How To Setup Shopify Payment Gateway For Your Country 2022 (Beginners)

how to set up shopify payment gateway for your country. hi guys, welcome back. today i'm giving you a tutorial on shopify payments and how you can set up shopify payment gateways for your company. so let's get into it. first of all, what you guys have to do is you will open up your shopify store and you'll get to the admin right here. i have opened up my shopify store and this is my admin right here. if you do not have an account on shopify, you can create one with your email address and then create your online store. so once you are inside your shopify admin, then you get all of these different options. now, when it comes to the payment option, it's really easy to set up our payment gateways, but before that, you actually have to create different products, and then we can actually add different. you know drop shipping services as well, so let me actually show you that first. first of all, you can go to the product section right here and you can create different products. you can see, i have these products and i can create a brand new product as well by just clicking on add product, and it will allow me to create a brand new product within here. so i already have a product and let's say that i want to now get started with the payments and i want to accept payments for my products. so what i need to do is i will go to the settings right here and in settings we have the payment option given here. so this is the payment option and you can see we have different payment option available in our shopify. so this is where we set up our payments on shopify. now let's check out the options. so when it comes to setting payments for your country, you will select this option. we have payment providers, supported payment methods and manual payment method. so for our country, we will be going with a supported payment method. that means payment methods that are available with once shopify's approved payment providers. so i'm going to click on add payment method and it will open up this option for us. so this is the window where i can search for different payment methods. so you just have to select right here and it will show you the different payment methods that are available. there is visa. there is discover, union pay, american express, ideal, then there we have klorna. cryptokoin is also available. if you want to accept cryptokurrency, then we have pay now, zip, alipay, kb card. then we have. like all of the options are available. now what i'm going to do is i'm going to select the options that i want. so let's say that i want to accept visa, master, american express, then maybe, mr. okay, perfect, so i'll just select the ones that i want discover, and now it's actually showing me some of the payment providers that actually have all of the options that i'm selecting right now. so this one is actually pretty good. i'm going to check this one out, that what are the different payment methods available? so it has visa, mastercard, american express, master or discover- the ones that i wanted. transaction fee is going to be zero percent, so this one looks perfect. i'm gonna click on activate. so once you click on activate now, you can connect the party that they have selected for you. so they have selected ocean payment for me and it's available for my country, for my region, and will allow me to accept payments. now you just have to click on connect and it will take you to your platform, to your payment method that you want to connect, so you can see. it will open it up right here. okay, so we have ocean payment and they're asking me to install the payment app. so i'm going to click on install so that it's added on my shopify. and there you go. now we have our own payment method and what i can do is i can create my account on this platform now and connect it to my shopify. so this is how easy it is to connect any type of payment method to your shopify. so let's say that i want to- maybe you know- add clariner. so i'll just click on clarina. and now what i need to do is so i'll just click on karna, and now what i need to do is i will activate it. and once i click on activate, then i will require an account on karna. so just again, i will click on connect and it will take me to klarna. similarly, if i want to connect paypal, i want to connect stripe, so you'll just connect that platform to your shopify. that's it. you can see now they're asking me to connect this payment method to shopify. so that's it. you just create an account on that platform first, like whatever you think is good for you. for example, if i'm looking to add stripe, i will create an account on stripe and then just connect my stripe to my shopify from this option. so we have supported payment methods given here. similarly, we have a manual payment method. so in manuals we have create custom payment method- bank deposit, money order and cash on delivery. so let's say that i want to create a custom payment method, so click on custom. and let's say that there is a payment method that is not available in shopify, but it works in your country and it works really good. you can accept payments from that. so what you need to do is you need to enter the name, additional details and payment instruction, click on activate and again it will allow you to connect that specific payment option to your shopify. or i can go with bank deposits, money orders and cash on delivery. so this is the manual payment method. and then we have payment providers. now this is also one of the options that's available on shopify and i really like this option, which is a third party providers. so it's quite similar to what we did earlier, where we were selecting different payment methods separately and at the end it was saying that, okay, this provider is available and you can select this one. so it's the same thing here: that we have different providers and you can see that. what are the different services and what are the different payment methods they have? so we have this one right here which is corvus pay, and it will also show you that which one is available in your country and which one is not. so, of course, you will be going with the one available in your country. so you can see we have different options and you can search for the one as well. let's say that i want to search for, maybe stripe. so this is stripe right here. i can just click on it. it will open it up and again it will take me to the connect window where i need to connect strive to my shopify. so you can see it has opened it up for me and i will just now login to my stripe and you can see shopify partnered with strive for secure payments. uh, similarly, i can now go back and i can connect more as well. so let me actually show you the different options available. when it comes to the third party providers. there is to check out, and then we have checkoutcom epay icon, then we have ip88 more and we have different for crypto as well. just keep in mind- to check different options available here and if it's available in your country or not, and then the next step is similar: you will just log into that application with your- you know- shopify. we even have one for crypto right here, which is bogus for testing. so this one is like a testing gateway that we can connect to our shopify and will allow me to actually just test my um- you know- payment method and i can just activate it from here. this is like a gateway that i can connect. so these are the different payment gateways available. we have a third party uh providers available, we have supported payment methods and then we have manual payment method, so you will just connect one to your shopify. i give you some of the examples: just connect your store. of course, if i just go to the stores to that platform now, it will just open it up and that's like separate. there are already videos on this channel on stripe and other payment methods so you can check them out how they actually work and how you can use them. and once you know that, then you just need to connect it to your shopify. uh, once you have them, that's actually pretty amazing. and now we have our own payment gateways on our shopify. a.

