00:00:50 00:00:54 because unfortunately I am from a lot of
00:00:52 00:00:55 students that have gone through my
00:00:54 00:00:57 students I've gone through different
00:00:55 00:00:59 peoples programs a lot of this stuff out
00:00:57 00:01:00 there it just regurgitated information
00:00:59 00:01:02 that people are just packaging together
00:01:00 00:01:04 and selling you guys and that's not fair
00:01:02 00:01:07 all right it's not fair whatsoever okay
00:01:04 00:01:09 now the way to actually properly build
00:01:07 00:01:11 an e-commerce business is to one solve
00:01:09 00:01:14 problems okay what's happening in the
00:01:11 00:01:16 industry right now is that basically
00:01:14 00:01:19 everybody and their mother is drop
00:01:16 00:01:21 shipping so what's happening is that
00:01:19 00:01:24 right you have this super bloody red
00:01:21 00:01:26 ocean of of people right you this is you
00:01:24 00:01:28 this is all these other people that are
00:01:26 00:01:30 all selling the same exact thing as you
00:01:28 00:01:31 and nobody's ever to stand out like
00:01:30 00:01:33 everybody's just selling to the same
00:01:31 00:01:35 customers selling the same product right
00:01:33 00:01:36 with no differentiating factor and all
00:01:35 00:01:38 these people you know what they're doing
00:01:36 00:01:39 they're just lowering their price I go
00:01:38 00:01:41 I'll lower my price I'll lower my purse
00:01:39 00:01:43 all over my face lower my price before
00:01:41 00:01:44 you don't even have any margin you never
00:01:43 00:01:45 gonna be able to pay yourself in this
00:01:44 00:01:47 model you know I sure as hell was never
00:01:45 00:01:49 able to pay myself in this model myself
00:01:47 00:01:51 either guys and I struggled like this
00:01:49 00:01:52 for years I was making sales in my
00:01:51 00:01:54 business but I was never able to
00:01:52 00:01:56 actually pay myself I wasn't able to
00:01:54 00:01:58 quit my job right so what do we do right
00:01:56 00:02:00 we have to create a blue ocean here okay
00:01:58 00:02:02 we need to create a blue ocean I hope
00:02:00 00:02:06 you guys can see this a blue ocean is
00:02:02 00:02:08 basically a reason for you for your
00:02:06 00:02:10 customers to buy from you instead of all
00:02:08 00:02:12 these other people in here that are all
00:02:10 00:02:14 selling the same thing as you right and

00:02:20 00:02:24 physical goods in it but it could be
00:02:22 00:02:26 digital stuff it might be interviews you
00:02:24 00:02:29 did with people in your niche it might
00:02:26 00:02:31 be um cheat sheets PDF guides right
00:02:29 00:02:32 helpful information that your niche
00:02:31 00:02:34 would like the people in here would like
00:02:32 00:02:37 and this is your differentiating factor
00:02:34 00:02:39 right this offer not testing more
00:02:37 00:02:41 Shopify products not launching more
00:02:39 00:02:42 products on Amazon FBA right you just
00:02:41 00:02:45 need one product that it's already
00:02:42 00:02:47 selling well in this super red bloody
00:02:45 00:02:49 competitive ocean take that product wrap
00:02:47 00:02:52 it in an offer right we do not sell
00:02:49 00:02:54 products products are commodities okay
00:02:52 00:02:56 when you are commodity the only thing

00:03:05 00:03:09 consumers that are just seeing the same
00:03:07 00:03:10 exact ads from the same old drop
00:03:09 00:03:12 shippers that are not they don't care
00:03:10 00:03:13 about them right I care about my
00:03:12 00:03:14 customers so I create a really good
00:03:13 00:03:16 offer it's gonna help them get the
00:03:14 00:03:17 result they want right if it's fishing
00:03:16 00:03:19 I'm gonna help them catch more fish I'm
00:03:17 00:03:21 gonna make that my mission in my
00:03:19 00:03:23 business to help those people catch more
00:03:21 00:03:24 fish catch bigger fish so they come back
00:03:23 00:03:27 and always buy from me and refer people
00:03:24 00:03:30 to me okay that's the strategy now again
00:03:27 00:03:32 once you have this offer right the
00:03:30 00:03:34 medium has changed we do not sell
00:03:32 00:03:36 through a Shopify store if you like not
00:03:34 00:03:38 making money continue doing it I mean it
00:03:36 00:03:39 doesn't matter to me what you do I'm

