Facebook Advertising For Small Business (2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE)

your Facebook advertising strategy isn't working as well as you want right now, because things have changed and what used to work even a few months ago is dramatikally different than the strategies and tactiks that we're seeing succeed on the platform right now. for example, the problem child, better known as Facebook lead ads, was once a terrible choice for businesses that only ever seemed capable of delivering low quality leads, all wrapped up in a clunky and awkward dashboard. but now, thanks to a few recent changes and some secrets that I'll be sharing with you later in the video, Facebook lead ads are amazing, and they're quickly becoming one of my top picks for generating leads and making sales for pretty much any kind of business out there. so I'll break down how to set them up right and what a profitable ad campaign looks like in just a minute, and I'll share with you a little secret that I use to take campaigns from a three percent response rate to over a 68 response rate. next, another thing that's changed is campaign structures and many of the default settings inside your Facebook ads manager account. most people don't know about these changes, so they're just leaving things on the default settings, but this- this is a mistake. in fact, some of these settings are so bad that you'd be better off just tearing your money apart and lighting it on fire and then flushing it down the toilet. extreme, maybe, overly dramatik, possibly, but accurate, sadly, yes, my friend. so I'll show you how to set your campaigns up for Success, making sure that you get the absolute most Bang from your advertising buck and that you're not losing or wasting money on ineffective or useless settings. and then, lastly, I'm going to give you an Insider look into how I set up and structure and launch a brand new campaign, complete with what I'm looking at when I'm testing new objectives and the metrics that I assigned to each to make sure that it's going to end up profitable. so let me start by first making one of the most controversial statements I've ever made before, which is that generating leads, at least how most people are doing it, is one of the least effective marketing strategies available today. yeah, I know, but let me explain. generating leads in the way that it's traditionally done, is one of the most overhyped marketing promises of all time, sitting right there beside the objective of trying to get more likes and more comments and more shares on your stuff. and if you've ever run a marketing or advertising campaign or hired someone to run one for you, and they've come back with a bucket full of likes but no actual sales. then you know what this feels like and it doesn't feel good. this is because doing things like generating likes and comments and shares doesn't usually lead to business growth and sales and revenue. I'd like to say it never leads to sales, but I kind of hedged there a little bit. well, the same concept applies to just going out there and generating leads. this is because anyone can get leads- thousands of them, millions even. all you really gotta do is make some kind of crazy, irresistible offer like give away a free iPad or a free car, but the problem with these leads is that they're unlikely to ever convert into an actual customer in the future, that is, unless your business model is entirely based around giving away free iPads or free cars, in which case you and I need to have a little heart-to-heart chat about the future of your business, because I'm worried for you. the secret, then, to generating the kind of leads that you actually want, the kind that are going to turn into customers and eventually buy something, really comes down to two things. first, you need to focus on acquiring quality leads, which is a combination of how relevant they are to your business, how motivated they are to solve the problem or take action, and how capable they are of actually buying or paying for it. and next you need a conversion mechanism, or in other words, a marketing funnel or a sales funnel, and a way to essentially turn those leads into customers. now, after over 10 years of owning multiple different marketing agencies and having spent over 70 million dollars on Advertising through the agencies, while the number one software that I use for this is called high level- so I'll make sure to link up where you can get an extended free trial in the descriptions below this video. and if you're already using high level, well, good for you. you can still use the link in the descriptions below to get a few hundred bucks off and upgrade coupon. just click on the Blue Link instead of the yellow button. now, this video is not sponsored, but that's not going to stop me from professing my love for the software as, aside from having all of the usual features you would expect, like a CRM, an email and SMS and a calendar and scheduling, and all kinds of different customization stations and funnel options, the real power and the secret feature that I use and how I'm able to take response rates from three percent over 68 comes down to the use of automations, and what I like to do here is to immediately follow up with a new lead, ideally using SMS and using one of the following two types of questions. the first type of question is something specific and relevant and directly related to the lead into the offer that they just signed up for. and this next part is important: making sure that I'm asking something other than a simple yes or no question. in other words, if I was generating health or Fitness leads, I would send an SMS that asks something like: how many days a week do you want to work out, or how many pounds do you want to lose in the next 30 days, or do you prefer in-person or online training sessions? and if I was offering Real Estate Services, I would ask: how many bedrooms are you looking for, or when are you looking to move, or is location or house size more important? the reason I phrase the questions like this is because I want to initiate the conversation nation