In this Shopify tutorial, we will be discussing how to sync inventory with your dropship supplier. It's important to ensure that your website is always up to date with the latest stock levels from your supplier to avoid any confusion or overselling of products.

Steps to Sync Inventory:

1. Login to your supplier's website and download their product files.

2. Use a dropshipper that provides inventory files, like Stok Sync, which is recommended by Global Crafts.

3. Upload the file to Stok Sync and select the column with the SKU code and the quantity.

4. Hide or unhide products based on their availability in stock.

5. Set up a schedule for Stok Sync to run and update your website's inventory every 24 hours.

6. Check the activity log to ensure that your inventory has been updated correctly.

Other Ways to Sync Inventory:

If your supplier doesn't provide a CSV file through a URL, there are other ways to sync inventory such as receiving a file through email, using FTP, or even connecting to their online QuickBooks.

Keeping your website's inventory up to date is crucial for any e-commerce business. By following these steps, you can easily sync your inventory with your dropship supplier and avoid any potential issues with overselling or stock discrepancies.

Editing Variants:

- Anton demonstrates how to edit a variant of a product that needs its inventory tracked

- He checks the track quantity box and changes the available quantity to reflect the current inventory

Configuring Shopee Inventory Sync From Shopify | Shopee & Lazada Connector For Shopify by OMNA.io

In this video, we will discuss the inventory sync functionality for Shopee integration. If you have already connected your Shopee seller account to Omna, follow these steps to enable inventory sync:

1. By default, all Shopee Integrations will be disabled.

2. Head over to the settings under the respective seller account under warehouse location mapping.

3. It will display all your Shopify Warehouse locations. Enable those that are relevant to you in which you want to sync the inventories from Shopify to Shopee.

4. Click on Save.

5. You can then hit back to overview and enable inventory sync.

6. The current status will show progress so the inventory state is running in the background.

7. Give it a couple of minutes and refresh the page. Once the status turns into success, it means that the initial inventory set has been completed successfully.

Product Listing Layouts:

1. Single Edit Mode - Mapping the Shopee SKU against Shopify SKU. This is the default auto-mapping logic that Omna has.

2. Bulk Edit Layout - Toggle on and off inventory sync on a per variant basis should there be a need for you to do that.

Live Demo:

1. Search for an item in Shopify.

2. Change the stock from 0 to 10.

3. Refresh the Shopify page to ensure that the quantity has been updated.

4. The quantity will reflect 10, and the inventory will update in real-time based on the values from Shopify.

Enabling inventory sync is a crucial step in ensuring that your inventory is synced between Shopify and Shopee. With the easy-to-follow steps and live demo, you can now easily update your inventory in real-time. Stay tuned for our next video, where we will be discussing how the other function works.
