Hey everyone, welcome to this video! In our previous Shopify pages article, we provided you with all the necessary information about the stock Shopify page templates that come with each theme. We discussed the limitation of these templates and the lack of flexibility in designing them, except for the home page.

Let's take a look at how to access themes and pages in your Shopify admin. Under Online Store, you will find the pages that you currently have, some of which may be hidden or active. The theme editor is where you can apply a theme, and customize it. Currently, I am using the Brooklyn theme, which is a free Shopify theme with the most design done on it.

However, the limitation lies in the fact that the only page you can get creative with is the home page. You can add videos, featured collections, blog posts, images, reviews, and more. But when it comes to other pages like product pages, you are limited to a header, footer, and the product itself.

But, there is a solution to this limitation, which is Page Fly. This application allows you to build pages using different Shopify elements and real product information. You can add a promotion video, a Buy Now button, a sizing chart, links to About Us, and more. You can even add anything you'd like around the Shopify product.

In conclusion, the Shopify themes have their own benefits, but they are limited in terms of customization. If you want to learn how to use Page Fly, check out our Udemy course, which teaches you how to build every type of page. It's a free course, and we even recreate a page by a well-known brand using Page Fly. Good luck with your Shopify store, and I hope this information is valuable to you. Thanks for watching!

Shopify Product Page Customization 2022 | Using Shopify Online Store 2.0 & Shopify Metafields

Creating Perfect Product Pages with Shopify

Since I started using Shopify, I always struggled with how limited I was when it comes to optimizing or modifying the product pages. However, after Shopify Online Store 2.0, things are way better. Now, we can optimize our product pages and make them look perfect without the need to hire any web developer or any professional.

Hi, there! I am Rehab, and on this YouTube channel, I share videos related to e-commerce, entrepreneurship, and more. In this video, I am going to show you step by step how you can create your product pitch. But before that, I want to invite you to sign up for the free workshop I am currently offering. In this workshop, I show you how to create a sustainable, strong e-commerce business. So, if you are interested, go down to the description and sign up for this free workshop.

Market Research

Whenever I want to create product pages for any store, the first thing I start with is market research. I need to understand my potential customers, what they are searching for, and what kind of information they are interested in before buying the product. So, I go to my competitors' stores, read reviews on Amazon, and collect information about what are the things that I will be including inside of my product page.

Product Page Content

I include everything my customers care about, starting from the dimensions of the wigs, length, density, and cap dimensions. Also, a guide about how to wash the wig and how to take care of it, in addition to a list of frequently asked questions. I do my best to include all the needed details inside of my product page because I want my potential customer to be able to find everything they are searching for inside of this page. In addition to that, while checking the competitors, I found that multiple ones of them offer free returns and free shipping, so we decided that these are things that we need to offer in order to compete with other stores.

Unique Selling Propositions

We created a list of all our unique selling propositions, and I created an illustration where I have included all our unique selling propositions. It's true that all of this information is there within our product descriptions and within our shipping conditions, but creating a visual illustration of our unique selling propositions makes it way easier for our potential customers to understand and to absorb the information.

Creating the Product Page Template

After deciding what content you are going to include inside of your product page, you can hire people from Upwork and Fiverr to create the infographics and maybe write a text. When you have everything in place, you can create the first product page template.

In conclusion, creating perfect product pages with Shopify is easy, and you don't need to hire any professional or web developer. By doing proper market research, including all the needed details, and creating a template, you can create perfect product pages.

How To Design A Shopify Home Page THAT SELLS!

In this article, we will be discussing the importance of having a well-designed home page for your Shopify store. According to research from Co-Marketing, 40% of website visitors will want to check out your home page no matter what page they initially landed on. However, many people have poorly designed home pages that scare off potential customers before they even take a look at your product. In this article, we will show you what goes into a great Shopify homepage, how you can design your own home page to elevate and increase sales, and provide examples of successful home pages.

Key points to consider when designing your home page include:

1. Unique Selling Proposition (USP): Your USP should be displayed clearly at the top of the page, summarizing what your brand stands for and what you sell in a single sentence or through badges and icons. This will establish why the customer should buy from you and increase the likelihood of conversions.

2. Above the Fold (ATF) Content: The content above the fold should be carefully designed to be eye-catching, interesting, and include your USP. Avoid using sliders or scrolling galleries as they can be distracting and take away from the focus of your message.

3. Avoid Hard Selling: Instead of trying to cram as many sales as possible onto your home page, focus on establishing your brand and what you stand for. Your home page should tell a story to your potential customers that resonates with them and establishes trust.

4. Categories: Categorize your products in a clear and concise manner to make it easy for your customers to find what they are looking for. This adds to the UX (user experience) and increases credibility and trust.

5. Video is King: Use video content to showcase your brand and products. A brand video or a video of a key product can be hosted on YouTube and embedded onto your Shopify store for free, adding to the overall aesthetic and credibility of your brand.

Examples of successful Shopify home pages include Modern Pack, Hey Silky Skin, Grove Maid, and Ever Strike Lighter. Each of these home pages has a clear message, visual elements that are optimized for mobile and desktop, and are easy to navigate.

In conclusion, having a well-designed home page is crucial for increasing conversions and establishing trust with potential customers. Follow the key points mentioned above to elevate your Shopify home page and increase sales.