Shopify Payments Setup: How To Create Payment Gateway (2022)

shopify payment setup. hi everyone, welcome back into this channel, and today i will be teaching you how to create a payment gateway on shopify. so let's begin right away. the very first step is to make sure that you have an account on shopify. so if you don't have an account, you may go to shopifycom and place your working email right here. make sure that your email is working, since shopify will be sending you a confirmation email or a verification email that will verify that your account is existing. once you're done inputting your email address, click on start free trial right here and then click on password and type in your password. i'll just type in right here and make sure to follow the required password right here. click on create your store once you're done and then wait for it to load. so shopify takes a lot of time to load, so you should be patient with all of these steps. so, as you can see, shopify is loading right now. so once it is done loading, make sure to add the important information that shopify needs in your store so you may click on um. are you already selling? you may choose an option, or what is your current revenue? choose an option. which industry will you be operating? choose an option as well. right here you may click on skip if you think that you still don't have the answer to all of this, and then it will redirect you now to this page right here. so it will ask about your address, so your country or your region, your first name, your last name, address, your apartment, suite and etc. your postal code, city, region, phone and optional business or personal website right here. so make sure to add all of these ones, since it is required, except of this optional business or personal website. you may also check on: this store is a registered business, if you have already registered it to your respective office swap, and then click on enter my store. and once you click on enter my store, this page or the home page will appear, and then you may add a product right here by clicking on add product. or let's say, for example, that the product that you want is on um, aliexpress. so you may go to apps right here on the left pane and then click on overloop. so once you click overloo, it will redirect you to this page, which says that the overloo is a drop shipping app. so click on add app and then wait for it to load again. shopify is taking time to load, so you should be patient with it. once you click on add app, this will be shown on the screen. so the first one is create or connect your shopify store. step two is: i had your first product. the step three is go live and the step 4 is make a sale, so you may track your steps right here. as you can see, there is a green one which indicate that you have already achieved the number of steps out of the four steps right here. so, since we have already created and connected our shopify store, it has now been added right here. so what we're going to do now is to proceed with step two: add your first product. so go to products, right here on the left pane, and click on find products, and right here you may choose the category that you want. so you may choose men's clothing and accessories, women's clothing and accessories, toys and hobbies, beauty and health, watches and etc. you may also choose on more categories. if you cannot see any category that you've won, let's say, for example, i'll click on beauty and health, and right here you just simply choose the product that you want. so click on the. for example, i want to choose this one. simply click on add to import list and then choose as many product as you want. as you can see, i have added or imported a product already, so you may now then click on import list right here and then make sure to tik the box right here. or let's say, for example, you have a lot of products. you may click on the box right here as well, so everything will be selected. once you have selected your products, click on import to store right here, then make sure to turn it to draft first and click on import ass draft, then wait for it to load. once it is done loading, a tik mark or a check mark will be seen right here, and then now you may proceed back to your shopify store and go to your products and, as you can see, now you have your product right here, so you may click on it and then you may be able to see your product. jimmy also edit the name of that product, the description and etc. so again, let's just wait for it to load and then- let's say, for example, that you have already edited your product name or your description. you may click on the bottom right of the screen and then now let's proceed to what you're looking for, which is the setting up of the payment. so let me go to settings, right here on the left pane, and then you may see store details, plan billing, users and permissions, payments, checkout and many more. so let's focus on payments right here. so click on payments and you may choose payment providers, supported payment methods or manual payment methods. so, on manual payment methods, you may add manual payment method, such as create a custom payment method, your bank deposit, money order or cash on delivery or cod. once you are looking for your desired payment method, you just simply try all of this so that you may um experience everything. so let's say, for example, i want to choose a provider. i'll just simply click