00:01:17 00:01:23 this store did roughly 400 000
00:01:19 00:01:24 yes this was 99.9 google ads only but
00:01:23 00:01:26 this is not important what's more
00:01:24 00:01:28 important is the product
00:01:26 00:01:30 which i'm about to reveal so let's go
00:01:28 00:01:31 and scroll down to see exactly what that
00:01:30 00:01:34 product is
00:01:31 00:01:37 and the product is none other than
00:01:34 00:01:37 the oxygen concentrator tank for
00:01:37 00:01:39 breathing and
00:01:37 00:01:42 as you can see during this time period

00:01:42 00:01:45 but this was one of the main winning
00:01:44 00:01:47 products for this store
00:01:45 00:01:49 which allowed me to generate such a big
00:01:47 00:01:51 amount of money within a short period of
00:01:49 00:01:52 time and you may be thinking but only
00:01:51 00:01:54 300 sold
00:01:52 00:01:57 why was i able to do roughly 400 000
00:01:54 00:01:57 dollars in sales with just 300 sold and
00:01:57 00:01:59 that's because
00:01:57 00:02:01 i also had other winning products during
00:01:59 00:02:03 this time period however as you can see
00:02:01 00:02:04 the next winning product had only 223
00:02:03 00:02:06 orders which is
00:02:04 00:02:08 much much less compared to what this
00:02:06 00:02:08 sold and another beauty about this
00:02:08 00:02:10 product
00:02:08 00:02:13 is that it was a high tiket product so
00:02:10 00:02:14 let's hop on over to now the shopify

00:02:14 00:02:17 for this product and this product is the
00:02:16 00:02:18 one that i'm toking about in this video

00:02:22 00:02:25 what was going on earlier this year and
00:02:24 00:02:26 you probably do know unless you live

00:02:26 00:02:30 but because of the lockdowns because of
00:02:28 00:02:32 what was going on in the world
00:02:30 00:02:34 this product became very high in demand
00:02:32 00:02:35 and luckily for me i found it at the
00:02:34 00:02:37 right time
00:02:35 00:02:39 and i was able to supply it to the
00:02:37 00:02:39 people that needed it during that time
00:02:39 00:02:41 period but
00:02:39 00:02:42 what we're going to do now is we're
00:02:41 00:02:43 going to go ahead and go on over to the

00:03:14 00:03:18 product while scrolling down through my
00:03:16 00:03:20 aliexpress homepage
00:03:18 00:03:22 i was looking for new products on that
00:03:20 00:03:24 day and lucky for me i was able to find
00:03:22 00:03:25 this product right on the home page
00:03:24 00:03:27 towards the top once i found this
00:03:25 00:03:28 however i started to do a little bit
00:03:27 00:03:29 more research i started to think about
00:03:28 00:03:31 whether
00:03:29 00:03:33 this product would actually be the right
00:03:31 00:03:33 product to sell during this time period
00:03:33 00:03:35 and
00:03:33 00:03:37 what i thought about was the current
00:03:35 00:03:37 event that was going on during that time
00:03:37 00:03:39 period
00:03:37 00:03:41 and i realized that this product could
00:03:39 00:03:43 actually be very very helpful
00:03:41 00:03:45 for the mass majority of the individuals
00:03:43 00:03:47 during that time period so
00:03:45 00:03:48 because of that this product did start
00:03:47 00:03:50 to interest me a lot and that is when i
00:03:48 00:03:52 kind of took it to the next level
00:03:50 00:03:53 and i started to do a little bit more
00:03:52 00:03:55 research into the keywords because
00:03:53 00:03:56 with the google ads as you already know
00:03:55 00:03:57 keyword is one of the most important
00:03:56 00:03:59 things
00:03:57 00:04:01 you can do to find success but in order
00:03:59 00:04:03 to do research for the keywords i went
00:04:01 00:04:04 to the keyword planner tool
00:04:03 00:04:06 and i looked up some of the main
00:04:04 00:04:07 keywords which were related to that
