00:01:28 00:01:31 gonna have well then you're gonna
00:01:29 00:01:32 absolutely Bank off of them for a couple
00:01:31 00:01:34 months so yes it's a calculated risk

00:01:34 00:01:36 going to be a trend cuz obviously you
00:01:35 00:01:37 don't know for sure I've seen a lot of

00:01:39 00:01:42 cycling through new products on all my
00:01:41 00:01:44 stores but it's just a calculated risk
00:01:42 00:01:45 and that's one you're gonna have to take
00:01:44 00:01:46 you know it's not like you're gonna lose
00:01:45 00:01:48 a lot of money you're just gonna have
00:01:46 00:01:49 lost the time you did for the product
00:01:48 00:01:51 research set it up in your store the
00:01:49 00:01:52 description the ad campaign maybe a
00:01:51 00:01:54 little bit of money for Facebook or
00:01:52 00:01:55 Instagram but it's really not that bad
00:01:54 00:01:56 so you definitely to be kind of hedging
00:01:55 00:01:58 your bet on products that have the
00:01:56 00:01:59 potential to go viral I think everything
00:01:58 00:02:01 is a trend the internet right now is a
00:01:59 00:02:03 trend digital marketing social media
00:02:01 00:02:04 marketing agency it's a trend yeah it'll
00:02:03 00:02:06 be around for a long-ass time but it's a
00:02:04 00:02:07 trend it's hot right now shop buy drop
00:02:06 00:02:09 shipping it's hot right now Amazon FBA
00:02:07 00:02:11 taught everything is a trend so you just
00:02:09 00:02:12 need to take part of that and kind of
00:02:11 00:02:14 understand that when it comes
00:02:12 00:02:15 picking products so if you see you like
00:02:14 00:02:16 more successful dropshippers this is
00:02:15 00:02:17 what I kind of like to do I'll look at
00:02:16 00:02:19 other stores that I know are making
00:02:17 00:02:21 sales and if there's products I see
00:02:19 00:02:22 moving up on Aliexpress you know
00:02:21 00:02:24 starting to get a good amount of orders
00:02:22 00:02:25 they have a good price whatever I'll put
00:02:24 00:02:27 it on my store if it fits my niche and
00:02:25 00:02:29 I'll start testing to myself because you
00:02:27 00:02:30 know again has the potential to go viral
00:02:29 00:02:32 and do really really well so just be
00:02:30 00:02:34 super like I like to be hyper aware of
00:02:32 00:02:35 everything I study the marketplace I
00:02:34 00:02:37 study what people like I'm studying
00:02:35 00:02:38 psychology all the time
00:02:37 00:02:40 little did you guys know I'm just gonna
00:02:38 00:02:43 show you here you're sitting on a stack
00:02:40 00:02:45 of a lot of books a lot of those are
00:02:43 00:02:46 psychology I don't even read too many
00:02:45 00:02:48 business books anymore just because
00:02:46 00:02:50 psychology is more interesting and to be
00:02:48 00:02:51 honest it's more relevant in business
00:02:50 00:02:53 especially with dropshipping with all
00:02:51 00:02:55 this internet stuff it's it's psychology
00:02:53 00:02:56 that's what a lot of it comes down to
00:02:55 00:02:58 like the ad copy and everything and
00:02:56 00:03:00 getting people to actually buy you need
00:02:58 00:03:01 to understand a consumer which I know I
00:03:00 00:03:02 just kind of got a little bit off topic
00:03:01 00:03:04 with trends but it's a trend so you need
00:03:02 00:03:06 to find products that have the potential
00:03:04 00:03:08 to become a good trend and eventually
00:03:06 00:03:09 once you have like if you're there's two
00:03:08 00:03:10 different types of things you can do

00:03:12 00:03:16 brand if you have a brand then you have
00:03:14 00:03:17 the power to create the trend if you

00:03:18 00:03:22 moving and that brands create into the
00:03:20 00:03:23 trend I hope that makes sense you can go