on that one and then wait for it to load. so, right here i may look for the provider that you want. you may choose to check out by d local credit card or debit card, via paymongo and etc. so you may see here as well what cards are supported by these payment method or your payment providers. so let's say, for example, i want to choose this to check out, and then, as you can see, there is a description. there are also instructions, which include create a to checkout account and log in and activate your to check account, access the integrations under the api section, and you should read all of this so that you will have a successful payment gateway. so the merchant code and the secret code can be seen once you created an account on to check out or other payment options. so let's say, for example, let's click on create a to check account and then make sure to sign up for free. since i have already signed up, i'll just sign in right away. so i'll just log in first, i'll type in my password and make sure to provide again a working email so that you will not have problems later on. so let's say, for example, that you have done um, creating your account, and this page will appear. so let's go back to shopify and the payments method. as you can see, you need your merchant code and your secret word. so to do that, go to integrations and then make sure that you are in the web hooks and api. so let's say, for example, you forgot this video. you may go to shopify and again read all of this, since everything is um the same. so again go to web books and api and right here you may see your merchant code. so simply copy this one and paste it right here, and then your secret word or secret key is right here. make sure to click on the i button first and then copy it and paste it right here as well. so you may check on the credit card providers, such as visa, mastercard, american express, jcb, discovery and diners club. so if you don't want diners club, you may uncheck it and etc. you may enable to check on enable test mode so that you may see what are the things needed in order for the customer to pay your product. so click on activate, found on the lower right corner, if you are already done, and then you may now go back to the shopify store type in shopifycom. make sure to log in and then go to your store. so once you are in your store, let's just wait for it. you may now go back to products and then make sure that this product status from draft. you may um turn it into active. so let's just click on more actions and click on set us active and wait for it to load. as you can see, now your product is active, so it can be seen on your store and you have already set up your payment method, which is good, so that they may pay for this product, so t.

How To Setup SHOPIFY Payments (Simple Method)

hey guys, Dean, here in today's Shopify video, I'm going to be running you through how to set up Shopify payments on your Shopify Drop Shipping Store. this allows you to accept any kind of payments which people are going to send you, typically when you sell any product on your dropshipping store, and this is a really important thing, because when people pay you, you want to go straight to your bank account, right, and we're going to set up all the different payment methods, or at least show you how that process actually works, to make sure you can accept payments as soon as you get sales on Shopify. now, typically, this is going to be based on how you want your store to be set up, right, so there's options to get paid directly to PayPal, which is obviously going to benefit a lot of people who just want quick payments and Easy System. PayPal has some pretty good security, but they mainly do favor the buyer of the seller in a lot of situations, and obviously you can receive direct card payments using stripe, which is shopify's partner too. so let's take a look at the Shopify dashboard and go on the shop, provide payments, and I'll explain everything from that. so here we are in the Shopify dashboard on one of my stores and basically, I'm going to show you how to set up the Shopify AI payments. so the first thing, what we need to do, guys, is just click on settings in the bottom left and it'll take you to your dashboard for your store here. okay, I have my store over here. I've just blurred out some of the crucial information, but we're going to click on the payment section on the left over here, and from here let's just take a look at all the payment options which Shopify give us as an option. so this is how we're going to accept payments from all of our customers and how we're going to process those payments and transactions and how we're going to acquire money at the end of the day. so, basically, this payment capture over here. so, if we manage this, this is the customer's payment method and how it's authorized and charged, and, by default, that's going to be on automatik. so there's the choice between automatik and manual capture. automatik captures payments for all the orders automatikally and the method is authorized and charged automatikally too, whereas if we select manually, you'll capture the payment method and it's authorized at the time of the order and you'll need to manually capture the payment within the authorization period. so this just adds another extra step in the process, which you just really don't need to do unless you just want to manually specifically look at every single order. you don't need