00:04:06 00:04:09 product in this case
00:04:07 00:04:11 one of the main keywords was oxygen
00:04:09 00:04:12 concentrator portable oxygen
00:04:11 00:04:14 concentrator
00:04:12 00:04:16 oxygen tank etc and that is exactly what
00:04:14 00:04:18 i did as you guys can see at the top
00:04:16 00:04:19 when i had found this product which was
00:04:18 00:04:21 in early march
00:04:19 00:04:22 this was starting to already boom up i
00:04:21 00:04:25 saw the same trend
00:04:22 00:04:26 on google trends and because of that i
00:04:25 00:04:28 knew this was the perfect time to be
00:04:26 00:04:31 selling that product as you can see
00:04:28 00:04:34 it jumped almost 96 in search volume
00:04:31 00:04:36 from february in to march and that is a
00:04:34 00:04:38 very very big increase and that is
00:04:36 00:04:39 exactly what you want to be seeing
00:04:38 00:04:41 when you're trying to sell products
00:04:39 00:04:42 which are just going into demand but
00:04:41 00:04:44 besides that if you guys look
00:04:42 00:04:45 at the total search volume even before
00:04:44 00:04:48 the demand it was already
00:04:45 00:04:50 very very above what we want normally i
00:04:48 00:04:52 recommend anything about 20 000
00:04:50 00:04:55 to 25 000 monthly searches in this case
00:04:52 00:04:55 this was at 311 000 which is much much
00:04:55 00:04:58 higher
00:04:55 00:04:59 and when it increased it was at over 600
00:04:58 00:05:01 000 monthly searches
00:04:59 00:05:02 which is a big number and even if you
00:05:01 00:05:04 get a small amount of orders from this
00:05:02 00:05:06 big number that is more than enough to
00:05:04 00:05:07 do a lot in sales because one of the
00:05:06 00:05:09 main points about this product was that
00:05:07 00:05:11 it was the high tiket product
00:05:09 00:05:13 i'll be going over that soon but because
00:05:11 00:05:15 of that this was a very good product for
00:05:13 00:05:16 google ads and this kind of sparked my
00:05:15 00:05:17 interest
00:05:16 00:05:19 into doing more research and into
00:05:17 00:05:21 finding exactly what i can do with this
00:05:19 00:05:22 product how much i can sell it for etc
00:05:21 00:05:23 so
00:05:22 00:05:25 as i mentioned already this was a high
00:05:23 00:05:28 tiket product because once i began to
00:05:25 00:05:30 search for this product on aliexpress
00:05:28 00:05:32 to find reliable alex for suppliers and
00:05:30 00:05:34 this is one aliexpress link which i'm
00:05:32 00:05:35 just pulling up as a show because the
00:05:34 00:05:37 original aliexpress link
00:05:35 00:05:39 is no longer available and this product
00:05:37 00:05:40 is no longer available on aliexpress
00:05:39 00:05:42 this was already gone from aliexpress
00:05:40 00:05:43 towards a later portion of my scaling
00:05:42 00:05:46 with this product
00:05:43 00:05:47 so i decided to use other ways to source
00:05:46 00:05:50 this product such as cj
00:05:47 00:05:52 drop shipping ebay etc but this was
00:05:50 00:05:55 kind of the same price for that product
00:05:52 00:05:55 which is why i'm showing this product to
00:05:55 00:05:58 you guys
00:05:55 00:06:00 i was getting it for around 126 130
00:05:58 00:06:02 towards the end however i increased all
00:06:00 00:06:04 the way up to 150
00:06:02 00:06:06 for shipping i was paying a lot because
00:06:04 00:06:07 of the options that were available as
00:06:06 00:06:09 you can see
00:06:07 00:06:12 even the original listing was offering
00:06:09 00:06:14 fedex dhl et cetera which is one benefit
00:06:12 00:06:15 of this product so there were fast
00:06:14 00:06:18 shipping options available
00:06:15 00:06:19 i had no problem selling this product
00:06:18 00:06:20 because of the fast shipping options