00:03:32 00:03:35 you need to look insane and I know you
00:03:34 00:03:37 hear this all the time but I'm gonna
00:03:35 00:03:38 tell it right to your face you better be
00:03:37 00:03:40 testing if you want to make money better
00:03:38 00:03:41 be testing the new products testing
00:03:40 00:03:42 different campaigns whether Facebook
00:03:41 00:03:44 Instagram different site layout if it's
00:03:42 00:03:45 not doing well a different ad copy
00:03:44 00:03:47 learning reading books doing everything
00:03:45 00:03:49 just test test test I cannot stress that
00:03:47 00:03:50 enough because here's the thing let's
00:03:49 00:03:52 say I'm just gonna make up or this is
00:03:50 00:03:55 just gonna make no sense until I explain
00:03:52 00:03:57 it let's say you have to test 10/10
00:03:55 00:03:59 whatever it you have to test 10 so if
00:03:57 00:04:00 you're gonna test let's say it takes a
00:03:59 00:04:02 week to test one so it's gonna take you
00:04:00 00:04:03 10 weeks to get to the point where then
00:04:02 00:04:05 you're making money why would you not
00:04:03 00:04:07 just double that and test twice as fast
00:04:05 00:04:08 or instead of launching one campaign
00:04:07 00:04:09 every day launch 5 right because then
00:04:08 00:04:11 you're shortening the timeframe so
00:04:09 00:04:12 instead of it taking 3 months for you to
00:04:11 00:04:14 figure it out and start making money
00:04:12 00:04:16 it's gonna take you 1 month or 3 weeks
00:04:14 00:04:18 so you want to accelerate that as fast

