Shopify Partners, l’Excellente Plateforme pour Devenir Freelance

c'est une activité qui va, au début, vous demander beaucoup de temps, que vous allez aussi devoir investir des sommes, et c'est que qu'au bout d'un long moment, que voilà, la pompe à eau s'est enclenchée, que la même, en faisant plus d'effort, vous allez avoir beaucoup de retours sur investissement. mais au début, c'est très, très long à prendre. et moi, souvent, dans mes prestations, bas, je vois, je discute un petit peu avec les prospects, ou qui est ce qu'ils deviennent clients. bah, ils sont souvent, ils ont été, ils ont souscrit à plusieurs formations, qu'ils ont déjà avant les sites, des grandes sommes, alors qu'ils sont encore dans le modèle du salariat et que donc, forcément, quand vous investissez dans une formation à mi 2000 euros, on parle de deux mois de salaire. donc, c'est forcément très compliqué. même en mettant 25 % d'économie par mois, ça demande, voilà, quatre mois d'économies dans une formation, et ensuite, après, il faut quand même pas pouvoir avoir de l'argent pour enrichir le pixel facebook, pour avoir les bonnes images, les bonnes vidéos, etc. donc, c'est clair que lee commerce- et pas même si vous êtes sur un sms, que vous n'avez pas besoin de faire appel un développeur web, que vous avez juste besoin de payer un abonnement à 30 euros par mois- au final, ya quand même quelques applications par ci par là. vous le savez aussi bien que moi, et c'est quand même un business où il ya une plus grosse. enfin, vous devez mettre plus d'argent que si vous ne le faisiez avec un blog, par exemple. donc, voilà ça que je parle souvent avec ces personnes, de ça et donc cette conférence. le un soir que j'avais vu sur lyon, c'était de coupler le business offering singh. et c'est exactement moi ce que je fais également. je propose des prestations de design, mais j'ai toujours un pas dans les commerces et grâce bas à l'argent que j'en récolte, de les prestations, ça me permet pas déjà dans vivre, mais également de pouvoir ensuite, à l'avenir, avoir plus de ressources financières, délégué plus efficacement et, du coup, construire quelque chose avec une meilleure force de frappe, un meilleur effet de levier et le freelancing, au final, c'est quoi? c'est quelque chose, c'est tout l'inversé d'un business, c'est à dire, vous pouvez très, très rapidement commencé au et avoir des revenus à peu près récurrents. donc, soit parce que vous avez une offre récurrentes, soit parce que vous arrivez à trouver régulièrement des clients, et voilà. après ça, c'est à vous de déterminer sur quelles offres vous pouvez vous positionner, sur quelle voie là, sous quelle forme vous voulez faire cette offre, donc récurrente ou etc. mais encore une fois, juste pour vous ouvrir l'esprit, des choses aussi simples que des prestations de réseaux sociaux à la boulangerie du coin, à l'artisan du coin, ça peut lui donner une valeur énorme et pour vous, c'est la base juste de construire une page. je vous demande même pas de lui faire des publicités qui sont rentables, je vous demande juste de créer une page, de créer ne serait-ce qu'une publication par jour. donc, si vous le faites pour un mois et que vous chargez sa 500 euros par mois, ça ne vous demande pas forcément beaucoup de travail. vous pouvez même le faire vous même. vous avez juste à publier 30 publications en étant de focus sur le journée. vous pouvez le faire et après, vous pouvez le délégué à quelqu'un qui, lui, il, vous demandera 100 euros par mois et vous, tout simplement, vous avez trouvé un contrat et vous faite une marche de 400 euros par mois. voyez ces des exemples. mais mes bateaux, mais vous avez tout à faire. moi, j'ai décidé de l'offrir, de partir sur une prestation webdesign. je fais, entre guillemets, du one shot, c'est à dire, bien évidemment, si les clients, ils souhaitent avoir accès à d'autres services. j'ai plusieurs offres au delà de l'appréciation web design, mais c'est sur celle que je communique et souvent, dans la majorité des cas, les personnes font la prestation webdesign et voilà, c'est du one shot. je n'ai pas dû récurrent chaque mois et c'est mon offre. récurrentes. ça serait, par exemple, mais coaching, e-commerce, ou bah, c'est pas forcément récurrent, mais c'est ponctuellement à la demande du client. il peut me demander une séance de coaching, soit sur l'entrepreneuriat, les commerces, le mindset, et je peux le débloquer à ce sujet là. mais vous voyez, en fait, coupé le freelancing au business à d'énormes avantages, parce que déjà, vous apprenez à développer des process dans le freelancing et ça vous permet pas de progresser sur beaucoup d'aspects. qui vous sera utile ensuite pour votre business. vous avez évidemment bain, un accès à un revenu qui sera sans doute en dents de scie au début, mais au moins vous aurez accès à un revenu. c'est déjà mieux que rien et tout simplement va. vous mettrez moins de pression financière parabole par rapport à votre business et vous lui laisserait le temps de décoller. et le jour où, ensuite, bas, les revenus de votre business commence à égaler les revenus de votre de votre activité en freelancing et bas après. c'est à vous de décider si vous souhaitez arrêter l'activité de freelancing concentré.

