00:00:27 00:00:30 can't even track the
00:00:29 00:00:32 product and the supplier is not
00:00:30 00:00:34 responding anymore and i've also seen
00:00:32 00:00:36 people complaining that their suppliers
00:00:34 00:00:39 overcharged them without them knowing
00:00:36 00:00:41 and now they can't get a refund while
00:00:39 00:00:44 this seems a bit stretched out this
00:00:41 00:00:46 is absolutely true and it happens often
00:00:44 00:00:46 so you don't want to get in such a

00:02:30 00:02:34 i've dealt with a lot of suppliers where

00:02:39 00:02:42 shipping
00:02:40 00:02:43 and the shipments were on average 25 to

00:02:43 00:02:47 and believe it or not these suppliers do
00:02:46 00:02:48 lie especially if it's not a good
00:02:47 00:02:50 supplier because
00:02:48 00:02:52 they want more money in their pocket so
00:02:50 00:02:54 they ship out with aliexpress standards
00:02:52 00:02:55 so they can get the money for a packet
00:02:54 00:02:57 and keep it for themselves so
00:02:55 00:02:59 it is really really important as you can
00:02:57 00:03:01 see to even focus on suppliers
00:02:59 00:03:03 to prevent any type of problems
00:03:01 00:03:04 especially again while you're scaling
00:03:03 00:03:05 but
00:03:04 00:03:08 what are the consequences of a bad
00:03:05 00:03:09 supplier we already went over a few but
00:03:08 00:03:11 when it comes to slow shipping your
00:03:09 00:03:14 customers are going to start to complain
00:03:11 00:03:15 it's not a matter of if it's a matter of
00:03:14 00:03:17 when even when you use a good supplier
00:03:15 00:03:18 customers are often complaining because
00:03:17 00:03:20 even on
00:03:18 00:03:21 average shipping times are again 7 to 22
00:03:20 00:03:23 business days but
00:03:21 00:03:25 with these bad suppliers they're taking
00:03:23 00:03:27 a lot of time
00:03:25 00:03:29 processing your order and they're
00:03:27 00:03:31 usually not shipping with e-packet
00:03:29 00:03:32 so you're looking at around a 30-day
00:03:31 00:03:34 range for getting a product delivered
00:03:32 00:03:36 and this is of course going to lead to a
00:03:34 00:03:37 lot of customers complaining often
00:03:36 00:03:38 chargebacks
00:03:37 00:03:40 and in addition to the shipping problems
00:03:38 00:03:42 these bad suppliers often don't even
00:03:40 00:03:43 care about the product they're just
00:03:42 00:03:45 trying to make that money so
00:03:43 00:03:47 they often have products which are
00:03:45 00:03:48 faulty inaccurate to the descriptions or
00:03:47 00:03:50 the images
00:03:48 00:03:53 or they save money on packaging the
00:03:50 00:03:54 product and the product arrives broken
00:03:53 00:03:56 so overall even the product quality
00:03:54 00:03:58 itself is very very low
00:03:56 00:04:00 and it's sort of like a tiking time
00:03:58 00:04:01 bomb because after a while
00:04:00 00:04:03 customers are going to start complaining
00:04:01 00:04:05 and complaining to the point where
00:04:03 00:04:08 you're having to lose trust with your
00:04:05 00:04:09 customer because of these bad suppliers
00:04:08 00:04:11 you're going to be facing a lot of
00:04:09 00:04:13 chargebacks and it is also possible that
00:04:11 00:04:15 your entire shopify store
00:04:13 00:04:17 your payment gateways can be closed
00:04:15 00:04:17 completely i had this happen to a good
00:04:17 00:04:20 friend of mine
00:04:17 00:04:22 where she had a chargeback rate of above
00:04:20 00:04:25 one percent hers was around two percent
00:04:22 00:04:27 and because of this stripe decided to
00:04:25 00:04:29 close her payment gateway account
00:04:27 00:04:31 and she was scaling at that time so
00:04:29 00:04:32 during such times it is a very very bad

00:04:37 00:04:40 you do so you don't have to face such

00:04:42 00:04:45 an easy few step process which can let
00:04:44 00:04:46 you decide whether the supplier you're
00:04:45 00:04:48 dealing with
00:04:46 00:04:50 is worth doing business with or not so
00:04:48 00:04:50 the first thing that i look out for is
00:04:50 00:04:54 that they have a
00:04:50 00:04:56 positive feedback rate of 95 or more
00:04:54 00:04:57 i do not usually use a supplier if he or
00:04:56 00:05:00 she has a positive
00:04:57 00:05:01 feedback rate of less than 95 because
00:05:00 00:05:03 even 95
00:05:01 00:05:04 is very very average that means you have
00:05:03 00:05:06 had multiple people who have been
00:05:04 00:05:08 unsatisfied with the product
00:05:06 00:05:10 or your shipping speed or anything else