00:06:19 00:06:21 available
00:06:20 00:06:23 and because people actually needed it
00:06:21 00:06:24 very very fast so
00:06:23 00:06:26 if you guys calculate this this is
00:06:24 00:06:29 roughly 250
00:06:26 00:06:31 in total cost of goods but i was able to
00:06:29 00:06:33 sell it for around 347
00:06:31 00:06:35 as you guys can see over here i was
00:06:33 00:06:37 selling it for 347 dollars with about a
00:06:35 00:06:39 hundred dollars in profits per
00:06:37 00:06:41 order because people were not just
00:06:39 00:06:42 buying one they were buying multiple for
00:06:41 00:06:44 their family members friends etc
00:06:42 00:06:46 so this was really an amazing product
00:06:44 00:06:48 during that time period and because of
00:06:46 00:06:49 the large amount of profits i was able
00:06:48 00:06:51 to scale this product and bid
00:06:49 00:06:52 much much higher compared to the normal
00:06:51 00:06:54 drop shipper but
00:06:52 00:06:56 in addition one thing that i liked about
00:06:54 00:06:58 this product was that it had a not a big
00:06:56 00:07:00 size it was fairly small
00:06:58 00:07:01 as you guys saw from the photo it was
00:07:00 00:07:03 kind of a portable product just you
00:07:01 00:07:05 could carry it anywhere with you
00:07:03 00:07:06 and it didn't weigh much which meant
00:07:05 00:07:08 that it could get shipped a much much
00:07:06 00:07:10 more safer than something
00:07:08 00:07:12 that is very very heavy and is big in
00:07:10 00:07:14 size but in addition
00:07:12 00:07:16 there were high quality images available
00:07:14 00:07:17 on aliexpress during that time
00:07:16 00:07:19 because of that i was able to rank much
00:07:17 00:07:21 much higher compared to the other
00:07:19 00:07:23 individuals who were selling this
00:07:21 00:07:25 product and by the way when it comes to
00:07:23 00:07:26 competition you want to have as little
00:07:25 00:07:28 drop shippers as possible
00:07:26 00:07:30 lucky for me with this product there
00:07:28 00:07:32 were no drop shippers selling this
00:07:30 00:07:34 when i began to sell it however after a
00:07:32 00:07:36 few weeks after about a month
00:07:34 00:07:38 dropshippers did start to come in but by
00:07:36 00:07:39 then i had already caught a large piece
00:07:38 00:07:41 of the pie
00:07:39 00:07:42 and done a lot of sales as you guys
00:07:41 00:07:44 already saw but if you go back to the
00:07:42 00:07:45 shopify dashboard and go ahead and click
00:07:44 00:07:47 view report
00:07:45 00:07:48 we can see exactly how much this product
00:07:47 00:07:51 was able to generate so
00:07:48 00:07:53 this is the product right here 389 sold
00:07:51 00:07:55 as you can see during that template i
00:07:53 00:07:57 was able to do 115 000
00:07:55 00:08:00 just with that product so it was a very
00:07:57 00:08:00 very beneficial product even with 389
00:08:00 00:08:02 sold
00:08:00 00:08:03 only and again that simply because this
00:08:02 00:08:06 was a high tiket product
00:08:03 00:08:08 and this is one reason why i always say
00:08:06 00:08:10 high tiket is the way to go because
00:08:08 00:08:12 with high tiket you have to deal with
00:08:10 00:08:14 much less customers you get much
00:08:12 00:08:16 more profits and it's a better way to
00:08:14 00:08:18 build a longer sustainable business
00:08:16 00:08:19 but along with the price make sure that
00:08:18 00:08:21 you always do proper
00:08:19 00:08:23 research into your competition make sure
00:08:21 00:08:25 to see what your competition is selling
00:08:23 00:08:26 the product for in my case for this
00:08:25 00:08:28 product
00:08:26 00:08:29 i notiked that a lot of other people
00:08:28 00:08:31 that were selling this product whether
00:08:29 00:08:32 they are big brands regardless of what
