so what does this essentially mean for us? while profit margins start from 30 and can reach 70 percent or more, this means that we're able to make anywhere between 1 000 to 10 000 us dollars on average when drop shipping women's clothing. always remember that the amount of profit that you make is affected by various factors, and these factors include, the first factor being store size. so, how big is your store? have you just launched your store? are you in the process of growing your store halfway somewhere in the middle, or is your store evolved? do you have a huge customer base? the second factor being product research. have you done research on the fashion products that you'd like to stok? are they doing or selling? well, most importantly, have you read the product reviews? the third factor being marketing your store. the right marketing strategies can help you increase your sales and scale your business. have you tried effective marketing methods, such as facebook ads, influencer marketing, email marketing or even blogs? the fourth factor being: what is your customer base? do you have existing customers or do you still need to build up new customers? and the fifth factor being your customer service, of course. would your customers return again and purchase other products in your store? remember, when a customer is satisfied, or happy with the service that they've received, they are more likely to trust and be loyal to your business. okay, so, kicking things off, we have our first supplier, and that goes to aliexpress. so on the aliexpress platform, we'll definitely be able to find numerous women's clothing sellers, a wide range of products, competitive prices and worldwide shipping. okay, so here is a list of aliexpress's awesome women's clothing product range. their range consists of rompers and bodysuits, and some capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, muslim fashion bottoms, plus size clothing, hoodies, as well as suits and sets- a huge and great product range to choose from. am i right? ladies always look at the return and shipping policies when trying to find a suitable supplier. when it comes to aliexpress's shipping policies, their standard shipping takes between 15 to 45 days, and their premium shipping takes between seven to fifteen days. aliexpress also offers various shipping carriers and, as for their return policies, they offer free returns within 15 days. at number two, we have amazon, an online marketplace where you can find a massive collection of products dedicated to women's fashion. so let's take a look at amazon's awesome product catalog for women's clothing: tops, teas and blouses, body suits, pants, dresses, skirts, shorts, leggings, jeans, activewear, swimsuits and cover-ups, jumpsuits, rompers, sweaters, suits and blazers, jackets and coats, fashion hoodies, lingerie, sleepway and launch away. what an amazing variety of products to choose from. when it comes to amazon shipping policy, their standard shipping takes between two to five days. amazon also has same day delivery, which means that the product gets shipped out on the same day that you've placed the order. amazon is also inclusive of major shipping carriers, and when it comes to amazon's returns policy, most sellers on amazon have flexible policies. they accept returns and offer replacements within 30 days of customers receiving their products. third on our list is banggood. they provide high quality women's clothing products and is known as a dropshipping friendly supplier with warehouses located in china, us and europe. that means that we're not limited to selling only in one market, but we're able to expand our business to millions of customers worldwide. we have dresses, tops, bottoms, outerwear, two-piece sets, plus-sized clothing, sleepwear, swimwear, activewear and lingerie. banggood also offers speedy shipping times. delivery can take up to one to three days if the parcels are being dispatched from warehouses that are nearby. however, if parcels are arriving from the chinese warehouses, then delivery can take up to five to eight days. vanguard also offers significant shipping carriers and when it comes to their returns policies, banggood provides easy refunds and exchanges for up to seven days. our fourth supplier is cj drop shipping, another dropshipping friendly supplier that not only offers high quality products but also print on demand options. so let's have a look what they have stoked in their product catalog: bumpers, bodysuits, pants, capris, dresses, skirts, jeans, bottoms, tops and tees, plus size clothing, swimwear, jumpsuits, sweaters, suits and sets, and jackets and coats. so, just like banggood's shipping policies, cj dropshipping's shipping policies is very similar: products in nearby warehouses take between one to five days, whereas products from china take between four to eight days. cj drop shipping also makes use of major shipping carriers, and, when it comes to customers wanting to return their purchases, cj dropshipping offers free returns within 15 days. our next supplier is walmart's. aside from providing a massive selection of women's clothing items, they also offer many deals and discounts. so let's have a look at their why? product range for women's fashion: tops and tees, lingerie dresses, jumpsuits, activewear, plus size clothing, pants and leggings, pajamas and loungewear, graphic tees, socks, shorts, coats and jackets, sweatshirts and hoodies, skirts, workwear and thermal underwear. when it comes to walmart shipping policy, they actually offer free shipping that takes anywhere between two to three working days. walmart mainly uses usps and fedex as a shipping carriers. when it comes to walmart's return policy, walmart only accepts clothing items from purchases within the last 90 days. so our sixth supplier is etsy. etsy facilitates the sale of innovative products through its websites, and women's clothing is currently one of the categories that it focuses on. let's have a look at the type of women's clothing that we're able to find on etsy: dresses, tops and tees, skirts, sweatpants and sweatshirts, pants and capris, swimwear, pajamas and robes, loungewear, as well as hoodies and sweatshirts. so etsy's product range is very similar to other suppliers. however, keep in mind that it's these products are custom made and one of a kind. when it comes to itsy's shipping policies, it usually takes between three to seven days for domestik shipping orders, and it usually takes between 10 to 14 days for international shipping orders. its c makes use of usbs, fedex and canada posts as their shipping carriers. when it comes to the returns, exchanges or refunds for the women's clothing, it all goes through the individual seller in which you bought it from, rather than itsy as the platform itself. our next supplier is ebay, and let's have a look at the massive selection of women's clothing to dropship: activewear, coats, jackets, socks, jeans, pajamas, loungewear, jumpsuits and rompers, leggings, outfits and sets, bottoms, suits and swimway. since ebay is a marketplace, the shipping and return policies are saved by the individual sellers on the platform. shipping times are estimated to range between 1 to 30 days. it all depends on the seller and their choice of shipping carriers. w.
