00:00:33 00:00:37 arbitrage business model and before we
00:00:35 00:00:38 get into those exact steps milo do you

00:00:38 00:00:43 your success using retail arbitrage in
00:00:41 00:00:44 the past definitely so retail arbitrage
00:00:43 00:00:46 can be very lucrative if you hop on the
00:00:44 00:00:47 right item so when i first started
00:00:46 00:00:49 selling on amazon i actually hopped in
00:00:47 00:00:52 on when patio heaters were super hot i
00:00:49 00:00:53 was buying them for 149 at home depot or
00:00:52 00:00:56 lowe's and selling them on amazon for
00:00:53 00:00:57 around 300. i saw the lead posting a
00:00:56 00:00:59 bolo group i took the lead and i ran
00:00:57 00:01:00 with it and i mean they were almost
00:00:59 00:01:02 instant sales as soon as you could get
00:01:00 00:01:03 them and post them it would sell the
00:01:02 00:01:05 same day so now that you know a little
00:01:03 00:01:07 bit more about our guest milo let's go
00:01:05 00:01:08 ahead and get into those exact steps
00:01:07 00:01:10 that you need to take so step number one
00:01:08 00:01:13 is you need to create your amazon seller
00:01:10 00:01:14 central account now this isn't an amazon
00:01:13 00:01:16 buying account you actually have to
00:01:14 00:01:17 create a separate account as a seller
00:01:16 00:01:19 now there's actually two different
00:01:17 00:01:21 seller plans you can select from there's
00:01:19 00:01:22 an individual seller plan which is free
00:01:21 00:01:24 and then there's a professional seller
00:01:22 00:01:26 plan which is 40 per month i'm not gonna
00:01:24 00:01:28 dive too deep into them but i would
00:01:26 00:01:29 recommend their professional seller plan
00:01:28 00:01:31 there's a couple more features and
00:01:29 00:01:32 benefits to selecting that plan that i
00:01:31 00:01:34 recommend for beginner sellers that
00:01:32 00:01:36 process is pretty smooth flowing
00:01:34 00:01:38 basically amazon just wants to identify
00:01:36 00:01:40 you and your address as a seller before
00:01:38 00:01:42 they allow you to sell on their platform
00:01:40 00:01:45 so that's step number one that leads us
00:01:42 00:01:47 to step number two which is product
00:01:45 00:01:48 research now while i have milo here i'm
00:01:47 00:01:51 gonna ask him a little bit more about
00:01:48 00:01:53 how he likes to do his product research
00:01:51 00:01:55 so milo obviously with the retail

00:02:05 00:02:09 get a lot of the quantity of seasonal
00:02:06 00:02:10 items so usually if you find a good lead
00:02:09 00:02:12 and you could really hop on that lead
00:02:10 00:02:13 and take huge advantage of it so milo is

00:02:15 00:02:19 with in the past like what the item was
00:02:17 00:02:21 where you were getting it what it was

00:02:23 00:02:27 flipping them on amazon for 300.

00:02:27 00:02:31 chlorine we was buying it for i believe
00:02:29 00:02:33 59 and i was actually flipping that for
00:02:31 00:02:35 around 160
00:02:33 00:02:37 a tub so obviously the first step of the

00:02:40 00:02:43 walmart and you know start scanning

00:02:45 00:02:48 in demand but you know a lot of people
00:02:46 00:02:49 struggle with product research or even

00:04:41 00:04:46 fba fulfillment by amazon and fbm
00:04:44 00:04:47 fulfilled by merchant milo do you want

00:04:47 00:04:52 those two and what's maybe work best for
00:04:50 00:04:53 you definitely so fulfillment by amazon
00:04:52 00:04:55 is pretty much once you have your item
00:04:53 00:04:56 or your product you would label it and
00:04:55 00:04:58 you would put it in a box and you'd send
00:04:56 00:04:59 it off to amazon once it gets to amazon
00:04:58 00:05:01 they'll take care of all the logistiks

00:05:01 00:05:04 another service called fulfilled by
00:05:03 00:05:05 merchant this is pretty much where you
00:05:04 00:05:07 do all the logistiks where once you find

00:05:09 00:05:12 yourself this service is perfect for
00:05:10 00:05:13 usually like a seasonal item if you have
00:05:12 00:05:15 a kind of a deadline when you need to
00:05:13 00:05:16 sell this product in a short amount of
00:05:15 00:05:18 time so you pretty much want to get it
00:05:16 00:05:20 listed and get it sold and get it out of
00:05:18 00:05:22 there as fast as possible so as far as
00:05:20 00:05:23 fba and fbm everyone's like okay carter
00:05:22 00:05:25 which one is gonna make me the most
00:05:23 00:05:27 money which one is the best and really
00:05:25 00:05:28 there's no right or wrong answer i feel
00:05:27 00:05:30 like it just comes down to the scenario
00:05:28 00:05:33 that fits you the best so that leads us
00:05:30 00:05:35 to step number four and that's what to
00:05:33 00:05:38 do after an item actually sells let's
00:05:35 00:05:42 say you found this book you listed it it
00:05:38 00:05:44 sold now what do you do now with fba
00:05:42 00:05:46 this is already at the amos on warehouse
00:05:44 00:05:47 after someone buys it amazon's going to
00:05:46 00:05:51 ship it to the customer the book guy
00:05:47 00:05:54 here as you can see he's got over 1300
00:05:51 00:05:56 merchant fulfilled books behind us milo
00:05:54 00:05:57 let's say you just sold this book what
00:05:56 00:05:59 is the process definitely so once the
00:05:57 00:06:01 book sells you would collect the book
00:05:59 00:06:02 and then you would pack it into whatever
00:06:01 00:06:04 if it's a poly miller it's a bubble
00:06:02 00:06:05 mailer and then you would go to your
00:06:04 00:06:07 manage orders you print out the shipping
00:06:05 00:06:08 label stik it on there and easy as
00:06:07 00:06:10 dropping it off at post office and
00:06:08 00:06:12 they'll get it right to your customer so
00:06:10 00:06:14 that brings us to step number five which
00:06:12 00:06:17 is basically just to repeat steps one
00:06:14 00:06:19 through four as often as you can what i
00:06:17 00:06:21 mean by this is if you want to make more
00:06:19 00:06:22 money in your amazon business well you
00:06:21 00:06:24 need to be doing more product research
00:06:22 00:06:26 you need to be buying more profitable

00:06:26 00:06:29 items on amazon and selling those items
