How to set up Seller Shopify store Connector App | Multivendor Marketplace App for Shopify (2022)
[Music]. so in this video we'll be discussing about cellular shopify store connector feature app. so this app allows your sellers to connect the shopify stores with the multi-vendor marketplace. there will be a product management, order management and inventory management. so all the sellers of the marketplace who are having the shopify stores can easily connect the shopify stores and they can use the order management and product management and inventory management. so in order to do that, we'll be enabling the feature app, then we'll be config, doing the configuration of that feature app on the admin panel. then we will be going on a seller end and config configuring the app. then we'll be creating a custom app on the shopify store, that seller and we'll be just checking the status of the configuration and webhooks. so let's navigate from admin panel. click on feature app section. search for shopify seller. connect this one shop seller shopify store connector. enable this one. so we like to inform you that this app will cost you around 40 per month, apart from the multimeter app that you're using it. so, once enabled, click on configuration section so go and sell a supported app configuration. so here you can see the contribution related to the product and the order. so in the seller app configuration section you can enable or disable the syncing of orders and other features that are listed over here. so you can enable the order syncing. if you want to sync only the paid app orders, then you can click over here. then, if you want to send the customer details, if you want to sing that the order tag, like there's an order created on the multivendor app, if you want to give a tag, so whenever they will be order created from the multivendor app on the seller shopify store, so it will always contain a tag. so let me show you that as well. let's go in order section. you can see this folder was created by the multivendor app and this is attack. so seller can easily understand. thus this order has came from the multi-vendor marketplace of the admin. okay, then you have this section allowed to update marketplace shipping labels. then you can enable this. also, if you want to sync order f1 from select to administrator or order reference status from admin to celestory, then use this feature. let's go in the product configuration section. so if you want to sing the product name, profile, product tag, quantity, price, image, description, collection, meta fields, policy, update product sku and product image, all text, if you want to sync all these you can enable as per requirement. this product inventory policy update is for the feature where you can enable this option- continue selling out of stok. so if you want to use this feature, you can enable this as well. click on save. so let's get back to the seller panel now. so the configuration, or admin panel, is the end. so let's get back to the silicon. so this is a seller panel. we are using this seller and this is the seller shopper faster will be using this shopify store. so in order to configure on the seller end, just click on configuration. click on seller sync, app configuration. so here you can see the fields over here which will be required in order to connect the shop faster. so, and then you can see collection mapping and tag mapping. we will tok about this later on this video. so let's copy and paste the shopify show url is just over here. and next, api key security is an access token. let's go in the shop faster of the seller. click on app section. click on develop apps. create an app. let's name it the store connector app shopify. okay, let's create an app. click on configure admin scopes. so we need to give the access like assign for certain orders. so all these are mentioned in the guide. we'll just put it in the description as well so you can just see and provide the access accordingly, coming back to the shopper faster. so yeah, once done, click on save. now install this app. click on install- okay, so you will get all the details over here now. so here's the api key and api secret key. then this is abi access token. so this will be reveals one so carefully. you have to just copy it and paste it. so access token should be pasted over here. then api keys, then api secret key. so you can use this feature like auto sync new products. so it will be auto sync the with the. if this new newborn plated on the shopper store, it will be automatikally synced with the multivendor. then if you have multiple locations on the shopify, then you can use this option, since i have only one location. so if you want, if you have multiple locations, then you can use this option from which location you want to sync the products with multi-vendor. if you're using a third-party app like uber, low or any drop shipping app like sprocket, you can use this so it will automatikally sync the products through the multivendor whenever there is an uh update or from the drop shipping store for the products detail. you can use this for the label, okay. so, once done, just click on save. okay, so the app is properly installed. and the connection. to test this connections and the books: click on this. shopify webhooks- let's see. you can see all the registered webhooks. so looks are basically used for tracking the events. so you can and register or register. doesn't okay, so it's being unregistered. now you can register it also anytime. ask for a requirement. so, as you can see that the stators are registered, it means everything is working fine. so, coming back to the configuration once again. so the collection mapping and a tag mapping- so basically correction mapping- will help you while you're importing your products. so it will help you to import the product in a proper way. so if you have a collection on your shopify store and you want to sync that collection with the multivendor marketplace collection of the admin, then you can map it from here. similar goes with the tag. you can do the same thing with the tag as well. you can map the shopify store tabs with the multi-vendor tax provided by the admin, okay, so once done, let's click on import products so you can import the products. we have given three options. you can import on the basis of date range. you can import on the basis of product id. you can import on the product handle. so on the date range, you still will click. let's form. just click on. make it 19 january. let's click on first of april. click on four products. okay, so all the imported products will be under product listing section. okay, so once you imported the products, so you will find under here. so the approval is trending from the admin end so we'll see that as well. so all the imported products: you can see. this is admin panel. under product listing section. you can see over here all the probes are inputted so we can approve or disapprove depending upon the admin requirements. now, coming back to cellular panel, once again, click on. coming back to cell app configurations. so this is done. so let's check the second method, on the basis of product id. so, coming back to the shopify store, click on products so product id can be found over here. so this is a product id. you can copy it and paste it. so this, since we already have that product, so it won't be imported, but this can be used like that product handle. you can find it over here. like this is a product handle so you can copy it and paste it. so this, basically these two you can use on buying a business is awesome and it's changed my life and all of my clients lives, but there's risk involved- risks that you need to know about before you drop your savings on an online business. and whilst there are many places out there to buy great websites, there's also