👀 What You NEED To Know Before Dropshipping
you know what, despite the several successful dropshipping case studies on this channel, i still occasionally get people leaving comments like drop shipping is dead, if it was ever properly alive to begin with. increasing e packet rate- it literally kills drop shipping. it's too late for this business. most businesses fail. i will never waste my time and money trying to start a business ever again, and if you're smart, you'll do the same thing. hmm, yeah, well, okay, obviously, i strongly disagree with those comments, because here's the thing: a lot of people will say things like drop shipping is dead or it's too late, or businesses don't work, and the reason why they're saying these things is because they are making several assumptions that are all wrong, and so, if you are looking to start a store, it's crucial, then, that you understand what these assumptions are before you start drop shipping so that, unlike these people, your store can be successful, because, no, it is not too late. one people won't buy from you. they'll just buy from amazon instead. but wait, sarah, you ask: why would anyone buy products from me if they can buy products directly from amazon themselves? now, it is absolutely true that if you head on over to amazon, that you will find lots of products that can be purchased directly from aliexpress, sitting on amazon's digital shelf as well. and, of course, if customers were to purchase your products on amazon, they would then get to take advantage of their prime two-day shipping. so how on earth could drop shippers successfully dropship these guitar coffee spoons with two to three week shipping via china's cheapest, fastest shipping option- a packet, when a customer could come and buy them on amazon with two-day shipping? i mean, come on, sarah, just think about it. amazon is only growing. in q3 2019, their product sales were up over 17 from the same time in 2018.. won't amazon steal away all of our sales? no, no, they will not. you see, here's the thing. there is some truth to these comments. amazon is arguably the better deal for usa citizens. it is better for the consumer to purchase the products on amazon. so if they figure out that the product that you are selling them is indeed on amazon for purchase, you can bet that amazon will take that sale away from you. but you know what? we literally don't care. and you know what? drop shippers never have the sorts of people who see a product and decide that they're going to research the absolute best deal, for it were never our customers in the first place. nope, it's the 44 of people that impulsively purchase products online that we are targeting and, of course, as shown by how millennials are even more prone to impulsive purchases, with 80 of them impulsively buying products, the overall percentage of impulse e-commerce purchases for us to target as drop shippers is only growing and growing. you see, successful drop shipping stores are built around that target customer, the type of customer that enjoys impulsively purchasing products. it also means that the successful drop shipping stores are usually built around selling products that spike an emotion in a customer that makes them think: i need to buy this right now. it's why this aliexpress dog caller has made hundreds of thousands of dollars. the advertising dropshippers used spike fear and dog owners pointing out how many dogs dying in car accidents each year from not being seen. that is why, when recently, i saw this comment from this viewer asking why their online store wasn't successful, i pretty much instantly knew that the store would be selling extremely boring products. and lo and behold, i was right. now, of course, this is actually a print on demand store, not a drop shipping store, but the exact same principle applies. why would somebody want to buy this hoodie when they can go to amazon and find cheaper hoodies and shirts with inspirational messages on there, because here is the reality. typing vision in a plain white circle is not exciting. so let's compare this hoodie to this hoodie. what is the difference between the two? well, the difference is that one hoodie is very boring and the other is extremely interesting, unique and unlike anything people are likely to have seen before, which is why this hoodie's facebook advertising campaign made so much money for the successful aliexpress dropshipping store. freaky pet. and, of course, if you're ever wondering, this exact same answer applies to the people that ask the question: why would customers not go directly to aliexpress themselves? well, again, it's because good aliexpress drop shippers sell products that trigger emotions on people and get them to impulsively buy their products, so that they never even think to go check if a product is on aliexpress, because they see and go. that's so amazing. i must buy one now. and, by the way, if you've learned something from this video and you would like to learn even more about starting a successful drop shipping store, then be sure to subscribe and click that little notification bell next to it so that you don't miss out on any of our videos. two, dropshipping is a scam. i just want to quickly address this because these comments are really dumb. you know, you might have notiked that earlier in this video i freely admitted that it would be a fast, superior financial choice for a customer to buy this hoodie on amazon with two day shipping for