and get them toking about themselves and their goals and their dreams and their desired outcomes as quickly as possible. if, after some testing, though I'm not getting the responses that I originally hoped for, I'll go with plan B, which is to ask this question: is this first name, obviously replacing first name with their actual name, which you would have collected when you first generated the lead? now, the typical response you're gonna get back here is probably going to be either yes or who is this, both of which opened the door for you to quickly remind them why they signed up for more information and then ask your next question: okay, so that's where Facebook lead ads and high levels shine. but whether you're running lead ads or call ads or conversion ads or traffic ads or whatever, there are still some important things you need to know about and tweak inside your Facebook ads manager. so let's go over those now. first off, we gotta tok about Advantage campaign budget, which is the new name and new version of CBO, which stood for campaign budget optimization. even though the concept and the operating principles behind ACB is nothing new, there's still a lot of confusion about it, like what it is and when to use it and when not to use it. so let's clear that up now as a quick refresher. as we've just covered, ACB stands for Advantage campaign budget and this new name was designed to essentially replace the name of CBO, which stood for campaign budget optimization. yeah, I can see how this gets confusing. anyway. fortunately, it really is kind of just what it sounds like, which is essentially setting the budget for your campaign at that campaign level and then allowing Facebook to decide where to allocate it through the rest of the campaign, and you'll find the little toggle switch to turn this option on or off at the very top level of your entire campaign, the campaign level. now, I leave this off, especially when I'm testing a new campaign, but I'll go over more of that in just a minute. the next gotcha that you need to be aware of:

How Much do Facebook Ads Cost | In 2020

so how much do facebook ads cost? today, we're inside one of my at accounts back-office and I'm gonna give you a good idea on how much you're gonna be spending on a Facebook ad, how you can save money on your ads and how you can get your hands on a free Facebook Ads course. so let's get started. hey, what's going on? I'm jr and welcome to my channel. if you don't already know, my channel is all about learning new ways to make money online, and one of my favorite ways to make money is using Facebook ads and affiliate marketing. it's how I'm building a six-figure and come straight from my computer. if you want more info on affiliate marketing, then just click the first link in my description and you're gonna see exactly how I'm using it to build real passive income online and how I made my first $1000 straight from my computer. so again, just click the first link in my description and I'll send you all the info on that. now, how much are you gonna spend on Facebook ads? it really depends on your own budget. so, for example, if I go ahead and click on create' right here to start creating a new ad, after that, you're gonna see that you get to choose your marketing objective. so do you want to drive traffic to your website? do you want people to click on your ad and go to your website? do you want an engagement ad? so do you want people just to like your post, share it, comment on it? are you trying to do a video ad or maybe a lead generation that once you go ahead and click on one of those right there, scroll down to the bottom and, as you can see, you can set your own daily budget. so maybe you want to be spending a hundred dollars per day on an ad or maybe you just want to spend ten dollars. just go ahead and enter that in right there and that's exactly how much you're gonna be spending per day for an ad. now you have two different options: you can do a daily budget or you can do a lifetime budget. and what a lifetime budget is? for example, let's say you want an ad to run for two weeks- exactly only two weeks- and in those two weeks you want to only spend about a hundred bucks. so you can set the lifetime budget of those two weeks to a hundred bucks and that's all Facebook is gonna spend inside of those two weeks. so again, you get to choose between a daily budget and a lifetime budget. for daily, it's what you're gonna be spending on a daily basis. for a lifetime budget, is the budget you set for the lifetime of the ad now going back up here. you guys, depending on what your marketing up Java's- do you want to drive traffic to your website or do you just want an engagement ad? it's gonna really determine how much you're gonna spend per ad. so, to give you an example, as you can see right here, for this ad I was using it for link clicks. I wanted to drive traffic to my website and for that I was spending an average of one cent- excuse me, one dollar- and three cents per click. so overall I ended up spending $16 on this ad right here, as opposed to the ad right above it. that's for post engagement. so I only wanted people to like the post, comment on it or share the post, and for that I was spending one cent. her result: so obviously a huge difference between those costs right there. if you're trying to drive traffic to your website, you want people to click on your ad and go to your website. you're usually gonna spend between 75 cents and up per click. so if you set a daily budget of $10, then you're gonna get roughly between 8 to 10 clicks on their ad, right there. now, another thing that's going to determine how much you're going to spend on the ad is the location you're trying to target. so, for example, if I jump over here, as you can see inside of this ad, I was targeting Australia, Brazil, Canada, several different countries, and for Australia I was paying an average of 13 cents per result, as opposed to Brazil, where I'm only spending one cent per result. now what's the difference? the difference is: Australia is a top five - your country. the top five tier countries are usually