00:05:28 00:05:31 they're the people that work in their
00:05:29 00:05:33 company leave fake feedback for their
00:05:31 00:05:35 own products and this is
00:05:33 00:05:37 really really possible even sellers on
00:05:35 00:05:38 amazon do this so that is why if you're
00:05:37 00:05:40 dealing with a store which is more than
00:05:38 00:05:42 six months old usually there's
00:05:40 00:05:44 too much of a time gap for it to be a
00:05:42 00:05:46 bad store and especially if it has
00:05:44 00:05:48 over 95 feedback that is really a good
00:05:46 00:05:50 sign along with that you want to be
00:05:48 00:05:51 looking at shipping options
00:05:50 00:05:53 if the supplier doesn't even offer a
00:05:51 00:05:55 packet that's a straight big no right
00:05:53 00:05:56 from the start you don't even want to
00:05:55 00:05:57 use that supplier
00:05:56 00:05:59 and if they offer any type of other
00:05:57 00:06:01 shipping options you want to make sure
00:05:59 00:06:03 that it is as fast as a packet if not
00:06:01 00:06:05 faster because there are a few shipping
00:06:03 00:06:06 methods which are faster than e-packet
00:06:05 00:06:08 but the minimum
00:06:06 00:06:10 is e-packet and along with that the
00:06:08 00:06:10 product that you're trying to buy or
00:06:10 00:06:12 test
00:06:10 00:06:15 or add to your store it needs to have a
00:06:12 00:06:16 rating of 4.0 or more
00:06:15 00:06:18 usually in my experience if a product
00:06:16 00:06:19 has less than 4.0 stars for their
00:06:18 00:06:21 reviews
00:06:19 00:06:22 it is not a really a good product with a
00:06:21 00:06:24 lot of quality
00:06:22 00:06:26 or it has some other problems and even
00:06:24 00:06:28 if the product starts selling well
00:06:26 00:06:30 you really don't want to invite these
00:06:28 00:06:31 problems because in the future once
00:06:30 00:06:33 people start getting
00:06:31 00:06:34 their orders they will start charging
00:06:33 00:06:36 back if the product
00:06:34 00:06:38 is bad and usually a product with less
00:06:36 00:06:40 than four star reviews
00:06:38 00:06:41 does have problems with it so you want
00:06:40 00:06:41 one thing you want to do to make sure
00:06:41 00:06:43 that
00:06:41 00:06:46 even if it's at four stars that the
00:06:43 00:06:48 reviews are real because again a lot of
00:06:46 00:06:49 aliexpress suppliers like to fake their
00:06:48 00:06:51 reviews in fact
00:06:49 00:06:53 one of my suppliers in the past told me
00:06:51 00:06:56 that a lot of aliexpress suppliers ship
00:06:53 00:06:58 a large portion of their product the
00:06:56 00:07:00 main winning product at least to an
00:06:58 00:07:02 empty house in the united states or any
00:07:00 00:07:04 other country to make it seem like that
00:07:02 00:07:05 product got a lot of orders and once it
00:07:04 00:07:08 gets delivered after a few
00:07:05 00:07:09 weeks or months they will often act as
00:07:08 00:07:11 if they bought those
00:07:09 00:07:13 and relieve feedback for themselves so
00:07:11 00:07:15 these things are very sketchy and they
00:07:13 00:07:17 do happen so in order to not fall into a
00:07:15 00:07:19 trap like this you need to really make
00:07:17 00:07:21 your decisions based on the metrics
00:07:19 00:07:23 that the supplier has and not just go
00:07:21 00:07:24 based on feelings or emotions because i
00:07:23 00:07:25 know
00:07:24 00:07:27 it is really exciting to get your first
00:07:25 00:07:29 winning product but once the products
00:07:27 00:07:30 just start to sell you really want to
00:07:29 00:07:33 look at the supplier and see
00:07:30 00:07:34 if they are worth your time and if you
00:07:33 00:07:35 should continue doing business with them
00:07:34 00:07:37 because once you get a large
00:07:35 00:07:39 portion of orders and the supplier turns
00:07:37 00:07:41 out to be a fraud you're going to be
00:07:39 00:07:42 dealing with a lot of bad things
00:07:41 00:07:43 but the last thing you want to be
00:07:42 00:07:45 looking out for is the description is
00:07:43 00:07:46 there a good description written for
00:07:45 00:07:48 that product because
00:07:46 00:07:50 in my own experience trustability is
00:07:48 00:07:52 associated with the description as well
00:07:50 00:07:54 those suppliers which are trustable
00:07:52 00:07:56 often take more time to put more
00:07:54 00:07:56 information in their description to make
00:07:56 00:07:58 sure
00:07:56 00:07:59 that the reader knows everything about
00:07:58 00:08:01 the product and those suppliers who
00:07:59 00:08:02 don't have big descriptions are often
00:08:01 00:08:04 those people are just trying to make
00:08:02 00:08:06 money quickly but in addition to this
00:08:04 00:08:08 you want to look at one specific
00:08:06 00:08:10 question which a lot of people don't
00:08:08 00:08:12 even know about exists on aliexpress
00:08:10 00:08:14 and that is the buyer q a if i see
00:08:12 00:08:16 questions asked by other buyers
00:08:14 00:08:18 in the buyer q a that is really a good
00:08:16 00:08:20 sign that this supplier is trustworthy
00:08:18 00:08:22 especially if they have answered the and
00:08:20 00:08:24 the buyer q a is in the last portion and
00:08:22 00:08:26 i'll be showing you that very shortly on