a fraction of the price compared to what they would pay for it on freaky pet. and so what do people say to that? oh, the customer can get it cheaper, elsewhere, quicker. that makes your store a scam. nope, it does not. number one: if it weren't for your facebook ad, the customer would never have known about that product that they really enjoyed getting in the first place. people really love this hoodie and we're really grateful that it was advertised to them and they bought it. you had to pay for that advertising to do that, which you pass on to the customer. amazon doesn't advertise products. customers have to find them themselves. and number two, as an entrepreneur, you are in no way obligated to offer your product for the lowest price. here are two coffee shops around the corner from my apartment. they are across the road from each other. i walked into coffee shop a and bought my favorite coffee, a long black, for three dollars- and yes, i know that overseas the phrase long black might conjure up some different thoughts, but here in new zealand, and over in australia too, a long black simply refers to pouring an espresso shot over 100 to 120 mls of boiling water to create a stronger version of an americano with creamer. next i went into coffee shop b and again order long black, but this time it cost four dollars- completely different prices for an extremely similar product. and you know what? coffee shop a's three dollar coffee was the best. would you say that coffee shop b is a scam for charging a higher price for a worse version of this coffee? no, you would not. pricing is entirely subjective and is actually determined by the customer, not you. you present the customer with the price and it is up to them to decide if that price is worth it or not. and at the end of the day, if freaky pet are able to create a marketing campaign that gets people to purchase their hoodie for a higher price while being entirely upfront about the shipping times, then they 100 deserve that sale. 3. drop shipping is saturated. perhaps the most bizarre of all the claims is that drop shipping is dead and it's over since. well, it's saturated. and the truth is when i see comments like this, it blows my mind, because this comment literally makes no sense. here is what market saturation literally is. it's when a product has been maximized in a market, in other words, when all of the people who would want that product have bought it already. and here is what drop shipping is. drop shipping is when a customer buys a product that you've listed in your store for a markup price. when they do, you go to the manufacturer and you purchase that one product for the wholesale price and then have the

How To Start Dropshipping With $0 | STEP BY STEP | NO SHOPIFY & NO ADS! (FREE COURSE)
my name is isabella. i am the owner of two six figure earning online businesses, and today i'm gonna be showing you how to build a successful drop shipping store with zero dollars, without shopify and with zero ads. so that means zero dollars that you guys can start this store with, and you will not have to worry about dumping any money to start this project. i actually care about your pockets. a lot of gurus on youtube recommend using shopify, which i do not recommend, since they do have monthly fees. i don't recommend getting shopify or using shopify unless your business is already a six figure earning business. there are so many free website hosts out there that you guys can use for free, which i'm gonna be showing you guys how to utilize one of those today. so people do charge over thousands of dollars for courses, just like this one. so in exchange for this information today, i just ask that you hit that like button and subscribe to my channel so i can continue to make videos like this for you guys. so why should you start a drop shipping store? is this the right business model for you? i recommend drop shipping for those that are just starting out selling online, that don't want to invest any money up front that you want to start a side hustle. and the great thing about drop shipping is that you can do it from anywhere in the world. you can target the united states and be in a completely different country, and then you don't have to worry about inventory or shipping products yourself. in this video, you will learn how to find winning products to sell, to find your niche. you're going to learn how to create a free logo and name. i'm also going to show you guys how to set up a free online store- zero dollars monthly- that you guys can use. i'm also going to show you guys how to add the products to your online store, how to fulfill your drop shipping orders once an order is placed, how to market your online store for free- never buy ads, guys- and i'm also going to go over this one thing that a lot of people don't go over, which is kind of just the legal side of drop shipping and the tax basics of drop shipping, which it's not going to be advice. with that point, i'm just going to tell you guys what i personally did. nothing in this video is actual legal advice. this is just what i personally did. so let's find a product to sell and let's figure out what your niche is going to be. so i utilize a couple different ways and you guys can do this either on your cell phone, on your smartphone, or you guys can do this on your computer- it doesn't really matter- and when i'm researching products to sell, i use tik tok, i use aliexpress and alibaba to research, i use