3. The first notification is for orders, which you don't need to change.

4. Next is shipping, which you also don't need to change unless the box for out of delivery and delivered orders is unchecked.

5. Local delivery and pickup don't require any changes.

6. Customers' notification includes customer account invite, customer account welcome, and contact customer.

7. Email marketing allows you to customize the confirmation email, but it's recommended to hire a developer for this.

8. Returns notification doesn't require any changes.

9. Double opt-in requires customer confirmation for their email or SMS subscription.

10. Shopify email open tracking is recommended, but you can also ask for consent or choose not to track.

11. You can track all opened emails for better business performance.

12. You can also add new order templates and enable staff order notifications.

EP 9 Notifications Settings in Shopify

Welcome back to the next part of our Shopify tutorial. In this video, we will be going over the notifications tab. So, before we get started, please be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and join our Facebook group where we talk about sublimation. We are the owners of Cosmos Inc., so if you need any type of sublimation ink or pigment ink for your business, be sure to check us out.

Notifications Tab:

When you click on your notifications tab inside your settings tab, it's going to give you pretty much a breakdown of each notification that will be sent out to your customer.

Customer Notifications:

These notifications are automatically sent out to the customer. Click on the notification template to edit the content. I recommend not editing anything on this list. It's already perfectly set up. Under shipping, I don't recommend doing anything right here. Nothing under local pickup, customer, email marketing, or returns. I wouldn't even recommend clicking double opt-in. If they opt-in the first time, they're good to go.

Shopify Email Open Tracking:

Make sure this one is selected where it tracks if they open the email. That way, on your backend, you can know how to refocus your marketing efforts and/or edit your emails so that way you know what to put in your emails to get a better response for people to open the emails.

Staff Order Notifications:

If you do not want your email just getting blowed out with new orders that are coming in, of course, that's definitely a blessing. For us, we are going to click on disable so that way it won't send us an email saying that we have a new order. However, as a business owner, you need to be on it every single day Monday through Friday or whatever days you sit that are your at work days during your work hours. You need to be on it like every day as soon as you wake up.

That's it for this part of the tutorial. Be sure to join our Facebook group and subscribe to our channel. If you need any type of sublimation ink or pigment ink for your business, hit that link down below. We are the owners of Cosmos Inc. and we will get it sent out to you asap. See you in the very next video!

Shopify Sales Pop Notifications Setup Beeketing 20181217

In this episode of the Dead Guy podcast, Jared from Zfighter solutions discusses the Shopify platform and a sales pop plugin. Sales pop is a pop-up notification that shows a sale that has been made. Shopify has eliminated erroneous sales pop notifications, and now all sales pop notifications are required to be actual orders that the store has received.

To give a live view of what a sales pop notification looks like, Jared navigates to the Guerilla Geico website and shows a popup notification in the bottom left-hand corner that displays the person's name, location, and what they purchased.

Jared then navigates to the Shopify app store to search for a sales pop plugin and finds one by B Keating. This plugin is currently the best on the market and is free to use. Jared shows how to install and set up the plugin, including styling the notifications, selecting position options, and choosing a theme.

Jared explains that the plugin keeps the store honest by only displaying actual orders and not deceiving customers. He encourages listeners to add the plugin to their store and reach out with any questions or concerns.

Overall, the podcast provides a helpful guide to setting up a sales pop plugin on a Shopify store and demonstrates the benefits of using such a plugin.

How to Customize Shopify's Order Confirmation Emails

As an online store owner, you may have received Shopify's default order confirmation emails. These emails look boring and standard, but did you know that you can customize them? In this tutorial, we will show you how to customize both the text and design of these emails to make them more on brand.

Steps to Customize:

1. Find the Order Confirmation Email:

In your Shopify account, go to settings, then notifications. You will see a list of all the order and shipping notifications that Shopify sends on behalf of your store. The email we are interested in is the order confirmation email.

2. Edit the Text:

Look at the preview of the email and see what text you'd like to modify. You can edit anything that is editable and that you can find in the code. For example, you can change Thank you for your purchase to Your order is ready.

3. Edit the Button Text:

Find the text for the button and modify it. For example, change View your order to View my order.

4. Customize the Design:

Click on the Customize button to access the visual editor in Shopify. You can choose a logo and change the accent color to match your brand.

5. Preview and Save:

Preview the email and make sure everything looks the way you want it to. Save your progress when you're done.

6. Send the Email from Klaviyo:

If you want to send this email from Klaviyo for brand consistency, you need to be using Shopify Plus. You can email Shopify support and ask them to turn off the order confirmation email. Then, in Klaviyo, go to Flows and create a new flow for the order confirmation email. Customize the email as desired and preview it.

Customizing your Shopify order confirmation emails can help you build brand consistency and provide a better customer experience. With these simple steps, you can make your order confirmation emails look and sound on brand for your store.