00:04:06 00:04:10 journey oh you always have to think
00:04:08 00:04:12 about what's the customer going through
00:04:10 00:04:14 right how are they what's the buying
00:04:12 00:04:16 process how is this all working out so
00:04:14 00:04:18 let's say you're driving traffic to a
00:04:16 00:04:20 Shopify store right now when you drive
00:04:18 00:04:22 traffic to this Shopify store right be
00:04:20 00:04:23 it Facebook ads or whatever you're
00:04:22 00:04:25 selling I'm outta frame now but let me
00:04:23 00:04:26 assume out a little bit for you guys
00:04:25 00:04:28 there you go
00:04:26 00:04:31 so when you drive
00:04:28 00:04:33 traffic to your Shopify store right your
00:04:31 00:04:37 customer is going to be presented with a
00:04:33 00:04:38 ton of different options right there's
00:04:37 00:04:40 going to be links all over the place
00:04:38 00:04:42 there's gonna be millions of products
00:04:40 00:04:43 for them to choose from they're gonna be
00:04:42 00:04:45 confused they're not gonna know what to
00:04:43 00:04:47 do right this is my conversion rates on
00:04:45 00:04:49 Shopify search solo right because
00:04:47 00:04:51 confused buyers don't buy when you give
00:04:49 00:04:53 people options they're gonna be like oh
00:04:51 00:04:55 I don't know I'll decide later
00:04:53 00:04:57 no they decide now right they need to
00:04:55 00:04:58 give me money now at least the people
00:04:57 00:05:00 that I don't need to indoctrinate
00:04:58 00:05:03 further okay so they first hit your like
00:05:00 00:05:04 homepage right which a lot of people are
00:05:03 00:05:06 just obsessed with for some reason I
00:05:04 00:05:08 have this home paper home base where no
00:05:06 00:05:10 money is exchanged right
00:05:08 00:05:12 then they maybe go browse around some of
00:05:10 00:05:15 your products there and they finally hit
00:05:12 00:05:19 a product page product legislate page
00:05:15 00:05:21 product page right they decide to add to
00:05:19 00:05:23 cart which they have to they have to hit
00:05:21 00:05:26 Add to Cart right here right and then
00:05:23 00:05:28 they finally go to a cart page
00:05:26 00:05:31 and then they own the cart page they
00:05:28 00:05:34 have to click checkout right and on the
00:05:31 00:05:36 checkout page that's finally when they
00:05:34 00:05:37 can give us some money right they put in
00:05:36 00:05:39 their billing and their shipping and
00:05:37 00:05:41 frame you look at the disconnect look at
00:05:39 00:05:42 the disconnect this person went from
00:05:41 00:05:44 note not knowing you and you're
00:05:42 00:05:45 expecting them to do all that I don't
00:05:44 00:05:47 think so
00:05:45 00:05:48 right this is part of the problem guys
00:05:47 00:05:51 right and a lot of people made a lot of
00:05:48 00:05:53 money this way when look two three years
00:05:51 00:05:54 ago and everybody was basically you know
00:05:53 00:05:56 this brand new model if you just throw
00:05:54 00:05:58 any random product though on this
00:05:56 00:05:59 product page run traffic to the product
00:05:58 00:06:01 page directly and people would go
00:05:59 00:06:04 through this but now attention spans are
00:06:01 00:06:06 lower right competi competition is
00:06:04 00:06:08 really high so you have to differentiate
00:06:06 00:06:09 yourself you can't do the same thing
00:06:08 00:06:11 that everybody else is doing expensive
00:06:09 00:06:11 expecting different results that's
00:06:11 00:06:13 insanity
00:06:11 00:06:16 it's literally the definition of
00:06:13 00:06:17 insanity okay now how do we fix this
00:06:16 00:06:19 well we changed the medium right we
00:06:17 00:06:21 change the medium right because we have
00:06:19 00:06:24 our offer right now that's gonna get us
00:06:21 00:06:25 out of the red ocean right now we just
00:06:24 00:06:27 have to sell it differently we have to
00:06:25 00:06:30 sell it in a way then it's gonna make us
00:06:27 00:06:33 a ridiculous amount of money and is also
00:06:30 00:06:36 going to make your customer have a great
00:06:33 00:06:37 buying experience that's the key win-win
00:06:36 00:06:39 situations if it's not a win-win
00:06:37 00:06:40 situation it's just in your favor
00:06:39 00:06:42 you won't build a business if it's a
00:06:40 00:06:44 win-win you will build a business okay
