Best Multi-Vendor Marketplace Apps for Shopify 2022

[Music]. what's going on? everyone? it's jamie here from shopify masterclass, and today we're going to take a look at the top multi-vendor marketplace apps for your shopify store. so this full list comes from our blog, ecommerce educated, where it's got a full list of the top multi-vendor marketplace apps. in today's video, we're just going to take a look at the top three here and go into detail in the shopify app listings, taking a look at their key features, their benefits, their screenshots, their pricing, as well as their reviews, so you can get a better understanding of the top apps in the space for this category and before i dive into it, i just want to quickly thank our sponsor, profitcalc, where you can start a 15 day free trial and get your accounting and profit calculations done in just one click with no more messing around with spreadsheets, and there's a link in the description to start a 15 day free trial [Applause]. so so let's head into the first app here, and it's called puppet vendors by panther commerce and allows for multi-vendor commissions and payout reporting. so it gives you good insights, automated reporting, as well as the tools you need to run a successful marketplace or drop shipping store on shopify. so in terms of the ui here we can see that it has a vendor login page as well as a white label section. you can set either percentage or flat rate, commission based on rates or deductions- all the information you will need to make informed business decisions about your vendor in a single page. here you can see the reports over quantity sold, total sales commissioned earned, as well as total payouts, along with much more information, allows for quick and simple onboarding with guided instructions. in terms of the pricing for this product, it starts at a 14 day free trial with 19 a month, going all the way up to 99 a month. one of the main differences between these prices look to be the number of vendors. we see 30 here to 100, all the way to unlimited vendors. in terms of the rating for this app, it's sitting at a very excellent 5 stars with 69 5 star reviews. we can see the last review here. it's 5 stars- and then some questions regarding the functionality and they received emails and calls from martin. he was helpful and let him know about the upcoming features and how they can better support the business model of this store. so overall looks like the reviews are saying good customer service. the second app we're going to take a look at is order fulfillment. guru by core collapse allows you to auto sign location, split in, route orders, as well as a multi-store sync. so if you work with multiple locations, vendors or dropshippers, this could possibly be a good app for your store. you can auto assign orders to a location. you can automatikally split orders and route orders to multiple vendors, suppliers, drop shippers, 3pl or warehouses via email, web, ship station and shopify. Starting A Multi Vendor Marketplace (What you need to know!)

what's up guys. i'm paul and welcome to my channel. so recently i've had a few comments and emails from people asking me about starting a multi-vendor marketplace and, as these are some of the most difficult types of e-commerce businesses to not only build but also make successful, i thought it'd be a good subject for one of my videos, and in this video i am going to explain the reasons why they are so difficult to build and make successful, and later in the video i'll also give some ways where you could potentially create a successful multi-vendor marketplace. now, when it comes to multi-vendor marketplaces, i do have some first-hand experience, because i do have a failed multi-vendor project on my resume. i also know all the people who have started them only for them to fail, and also people who are actively running multi-vendor marketplaces, currently with varying degrees of success. so i do have some insight into the multivendor world. so, with the introduction out of the way, let's get started. so the first reason why these businesses are so difficult to make successful is because you basically find yourself in a catch-22 situation, because, as the owner and operator of a multi-vendor marketplace, your job is to try and connect sellers with buyers, but if you don't have one, it's very difficult to attract the other one now out of these two parties. it is arguably easier to attract sellers. this is because people want to put their products in as many places as possible and if you're just launching, you may be able to create some hype around your marketplace and get sellers to invest in your vision effectively so that you can get them to sign up, list some products on your site and see what happens. but the problem is, if you're not attracting buyers, it's going to be very difficult to keep these sellers on your platform, because they want to have a return on their investment and they're more likely to invest time in other platforms or maybe their own website, where there's an increased chance of getting a return on their investment. and there can be a detrimental factor further down the line of attracting new sellers because there's lots of groups, forums, where people in same kind of industries basically interact with each other, and i see a lot on groups, especially in the dual trade, where they ask about all the marketplaces that are coming around, and if people have tried these marketplace and i've had no success with them, they will spread that message on and it can