00:00:17 00:00:23 two but three different examples on ad
00:00:21 00:00:25 copy so what I went ahead and did is I
00:00:23 00:00:27 asked a couple of people if they wanted
00:00:25 00:00:29 me to publicly review theirs so it's
00:00:27 00:00:31 okay we got the clearance to post this
00:00:29 00:00:33 publicly but I had people send me not
00:00:31 00:00:34 only their ad copy but the ad itself
00:00:33 00:00:37 we're not really gonna break down the ad
00:00:34 00:00:39 meaning like the picture but how that
00:00:37 00:00:41 flows into the ad copy is important and
00:00:39 00:00:42 kind of what they're saying so I'm gonna
00:00:41 00:00:44 go through give you a couple of tips
00:00:42 00:00:47 you'll very much so notike a couple of
00:00:44 00:00:48 similar things and similar structures
00:00:47 00:00:51 that I like to have in place between all
00:00:48 00:00:52 of my ad copy just based on these three
00:00:51 00:00:54 examples and then after that I'm gonna
00:00:52 00:00:56 go through and break down what I would
00:00:54 00:00:58 do for it as well so with that being
00:00:56 00:01:00 said if you guys want me to do more

00:01:00 00:01:03 something a little more specific like
00:01:02 00:01:06 someone's direct facebook ad just
00:01:03 00:01:07 breaking down some live examples based
00:01:06 00:01:08 on what you're struggling with or what
00:01:07 00:01:10 you're already running because maybe
00:01:08 00:01:11 these are working I don't know but we're
00:01:10 00:01:13 gonna go through our breaking down and
00:01:11 00:01:16 give you my advice on it so if you want

00:01:19 00:01:23 computer and start going through this
00:01:21 00:01:25 alright so as you guys can see inside of
00:01:23 00:01:26 here we've got the first one pulled up
00:01:25 00:01:28 on the left and I went through an
00:01:26 00:01:29 outline a couple different things I want
00:01:28 00:01:31 to tok about for it and then I'm gonna
00:01:29 00:01:33 give you a little bit of an example on
00:01:31 00:01:35 this first one of how I'm gonna
00:01:33 00:01:37 restructure it so with all the next ones
00:01:35 00:01:39 I'm gonna tok about what I would do for
00:01:37 00:01:40 it how it would restructure them but
00:01:39 00:01:41 only on this first one am I gonna give
00:01:40 00:01:44 the full example of that because it's
00:01:41 00:01:45 the same structure so there's very very
00:01:44 00:01:47 few ads where I really switch it up and
00:01:45 00:01:49 do something very different so for this
00:01:47 00:01:51 one they're advertising some sort of
00:01:49 00:01:53 like unicorn plushie doll the first
00:01:51 00:01:55 thing that I see with this is one of two
00:01:53 00:01:57 things when I look at the actual picture
00:01:55 00:01:58 so we're focusing on the ad copy in this
00:01:57 00:02:01 video right that's what's down here on
00:01:58 00:02:03 the bottom but on this itself that is
00:02:01 00:02:05 definitely too much text on the photo
00:02:03 00:02:06 you want to keep it simple I don't know
00:02:05 00:02:07 if you're running I'm gonna assume
00:02:06 00:02:10 that's Instagram influencers because you
00:02:07 00:02:12 said link and bio and put your store but
00:02:10 00:02:15 on Facebook they will definitely demo
00:02:12 00:02:17 that ad because you by far do you have
00:02:15 00:02:19 way too much text and so Facebook
00:02:17 00:02:21 doesn't like that so just to be as
00:02:19 00:02:23 practikal as possible for you on what I
00:02:21 00:02:25 would personally change I would
00:02:23 00:02:27 potentially leave these hearts in there
00:02:25 00:02:29 I would get rid of the cutest toy around
00:02:27 00:02:31 out leave unicorn plush edala probably
00:02:29 00:02:33 move it down a little bit just so it's
00:02:31 00:02:36 centered in between like the top of
00:02:33 00:02:38 those ears of the unicorn and the top of