the most expensive ones, and those are the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. those are usually the top back to your countries. every other country below that is usually a lot cheaper, because most of them are third-world countries. you know South American African countries. now, something else that can make your ad a more expensive is your relevant score. so, for example, if I jump over here, as you can see, here are some of the ads that I posted right here- if I start scrolling down, it gives me some of the analytiks for my app. so, for example, my results reach impressions. and if I keep scrolling down, as you can see, right here we have add relevant score. so you want a higher add relevant score for a cheaper cost on your ad. if Facebook things that your ad is relevant to the audience that you're trying to target, it's gonna give you a higher add relevant score and it's gonna make your ad a lot cheaper as opposed to a lower one. that's gonna end up costing you a lot more. so you do want to make sure you pay attention to your ad irrelevant score inside of your ads tab right here. so here's the ads tab. jump inside of that and scroll down to the bottom where you can, excuse me, scroll down to the side until you see add relevant score right here now. none of these are showing up right now because I haven't ran these ads in a while, but once you create an ad, you usually want to wait about a day and it's gonna give you your add relevant scored. you want to try to hit anywhere between eight and above nine and above ten being the highest guys, to get a better cost on your Facebook ad, and what that means again is that your ad is relevant to your audience you're trying to target, so people are engaging with your ad. people are liking it. it's really connecting through the audience. so you do want to make sure you do your research on who your audience is exactly before you start running your ad. to get a little bit more info on your audience, go ahead and click on this tab right here, ads manager, and jump over to the audience insights and you're gonna be able to get some more information on who your audience is, for example, the gender, the age group, what their interest is, their day, their household income and a lot more information. so make sure you do your research, check out the audience inside to get better information on your audience, guys. now another thing that will determine exactly how much you're going to spend on your ad is what you're trying to target exactly. so, for example, if I jump over here- as you can see inside of this ad right here I was targeting entrepreneurship, small business, investment, financial money stuff right there- it's usually gonna be more expensive than targeting bow and arrows, darts or bowling or you know other lower random niches like that. obviously, if you're trying to target, you know, money or financial ads, it's gonna be more competitive, meaning your ads are gonna cost a little bit more than other niches again, like bow and arrow or bowling. so exactly what you're trying to target? my determine how much you're gonna spend on the ad. now to give you guys a few tips on getting better ad cost. one huge mistake I made when I first started running Facebook ads is letting Facebook to automatik placements. now, when you create a Facebook ad, it's because you wanted to show on Facebook, right? you wanted to show when people are scrolling on their phone or maybe scrolling on their time timeline on their computer. you want them to see your ad. now, if you let Facebook through automatik placements, they're just gonna throw your ass everywhere. so, for example, they're gonna put it on Instagram, Facebook marketing plays, Facebook video feeds, right column as stories, Instagram stories, Facebook stories, messaging stories and all a bunch of other random places. if you only want your ad to be showing on Facebook when people are scrolling on their phone, then make sure you go ahead and click on edit placements right here and after that click on Facebook newsfeed- only right here. click on.

I Spent $1,000,000 On Facebook Ads (What I Learned)

in the last three years, i've spent over one million dollars on facebook ads and in this video i'll be sharing with you the four most important things that i learned along the way. these are the things that i wish i knew before i started running facebook ads, and if i had known them, i would have saved thousands of dollars in testing and found my first success much quicker. but first let me jump into my account and show you some proof. this is my facebook dashboard, so let's take a quick look at how much i've spent over the last couple of years. i know you guys don't care that much, but i just want to show you this so you know it's all legit. on account number one, i spent 22 000.. on account number two, i spent 21 000.. on this account, i spent 122 000. on this account, i spent 268 000. on this account, i spent 17 000. on this account, i spent 60 000. and lastly, on this account, me and a partner spent around 1.1 million. so i don't know the grand total, but i've spent a lot and i've learned a lot along the way. so let's get started with the first and one of the most important lessons that i've learned so far. this might be a hard pill to swallow, but you need to hear it. your strategy it doesn't matter. there are so many different facebook ad strategies out there and many beginners get caught up in trying to decide which is the best one. and if that's you, i hate to say it, but you are completely focusing on the wrong things. out of all the facebook strategies that exist, there's one thing that stays constant amongst all of them. i like to call it the big three. well, i guess that would mean there's three things anyways. the big three are your product, your creative and your offer. let's break each one of them down. there's simply no way that you can force a bad product to sell on facebook, so here are some things to look out for when trying to find a great product. find something that is already selling well on the platform. you don't have to reinvent the wheel and