hi everyone. let's get to our topic of the day and the first of our webinar series in this partner accelerator program. today we will learn about the shopify partner program, and i thank you once again for joining us this session. i thought giving you a sense of the scale of the shopify platform would be a good starting point for our discussion today, and what better than real numbers to make a point. but before we dive into these numbers, let's quickly understand what is shopify. shopify is the leading global commerce company, providing plus the tools to start, grow, market and manage a retail business of any size. shopify makes commerce better for everyone with a platform and services that are engineered for reliability while delivering a better shopping experience for consumers everywhere. getting to the numbers now: we have over 1.7 million merchants across 175 countries. all these merchants are being supported by partners like you. as you can see, we've had over 30k partners who've referred at least one merchant in the last 12 months- and this data is from june 2020- and the partner payouts in 2019 alone was over 180 million dollars. once we dive into the details of the partner program, you will see how you could earn via this partnership. here is another slide with some more recent numbers. what you see is from shopify's economic impact report in 2020. the first two bullet points are partner specific and the numbers are huge. our partners generated 12.5 billion dollars in revenue in 2020.. our partners collectively earn more than four times the revenue of shopify in 2020 and we are very proud of that. the other numbers show the overall impact. i'll take a five second pause and let you comprehend the scale of our impact we've had in 2020 alone and what we could do together going forward. meet our merchants. here are the faces of some of our merchants from southeast asia before we dive into the core agenda of our session. they have trusted shopify to be the home of their online business and by doing so, they make our partner ecosystem a core part of their business. all these photos were clicked during merchant photo shoots that we conducted across the region to build some inspiring content about their respective entrepreneurial journeys. for example, the merchant business on the top right is run by a husband and a wife. they are based in ho chi minh city, vietnam, and sell traditional vietnamese attires. the other merchants, mostly from the philippines, sell a wide variety of products, ranging from musical instruments to food and beverages. by now, after seeing some of those numbers earlier and now our merchants. i hope you're excited to collaborate and be part of the shopify ecosystem soon. great, now that you have a fair understanding of shopify and a merchant community in the region. uh, let's look at how you could contribute to the this story and, of course, grow together. we will discuss the shopify partner program today: the various types of partnerships, how to earn, via each type of partnership, your opportunity in the region. navigating the partner dashboard that we provide you once you sign up. share resources with you, which we recommend you look at post the session before we moved into the q. a. all right, meet our partners. once again, seeing is believing, so meet our partners. most of our partners that you see on the slide are from southeast asia. we conducted a photo shoot again to capture their partner journeys- and the partners you see in the four corners of the slide are from singapore and vietnam. they offer a wide variety of services to our merchants, ranging from web development, web design, digital marketing to also building apps for their businesses. i hope to see all of you join us on this journey. what is the shopify partner program? uh, in simple terms, the partner program is a business partnership between shopify and web app and team development agencies, content creators, marketeers, service providers and other e-commerce related companies that allows them to earn revenue by working closely with the shopify platform. every business is different and has its own priorities, and we appreciate that. we want you to choose your area of interest, to engage with our merchants and us. on that note. it is also important to note that our partnership is unified under this partner program, offering, as you grow and do more as a partner. this program is designed in a way to help you get more recognition, earn badges, partikipate in exclusive projects and much more. for example, if you aspire and are the right fit to become a plus partner, the shopify partner program will help you get there. there are- these are the broad categories of of our partners- uh, firstly, store development, and i would assume, based on the sign ups, most of you would fall under this category. i believe, again, this is applicable for freelancers and agencies in the web development space. partikularly, you will help refer and build stores for new bunches on shopify or work with existing merchants to make them successful. that's, that's the objective for store development partners. for referrals: uh, for every referral, you want a 20 monthly revenue share. on the merchant subscription fee for the lifetime of the merchant. you will learn more about the various subscription plans in our how to sell shopify session uh next week. i quickly wanted to touch upon the plus two referrals