00:02:36 00:02:40 the entire photo and then I'll probably
00:02:38 00:02:42 just get rid of this entire bottom piece
00:02:40 00:02:43 right when you look at your ad copy when
00:02:42 00:02:47 you look at everything it should be a
00:02:43 00:02:49 three step sequence 1 2 which is the ad
00:02:47 00:02:51 copy and then your website's the third
00:02:49 00:02:52 it's like boom boom boom you've got to
00:02:51 00:02:55 follow that process and it builds into
00:02:52 00:02:56 it because if you have all of this even
00:02:55 00:02:57 then what's the point in your ad copy
00:02:56 00:02:59 like we'll tok about the ad copy and
00:02:57 00:03:01 what I would change in a second but
00:02:59 00:03:02 you're saying the same thing you want it
00:03:01 00:03:04 to build into each other so that they
00:03:02 00:03:06 have some sort of reason to you know
00:03:04 00:03:07 keep looking key if they're interested
00:03:06 00:03:08 in the product they're gonna keep
00:03:07 00:03:10 reading keep going along in the process
00:03:08 00:03:13 so that's just kind of what I would
00:03:10 00:03:15 change on the photo itself now as for
00:03:13 00:03:17 the direct ad copy the first thing I
00:03:15 00:03:19 always do is I would put these emojis at
00:03:17 00:03:21 the back end of the sentence so after
00:03:19 00:03:24 because the whole goal if an emoji is
00:03:21 00:03:25 for the the whole concept of a picture
00:03:24 00:03:27 speaks a thousand words so if you're
00:03:25 00:03:29 gonna add in a picture first of all has
00:03:27 00:03:31 to relate to what you just said but do
00:03:29 00:03:33 it after so then it kind of builds off
00:03:31 00:03:35 of that thought process and whatever you
00:03:33 00:03:37 were saying it helps it make a lot more
00:03:35 00:03:39 sentence it's a really good visual aid
00:03:37 00:03:41 so the first couple things I see I
00:03:39 00:03:43 outlined a couple bullet points you're
00:03:41 00:03:46 missing the informational point so this
00:03:43 00:03:47 is just an offer you know I would never
00:03:46 00:03:49 click on an ad where it's just an offer
00:03:47 00:03:51 it doesn't say anything about the
00:03:49 00:03:54 product what it's made out of nothing
00:03:51 00:03:55 like that you left out like if you want
00:03:54 00:03:57 to think about it like an essay you have
00:03:55 00:03:59 your intro and the conclusion but
00:03:57 00:04:01 where's the body where's the meat you
00:03:59 00:04:03 know it's like you got a big steak but
00:04:01 00:04:04 it's just a bone there's no meat on it
00:04:03 00:04:06 if you will so that's one thing I would
00:04:04 00:04:07 look usually that's just gonna be one
00:04:06 00:04:09 sentence again I'll give you an example
00:04:07 00:04:11 on how to do that for this in the next
00:04:09 00:04:12 slide so the second thing I see in this
00:04:11 00:04:15 is just basic stuff you gotta be able to
00:04:12 00:04:16 pick up on capitalize the L in link it's
00:04:15 00:04:18 the start of a new sentence that's got
00:04:16 00:04:20 to be a capital and this is just me
00:04:18 00:04:22 personally how I like to think about my
00:04:20 00:04:24 offers how I like to I don't to say
00:04:22 00:04:25 structure them how I like to say them to
00:04:24 00:04:28 whoever's gonna be seeing it
00:04:25 00:04:30 I would flip that around say 50% off
00:04:28 00:04:31 plus free shipping because the first
00:04:30 00:04:33 thing they see when they're on the
00:04:31 00:04:35 website is the price the actual price so
00:04:33 00:04:37 that comes first right the free or the
00:04:35 00:04:38 50% off then on the backend free
00:04:37 00:04:40 shipping as well it's kind it's kind of
00:04:38 00:04:42 an additional bonus on the back end so
00:04:40 00:04:44 that's what I would do now let me give
00:04:42 00:04:46 you an example on how its structure this
00:04:44 00:04:47 because it's not bad you have a frame I
