Welcome to my YouTube channel where we will be learning how to add a new custom section with the ability to add raw HTML. In today's tutorial, we will learn how we can copy an existing section and create a new section using the same code but changing it to make it usable for raw HTML.

- In this tutorial, we will learn how to add raw HTML to a Shopify store using a custom section.

- By default, most free Shopify themes do not have a section where we can add raw HTML.


1. Navigate to the backend by going to /admin and click on online store.

2. Select the theme that you want to edit and click on Edit code.

3. Create a new section called Raw HTML.

4. Copy the code from the Rich text section and paste it into the Raw HTML section.

5. Rename the section to Raw HTML on lines 23 and 256.

6. Replace Rich text with Textarea on line 111.

7. Save the changes and go to the customize section to see if it's working.
