I will share my testing strategy and the underlying concept behind it. I will also explain how I decide how to test, which is immensely valuable for any entrepreneur.

Testing Philosophy:

I believe that every entrepreneur operates behind some underlying assumptions, consciously or unconsciously. When it comes to product testing, especially using Facebook, I like to be very flexible in my approach. My testing strategy depends on how much faith I have in a product. I match the amount I pay per head according to the product I am testing. If I have a lot of faith in a product, I am willing to increase the amount of testing variables, marketing angles, creatives, interest, thumbnails, and copy.

Testing Strategy:

I start with around $100-$200 per day in terms of testing budget. However, beginners can start with $20-$50 per day. The budget is just a catalyst. It means that you will need more time and more days to see whether or not your product works.

I like to have one to two different product pitches, different marketing angles, different kinds of copy, different structures, and three to six different video creatives to launch. I feel that video creatives are more important than ad copy.

Live Example:

I recently launched a new product and created three campaigns on Facebook. I used two different product pages, one sales page, and one landing page. I ran two conversion campaigns and one people campaign. I used a set budget optimization and started with $15 per day. I used purchase conversion events, automatic placements, and a simple broad interest.
