step is
00:27:40 00:27:44 to really move towards a brand right
00:27:42 00:27:46 actually sourcing your products from
00:27:44 00:27:49 like you know a Chinese manufacturer or
00:27:46 00:27:51 a stateside manufacturer or wherever you
00:27:49 00:27:52 have manufacturers and branding it right
00:27:51 00:27:54 creating a real brand for yourself
00:27:52 00:27:55 something that's sellable for you in the
00:27:54 00:27:58 future right you're not necessarily
00:27:55 00:27:59 gonna be able to sell just a random drop
00:27:58 00:28:00 shipping business that doesn't have a
00:27:59 00:28:02 brand associated with it remember to
00:28:00 00:28:05 this right people when they buy
00:28:02 00:28:07 companies it's not always hey what's
00:28:05 00:28:09 your net profit right it's usually gonna
00:28:07 00:28:11 be hey what's the customer list right do
00:28:09 00:28:12 you have loyal customer following right
00:28:11 00:28:13 cuz that's where the real money is and
00:28:12 00:28:15 that's what actually a funnel allows you
00:28:13 00:28:17 to do because you're creating customers
00:28:15 00:28:18 quickly you're building up your email as
00:28:17 00:28:20 you're building up prospects really
00:28:18 00:28:21 really fast so keep that in the back