here, which is our enterprise plan. commissions paid out to non-plus partners is 10, while it is 20 for plus partners. again more on how to become a plus partner later this week in our next session. app developers: if you want to build plugins, we call them apps for our app store. that solves for so many use cases, please feel free. the revenue share is 80- 20 with 80 going to our app partners. the billing integration can be done in a variety of ways. details again will be covered in how to build on shopify session uh theme. there are two options. first is a 70 revenue share model for our partners where the partner is responsible for bug fixes, answering support questions. with this option the theme can also be sold on personal channels like company websites. for option 2, it is a 50 revenue share model, while support will be provided by shopify and the theme cannot be sold through other channels. again, details of theming will be covered in the how to build. build on shopify session affiliates: uh, this is mostly for bloggers and influencers who can create content and use the referral link we provide to retro merchants to shopify. the revenue share here is a 200 bounty payout, which is uh paid out in two installments. for example, if a merchant signs up on our basic plan at twenty nine dollars a month, the affiliate partner will get paid fifty eight dollars uh paid out in two months, provided the merchant has been a paying customer for both months. we then have strategic partners like payment and shipping partners. these partnerships are tailor-made based on the one-on-one alignment we have with the broader common goals. please remember that you can choose to fit into one or more types of partnerships that we have discussed so far. you are also not restricted by geography and you can choose to refer to work. you can choose to refer or work with merchants from across the globe. opportunity for partners now, based on what we, or you've learned so far, let's dive into the opportunity ahead for us together. uh, the first line item highlights the feedback we've received from merchants, highlighting their key asks from shopify to be able to grow. as you can see, all of these require the help of partners like you, and merchants in south east asia prefer working with local partners. approximately 70 percent of the work that our partners from this region do are with local merchants, and our tens of thousands of merchants in the region right now have access to very limited existing partner network. with e-commerce as a vertikal experience experiencing exponential growth, i believe it is a good time for you to consider this partnership and do more with sho.

Learn to Code Shopify in 2021 [FULL CURRICULUM]

hi guys. so in today's video i wanted to cover how you can get started coding shopify sites in 2021.. i've been coding shopify sites for about a year now for myself and my clients and, honestly, i haven't seen a very good resource out there for you know what steps you should take to get started coding. there's plenty of resources for getting started making a store and whatnot, but as far as coding- uh, you know it's- i think it's fairly sparse and with this guide, i'm trying to give you resources that you can use to learn how to code quickly so you can start to work on coding your own shopify store as quickly as possible. so just a really quick introduction to web development in general. almost any website you're coding on the internet. you're gonna have to learn how to code three uh, different programming languages. the first is html. html is sort of the structure of a web page. css is the second. css generally controls your styles on your web page: how things look, not where they are, that would be html, but how things look. that's css. and the third is javascript. that's for any logic that you need to put on your page. it's like for calculations for things that need to be tweaked on the fly that sort of thing. the final language that you're going to need to learn to code shopify sites is liquid. this is unique to shopify, but liquid is basically the way that you're going to be able to, in your code, communicate with shop data that you have stored on shopify as far as, like, product titles, customer data, collection titles- you know data data concerning whatever goes with your store. so if we first think about html, css and javascript, the hands down the best resource i've found for a beginner to learn these things on the web is called the odin project, and so what the odin project does is it's basically an online boot camp. um, that was made by a guy who actually went to an in-person boot camp for coding. he came out of it and he said: you know what we? you could probably do this online, and so what he did was he tried to collect all the best resources as far as learning the web development on the internet and put them together into cohesive curriculum that people can work their way through. now there's several different tracks on the odin project. there's the foundations path, which you can see here. you have your full stack ruby on rails path and then your full stack javascript path i would recommend to you to do, just to get started. just do the foundations course, um. it's a very brief overview on, like front end, back end stuff. just by doing that you're gonna get your feet wet, um, and you're gonna get a feel for, like, what this is like and what sort of stuff you can start to do