Hey guys, it's Jake and in this video, I'll be showing you how to set up different collections inside of Shopify. We'll jump right into it and create three different collections - gaming, phone accessories, and gym stuff.

- Setting up collections in Shopify

Creating Collections:

- Access collections in Products tab

- Create a new collection

- Add a title and collection image

- Choose collection type: automated or manual

Automated Collection:

- Use conditions to automatically add products to collection

- Example: gaming products with keyword gaming

- New products with gaming keyword will also be added automatically

Manual Collection:

- Add products to collection manually

- Products won't be added automatically

Adding Collections to Home Page:

- Go to Online Store and select Themes

- Customize theme and add new sections

- Select collections to showcase on home page

- Creating collections helps customers browse related products easily

- Use automated collections for easy maintenance

- Add collections to home page for increased visibility

How to remove/delete tags in the product filter on Collection page in Shopify

4. Set the value to zero to exclude sold-out products

5. Click save and preview your store to see the changes

6. If sold-out products still appear on your catalog, go back to Products and create a new collection with conditions for product price and inventory stock

7. Set the values to greater than zero to include all products with pricing and stock

8. Go to your main menu and edit the catalog section to only show the new collection you created

9. Save your changes and preview your store to see the updates