to select manual because it's just going to add another step in the process and you want to be saving time here. so I wouldn't change that. I'd leave it on default and, as you can see down here, I have PayPal already active. that's what I activated it first and these are the additional payment methods. so the main payment system, Shopify payments- I will show you that in a few moments- but the additional payment methods- if you just want to sell PayPal, you can kind of just set that up instead. basically, PayPal is the main provider I'm using. the reason why I think PayPal is personally pretty good is because they have a zero percent transaction fee, and this basically means that when people make a purchase using PayPal on your store, you won't have to pay a cut of that towards PayPal for that sale. so that's really useful, or at least the customers also won't need to have a transaction fee. also, too, we can also click on ADD payment methods to add more, and you click manage on PayPal and over here I've connected my PayPal account. so typically, if you were to create a brand new store on Shopify, it'd have an option to activate the PayPal feature and then also link your PayPal account directly to your store, and that's how you would actually set it up. you'd be basically then log into your PayPal, get a code through your phone and then authorize it through Shopify to allow the permission for Shopify to use your account, and then you link it. it's a pretty easy process to set up the PayPal Express checkout. it allows you to receive payments in foreign countries with PayPal. so usually with a store you'd have to set up so many different Nationals and locales and set up each country and the taxes that people pay for those different countries and zones. but if you set up Paypal, it just does all for you. it's a very simple thing to do. if you don't have a PayPal account and you want to do some kind of e-commerce online, I really recommend setting up. okay now, I originally had a Paypal because I used to use it for eBay and for online work, but if you haven't got a PayPal, I think you're really sleeping on it because it's the easiest way to sell up. the only downside is, like I said before, PayPal do typically favor the buyers rather than the sellers. I've never really seen very good protection for sellers on PayPal. when we get to the stage where you may have refunds and chargebacks when using PayPal, it's probably the worst, but it is the safest and easiest payment process to use and I can't even moves along the heavy lifting and it's just really simple to set up. guys, you also have Amazon pay as well, so there's not many websites which typically you really seem to use Amazon pay, but you would click activate Amazon pay and you have to register as a merchant on Amazon for this right. so I would select United Kingdom and if you want to set up Amazon pay, you have to create an Amazon payments merchant account and basically the certain requirements needed to set up this account. so your online store must live and be accessible with products available for purchase. obviously, this is going to be your Shopify store, so you need to have products already activated in the store when you set this up and they must follow Amazon's acceptable use policy. so you need to obviously agree to their terms of service on their platform and you need to specifically specify the URLs you're going to use for their payment processor, which would be your Shopify URL and certain countries. there's certain revenue and turnover requirements, some items that you'll need when setting up. they'll need your image of your passport so they can do some kind of facial recognition and identity information regarding you, too, and details about your business- any vat numbers or business codes you need to provide- and that's how they do identity verification. just like on cryptokurrency platforms, when you want to sell crypto or any government gateways and websites, you need to provide your passport, some kind of ID and facial recognition, such as a picture of yourself, to actually verify it's you. it's kind of similar when you set up an Amazon Seller Central account to sell on Amazon or do Amazon FBA. you'll basically have to do a webcam live chat with one of Amazon's support reps and they'll verify it's you. that's what I had to do. I had to do like 30 minute or 20 minute call with an Amazon rep. I don't think you have to do that with this, but it's a similar thing where they need to verify your identity right and you need to register with Amazon pay and after registration, you check Seller Central and this is the One-Stop shop for updates. so, just like selling on Amazon, you use Seller Central just like an Amazon vendor would when you sell products on Amazon. so that's how to set up Amazon. if you want to use Amazon pay, that's another method. I'd recommend PayPal. it's much easier and you don't have to use a third-party platform as much, because you're gonna have to refer to the Amazon platform a lot more than you would have to log into PayPal. now, manual payment methods are payments made outside your online store. so if a customer wants to do a manual payment method, like cash on delivery, you'll need to approve this. I wouldn't recommend doing cash on delivery. cash on delivery is, for an example, if I was to do cash and delivery on an ebay account, that would mean where if I sell a product, such as a piece of furniture.