this ever popular place called shopify exchange, which is a place that people who own shopify websites can go away and list their own shopify websites for sale, and clearly there's some pros and cons to this. the pros are that anyone with a shopify store can list their business for sale, and the cons are that anyone with a shopify business or store can list their business of sale, meaning people can create a shopify store, make it look like they're making a lot of money but in fact, they're not, and because of this, many people have been taken advantage of. many people have been scammed, and you can see all the reviews and stuff like that all over the internet of people being scammed on marketplaces like this. so in this video, i'm going to show you how to find a decent business on shopify and not get scammed. i'm gonna share my screen with you and walk you through basically the whole way through: how to buy an online business from a shopify exchange and also, if you stay to the end, i've got a free gift for you, one that you can use to prevent yourself from getting scammed when you're buying a website business on a marketplace like this, and i actually think it's a vital resource that you are going to need when you buy any online business, whether it's through shopify exchange or any website broke or other marketplaces. so stay around to the end and i'll show you that. now let's go away and check out my screen. i'm going to show you what to look for and what to look out for. so here we are on shopify exchange and, as you can see, you can browse different businesses, different business types, okay- and different locations and all that sort of stuff. but what i've just done is i'm just in pretty broad and you can see here that you have private listings. a lot of these are private listings. okay, the reason people make these private listings is because they want to keep their url or their domain name private. reason being is because they don't want other people coming onto this website and seeing that they have a successful website and then go away and copy what they've done and become a competitor. so what's important for them is to make this a private listing and if you want to actually go away and get access to look at this business of sale, is you click on view listing, you can get in contact with the seller of this business sitting and you can sign what we call an nda, which is the non-disclosure agreement, which shows to the seller that you're not going to disclose any of the information that you use and you're not going to compete as well, if you sign an nca, which is a non-competitive game agreement, that you're not going to compete with this business. so it's really important for people to protect the business that they're selling in case they don't sell it, or to protect the person that does become the new owner of the business, so they don't have a bunch of copycats out there competing with the business they've just bought. so i think it's a very, very fair thing and normally the businesses that are private listings are going to be the more genuine businesses that are for sale. and i say normally, but and main reason is because people that are just trying to sell a business, that create too many barriers. if they're just selling some cheap, flabby business, that's not really getting any sales. so let's go through and we won't be able to use these listings because we won't be able to look at the url and much information. but let's look at two businesses. the first one i want to look at is cheaper loop, okay, so let's look at cheaplu and let me show you what i think about this business and we'll come to a sort of conclusion on why this business is either good or bad. so here we go. i look at the business price: okay, so they want fifteen thousand dollars for the business and it's making 53 000 in revenue per month. average sessions. okay, that's cool, but what i look at, this is the average revenue. and then i look at the average profit, and they make about an average net profit of fifteen thousand dollars, eight hundred per month. and my question, my alarm bell or red flag, is that if they make 15 000- 800 per month, why they selling it for less than a month's profit? it mustn't be a very valuable business if that's the case, and so sometimes you can have people here on shopify exchange having these numbers look really, really good and they're just trying to sell something that's not very valuable. so that's a that's a red flag for me, an alarm that i need to be looking into. so what you, i suggest you, do, is you go away and get access to viewers, access to the shopify account, to verify these figures. also, you want to be checking their ad account to verify how much they're spending on advertising, because the difference is- and this may be stok, but i dares- are they spending a lot of money on ad ads. so we scroll through and they say it's a drop shipping business and the reason for selling- they can just make that up. what's involved in run the business? this is a real business: hard work and discipline. i'm most important. okay, i don't know if it is a real business, you don't need to explain that. so that's another funny thing that i find. and then i read here: you have to create ads and manage them on facebook ads each and every day, find new marketing angles, create new creatives. you can create new content every day, and then you know, to refresh what potential customers see, you will have to fulfill the orders, and so these are from aliexpress. okay, aliexpress is a drop shipper from china and normally the products from aliexpress are not very good quality. so even if this business was legit, i'd be questioning it because i wouldn't want to buy a business that was selling, you know, non-quality products, and also aliexpress, takes a long time to ship from. you know, say, if you're selling in the us, which i dare say this business probably is- or even to australia or any other country, it can take a long time to ship from china to the your home country or where the purchases are, so that can create a lot of headaches with customer service. so, 35 profit margin on those they're making about you know, 1300 on sales. okay, so if they're making 1300 sales, what i'd like to do is like, if their revenue is 53 000- right, so i'm going to do this on my little calculator here- if i do, 53 611 divided by 1300, that means they're making about 41 dollars per sale. so let me go away and look at their, their actual business here. okay, so they got two, only two, products. they're selling this and- and it's gonna have to be in english- this is a french site, so i dare say it takes a long time to send these from china to france, and it's 30, i think it's 30- pounds. so that could end up being an average order of, say, 40. so that could make sense, i guess. but what i'd be doing really is i'd be really questioning why they're going to try and sell this business for you know, one month's net profit. then i like to scroll down and look at some more information. you can see that there was nothing. this business was nothing until it hit november, and then they just built it up over the over the december and january period, and you can see it's not really going very far. i'd be wanting to look at more up-to-date financials for this as well. and they're spending fifteen thousand dollars on facebook ads. so that's crazy, isn't it? they're spending fifteen thousand dollars on facebook ads. so the risk is, if you buy this business, you've got fifteen thousand two hundred and thirty, almost 240 dollars per month to spend just to be making the- uh, fifteen thousand dollars. no, so i'd be there, i'd be considering this, and what i suggest you do is go away and look at the health of the email list as well. okay, so they're going to tell you that it has the funny thing: wit.

