Published on: June 4 2023 by pipiads

In this video, Jake and his team are setting up and customizing the Tastetheme by Shopify, which is a free OS2.0 theme suitable for food and drink type of products. Before starting the customization process, Jake introduces the video's sponsor, Grow Wave, which is an all-in-one marketing platform for Shopify stores that includes reviews, loyalty programs, gift cards, a wishlist, social login, Instagram, and user-generated content.

To set up the Tastetheme, Jake suggests having the store's branding, logo, and color scheme ready. Also, products and collections should be added to the store before starting customization. The team starts by editing the announcement bar, header, and color scheme. Then they move on to edit the home page sections such as the first image with text, featured collection, and slideshow. They customize the slides, including editing the heading size, subheading, and adding buttons and links.

Throughout the video, Jake highlights the importance of mobile optimization and suggests checking the store's mobile version to ensure it is user-friendly. In conclusion, the Tastetheme is a great option for Shopify stores that sell food and drink products, and with the help of Grow Wave, store owners can easily market their products and improve customer experience.
