2. Domain Registration: Once the store is set up, you will have to purchase a domain from either Shopify, GoDaddy, or Namecheap. If you buy from Shopify, it can cost you around $10 to $30, depending on the name. Purchasing a domain with Shopify can be expensive, but it is easy to integrate. You can also buy domains from GoDaddy or Namecheap where you can find them for cheaper prices. If you use a Namecheap domain, then connecting the domain to your Shopify store can be a bit difficult, but you just need to follow the instructions.

3. Shopify App Subscriptions: Once you start getting sales on your Shopify store, you might want to upgrade your apps and take up the paid versions for better customer experience and order fulfillment. Upgrading apps can cost you anywhere around $25 to $50 monthly for the most common apps used on a daily basis.

4. Fulfillment Cost: When a customer orders a product, you have to pay for the order to the supplier, and then the supplier ships out the product to the customer. The payment made by the customer would take a few business days to reflect in your account. So, until then, you should have at least $200 to be able to fulfill the orders from your pocket.

5. Ad Spend: This is where you will spend the maximum amount of money to get visitors or customers to your shop. You have to run Facebook ads or TikTok ads to test a product. Using ads, you will need at least $500 to $1000 ad spend. If your product has a wow factor, then we would recommend trying TikTok organic, which is basically creating videos and uploading them on TikTok so that they attract people and then they can buy from your store. This method can be time-consuming, but it wouldn't cost you any money.