amazon just to see trending products and then i also use google. so you're gonna be using these four things today that you guys can all do from your laptop or phone. so what is drop shipping? i'm gonna tok about this quickly, just for beginners that are unsure about the drop shipping model. so a customer will place an order on your website, on your online store, in order for 200. obviously we don't work with these big numbers. typically they're smaller products, but this is just an example. so the customer places an order on your store for 200 and then you're going to go to your supplier. you're going to find this product online for cheaper, so you're going to charge 200 in your store for this product, but you found a supplier that has it for 150.. so you're going to place the order for your customer for 150. you're going to take their 200.. instead of you shipping the product, the supplier is going to ship the product and then the supplier ships the product directly to your customer. so your store is just the middle man between the customer and the supplier and for doing this, you get to keep 50 profit of this sale. so if you guys are familiar with my channel, i always say it's 25 the product and 75 how you market it. so the questions to ask yourself is: how entertaining is this product? can you relate this product to your own life? what content can you actually create with this product and how much content can you create with this product? because the marketing side of it is more important than the product itself. so the top niche categories for 2022 and probably beyond 2022 is beauty, pets, tiknology, kids, gifts, photography and fitness. i'm going to show you guys a couple of examples and let's dive right into this tutorial and i'm going to show you guys how you guys can find products to sell in 2022. so i want you guys to go on to google and type in tiktok- trend discovery. we're going to search for that right now. so it's this one right here: trend discovery, hot content on tiktok. click on this. tiktok is definitely the most popular social media right now, meaning that there are people that are running ads on it. although we are not going to run ads on it because we don't have to, tiktok shows your videos without you having to pay for ads. that's the beauty of tiktok. so, but we're still going to use what people are running ads as, just as a reference to see. so i'm just going to click select, all here. i'm gonna select united states, because i personally target the united states when i was drop shipping, and then go ahead and just scroll down and we're gonna try to see and look for products and you guys can see a lot of these um, people, i think they're selling mostly digital products or apps. so you guys can get a lot of different ideas of things that people are selling on tik tok and what people are actually buying ads for, even though you're not going to buy ads. what's crazy is that all of these things- the people that they bought these ads- they didn't have to do this, because tiktok pushes out your content. if you have good content, it'll push it out. this is actually the type of product i recommended in one of my previous videos on my youtube channel. people really love anything that you can create content-wise, that's something satisfying and that also adds value, which is why i love this person's content, how they're promoting this product again. they could have did this without buying ads and could have made their business viral without buying ads, which is how i grew my business on tik tok. but you guys know that if you've watched my other videos, i don't recommend buying ads because it does harm your profit margin, and i tok about this more on my youtube channel if you guys want to get a reasoning of why i don't agree with buying ads. so i found this smart hula hoop on tiktok. it was a trending item, so i decided to look into this product and because this stuck out to me as a drop shipping product, i decided to base this video on this product today, just as an example to show you guys. now, obviously, with this kind of product, you do have to show your face because you're showing off a fitness type product. as you guys can see, there's so many products across tiktok that you guys can still sell without showing your face. if you guys are unfamiliar with my business, this is my e-commerce story body fold that i grew just from tiktok without paying for any ads, as you guys can see- the link is in my bio right here and you guys can see how i did my bio and everything. but you guys can see that i sell and i make sales. this one got one million views and i don't even show my face. now i do sell products that i ship myself, which i explain why i do that on my youtube channel. but i just want to show you guys an example that you guys can sell products online without showing your face. i hardly ever show mine- very rarely do i show mine like right here, but that's a very rare occurrence and my most viral videos don't include my face, and one niche that might work good for one person might be different for another. so the first thing that i do when i find a product that might be a potential product to sell is i google it. so i typed in hula hoop exercise to see what would come up, so you guys can see right away. this dh gate listing came up and if you guys are unfamiliar with dhgate, dhgate is very similar to aliexpress, so obviously

Are You Overlooking this Website in your Dropshipping Business? I Was.
