Google Ads Tutorial 2022 [Step-by-Step] Adwords
In this complete tutorial, I will guide you step by step on how to run and operate Google Ads. Whether you are a beginner or have run ads on different platforms before, this video is for anyone looking to run ads through Google's services. Running ads may seem intimidating at first, but don't worry, I will teach you every step of the process to get you running your first Google ad. We will cover different types of conversion rates, target conversion rates, ad styles, keywords, and how to set up more ads for split testing.
To get started, go to ads.google.com and sign into your Google account. If you don't have one, you can quickly make a Gmail account. Once you're signed in, click on New Google Ads Account and then switch to expert mode. This will skip Google's set-up questions and get you started on running ads without spending unnecessary money.
Next, choose the type of ad you want to run. I suggest starting with website traffic because it gives you more options and leeway. You can also choose from other campaign types such as search, display, shopping, video, and app promotion. Each one has its own advantages and disadvantages, so make sure you understand them before choosing.
For website traffic, you can choose between search ads and display ads. Search ads are basic text ads that appear when someone searches for something specific on Google. Display ads are banner ads that appear on websites across the web. I suggest starting with search ads because they are more targeted and effective for specific searches.
Finally, don't try to manage all the different types of ads at once. Start with one and then branch out once you have mastered it. Remember to take notes and not to worry if you don't understand some terms because I will explain them later in the video.
In conclusion, Google Ads is a powerful platform for running ads and getting website traffic. By following this tutorial, you will learn how to run ads step by step and save yourself thousands of dollars in the process. Good luck and happy advertising!

- You would break in your account into different campaigns, with individual ad groups under each campaign.
- The reason why we set it up this way is that if someone completes a search for a specific keyword, it takes them through to a relevant landing page.
- Examples of breaking down campaigns: Villa Resort in Bali, electrician services, men's and women's clothing brand.
Step-by-Step Process:
- Go into your Google Ads dashboard and click on new campaign.