result in you struggling to get new sellers further down the line because previous sellers haven't had any success with your platform. but on the flip side of that, if you've got very few sellers, or even if you've got no sellers on your site, you're going to have little to no inventory that you can market and promote, and what this is going to mean is you're going to struggle to bring trafficking and you're definitely going to struggle to bring buyers in. and this is the part that most multi-vendor marketplaces struggle with is actually getting the traffic and buyers onto their site. and, as anybody who's ever run any kind of website will know, getting traffic to your site is incredibly difficult, whether it's a blog or it's an e-commerce website. traffic is usually the hardest thing to try and get on your site and with multi-vendor marketplaces, this can almost be exacerbated because your sellers are putting the pressure on you to bring all of these people in so they stay on their site and they actually continue to work with you to hopefully build this marketplace out. so it's this catch-22 situation that is the reason why most marketplaces fail, because it's a very difficult balancing act with keeping your sellers happy and also bringing in enough traffic to make it a viable proposition. so the second reason is the costs that are associated with not only building a multi-vendor marketplace but also the ongoing costs of running it, and generally this falls into two categories. the first one is the cost of your actual site and when it comes to multi-vendor marketplaces, there are some kind of cheaper options out there and a lot of people will be looking at kind of like multi-vendor marketplace plug-ins for things like woocommerce, and while these are a good kind of proof of concept option, if you are serious about building it and scaling it, you're gonna have to go with specific specialized multi-vendor marketplace software, because a lot of these plugins for woocommerce are kind of shoehorning this into woocommerce and basically it's not partikularly scalable and it is quite limited on features. this is where you're going to have to go with specialist software, and this stuff doesn't come cheap. the reason is there's not a mass market for it like there is with traditional kind of e-commerce software, and you could end up paying a lot for this- either a one-off payment for the software and then you're going to have monthly running costs, things like hosting, because a lot of the software is self-hosted, so you're going to have to pay for good quality hosting enabled to support all of the software and also the potential traffic that's going to be coming to your site. and another thing when it comes to the software is there's not many kind of easy off-the-shelf solutions available, not like with traditional e-commerce where you've got things like shopify and bigcommerce that are super easy to get set up and use. there's not these kind of options out there available for multi-vendor marketplaces, because it is quite a niche business and everyone wants to be very unique. so you are probably going to have some development costs as well, because you want it customized to fit your multi-vendor businesses brand. so this is something you do also need to factor in is how much that it could cost to actually build the site and also what your monthly running costs are going to be for things like hosting. so the second cost is the cost of marketing, which you, as the owner and operator of the site, are going to have to front to start with, because you're going to be the one who's going to have to push the website out there. it's not down to your sellers to promote the website, it's down to you and you're going to have to be paying these marketing fees to try and get traffic to your site. and, to start with. you're probably going to be investing way more in marketing than you're going to be getting back in terms of revenue through your site, and this is something you do need to bear in mind. and you also need to have quite a robust marketing strategy as well in order to generate any type of traffic, because, as i just mentioned, it's the main killer of multi-vendor marketplaces is the lack of traffic on the buyer's side. so you're going to have to have a very good marketing strategy, and you're also going to have to have a budget in place to implement that strategy. so the third reason is these are quite difficult businesses to make profitable because you have quite limited revenue streams available to you, and the ones that most people are going to think of are subscription fees, which are what you charge your sellers on a monthly basis, and also your transaction fees, or commission fee, whatever you want to call them, which is the fee you take off every sale. now you could also have things like running ads on your site, which could be another potential option for making money, but this is going to depend on the software you're using- this- whether you can actually run ads on your site. but we're just going to look at the main two options i've just toked about. so the first one of these is the subscription fee, and when you're just launching a multi-vendor marketplace, this is something you shouldn't even be considering, because you're probably going to have a tough time convincing sellers to invest their time into setting up a store on your site, let alone trying to charge them for the privilege as well. this is something you should only really consider implementing on your multi-vendor marketplace w.