00:04:46 00:04:49 can understand what you're doing what
00:04:47 00:04:51 you're trying to accomplish but it's
00:04:49 00:04:53 also just trying to go for you know it's
00:04:51 00:04:55 a come to my website come buy this
00:04:53 00:04:57 there's no actual like value prop inside
00:04:55 00:04:59 of there if you will there's nothing
00:04:57 00:05:01 actually entiking them for anything so

00:05:02 00:05:06 number one which is his first example as
00:05:04 00:05:08 as you can see what kind of bounce back
00:05:06 00:05:10 and forth through what they said unicorn
00:05:08 00:05:13 plushie let me build off for that for
00:05:10 00:05:16 you I would say our new unicorn plushie
00:05:13 00:05:17 design again propping it up everything
00:05:16 00:05:19 is it's just putting it on a pedestal
00:05:17 00:05:21 making it look better sound better be
00:05:19 00:05:23 more appealing to that potential
00:05:21 00:05:25 customer and then at the end of that
00:05:23 00:05:27 sentence I would put an emoji I love
00:05:25 00:05:28 using exclamation points it's pretty
00:05:27 00:05:30 much just the equivalent to saying
00:05:28 00:05:31 something like you know you got to take
00:05:30 00:05:33 this out bro you're not gonna believe it
00:05:31 00:05:36 like you see the excitement in my voice
00:05:33 00:05:38 it's all about being excited you can
00:05:36 00:05:40 convey that through typing or on text by
00:05:38 00:05:42 adding in things like an exclamation
00:05:40 00:05:44 point so here's what I meant about
00:05:42 00:05:46 adding that whole like the meat you know
00:05:44 00:05:48 the middle sentence the the body of it
00:05:46 00:05:50 if you will the information I like to
00:05:48 00:05:52 use something where it's just a quick
00:05:50 00:05:53 one or two sentences about the product
00:05:52 00:05:55 what it's made out of the key features
00:05:53 00:05:57 all of that which you're going to be
00:05:55 00:05:59 expanding upon in your product
00:05:57 00:06:02 description over on your Shopify store
00:05:59 00:06:05 so here's an example made from our ultra
00:06:02 00:06:08 plush filling wrapped in a soft yet
00:06:05 00:06:11 durable fabric to ensure long lasting
00:06:08 00:06:13 quality that makes it sound so good I
00:06:11 00:06:15 just gave them two different pieces of
00:06:13 00:06:16 information that it's filled with
00:06:15 00:06:18 something that's high quality and I
00:06:16 00:06:21 toked about the actual fabric the
00:06:18 00:06:23 material it's durable it's not gonna rip
00:06:21 00:06:24 if they pull it or if their dog quickly
00:06:23 00:06:26 grabs it for a minute before they can
00:06:24 00:06:28 get it back you know it's not just gonna
00:06:26 00:06:29 be destroyed and it's also soft so I
00:06:28 00:06:32 just you know I threw in something I
00:06:29 00:06:33 just obviously made this up but based on
00:06:32 00:06:35 your product you're gonna want to look
00:06:33 00:06:36 at the actual information you have about
00:06:35 00:06:38 it like just come up with
00:06:36 00:06:40 something is interesting as you possibly
00:06:38 00:06:42 can that's what I would recommend you
00:06:40 00:06:44 know the the main key point that you
00:06:42 00:06:46 outline in the ad copy should be the
00:06:44 00:06:48 most interesting one out of all the ones
00:06:46 00:06:51 that are in your product description now
00:06:48 00:06:52 reordering the actual offer end of
00:06:51 00:06:54 things and notike how I didn't use an
00:06:52 00:06:57 emoji on that second one it's usually a
00:06:54 00:06:58 four point sequence with your ad copy so
00:06:57 00:07:00 the first one right here kind of hooking
00:06:58 00:07:02 them getting them interested giving them
00:07:00 00:07:03 some information what's the offer and
00:07:02 00:07:05 then where to get it so it's kind of
00:07:03 00:07:09 four points there this third one here
