Hey there and welcome to another video with me! In this video, I'm going to show you how to add a payment trust badge on your Shopify store. Adding a trust badge on your store is crucial for building trust with your customers and increasing conversions.
One of the common issues that I've come across while reviewing some of my clients' websites is that they post the trust badge on every single product at the bottom of every single product. While there's nothing wrong with that, it's not a scalable or productive activity, especially if you have a lot of products on your store.
So, today I'm going to show you how to get that trust badge on all of your products that you add to your Shopify store without having to do it manually every time.
1. Log in to the backend of your Shopify store.
2. Download a trust badge from Google. Make sure it's a PNG file.
3. Click on Settings and then Files on your Shopify store.
4. Upload the trust badge you downloaded.
5. Copy the URL of the trust badge.
6. Click on Online Store and then Actions and select Edit Code.
7. Click on Section and then Product Templates.
8. Use the search function (Ctrl + F on PC, Command + F on Mac) to find product.description.
9. Hit enter to give a bit of space and paste the code you copied from your word document.
10. Hit Save and you're done!
Adding a trust badge on your Shopify store is crucial for building trust with your customers and increasing conversions. It's not a complicated process, and by following the steps I've outlined, you can easily add a trust badge to all of your products on your store.