00:08:35 00:08:40 so one main reason along with finding
00:08:38 00:08:41 hot selling products
00:08:40 00:08:44 that we sort by the most amount of
00:08:41 00:08:45 orders is because the suppliers with the
00:08:44 00:08:47 highest amount of orders
00:08:45 00:08:49 are often the suppliers that you can
00:08:47 00:08:51 trust yourself and that is because they
00:08:49 00:08:51 have reached a certain amount of orders
00:08:51 00:08:53 where
00:08:51 00:08:55 they can't have reach without being
00:08:53 00:08:57 loyal and actually
00:08:55 00:08:58 providing the service they offer for
00:08:57 00:09:01 example this supplier has orders for
00:08:58 00:09:04 this product which are at about a 71
00:09:01 00:09:05 350 and even with this amount of orders
00:09:04 00:09:06 they have about
00:09:05 00:09:09 four and a half stars of reviews so
00:09:06 00:09:11 clearly the supplier is trustworthy
00:09:09 00:09:12 because of the high amount of orders and
00:09:11 00:09:14 the reviews
00:09:12 00:09:15 but even if a specific product doesn't
00:09:14 00:09:18 have reviews if they have
00:09:15 00:09:19 70 000 orders you can feel a little bit
00:09:18 00:09:20 safer
00:09:19 00:09:22 trusting that supplier and i know a lot
00:09:20 00:09:24 of other shopify gurus say that they
00:09:22 00:09:26 need to have a specific trust badge
00:09:24 00:09:28 which tells you that they are trustable
00:09:26 00:09:30 but i don't think that is very necessary
00:09:28 00:09:32 the most important thing for me
00:09:30 00:09:33 is the amount of reviews and the amount
00:09:32 00:09:35 of orders
00:09:33 00:09:36 so let's go ahead and look at this

00:09:37 00:09:41 there is no e-package shipping in this
00:09:39 00:09:43 case so i would just avoid using this

00:11:17 00:11:20 actually make sure that they're real
00:11:19 00:11:21 from real people and the best way to
00:11:20 00:11:24 know that is
00:11:21 00:11:25 if there are real sentences like these
00:11:24 00:11:27 or paragraphs like these
00:11:25 00:11:29 often if a supplier has fake reviews
00:11:27 00:11:29 there's not going to be any sentences at

00:12:00 00:12:03 and you're still kind of doubting the
00:12:01 00:12:05 supplier because there may be one or two
00:12:03 00:12:06 metrics the supplier did not match
00:12:05 00:12:08 you want to place a few test orders
00:12:06 00:12:10 let's say you got two or three or ten
00:12:08 00:12:11 orders for a product out of those 2 or 3
00:12:10 00:12:13 or 10 orders
00:12:11 00:12:15 order a small portion from the supplier
00:12:13 00:12:17 that you're still a little bit hesitant
00:12:15 00:12:18 about so for example if i was hesitant
00:12:17 00:12:20 about this supplier you know
00:12:18 00:12:22 i didn't want to really trust this
00:12:20 00:12:23 supplier because of some issues
00:12:22 00:12:25 then let's say for example i have 10