00:08:31 00:08:35 kind of store it was
00:08:32 00:08:36 we're selling them for around 400 500
00:08:35 00:08:38 and some were around the 300
00:08:36 00:08:40 ranges well i decided to keep it at the
00:08:38 00:08:42 lower range just so i could
00:08:40 00:08:43 get a little bit more in sales during
00:08:42 00:08:44 that time period and it worked out well
00:08:43 00:08:47 for me in this case
00:08:44 00:08:49 simply because it was right at the point
00:08:47 00:08:50 where it was not too expensive for the
00:08:49 00:08:52 individual and i was getting
00:08:50 00:08:54 a good amount of profits in this case i
00:08:52 00:08:56 really didn't want to increase the price
00:08:54 00:08:56 a lot because it was also a necessary
00:08:56 00:08:58 product
00:08:56 00:09:00 for the general population but we kept
00:08:58 00:09:02 the price at around 300
00:09:00 00:09:04 however just setting up the product page
00:09:02 00:09:06 just choosing the right image
00:09:04 00:09:08 with the description and everything is
00:09:06 00:09:08 not enough you got to make sure that you
00:09:08 00:09:11 do
00:09:08 00:09:12 the right things with the ad so exactly
00:09:11 00:09:13 how did i even launch this product what
00:09:12 00:09:15 did i do
00:09:13 00:09:17 did i bid anything higher these are some
00:09:15 00:09:19 common questions a lot of people get
00:09:17 00:09:20 and the reality behind this is that i
00:09:19 00:09:22 was doing actually
00:09:20 00:09:24 nothing different than i do for say a
00:09:22 00:09:26 twenty dollar or thirty dollar product
00:09:24 00:09:28 everything was the exact same once i
00:09:26 00:09:31 found this product on aliexpress
00:09:28 00:09:31 i just simply imported it via oberlo to
00:09:31 00:09:34 my store
00:09:31 00:09:36 i recreated a good search engine
00:09:34 00:09:39 optimized description with a good title
00:09:36 00:09:40 and i just set it up for 347 and what
00:09:39 00:09:42 happened was
00:09:40 00:09:44 product went directly into this general
00:09:42 00:09:44 testing campaign and it was getting
00:09:44 00:09:47 tested at
00:09:44 00:09:50 around a 45 cent bit so the bid was not
00:09:47 00:09:50 changed at all just to accommodate this
00:09:50 00:09:52 product
00:09:50 00:09:54 everything was literally the same what i
00:09:52 00:09:56 notiked however is because of the very
00:09:54 00:09:56 very high search volume during that time
00:09:56 00:09:59 period
00:09:56 00:10:01 google and my campaign automatikally
00:09:59 00:10:03 started to spend a lot more money
00:10:01 00:10:05 just on that product only compared to
00:10:03 00:10:05 the other products in the campaign and
00:10:05 00:10:07 this is
00:10:05 00:10:09 something you'll normally see where
00:10:07 00:10:10 google just decides which product to
00:10:09 00:10:11 show and if you start getting sales for
00:10:10 00:10:13 that product
00:10:11 00:10:15 google kind of sees that as a good thing
00:10:13 00:10:17 and it increases your quality score
00:10:15 00:10:18 which makes it rank higher and higher
00:10:17 00:10:20 for that product so
00:10:18 00:10:22 that is exactly what happened in this
00:10:20 00:10:24 case and as the product started to sell
00:10:22 00:10:26 more and more at dirt cheap
00:10:24 00:10:27 cost per purchases and when i mean dirt
00:10:26 00:10:29 cheap i mean they were very very low
00:10:27 00:10:30 i started to raise the budget every
00:10:29 00:10:32 three to seven days
00:10:30 00:10:34 for the general testing campaign itself
00:10:32 00:10:35 the main reason why i did this without
00:10:34 00:10:36 just
00:10:35 00:10:38 directly going to a scaling campaign in
00:10:36 00:10:40 the beginning is because during that
00:10:38 00:10:41 time period i notiked