Shopify Payments Setup 2022 | Shopify For Beginners

shopify payment setup. hi guys, welcome back to another video, and in this video, i'm going to be telling you how you can set up payments within shopify. so, having said that, let's just jump into the video. so i'm over here on shopify right now and what you'll do is just simply log in right now, if you already have an account, you can just simply log in. if you don't, you can just sign up by entering in your email address over here and starting your free trial. uh, there is a pricing plan, however, so let me just show you, if you were interested in that one. so, over here, as you can see, these are the plans. we have: the basic, the shopify and the advance. you can see their payments over here, how much they cost. the basic one is going to be 29 per month, the shopify is going to be 79 and the advanced one is going to be 299, and you can see all of the rates and features that they have over here, and if you scroll down, you can see more stuff as well. over here, you can see more features as well within each plan in a more comprehensive and detailed manner, so that you can know which plan you want to try out. but yeah, then you're good to go. so first, i'm just simply going to go ahead and log into my store and i'll show you how you can set up payments. so we'll just simply log in into my store over here now. once you have logged in, you've arrived over to your dashboard, or your admin. what you're going to do is you scroll down. what you're going to do is just navigate yourself over here at the bottom left corner, click on settings and open up settings, and over here you will see you have billings plans, payments, checkouts and all of that. just simply click on payments and over here you will have three options. you will have payment providers, supported payment methods and manual payment methods as well. so, over here, choose whichever payment method you want and then, for example, if you wanted to have like payment providers, you just simply click on choose a provider and choose a provider from this list that you can see over here. if you want to add a payment method yourself, you can add that. over here. you can search for a payment method. over here, as you can see, we have visa, mastercard, diners and all of that. let's say you want a visa, mastercard, right, and then you will have skrill, ocean payments, ping pong checkouts to check out, convert plus i pay, hit pay, credit card, debit card- all of that. you can choose that, or you can add like a manual payment system, like a bank deposit, money order or cash on delivery. it all depends on you. so for me, i think that going into payment providers and choosing one of these is much better. like you will see, you will have if a payment method is not available in your country, it will just say unavailable within your country and it will show you the ones that are available at the top. so currently, to check out is available within my country, so i'm going to be choosing that one. it does support a very large number of cards, such as visa, mastercards, american express, discovery, jcb and diners club as well. yeah, so we're going to click onto checkouts account. we have a server error, but it still works. now. over here, you can choose which type of card you support, so i'll just support all of them and then, over here, they basically give you like a set up instruction on how to get it working. so they have like a 10 step account which is very simple to you know. get started. so, first things first, we have to create a to checkout account, so let's go ahead and click over here. actually, i need to open it up in under the tab so that it's much more convenient, so i'll just open it up in another tab over here. so over here, it's very simple. you can sign up for free by just simply clicking on this button over here and adding in your details, such as your first name, your last name, your business email, password, website and your country, and it's very easy. so over here, i'll just say i'll just enter in john doe and then, over here, we'll add in our business email, which is my temporary email. so i'll just go ahead and do that. i'll copy the email, come back over here and paste it, and then i'll enter in the password. and for the website, we'll just, you know, copy this one, copy the link address and come over here and paste it. i'll get rid of that. yeah, that looks good. then we have our country, we check the robot and then we click on. get started. there you go, it's done. now what we need to do is: what type of products do you want to sell with? to check out, online service, digital products for retail, offline service or others, since this is a shopify store. so we'll just say retail and we'll click on create account. now i do have to mention that creating a to checkout account is not easy, like it's not. it is easy, but it's just not very, you know, short. it's very detailed. you got to do a lot of things. you got to input a lot of information to actually get started with two checkouts account, which is pretty. you know hectik. they just ask you for a lot of information in order to actually get started with it. so over here they're: basically, if you are a partner slash seller, click here. so i don't think this is it. i haven't created my account, but i'll, let's see. yeah, okay, that works. so now we are here, we just have to activate our account. now, in order to activate your account, it's very simple: you have to input all this information, right? so before you start, you gotta provide this. you gotta add information about your business: you know your company name, your business type, where it is address, all of that. then you gotta input your financial details, such as the company registration id, uh, tax registration, ad id, annual online transaction volume and everything else. you will also have a stakeholders option over here. if you have some, you can go ahead and add your stakeholders over here. if not, you are good to go. then you have about your products and services. so you have to input your information about your product and all of the services that you provide. then you have account settings- okay, and then you have your documents as well. so you got to input your business document, company ownership document, tax identification, valid proof of address, other documents, and then, down below, you will have your summary. so you gotta make sure you input all of these information. then, once it's done, once you've submitted it, you wait for a couple of days to hear from to check out. they'll send you an email and then they'll activate your account and you are good to go. but, uh, since i don't have time for that and i don't have all this information, we'll just save that for later and i'll show you how you can basically activate it, right? I'm not pretty sure if this is like something that has to be happening with all the third parties. as you can see, I used Mercado and this one didn't ask for something like that. actually, we just needed to sign in. it was really really easy. but, once again, if you want to choose, like the, what you want to figure out, actually, what payment method, what that party, is it right for you? you want to choose here, just to enable the option that can be fittable for you. now, if we go into the checkout section you want, if you want, let's say, for example, that this is not optional- it's required for customers to create an account into your store. you want to check this account are required. and here, custom accounted method: you want to choose either a phone number, an email or just an email.