when you're running an ecommerce business of any kind, especially drop shipping, diversifying the platforms that you sell on is a no-brainer. yes, you should focus the majority of your attention on the platforms that are yielding you the most sales and the best results, but you should also be investing time and attention into other ones as well. that way, if you run into any issues on any specific platform, your sales and your income don't come to an immediate hall. so, with that said, today we're going to cover how to drop ship on grail. grilled is a site where you can sell men's clothing. in a recent video not too long ago, we covered how to drop ship on tradesy, which is a clothing platform where you can do the same thing with specifically women's clothing, but grilled has been a solid platform that's been working well for me recently as well. the only difference is, again, it's men's clothing. now, drop shipping on here again will not make you a millionaire, much like tradesy, but you can certainly make a few hundred extra dollars in profit on this site. it's a growing platform, another place that you can diversify your income streams, and it's relatively untapped as far as drop shippers go, so there's a great opportunity to make more sales with little to no competition. so drop shipping on grilled is very, very similar, using z drop, to pretty much any of the other platforms. as always, you see the copy, the trades, you see copy to grilled, copy to poshmark, facebook shop, facebook marketplace, and so the same thing goes here. when you're using z drop, the first way to drop ship on grilled, obviously, if you're, you're using software like this that's going to copy the pictures, the title, the description and also mark it up to whatever you set it, as i have a z drop set up to mark it up 40, as always up here in the corner, and, as always, z drop this link down in the description if you want to go ahead and grab it. so first thing we're going to do is, on this listing, because it's men's clothing, we're just going to give you two specific examples of men's wallets here and we're gonna click copy to z drop and then paste by z drop. it's gonna take the, the description, the title, the pictures and also mark it up 40, which is what i've set it to, and then transfer it over to grail so you can see right here it's grabbed the description. it's gonna grab all that information. now, one of the things on on grill that you have to do originally is categorized, right. so we want to find the category. well, what is it? it's an accessory and it is. uh, where is it here? wallets, right now. the item name here usually pastes in, but for whatever reason it did not do that right now. so we're just going to come back and we're going to copy the item title right here, and it has to be 60 characters or less. so we're just going to shorten this and say wallets. now the designer: right here i always go unbranded, unless there's a specific designer that you can find. i always just type in unbranded here and i tell my vas to do the same thing, just because it streamlines the process. i don't really think brands, in my experience, have too much impact on your sales on grilled- at least in my experience. you can play around with it and the size here is obviously one size. but if you're doing like a shirt or pants, then obviously you'd pick the size or you'd pick the specific size that is sold most frequently and has the highest demand. you can just google that. if it's, for example, a t-shirt, well, you google. what's the most common men's t-shirt brand? the color- here again, you're gonna find the color. it doesn't really matter. i think the color here will say black, so black. the condition is new. you have the description in there, just like always. you want to pull the description down and make sure that there's nothing in here about a warranty or amazon, since in this case, or pulling it from amazon, you don't have to drop you from amazon. z drop integrates with you know dozens, if not over a hundred. i honestly don't even know what how many it is because i don't use them all, but it could be up to 100, if not more, sites now so you can drop from home depot, walmart, ebay, the list goes on and on. but again you just want to copy the description and then obviously make sure that, because you're copying the description with the software, that there's nothing in there that's going to give away that it's sold on a different platform and you're drop shipping it. the tags here you have up to 10 tags, so you just want to come up with again always like good- tags here that are going to help you find visibility on the platform and get more sales. i'm not going to put all the tags in, but obviously you want to go ahead and do that, or you'd tell your va's to do that. the price: you can see it marked it up 40 to 22.. uh, because this is lower priced right here, i'm going to mark it up a little bit more manually, so it's already 16 marked into 40 percent, uh, and it's already marked pretty low, so you can easily sell this for 35 bucks. i know because i have sold wallets like this in the past as well. so, 35 bucks, i'm not going to accept offers, i'm going to turn smart pricing off down here. you don't want the grailed label, you want to go your own label. you can charge your shipping or you can also use free shipping. i always charge five bucks for shipping across the board on the majority of my marketplace listings and the majority of my shop listings, uh, as well as my grilled listings, my tradesy list things, etc. uh, and then you can also offer international shipping if you want to go that route. i haven't kind of delved into that yet. i plan on testing it in the future, i just haven't had a chance to yet. and then you hit publish and it's really that easy to drop ship on grilled using z drop pulling mark for listings from all sorts of online websites, like amazon in this case, but again, there's a number of them. just go to z drop. you can see all the sites that it integrates with, and if you want to get a deal on z drop, it's always linked down in