00:10:40 00:10:43 scaling candidates weren't doing that
00:10:41 00:10:45 well i was scaling a lot of my winning
00:10:43 00:10:46 products with just a general testing
00:10:45 00:10:47 campaign
00:10:46 00:10:50 however i did decide to give the single
00:10:47 00:10:52 product scaling campaign a try later on
00:10:50 00:10:53 after i had over 10 sales or so
00:10:52 00:10:55 and during that time period what i did
00:10:53 00:10:57 is i created that campaign
00:10:55 00:11:00 and i increased the bid just slightly by
00:10:57 00:11:02 about 5 cents to 10 cents because
00:11:00 00:11:03 this let google get a little bit more
00:11:02 00:11:05 room to kind of show it to
00:11:03 00:11:07 a bigger audience and it worked out very
00:11:05 00:11:10 very well for me so the bid was around
00:11:07 00:11:11 50 cents to 55 cents i did not increase
00:11:10 00:11:14 it anymore even though i could take it
00:11:11 00:11:16 up to a dollar and still be profitable
00:11:14 00:11:17 simply because with google ads it's not
00:11:16 00:11:20 always about the bid
00:11:17 00:11:21 the ctr also plays a big big role if
00:11:20 00:11:22 you're getting sales or not also plays a
00:11:21 00:11:24 big role so
00:11:22 00:11:27 because that product was such a demand
00:11:24 00:11:29 and because i had a very very high ctr
00:11:27 00:11:31 my bid was automatikally very low and i
00:11:29 00:11:33 had no interest in paying more
00:11:31 00:11:35 for the same amount of sales so i kept
00:11:33 00:11:36 the bid at around five cents to ten cent
00:11:35 00:11:37 increase
00:11:36 00:11:39 and instead what i did is when i started
00:11:37 00:11:41 this campaign i took the same
00:11:39 00:11:43 keyword exclusions from the original
00:11:41 00:11:45 general testing campaign
00:11:43 00:11:46 and inserted them into this new campaign
00:11:45 00:11:49 so i already had
00:11:46 00:11:50 enough data to add the excluded keywords
00:11:49 00:11:51 and make sure
00:11:50 00:11:54 my campaign started off on the right
00:11:51 00:11:56 note but once the product started to
00:11:54 00:11:58 work with the scaling campaign that was
00:11:56 00:11:59 when i decided to just take it very very
00:11:58 00:12:01 slow and do
00:11:59 00:12:02 optimizations along with budget scaling
00:12:01 00:12:04 for the campaign so when it comes to
00:12:02 00:12:06 optimizations
00:12:04 00:12:07 some things i did was to basically add
00:12:06 00:12:08 the winning keywords that were getting
00:12:07 00:12:10 me sales
00:12:08 00:12:11 to my descriptions repeat them no more
00:12:10 00:12:13 than three times
00:12:11 00:12:14 also make sure to add them within the
00:12:13 00:12:16 tag section on the right
00:12:14 00:12:18 and make sure that i was excluding my
00:12:16 00:12:20 keywords which were the bad ones
00:12:18 00:12:21 from this new scaling campaign every
00:12:20 00:12:23 seven days or so because
00:12:21 00:12:25 without these exclusions the campaign
00:12:23 00:12:26 can start spending a lot of money to the
00:12:25 00:12:28 wrong keywords
00:12:26 00:12:30 very fast if you want to prevent that
00:12:28 00:12:30 from happening make sure to do it every
00:12:30 00:12:32 seven days
00:12:30 00:12:34 in addition you can increase the budget
00:12:32 00:12:36 every seven days or so to keep the
00:12:34 00:12:36 campaign going and to keep the results
00:12:36 00:12:39 coming in but
00:12:36 00:12:40 that was basically my main winning
00:12:39 00:12:43 product for this time period
00:12:40 00:12:44 and this was the exact strategy i used
00:12:43 00:12:46 on this winning product
00:12:44 00:12:47 to not only find the product in the
00:12:46 00:12:49 first place but to also make sure to
00:12:47 00:12:50 keep its killing for a long period of
00:12:49 00:12:51 time