Shopify Markets Full Tutorial | Globalize Your Shopify Store

in september 2021, shopify launched shopify markets, which allows you to sell internationally from your shopify store. it allows you to convert your store into multiple different currencies, it allows you to translate your storefront into different languages, it allows you to add local payment methods to your checkout, depending on which country your customer is coming from, and it also allows you to add custom domains to your store, depending on which country your customer is coming from. so in today's tutorial, i'm going to be showing you how to set up shopify markets for your drop shipping and e-commerce shopify stores. so let's get straight into it. so the first thing you're going to have to do is sign up for shopify markets, so we'll leave a link in the description to the shopify markets sign up page, so you can just go to shopify dot co, uk slash markets or shopifycom markets, depending on which country you're in, or you can just google sign up for shopify markets. all you then need to do is click on login to get started, and it will ask you to log in to your shopify store, and then you can just click apply for access for shopify markets. once you click on apply for access, hopefully after a few weeks you should receive an email like this, which will say: we're excited to let you know that your store has been selected for early access to shopify markets. from here, it will say: you can now navigate to the shopify markets in your admin. so just click on here in the email. it will then bring you to your shopify settings and then you will be in the shopify markets area. so from here, you can add a market, which basically means you can add a country that you want to start selling to. so all you need to do is click on add market. now, from here, you can choose a market name. so this is going to be the country or region that you want to target. so i can come in here. let's just say spain, for example. then you can add countries and regions, so you can choose a bunch of countries or just one country. so let's say, for example, i chose south america. i could go and add all of the south american countries to my market, but for this example, i'm just going to use one country. so we are just going to go and type in spain, and then i'm just going to go and choose this and click on done. now, from here, all you need to do is hit save. and now from here, it will bring you to that market and it will say: active. so there are a few things that we need to set up in order to actually start selling to this international market. so the first thing we are going to set up is the domains and languages. so we are going to go to manage and from here it's going to say market domains and subfolders. so under the subfolders it will automatikally set up a suffix for this market. so you can see it's put es, which is going to be for spain. so i'm just going to leave that as the default. but you can name it differently if you want to, but i do recommend just leaving it as the default that shopify recommends. next up, we are going to want to add a language to this market. so, because this is for spain, i'm going to want to add spanish as the language. so in order to do this, it's going to say: select the languages to offer customers in this market. you can manage these languages in shop languages. so we're going to click on shop languages. now, from here, we are going to add a language. so we're going to click on add a language and then from here, we are going to go and choose our language. so i'm just going to scroll down until i see spanish, and then i'm just going to click on this and i'm going to hit add. now, from here, we're going to need to translate our store into that language. so in order to do this, it's going to say: visit the shopify app store in order to translate our store. so we're going to click on visit shopify app store. from here, it's going to show us all of the apps that will allow us to translate our store. so we are going to look for an app called convey this. so we're going to go to search and we are going to type in convey this and now just hit enter. from here, you will see the app that says language translate: convey this. so we are going to click on this and from here we can add this app. now, this app only allows you to translate your store into one other language, so be slightly selective about which language you want to translate your store into. so i'm going to choose spanish, of course, but if you want to go and translate your store into french or into another language, then just prioritize the language that you want to translate your store into, because if you want to translate into multiple different languages, you do have to go for the premium version of this app, so we're just going to go and click on add app and start with the free version. from here, we are going to click on install app. now, once you hit install app, you should be brought to the convey this dashboard. that will look a little something like this, and from here, we are going to hit settings. now, alternatively, you might automatikally be brought over to this page. now, from here, we're going to choose our domain name. we are going to choose our website, tiknology, which will be shopify, and we are going to hit next step. once you click on that, you should be brought over to your settings again, and from here, you