00:06:42 00:06:47 extremely key to understand now we use
00:06:44 00:06:49 something called a subscription-based
00:06:47 00:06:52 sales funnel right a subscription-based
00:06:49 00:06:55 sales funnel it's kind of like my my my
00:06:52 00:06:57 bread and butter okay where we basically
00:06:55 00:06:59 guide our customer through a sales
00:06:57 00:07:01 process telling them what they need how
00:06:59 00:07:02 much they need it up and also asking
00:07:01 00:07:04 them hey do you want to join on a
00:07:02 00:07:06 monthly plan where we bill you every
00:07:04 00:07:10 single month in exchange for value
00:07:06 00:07:12 products whatever it is okay now the way
00:07:10 00:07:16 a funnel kind of looks is we don't send
00:07:12 00:07:17 them to a homepage home pages are
00:07:16 00:07:19 pointless
00:07:17 00:07:21 they don't make me money why would I use
00:07:19 00:07:24 a home page right so what I send them to
00:07:21 00:07:25 is an opt-in page right and an opt-in
00:07:24 00:07:28 page is designed to collect an email
00:07:25 00:07:30 address right asset immediately I'm
00:07:28 00:07:31 already making money if somebody give me
00:07:30 00:07:33 I'll just already making money every
00:07:31 00:07:36 email I have I make over $1 on per month
00:07:33 00:07:38 in sales right so if you have thousand
00:07:36 00:07:39 emails you better be making more than a
00:07:38 00:07:41 thousand dollars a month in sales if
00:07:39 00:07:44 you're not your stuffs broken okay and
00:07:41 00:07:46 you need to like go invest in something
00:07:44 00:07:48 and learn how to market properly to
00:07:46 00:07:49 people but you opt-in page is where
00:07:48 00:07:52 you're collecting that email address
00:07:49 00:07:55 after the email address they go to an
00:07:52 00:07:57 order form page order form page we offer
00:07:55 00:07:59 quantity discounts and we offer order
00:07:57 00:08:00 bumps order bumps or pre-purchase
00:07:59 00:08:02 upsells similar to being in a grocery
00:08:00 00:08:04 store checkout line right Altoids gum
00:08:02 00:08:06 chips whatever easy toss in items right
00:08:04 00:08:07 here you're already making 3x more than
00:08:06 00:08:10 you would on a Shopify store in two
00:08:07 00:08:13 pages two pages you just made more in
00:08:10 00:08:15 those two pages three times more than
00:08:13 00:08:17 your Shopify store just because the
00:08:15 00:08:19 quantity break discounts are giving them
00:08:17 00:08:23 here and our order bumps that we have on
00:08:19 00:08:25 here as well in two pages no disconnect
00:08:23 00:08:27 the nice thing about these pages guys is
00:08:25 00:08:29 they're simple they're binary there yes
00:08:27 00:08:32 there no there one there zero there no
00:08:29 00:08:34 are no if ands or buts okay if there are
00:08:32 00:08:35 if ands or buts your customers gonna
00:08:34 00:08:36 leave this is why you know what the
00:08:35 00:08:40 conversion rate on these kind of stores
00:08:36 00:08:41 are right ten to fifteen percent minimum
00:08:40 00:08:43 I have students doing close to 80
00:08:41 00:08:45 percent which is ridiculous
00:08:43 00:08:47 I mean let me give you some perspective
00:08:45 00:08:49 here that means ten percent conversion
00:08:47 00:08:51 rate that means 10 out of 100 people
00:08:49 00:08:53 will buy from you shop if I release
00:08:51 00:08:56 these numbers won't
00:08:53 00:08:59 three percent average Shopify store 1.3
00:08:56 00:09:01 percent average Shopify store is the
00:08:59 00:09:02 conversion rate that means 1.3 people
00:09:01 00:09:04 out of 100 will buy from your Shopify
00:09:02 00:09:05 store why for this exact reason I'm

00:09:05 00:09:09 there's too much disconnect there's too
00:09:07 00:09:10 much going on people are goldfish I'm a

00:13:02 00:13:06 thank-you pages i'll link one amazon one

00:13:06 00:13:10 product and another funnel where I just
00:13:08 00:13:15 send them back in right this is how you
00:13:10 00:13:17 win right look at this 1 2 3 4 5 pages 5

00:13:17 00:13:22 focus on your offer right that's your
00:13:19 00:13:25 blue ocean opportunity you focus on your
00:13:22 00:13:27 funnel and you focus on the traffic

00:13:27 00:13:30 you have more of time or money ok and
00:13:29 00:13:32 you have to be honest with each other
