Hello and welcome to Novaro Tots Plus Tutorial! I'm Adi Por Dilla and in today's video, we're going to learn how to create classified ads websites using a WordPress theme called Lisfinity. But before we dive into that, let's first understand what a classified ads website is and how you can make money from it.

- A classified ads website is a place where people and companies can buy or sell goods and services. These goods and services are arranged in different classes or categories, such as type and location.

- Classified websites act as a bridge between buyers and sellers, providing a platform for them to connect and make transactions.

- Online advertising has become the best way to reach potential customers, and classified ads websites are the go-to place for people looking to buy or sell something.

- Popular classified ads websites include Craigslist, Gumtree, and OLX, which have generated significant revenue through various monetization methods.

- These websites make money by charging a fee for placing an ad, offering paid promotions to highlight or feature ads, and by displaying advertisements through Google AdSense or other ad networks.

Now, let's talk about how you can create a classified ads website. There are two main approaches: using a WordPress theme or hiring developers to create it from scratch.

- Using a WordPress theme like Lisfinity is a quick and cost-effective way to get started. It usually costs around $100, including the theme, domain, and hosting.

- WordPress themes offer native functionality for creating classified ads websites, but customization options may be limited. Adding new features may require coding or hiring a developer.

- However, WordPress themes are highly customizable, allowing you to create a unique website that stands out from others in your niche.

- On the other hand, hiring developers to create a classified ads website from scratch gives you complete control over the design and functionality. However, it is a more expensive and time-consuming process.

Now, let's take a closer look at Lisfinity and why it's a great choice for creating a classified ads website.

- Lisfinity is a relatively new WordPress theme that has gained popularity for its unique features and modern design.

- It offers a user-friendly interface, allowing you to easily create and manage ads on your website.

- The theme includes features like a search builder, allowing you to customize search forms based on different categories.

- Lisfinity is almost entirely based on WooCommerce, which means you can easily monetize your website through ads and microtransactions.

- Pricing packages, microtransactions, and promotions are all built-in features of Lisfinity, making it easy to generate revenue from your classified ads website.

- Vendors can create their own accounts and post ads on your website, giving you the ability to charge them a fee for their submissions.

- Lisfinity also supports Elementor, a popular WordPress page builder, making it easy to customize the home page of your website.

In conclusion, creating a classified ads website using a WordPress theme like Lisfinity is a cost-effective and efficient way to start your online business. With its unique features, customizable options, and monetization methods, Lisfinity provides everything you need to succeed in the world of classified ads. So why wait? Contractor Leads Using Classified Ads the Right Way

Hi, this is Harvey with Doozy Inc. I just wanted to put together a quick video for you contractors, showing you how to get some more leads into your contracting business. So, here's what you're going to need:

- A list of your city's neighborhoods

- An Excel spreadsheet or Open Office workbook

- A solution to a problem, which is your offer

- A list of directories to list your offer

First, open up an Excel spreadsheet and then open up your browser to get a list of your city's neighborhoods. I'm doing this for St. Louis, so let's search for listings of St. Louis neighborhoods on Wikipedia. Find the neighborhoods and start with the highest population.

Next, start your spreadsheet with the city and the neighborhood columns. Paste the neighborhoods into the spreadsheet.

Now, you need a solution to a problem, which is your offer. For this client, let's do HVAC installation. Add a phone number and make sure to include a call to action.

After that, you need a list of directories to list your offer. Let's start with Backpage. Go to Backpage and select the home improvement section. Enter the title and the problem you're solving. Include some bullet points and a link back to your client's website.

Fill out the rest of the form and click continue. Your ad is not live yet, so click the link in the email to finalize it.

Now, let's see the significance of this. Search for your ad on Google and see it show up in the search results.

By following these steps and listing your offer in directories, you can get more leads for your contracting business.

The Best Way to Write Effective Job Posting Ads

Thank you for joining us today! I'm Andre McEwen Henderson and I will be your host. I'm a national account manager with College Recruiter, the leading job board for recent college graduates and students looking for internships. Today, we have a special guest, Steven Rockford, the president of College Recruiter. Steven has a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship, starting his first small business in 1988 while still in college. He sold it to friends when he went to graduate school and then started his second business in 1991, which eventually became College Recruiter. Welcome, Steven!

Today, we're going to dive into the topic of writing effective job posting ads. So, let's get started with our first question. What makes a well-written job posting ad?

- A well-written job posting ad is like a purple unicorn – rare and hard to find. Most job postings today focus solely on the employer's perspective, listing job requirements and preferences. However, a well-written job posting goes beyond that. It also addresses the needs and wants of the candidate. It talks about the industry, the organization's culture, and the size of the company. It communicates what kind of candidate would thrive in the organization and what kind of environment the organization offers.

- One thing that is often overlooked by employers is the use of video. While a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a thousand pictures. Videos can provide a virtual tour of the office, showcase the community, and give candidates a better understanding of the company culture. While video shouldn't replace the written job posting, it should be used as a supplement to provide a more immersive experience for the candidate.

Now, let's address the question of how many job posting ads are actually well written.

- Unfortunately, I would say that only one or two percent of job posting ads are well written. Most job postings are written solely from the employer's perspective, focusing on requirements and preferences. This approach fails to address the needs and desires of the candidate, resulting in a lack of highly qualified applicants.

- Another factor that contributes to poorly written job postings is the lack of time and involvement. Recruiters are often too busy to dedicate the necessary time and thought to writing a thoughtful job posting. Additionally, many different people are involved in the process, including lawyers and other stakeholders, which leads to a lack of clarity and a focus solely on legal requirements.

So, why aren't most job posting ads well written?

- Lack of time and involvement is a major factor. Recruiters are often overwhelmed with other tasks and don't prioritize writing a well-crafted job posting. Additionally, the involvement of multiple stakeholders and legal requirements can lead to a convoluted and unappealing job posting.

- Moreover, many employers fail to consider the perspective of the candidate when writing job postings. They focus on what a good candidate should ask during an interview, rather than what questions a candidate may have before even applying.

Now, let's talk more about the use of video in job posting ads.

- I've noticed that there are very few poorly done employment videos. This is because employers who choose to use video understand the importance of investing time and effort into creating high-quality content. While some videos are professionally done by marketing departments or ad agencies, others are created by interns or employees using smartphones. These videos, although less polished, can still effectively communicate the employer's culture and environment.

- Occasionally, I come across videos that are incredibly powerful and moving. For example, Whirlpool created a video featuring Reba McEntire that showcased their partnership with Habitat for Humanity. The video highlighted the importance of having a home and how Whirlpool contributes to this cause. The subtle tagline at the end of the video, Home is important. Come work with us, left a lasting impact.

In conclusion, a well-written job posting ad goes beyond the employer's perspective and addresses the needs and wants of the candidate. It communicates the industry, organization culture, and company size. Additionally, video can be a powerful tool to enhance the candidate's understanding of the company and its values. Unfortunately, most job posting ads are poorly written due to a lack of time, involvement, and consideration for the candidate's perspective. Employers should invest more time at the front end to create job postings that resonate with potential applicants.