the description below. i believe it's twelve dollars a month, um, and i also covered why i think z drops the best uh software for facebook marketplace, facebook shops and a number of other places out there in another video. just find it on the channel. i did it recently, i think, like three videos ago. so now that you get the example, i'm not going to dumb it down for you. it's pretty self-explanatory. regardless of the problem, the of the product, all you have to do here is click, copy to grail and then realistikally just make sure that everything's fine and categorize it right now. that's the first way to drop ship on grail. the second is, if you already have listings up, for example, on poshmark or on mercari or on facebook or on facebook shops or anything like that, or on ebay, then you can use the second software that i always recommend as well, and that is list perfectly. so list perfectly is this software that will pull listings from site to site. for example, z drop, pulled listings from you know websites like amazon and retailers like walmart, for example, and copies those products and then brings them over. but if you already have your own products up, list perfectly will post from ebay to you know, grailed or grilled to ebay or facebook marketplace to ebay or facebook marketplace to ebay, grail exci, like. i've covered so many video tutorials on this perfectly. if you want to check one out, i'll try to find one. i'll drop it down in the description below. it's a game changer for software but for example, like if we wanted to drop ship these shoes on grailed, we could click the list perfectly button, click grailed and then have it copy it over to grill. if we wanted to drop ship these shoes or list these shoes on a number of platforms, not just grilled, well then we'd have grilled selected. maybe we want to drop shipping morkari poshmark, etsy- we wouldn't drop these on etsy. drop ship these on etsy, tradesy. you wouldn't drop ship these on tradesy, obviously, because they are men's and trades these primarily women's d-pop kitti.
Dropshipping 2021: How My Dropshipping Clothing Brand Works (Through Shopify!)
what's up, but it's rob. this is apparel success, and in this video here, i want to share with you how my drop shipping clothing brand works, all of the little details around, the whole process of how everything is managed through me, and i think this video is really going to show you a lot in case you ever want to run your clothing brand the same way that i am here. it is [Music]. apparel success is sponsored by my buds over at design crowd. if designs are something that you suck at, then i recommend that you give them a shot. these are some of the best selling designs on my website and i got them all made through design crowd. if you're interested, head over to designcrowdcom to learn about the special offer that i have for you, or just use the discount code apparel when you post a project on design crowd. all right, so the way that my clothing brand used to work is: i used to order all of the blank clothing for my clothing brand through suppliers like t-shirtca- which is a great resource, by the way- and hs apparel used to supply me with my hoodies- just different places that i'd ordered the blank clothing from for my clothing brand and then i'd order that clothing to a screen printing facility who would print all of my clothing, and then i'd have that company- the screen printing facility- ship it all to my place where i'd go and pick it up, okay, and then from there i would organize all the inventory that i received. i'd shelve it all, i'd count it all and then, whenever orders would come in, i'd fulfill all the orders and have people come over and help me fulfill all the orders and things like that. completely different nowadays, and i want to walk you through what it looks like nowadays. the way that it works now is i get all of my clothing made through the same place and i get it made through a company in toronto called avid apparel. they're not paying me to promote them, but i'm going to anyways because i think they're an awesome company and basically this company supplies me with all the blank clothing. they print it all, they bag it all, they barcode it all. they basically do everything from start to finish in the whole creation process of each of my products. so this really saves me a lot in shipping costs in time, because i'm not having to order the blanks and get them made from another place. i'm getting it all done through the same place. okay, so this company handles all their production for my clothing brand right now, other than a few hats and a few little promotional items and accessories and things like that that they just don't do, and basically i get them to ship all of the inventory that i have made basically next door to my fulfillment center that i work with that is in toronto, ontario as well. so you know the shipping costs from avid apparel to my fulfillment center, which is called lickety-split- another free promo there for you- um, is really cheap because they they're so close together. so get everything made at avid apparel, get it all shipped to lickety-split and lickety-split, the fulfillment company that i'm using, basically receives it all, organizes it all, shelves it all, and they get it all ready to start fulfilling orders, where they also fulfill all the orders for my clothing brand that i make through my website and all of the inventory is directly recorded through the shopify website and all of the returns, all the exchanges, all of the communication that needs to be done with me in the fulfillment center happens directly on shopify underneath each of the orders that are being made. so, say, if a customer places an order and they put in the wrong address or something like that, and they email me. then i can basically just tag my fulfillment center underneath the order, say: hey, this, this customer just wanted to change their address. boom, i just changed it and we all communicate through this shopify order section- i guess you'd call it that- and this has worked really, really