them where they are, instead of requiring them to come to you and jump through a bunch of hoops. i mean, we've all been there, right? you see something online and think i need that. you head over to the website, find what you're looking for, only to realize that when you break out your credit card, you need to first create an account, check your email to confirm your account, then head back, log in, re-add to cart and by the time you get there, you're so turned off that the thing you so desperately needed just a few minutes ago isn't even a glimmer of desire now that right. there is the demonic friction at work and also just how fickle the purchasing decision can be for most of us real humans. thankfully, with shopify, trailblazing social shopping integrations, not only can we as sellers meet our buyers where they already spend their time on their favorite social networks, but now we reduce the friction so much that they don't even have to leave facebook to come to our website. now they can literally buy directly inside of facebook, end to end. but first dictionary time. if you are new to selling on facebook, random new words and phrases you'll hear can start to feel a touch overwhelming. what's more, there are some things you'll need to do inside of facebook and other things you'll need to do inside of your shopify admin, and at first glance this may feel daunting, but you'll see that it's really truly very easy. so let's spend the next minute. to see the big picture and understand the terms. i'll kick things off with the two most confusing sets of terms: facebook business manager versus facebook commerce manager, as well as facebook shops and facebook page shops. business manager is where you can control the top level settings of your business, including your business's facebook page, while commerce manager is where you manage all of the settings dealing specifically with selling your products, like your catalog of items. facebook page shops is the original iteration of e-commerce on facebook where, with shopify's integration, folks visiting your business's facebook page could see your catalog and buy things directly from there. facebook still use facebook page shops. it just means that you'll have to set up things like your instagram shop separately, and your country will likely receive full integration sometime very soon. once that happens, when facebook brings facebook shops to your country, they'll notify you through a notification and you will be able to migrate everything to the new system very easily. we'll link the supported markets page in the description below, but, given that this video you're watching is in english, all countries where english is the primary language already supports the new facebook shops. but let's take a bird's-eye view of what you need to do to get set up. first things first, you'll need both a business page on facebook as well as a shopify store. once you have both, it's time to sync them together so they can communicate with each other, and you'll need to perform a task in the facebook business manager and four tasks in your shopify admin. so make sure you are logged into both before starting. first, in your shopify admin will be enabling facebook as a sales channel, so find the words sales channel in the left hand navigation menu and click the little plus sign, which will bring up a list where you'll find and select the facebook option. click the update sales channel button on the following screen and shopify will bring up a list of tools you can use to start syncing the two together. click start setup under sell your products on facebook. this will bring up the setup facebook shop screen where you will select connect account to start the process of syncing your new facebook shop with your shopify store. and once your personal facebook account is connected, you will be able to choose the facebook page or pages you are an administrator for that you'd like to start syncing with. next up is the most psychologically scary part but is in actuality very easy, and that's verifying your domain. this is so important because it's the only way to protect you. you don't want other people to be able to hijack your domain, so verifying it during this syncing process is absolutely critikal. once you're logged into facebook, go to businessfacebookcom and that'll bring up your business manager home from there. click on the gear for settings on the bottom left, then more business settings, which will open a new tab in your browser. on the left hand menu of that new tab, find brand safety, expand it and click on domains. click the blue add button and you'll be asked to put in your shopify store's domain, and remember, don't add www or http, just the domain itself, like mystorecom. once you type in your domain and click add, you will be presented with a four-step process that, again, if you're not used to messing with website code, looks absolutely terrifying, but, thanks to shopify, is exceptionally easy. click on that bold string of code in step 1 to copy it. then head over to your shopify admin and now