can now choose your target language. now, like i say, on the free plan of convey this, you can only choose one language. so you can just come in here. if we just get rid of this, you can just come in here and type in the language you want. so we're just going to choose spanish and then you can just hit save. now, from here, we want to translate the pages on our store. so we're going to go to my translations now. under my translations, it should automatikally pick up your store. so you can see it has picked up my store- the english and spanish version, and then the spanish and spanish version, so it has translated all of the words on my store. so now that we have done this, we can head back to our shopify markets area and start setting up some of the currencies. so from your shopify dashboard, you are going to now click on settings and from here we are going to click on markets. so now, from here, we can go to domains and languages. again we can click on manage, and now, from here, what we can do is we can go and add our language. so, once again, where it says select languages, we are going to go to shopify languages and now, from here, if we scroll down, we will see spanish. so we are going to hit publish on spanish now, and now that we have published that, it will say: customers in supported regions will be prompted to shop in their local language. so we can click on manage in geolocation app. it will then bring you over to this geolocation app and it will show you what your store is going to look like, depending on which country your customer is arriving from. so what we can do is we can go and test this out now. so, if we go and change this from the united kingdom, we can go and choose spain, and now that we have chosen spain, we can go and choose our language, which will be spanish, and now we can see that this is what our store will look like. so it's all coming up in spanish. so that is perfect. so now we can just close this. so that is going to be the default. so, once again, now we can head back to our shopify markets. so we're just going to go and hit settings and from here, once again, we're going to go to domains and languages. we are going to hit manage and now from here, if we scroll down, we are going to choose spanish and we are going to hit save. so now that we have saved that, we can scroll up and we can hit this back button and we can set up the currency. so we can go to currency and pricing and we can hit manage and now, from here, you can go and choose the currency that you want to use for this market. so you can see, for me, it's automatikally set me up with euros, which is the currency for spain. it's using an automatik conversion rate to convert it from pounds to euros and it's also rounding it automatikally to 95 cents for all of my pr.

Make $1000/Day With Shopify WITHOUT SALES (2022)

What’s going on, guys? Matthew Sabia, here In this video I’m going to show you exactly how I used to make $300 to $1000 a day with Shopify without driving any traffic or sales. Now I know that sounds pretty crazy, but if you stik with me for the next couple of minutes, I’m going to show you exactly how it’s done and give you the exact blueprint and the exact templates that I used, and you guys are going to be set to go. But before we do that, please click the like button down below this video. As always, let me know if you have any questions at all. in the comments down below. I try to reply to every single one And click the little notification bell next to the subscribe button. I’m running these polls every week to find out what videos you guys want to see on this channel. So If you want to partikipate and give me an idea of what you guys want to see, make sure you turn that on. So, without further ado, let’s hop right into the video. So the business model is essentially this… You’re going to be building and selling what are called starter sites. Start sites are pre-built Shopify websites. So you know you find a niche, you put a logo on there. design a nice looking website, add 50 to 100 products through something like Oberlo. But here’s where the real value comes in. You’re also going to be setting up Instagram profiles for every one of your clients. So, instead of just getting a website, you’re basicity, giving them a pre-packaged business that they can start growing, driving traffic and making money form right away. So I have videos on my YouTube channel on how to grow Instagram profiles if you guys want to check that out. Or you can just have it all set up, post some niche related photos and you also want to build a Facebook page for them. It’s very simple. you know Facebookcom/CreatePage or whatever it is. Set up a Facebook page, connect it to the store so they can start running ads, if they want, on Facebook right away. So you’re building these pre-packaged, plug-and-play businesses that want-to-be entrepreneurs can take and run right form the get go Now. I taught this one girl how to do this. she used to be a personal trainer and she does this full time now. so you guys can use this as a great side hustle just to make some extra income to sublimest what you’re already doing or make a full time business out of it. She actually made $3000 her first week with only a handful of websites. Now, no, it’s not exactly typical, but if you guys want, you can actually get upwards of $1000 for these websites. if you add thousands of products, design