well so far. okay, like unbelievably streamlined. now they charge me right around three dollars to pack every order and to ship every order out, and you might be thinking that that sounds like a lot. but here's how this extra fee that my fulfillment center charges me doesn't really add to any losses at all for my clothing brand. i've basically tied in to all the shipping costs for my clothing brand. so anytime somebody places an order through my website it automatikally goes through the carrier, canada post, to get the price of how much that would cost and then i just add on a handling fee that is tied into the shipping costs to cover all the fulfillment costs. so basically the customer's paying for all the shipping because tiknically, them fulfilling the order and sending it out is also a part of the shipping and there's no loss at the end of the day to be working with a fulfillment center like this. and you know, i wish i could share more with you here in terms of the little details and things that are really specific and complicated, but it's honestly just that simple and it doesn't need to be any more complicated than that. the human mind really tends to want to complicate things more than it needs to be, and it's really been a smooth process for me setting it up this way. so what it used to look like was me handling all the inventory, handling all the orders, having to deal with shipments from one supplier to my, to my screen printer, then going and picking it up or managing when i'm gonna receive it when they ship it to me. dozens of giant boxes of clothing that i had to unpack and sort through all all by myself and have people over, and now all of that is gone. i don't have to do any of that anymore, and what i'm doing is tiknically considered drop shipping for my clothing brand, working through a fulfillment center like the one that i am now. the beauty part here is that i'm really close with the owner of the fulfillment center, and so we have a good relationship and we're really close text call all the time, basically working together like a team, which i'm sure, not a lot of clothing brands who are doing drop shipping have, but you can develop that fairly easily if you really want to and you really want to put in the effort to get your clothing brand to work this way. so i thought i figured i'd share that with you, in case some of you are interested in exactly how it all works in my own clothing brand. i hope that gives you some sort of ideas in terms of how you can run the structure of your own clothing brand moving forward. i didn't want to hire people and have people come over all the time and have to handle the inventory anymore and send out all the orders- thousands of orders i fulfilled with my own hands, you know- and it just gets annoying. i just didn't want to do it anymore and it was also just taking away so much of my time to focus on my brand and do the things that i'm good at. so i'm super happy with that change and i really hope this video was insightful. hey, what's up everybody? my name is ac, i'm the owner of an underwear company called draws branco and you know i just want to send this quick shout out video to rob parsons apparel success. i mean, i started this company back in like 2017, 2016, and when i started building, i came across your videos, man, and came across your course also and, uh, you drop gems every week that you know really doesn't compare to anybody else because you give the real. you know, you really tok about what we're all really going through. it's just been great, man. watching your videos got me through a lot. taking your courses have got me through even more, and i'm proud to say, because of you and- and give me a little pat on the back- my consistency and and really trying to apply some of the things that you teach, i quit my job back in march 2021 and i'm doing this full time man. thank you, rob again. thank you, apparently success, man. without you, this has been a lot harder. thanks.
How to Dropship T-Shirts on Etsy | Complete Beginner Tutorial | Software Included
all right. so i've gotten a lot of requests for more etsy drop shipping videos. so in today's video we're going to cover how to drop ship print on demand t-shirts on etsy. now the reason i love etsy drop shipping so much and i'm so bullish on it is because it's pretty much automated once you set up the design. so don't get me wrong. like you need to actually find quality designs that, just like on any other platform, are in demand but, relative to competition, have a big opportunity on them. i've covered in the past tutorials like certain ways on how you can go about finding products like that and designs like that so you can use etsy on an incognito browser. there's actually software out there that will, will you know, weigh the different marketplaces and weigh the demand on marketplaces for certain designs, then obviously bring them over to etsy. there's a number of ways to approach it, but in today's video we're just going to take two simple designs from amazon to keep it short. okay, i'll also link the other ones down at the bottom of the description if you want to check them out after this. but in today's video we're going to cover how to drop ship print on demand t-shirts. now the reason i love etsy, like i said, is because you need to spend the upfront time, unless, obviously, like you're a creative person that wants to create your own designs, then in that case you can just go ahead and start creating designs and then slap them up on etsy and if they're successful, then you know everything's pretty much automated after that. right, because we're gonna use the software. in today's case it's printful, okay, so printfulcom, where they're gonna handle everything for you, right? you upload your design once you're done creating it- i'm gonna show you all this in this tutorial- to printful, who then obviously stores your design. it integrates in the back end of etsy for you. so as soon as you get an order for that design and that product on etsy, printful will then grab that person's order, right for that