find the next big thing. you can simply look at what's already working and figure out how to do it better. try to find products that have been launched somewhat recently, so you can jump on the trend as it's happening and not after it's well passed. and lastly, look for a product that's somewhat evergreen. you don't want to find stuff that's only hot for a month. you want to find those products that can sell for months, even years. those are the ones that you'll be able to make millions off of. next up is the creative. now i can make a whole video about creatives themselves, and i actually have in the past, so we're not going to dig too deep into this topic. but even if you have the best product in the world, if you have a bad creative, the product is not going to be able to sell at all. a great creative can actually save a mediocre product, but it doesn't necessarily work the other way around. being able to create a high quality video or photo ad for your product is the number one skill that you need to be a successful marketer on facebook or any other platform. lastly, you need a good offer that allows you to profitably scale your product. you can do all kinds of stuff with offers like bundles, upsells, subscription models, but for the most part i try to keep it as simple as possible so it's easy for the customer to understand, and if you're able to combine these three things, you'll be able to find success with facebook, no matter what strategy you're using. this brand is called the ocean project and basically all they're doing is selling simple jewelry, but because they've combined the big three, they're able to scale this product really high. the product is really simple. it is this turtle necklace, but the big selling point is that with every sale, you can track a turtle, you can help save the turtles, and every dollar goes to funding ocean cleanups. so not only are they buying the necklace, but they're buying the peace of mind that they're giving back to the earth. in regards to the creative, they've done a good job by keeping it simple and straight to the point. they show the product, they show the benefits in the actual copy, they give a review from somebody that has ordered, they give the main features and benefits of ordering from them: money back guarantee, high reviews, 50 000 customers, the perfect gift. it is really simple, but it gets the job done and, as you can see, it has a ton of engagement. people are really pleased with the product. let's see here they say: i got mine, i love it. you get the idea here. my son bought this as a gift for me. people really like this product and, lastly, i think the best thing they have going for them is their offer. so you see that they are selling just one at a time, but every single purchase allows you to track a turtle. so instead of just saying, hey guys, we're gonna sell you this necklace that you can wear, we're gonna sell you this necklace and allow you to donate money with your purchase and allow you to track a turtle with your purchase. so the value of spending 25 has now gone up tremendously, making for a great offer. let me say one last thing about their offer. so, as you can see, they put it at 50 off and it's 25 for one necklace. conveniently, they put free shipping over 49. so if you bought two necklaces, you get free shipping. so what do you think the average consumer is going to do with a brand like this? they can target these simplest audiences and run a basic strategy and beat everybody in their market because they focused on what truly matters the most. so stop looking for that secret strategy. focus on becoming a better marketer and finding a great product. that is how you're gonna truly have success with facebook ads. let's move on to tip number two. here's the truth about facebook: the person that can spend the most will always win. now wait, don't freak out just yet, because i'm not toking about the person that has the most money or the highest budget. i'm toking about the person that can profitably spend the most to get a customer. let me explain. we have two stores, store a and store b. store a buys their product for five dollars and sells it for twenty dollars, which means they can afford to spend fifteen dollars to get a customer. store b buys their product for ten dollars and sells it for forty dollars, which means they can spend thirty dollars to get a customer. considering that facebook is an auction based platform, if store a and store b are running ads to the same audience, store b is going to win all day long. they're going to be able to consistently outbid store a because they can afford to spend more money per customer. so what can you do to be more like store b? well, it's, it's simple really. first, find products with above a 25 profit margin. this is going to make advertising so much easier. let's say your profit margin on your product is ten dollars. that means you're going to have to be consistently getting customers for around five dollars, which is almost impossible on facebook nowadays. secondly, use upsells and bundles to massively increase your average order value. this will make it so much easier to advertise on facebook because you're going to make more money per visitor that comes to your site. just find products that complement the main one that you're selling, and use an app like one click upsell to maximize your profits on each sale- and no, this video is not sponsored by them. i actually use their app and it's pretty good. and lastly, use email and sms marketing to get your existing customers to come back and buy again. this is called lifetime value. after you run a product for a long time, this becomes your most important metric to focus on. it's a lot more expensive to acquire a new customer than to just take care and sell more to the existing customers you already have. by focusing on these things, i've been able to out scale all of my competition and keep my product running longer than any of them, and the reason is simple: it's because i can spend more to get a customer. as more people jump onto facebook and instagram ads, they're only going to contin.