really beautiful websites, really grow their social media profiles, do some social media marketing, you can really push how much you can sell these for. If you guys look in my email, I still have all the receipts form the Shopify Exchange showing that I would get these $1000 sales over and over again. So, without further ado, let’s hop onto my computer. I’m going to show you how to find a niche, how to set up the quick websites, some examples of other websites that I would sell, and after that we’re also going to go over how and where to list these websites to get some sales. So let’s hop onto my computer and let’s get started. Okay, so here we are on my computer. let’s go ahead and get started. So I’m just going to open up my browser right here and I want you guys to head over to ExchangeMarketplacecom. This will take you to the main Shopify Exchange website where you can view other listings, buy and sell websites, and this is the main platform you’re going to be using. I recommend you guys start here because, just like selling something on eBay, the best way to see what’s already working and what people are wanting to buy is looking at other sold listings. Now, before we do that, you can actually head up here to browse. go to industry and you can just browse through the starter stores section. There are the type of websites that you guys are going to be selling, so you can get an idea of what other people are actively listing. but if you go back up here to browse, you can also look at the sold stores. This is the best place, in my opinion, to see the type of niches that other people are interested in, what they’re buying, and then you can try to reverse engineer this for yourself. So you can go into these listings here and, like I said in the first part of the video, the thing I like about the Shopify Exchange vs something like Flippa or classified listings is these numbers are pretty damn accurate. Now, yes, there are some ways to game the system, but it’s very, very hard on the Exchange because it’s directly integrated with your Shopify store. The website is run by Shopify themselves. So, EveryThingAGirlWantscom, let’s go ahead an check that out. You can see it’s like a fashion jewelry type store and there’s some beauty stuff on here it looks like. So that’s pretty interesting. let’s go back here, and you usually just want to browse through a couple of these and get a good idea of what people are looking for. So if you guys look here, a common thing we’re starting to see is this fashion, beauty, women’s niche kind of stuff like that. That’s usually a pretty popular and succesful niche. It’s pretty easy to sell because they’re usual impulse buys, which I always recommend you guys look for. Here’s another one. It looks like it’s in the same niche: MotherOfClothescom. It looks like a maternity clothing type website. that’s also a big niche. So going through the sold listings is one of the best ways to find different niche ideas, because these are websites that people have already paid money for. Now another great place you can look is a website called Thieve. Now, if you guys so a lot of drop shipping stuff, you’ve probably seen this before. I wouldn't necessarily recommend using a simple tool like this to find products yourself, but it is a great way to find different trending products, which is what you want to aim for. So if we just look down here, we can look through these different categories on the left hand side, see if anything stiks out to us. One thing I kind of like in partikular is this cool kind of vintage coin necklace. Maybe the seller has other similar ones like this and you can build like a whole website around these and try and go off of like that partikular trend. They have gold and silver ones. What I would look for is if they have different type of coin necklaces. If they have some stuff like that, maybe you really have a winner on your hands, or if not, even if they just have something that’s very similar. So if we go into necklaces here- Yeah, they do. These are all very similar products, do you guys can really build a little brand for a website around this? one partikular seller on AliExpress- Another great niche I think a lot of people are really underutilizing. I’m going to use my partner, Adam Young’s website here as an example. this is a website he runs, MyCosplayHerocom. We really just started to ramp this up and helping him put this together- and this website right here sells different cosplay items. This is a very big niche that people spend a decent amount of money on. It’s a pretty simple website. we have a really nice logo here, but it is very effective. we’re already starting to make a decent amount of sales every month with free traffic, and this would be a prime example of a starter site that you guys could throw together within a couple of hours. You can go on Oberlo, which we’ll get into in a moment, add a bunch of these products in here, design a quick logo- also something we’re going to go over- and you guys can flip this website for an easy $300 to $500 on the Exchange. Another reason you guys are going to get such a great profit for these website is what I recommend doing is packaging social media accounts with the websites. For an example For this website here, we put together this little Instagram account and got it up to around a thousand followers. we post different niche related images. product i.