product, grab their address and then create the print on demand design and ship it out to that person and also input the tracking number on etsy for you. so you don't have to do anything and that's why i say it's 100 automated, okay. that's why i love this. it's a lot like amazon, where you spend a lot of upfront time finding quality products and listing them, obviously, but then once you list them, like, their software handles everything and you don't need to do anything. okay, the only thing that you need to do after the fact is maybe answer a few messages and questions on etsy if you get them, but they don't come as frequently as other sites like facebook marketplace or even ebay or anything like that. all right, we're gonna replicate this design right here, so, don't worry, i've had both my shots and my booster, and then this one right here, which is just i'm thinking. now these both popped up relatively high on amazon search results under funny shirt. uh, again, i'm not doing any special product research here. this is just an example of how you can find designs that are hot selling, right, and then once you find those hot selling designs that obviously have demand on on etsy but don't necessarily have the competition there, then you can go ahead and create a similar design. you don't want to copy it, you know exactly. okay, you don't want to copy it exactly, but once you create a similar design, put your own spin on it. then you put it up on etsy with improved seo and an improved listing and then it just sits there and potentially earns sales for you and it doesn't cost you any money, minus the 20 cents to create the listing. typically, when you find a design that looks promising, what you want to do is: you want to take it to an incognito browser on etsy, so we're just going to pull up a different browser, we're going to etsycom, or you can just go incognito in your normal browser and you want to go like i'm thinking so this is clearly going to be because that's what the the design was right. like i'm thinking so you want to go as broad as possible and see what other designs are up there. see if it's a a flooded marketplace for that type of design. see if there's a lot of over saturation on that design already, and if that is the case, then you don't want to create that sign. ideally, you're looking for something that's selling well already on etsy or selling well on another platform where there's not a lot of competition on etsy, and that's where you want to get in again. don't copy, because that's where you're going to run into like ip complaints, especially don't copy like any brands as well. like even if you see a good design, like common sense should tell you, stay away from. like top brands right. like you're not trying to replicate. like the adidas logo. you're not trying to replicate the disney or the star wars logo? right, you're not trying to. i actually got a copyright strike one time, um, or it was like an intellectual property strike one time on etsy for creating like half of the target logo. don't do that, okay. as long as you're not doing that, as long as you're not copying someone's design exactly and you're putting your own spin on designs, you should be fine. this isn't like an- uh, an in-demand product with a lot less competition, where it's something that you want to go after. as you can see here, there's clearly a lot of people already selling design just like this. so this is an example of a product that you wouldn't want to go after. but let's, in this specific case, let's just assume that this isn't a product like this, just for the sake of showing you an example of how to actually go ahead and create the listing- right? so we want to go ahead and replicate a listing like that and then put our own spin on it. you can use, like i said, canva, which is a a free website that anybody can use, or you can go ahead and use adobe photoshop- all right, so we're going to create an adobe photoshop uh design, right here. you want custom dimensions of 4500 by 5400 for a t-shirt, those are the best uh dimensions for a specific t-shirt. so i would just go to google and type in, like i'm thinking, and find like a logo like that, or maybe like a loading logo, like waiting to load, or something like that. or you can even go to other websites like pixels or pixabay or any other website that offers royalty-free pictures. so i already actually have a slight logo here. and for this example right here, in this first one, we're just going to create a white t-shirt, because everybody else has a black t-shirt, as you can see, with the i'm thinking. so instead i'm just going to create a white t-shirt. and in the next example, we're going to create a multi-colored t-shirt. so i'm going to show you how to actually create a png design that you can put on top of any color. but for this example, the first one, we're just going to go white. so we're going to file open, because i already grabbed a loading logo logo right here, as you can see. so there we have the loading logo. i dragged it out a little bit. now we need to put something else below and there you go. so now we're done, the design. i literally just put my own spin on it. granted, this is not my best design at all, but i'm just, you know, trying to show you and give you ideas to get you thinking of how you can create your own designs as well. and you'd be surprised, like sometimes, like when i first started this and i was creating a bunch of designs, like super quickly, some of the designs, like, i would put like literally like 30 minutes to 45 minutes in creating this really in-depth, cool looking design and spend a lot of time on it, tweaking everything, finding good pictures, cropping them out like doing everything, and it would never sell. and some designs literally were just words on an actual sheet and i uploaded them to a t-shirt and those would get traction. so just keep that in mind: sometimes even stupid designs might sell. now that we have this, this design, and keep in mind, this is just a white t-shirt. what we're going to do is we're going to save it always sa.