00:07:05 00:07:11 ordered today and get 50% off plus free
00:07:09 00:07:14 shipping and then use an emoji use
00:07:11 00:07:15 something like the shocked face you know
00:07:14 00:07:17 something like that that actually builds
00:07:15 00:07:19 off of it that makes sense you know it
00:07:17 00:07:21 helps them feel some sort of way it's a
00:07:19 00:07:24 visual representation of what you just
00:07:21 00:07:26 said and now this would be for Instagram
00:07:24 00:07:27 influencers you can do click the link in
00:07:26 00:07:29 my bio click the link above you know
00:07:27 00:07:31 click the button anything like that
00:07:29 00:07:34 wherever you're running your ads so that
00:07:31 00:07:36 bottom piece is the call to action if
00:07:34 00:07:38 you will so that's something that's
00:07:36 00:07:39 super important now this second one

00:07:41 00:07:46 thing I see it has a little bit too much
00:07:44 00:07:49 text on it Facebook will potentially
00:07:46 00:07:51 take a 50/50 shot if they demote this
00:07:49 00:07:53 you also if you're running Facebook Ads
00:07:51 00:07:55 you probably will not be able to use the
00:07:53 00:07:57 word bikini every single time I've heard
00:07:55 00:08:00 of it maybe for whatever reason you get
00:07:57 00:08:01 through but bikini is not a word you can
00:08:00 00:08:03 use in Facebook Ads you're gonna want to
00:08:01 00:08:06 use swimsuit or swimwear they're not
00:08:03 00:08:08 gonna let your ad be approved so in this
00:08:06 00:08:09 I can kind of tell you're doing
00:08:08 00:08:11 instrument fluency or just by saying
00:08:09 00:08:12 Lincoln bio but what I would do is I
00:08:11 00:08:16 would get rid of this first of all the
00:08:12 00:08:19 value prop so it says $29.99 value and
00:08:16 00:08:22 it says you can order the Blair swimsuit
00:08:19 00:08:25 for only $34.99
00:08:22 00:08:28 I'm getting some mixed signals there so

00:10:25 00:10:29 interested go show three of your friends
00:10:27 00:10:31 go show your dad your mom your uncle
00:10:29 00:10:33 your dog it doesn't matter show it to
00:10:31 00:10:35 them and be like yo is this interesting
00:10:33 00:10:37 like pretend like it's not even yours
00:10:35 00:10:39 you know make a joke in a negative light
00:10:37 00:10:40 be like yo look at how bad this
00:10:39 00:10:43 description is like how boring is this
00:10:40 00:10:44 and see if they agree see what they say
00:10:43 00:10:46 be like yeah I can make something so
00:10:44 00:10:48 much better what do you think and you
00:10:46 00:10:51 play it like that have you ever done
00:10:48 00:10:52 that you know just be creative with it
00:10:51 00:10:54 that's something I would recommend so
00:10:52 00:10:55 when it comes to ad copy it definitely
00:10:54 00:10:58 is important to have the right structure
00:10:55 00:11:00 because the ad itself is one of the most
00:10:58 00:11:01 important pieces right that's before
00:11:00 00:11:03 someone takes the mass
00:11:01 00:11:05 leap to leave whatever website whatever
00:11:03 00:11:07 platform they were on doing anything you
00:11:05 00:11:08 know toking to their friends they were
00:11:07 00:11:10 being entertained on Instagram or
00:11:08 00:11:13 Facebook and they're literally leaving
00:11:10 00:11:15 that to go potentially purchase a
00:11:13 00:11:17 product or leaving that platform and
00:11:15 00:11:20 going to an untrusted sources website
00:11:17 00:11:22 just for that so the ad copy is the one
00:11:20 00:11:24 point that comes in right before that so
00:11:22 00:11:25 you have to make sure you nail that it
00:11:24 00:11:26 is very very important and then
00:11:25 00:11:28 obviously running the ads the right way
00:11:26 00:11:30 and everything to do with that that's
00:11:28 00:11:31 what we covered econ remaster 2.0 if you

00:11:53 00:11:57 things that people kept asking me about