with your shopify store. a few notes about the odin project. it's very focused on project-based learning, uh, and this is really great for developing or web development, because you'll learn very quickly with coding. the most learning you do is when you're actually doing projects and you're actually doing the code, when you're actually just, you know, sitting there and reading through resources. yes, you're learning and obviously that's sort of a prerequisite to be able to do any projects, but you do the bulk of your learning by the doing. i can take you guys in here for a little bit so you can see, basically you have this front end section. it takes you through like html and css basics or whatever. then at the end of it there's this project and you can see just each of these uh sort of modules has these projects at regular intervals. so if we go into one of these lessons, like, let's go to fundamentals part one here. so you know, they give you like a sort of an introduction at the beginning of the lesson. they start teaching you about um, very like. they start teaching you about the different topics and then you can see this is linked here and they have this variables tutorial, right, and this is like from javascriptinfo, which is a completely separate website to them. right, they've compiled these resources together and these resources, in my experience, they're like top of the top of the line, very quality resources. everything in the odin project and actually everything i'm going to mention in this video is free to use. you can see they have these additional resources at the end. i would advise you check out all the additional resources. don't feel compelled to like work your way through every single additional resource, but if something is catching your fancy, um, definitely look into it and that's how you're gonna do the bulk you're learning is just like just getting really immersed and interested in this stuff, guys. the other thing with the projects, too, don't feel compelled like. you don't need to do their projects. they list right like, let's say, um, you know, here they have this, uh, this like calculator project or whatever, if you guys want to do something for your website. instead. if you guys need to do like something, some project with similar functionality on your shopify site, then just, you know, do your project on your shopify site right, like, don't, don't be like, you don't need to stik to their specific projects as long as you're exercising the same skills. definitely check out the odin project. i'm going to leave links for all these resources in the description of this video that should teach you the basics of html, css and javascript. the next language we're gonna be learning is liquid, and so, with the odin project, i would imagine it's gonna take you, you know, it depends how much time you're devoting to it, but it'll probably take you maybe a month to work through that. okay, so the next uh resource is: is this uh basic liquid tutorial for um that shopify has put up on their github and you, basically, you just want to go through this, just learn about, like you know, the operators, truth, values and whatnot, types, stuff like that very brief overview of liquid. this is going to take you, you know, an hour or two max to look at, but you're going to be glad that you did, because before you try to delve into this stuff, you look at like liquid. it's like all these brackets and there's like percent signs everywhere and you're like what on earth is going in or going on? this is, this is literally going to, you know, sort of allay, that that um overwhelm or that overwhelming nature of liquid, and you're really going to get a feel for like, okay, this is how you make a variable, this is how you do stuff with the very. once again, you know, if we go back to the idea that, like you do, you learn most through doing right while you're checking this out, right, you know, run some of the examples in this like liquid sandbox that i have linked. it'll allow you to. you know, type in some code like right, here, they're assigning my variable to tomato and then they're printing it with this um thing that that makes it uppercase, right so, and then you see it printed out: tomato, all uppercase. so, yeah, so just run some of these, make your own, just play around with it. that's how you learn this stuff, guys. just immersing yourself in it, playing around with it. the next resource that i want to show you guys- this is really cool- is this: coding examples for liquid. so shopify has published all of these coding examples for um liquid code. if we're thinking like: okay, we want to see how do you make a collection page. this isn't going to work with every theme, especially like custom themes that you guys have uploaded yourself, but like this is generally how you would make a collection page in shopify. just looking at this stuff, it's going to give you a feel for, like the coding conventions that shopify uses, how they want you to code things, and you know it'll give you inspiration, ideas of like, okay, if this is how you can create a collection page, maybe i want a collection page and then i want to combine it with something else and i can either copy paste from here or i can, you know, copy paste certain things or just take inspiration. it'll also just give you more of a feel for like, this is what liquid looks like. this is how liquid works. the next thing, th.