00:04:18 00:04:21 Shopify store my business partner we're
00:04:20 00:04:23 really just focusing on Facebook Ads we
00:04:21 00:04:24 just launched 3 more products each with
00:04:23 00:04:26 3 different ad sets
00:04:24 00:04:27 yesterday alone which isn't even that
00:04:26 00:04:28 much honestly we should be doing three
00:04:27 00:04:30 to five but we're testing as fast as
00:04:28 00:04:31 possible we're getting some decent
00:04:30 00:04:32 results most of the campaign's fail
00:04:31 00:04:34 which is the point that we're learning
00:04:32 00:04:35 to figuring out what works and what
00:04:34 00:04:36 doesn't when it comes to Instagram it's
00:04:35 00:04:38 really not that hard we can make like a
00:04:36 00:04:39 thousand bucks a week if we want but
00:04:38 00:04:40 we're just focusing on Facebook now that
00:04:39 00:04:42 we have to look like audience so we're
00:04:40 00:04:43 taking away from Instagram just a little
00:04:42 00:04:44 bit because you know we're focusing our
00:04:43 00:04:46 time and attention on Facebook because
00:04:44 00:04:47 as I've spent so many times before
00:04:46 00:04:48 Facebook is where you're gonna scale you
00:04:47 00:04:50 know if you figure out how to make a
00:04:48 00:04:51 couple sales a day and get like 50 to
00:04:50 00:04:52 100 sales in your first month or
00:04:51 00:04:54 whatever from Instagram which is just
00:04:52 00:04:56 cold ass traffic then there's absolutely
00:04:54 00:04:58 no reason why you can't start doing 500
00:04:56 00:04:59 a thousand ten thousand dollars a day on
00:04:58 00:05:00 Facebook it makes sense what you
00:04:59 00:05:01 understand I have a lot of friends who
00:05:00 00:05:03 are doing really really well and
00:05:01 00:05:04 thankfully that helped me out with a lot
00:05:03 00:05:05 of this stuff so I understand and I'm
00:05:04 00:05:07 implementing it and starting to see the
00:05:05 00:05:08 results but it just comes down to
00:05:07 00:05:10 testing like I said that's gonna be like
00:05:08 00:05:12 the main key to try and do that as fast
00:05:10 00:05:13 as you can but just know that the
00:05:12 00:05:15 testing is never gonna end that's the
00:05:13 00:05:16 point testing is the name of the game
00:05:15 00:05:18 you're constantly gonna be trying new
00:05:16 00:05:19 stores new trends new hot topics hot
00:05:18 00:05:20 products literally everything you're
00:05:19 00:05:22 gonna have to test if you want to win
00:05:20 00:05:23 especially in this industry and the
00:05:22 00:05:26 internet where it's moving so fast now
00:05:23 00:05:27 number three biggest mistake it applies
00:05:26 00:05:29 to a lot more than just Shopify you
00:05:27 00:05:31 could probably apply this to everything
00:05:29 00:05:33 like and that is commitment most people
00:05:31 00:05:34 simply aren't committed they see some
00:05:33 00:05:36 young dude with a cool car telling them
00:05:34 00:05:38 that oh this lifestyle is possible
00:05:36 00:05:39 because of Louisville blah ecommerce and
00:05:38 00:05:41 that's great you know it's cool people
00:05:39 00:05:42 get inspired by that whatever cars are
00:05:41 00:05:44 the big motivation of mine too what I
00:05:42 00:05:46 just show you on both my phones the m4
00:05:44 00:05:47 but at the same time it takes a lot more
00:05:46 00:05:49 than that the motivation and the
00:05:47 00:05:51 commitment has to run so deep in your
00:05:49 00:05:53 veins pastures to car that you have to
00:05:51 00:05:54 be dedicated and willing to put in the
00:05:53 00:05:55 time because like I said with testing
00:05:54 00:05:57 it's not just gonna happen overnight
00:05:55 00:05:58 yeah if you're testing fast whatever you
00:05:57 00:06:00 could get lucky early on it hit
00:05:58 00:06:01 something that works and just scale and
00:06:00 00:06:03 build off that then once you make fifty
00:06:01 00:06:04 or hundred grand a month off that one
00:06:03 00:06:05 thing you got lucky with that it's
00:06:04 00:06:07 pretty much gonna be retargeting
00:06:05 00:06:08 look-alike audiences and email marketing
00:06:07 00:06:10 and so you might just be set from there
00:06:08 00:06:11 for a long time you're still you have to
00:06:10 00:06:13 be testing it takes time you have to be
00:06:11 00:06:15 dedicated I feel like a lot of people
00:06:13 00:06:17 just in most businesses they're shiny
00:06:15 00:06:18 ball syndrome if you guys don't know
00:06:17 00:06:21 what that is it's like let me give an
00:06:18 00:06:23 example you're driving on the highway 5
00:06:21 00:06:25 lane highway and you know the lanes
00:06:23 00:06:26 you're in traffic some lanes constantly
00:06:25 00:06:28 go faster than others and it's moving
00:06:26 00:06:29 around but overall it's usually better
00:06:28 00:06:30 to stay in one lane because eventually
00:06:29 00:06:32 you'll still get there it's just the
00:06:30 00:06:33 same amount of time there's too many
00:06:32 00:06:34 people who like they see one things
00:06:33 00:06:36 start to go faster and then jump over
00:06:34 00:06:38 and then it slows down and where they
00:06:36 00:06:39 or passes them and so they jumped back
00:06:38 00:06:41 over and they're constantly just playing
00:06:39 00:06:43 themselves like DJ Khaled said they're
00:06:41 00:06:44 getting behind it's the same thing with
00:06:43 00:06:45 business they're jumping around they're
00:06:44 00:06:47 not being committed they're not staying
00:06:45 00:06:48 focused on one thing the people who
00:06:47 00:06:49 actually do well with this wood shop
00:06:48 00:06:50 fight I don't want to like shot anyone
00:06:49 00:06:52 out and give them free plugs but like
00:06:50 00:06:53 just people like Thaddeus and Geoffrey
00:06:52 00:06:55 bunting I know they've been doing this
00:06:53 00:06:57 for like three four years and while
00:06:55 00:06:58 all their friends jumped around and
00:06:57 00:06:59 tried different stuff they didn't and
00:06:58 00:07:01 that's why they're successful with this
00:06:59 00:07:02 so I feel like you guys can definitely
00:07:01 00:07:04 apply that to your life and make sure
00:07:02 00:07:05 that you're actually dedicated and doing
00:07:04 00:07:06 things for the right reason because if
00:07:05 00:07:08 you find the business that genuinely
00:07:06 00:07:09 interest you and you want to put in the
00:07:08 00:07:10 time of effort that's great if it's
00:07:09 00:07:12 e-commerce that's cool that's awesome
00:07:10 00:07:13 freaking focus on it but don't be
00:07:12 00:07:15 jumping around trying to do multiple
00:07:13 00:07:16 things I actually did a consulting call
00:07:15 00:07:18 a couple weeks ago with someone who was
00:07:16 00:07:19 like oh I want to be focus on this main
00:07:18 00:07:20 three things I wanna learn shop five
00:07:19 00:07:22 affiliate marketing and social media
00:07:20 00:07:23 marketing and my buddy and I who we were
00:07:22 00:07:26 doing the call we got the camera we go
00:07:23 00:07:27 dude pick one one you get one and the
00:07:26 00:07:28 reason we did that is because if he's
00:07:27 00:07:30 focusing on all these different things
00:07:28 00:07:32 and he's only gonna be able to put a 33%
00:07:30 00:07:33 on each of them so it's gonna take a lot
00:07:32 00:07:35 longer for all um he's probably gonna
00:07:33 00:07:37 fail results aren't gonna come as fast
00:07:35 00:07:39 the best way to do it is to master one
00:07:37 00:07:40 thing absolutely just one thing and then
00:07:39 00:07:41 you can branch out once you like
00:07:40 00:07:43 automate that because at least the
00:07:41 00:07:44 businesses and stuff that I'm trying to
00:07:43 00:07:45 do it's you know it's front-end loaded
00:07:44 00:07:47 work then you can outsource it it
00:07:45 00:07:48 becomes pretty passive and that allows
00:07:47 00:07:50 you to focus on other things build other
00:07:48 00:07:51 skills and get into other businesses so
00:07:50 00:07:52 I hope that those three minutes sense
