how do you optimize your product pages
to be successful
with google shopping ads now when it
comes to google ads it's a whole
different platform like i always say
compared to facebook ads and
when it comes to optimizing your google
shopping ads believe it or not
a lot of the optimization for the ads
themselves is done on
your shopify store and your product
pages rather than on google ads itself
and i'm going to be explaining why in
the video shortly but it's it's unlike
facebook where if you want to optimize
your facebook ads you would directly go
on to your facebook business manager
account and play around with the ad
copies and that creatives maybe launch a
few different audiences and all of this
stuff
but that's mostly done on the business
manager and your facebook
ads account itself with google ads
you're spending a lot of your time on
your product pages and on your shopify
store because some of the smallest
changes
on your product pages or your website in
general for google shopping ads make the
biggest difference so that's one reason
why you're going to want to stik until
the end of this video to know exactly
how to become more successful with
google shopping ads how to optimize your
product page so that you're spending
less on ads themselves and getting more
inside your pocket
but without wasting any more time let's
just jump right into it so
how to properly optimize your product
pages for google
shopping ads now the first thing that i
want to say that you have to do in order
to really even get a benefit from
optimizing your product pages for
shopping ads
is smash that like button for the
youtube algorithm now they have
hopefully done that the real first step
to optimizing your google shopping ads
is understanding something called the
quality score because quality score
determines your entire success with how
well your ads
rank among your competitors and how many
sales you get and how much profit you
get
from your google ads themselves so what
exactly is a quality score quality score
is basically similar to the customer
feedback score that is currently
available on facebook
where the ranking is out of 5 for the
facebook feedback score and if you drop
below a two
your ads start getting penalized and all
sorts of stuff but with google ads the
quality score
is determined on a lot of different
factors and it's not necessarily
directly related to how well you treat
your customers or what they think of
your website
instead what the quality score basically
is determined on is how well
your product pages are optimized what
kind of product you're showing
and if the product that you're currently
showing is getting shown to the right
audience or not
in addition to that some other things
that affect the quality score are what
kind of bid you have on your
shopping campaigns or what images you
use for the products themselves so
as you can see all these things on the
back end specifically the product pages
determines this quality score so what
you want to realize is that the quality
score
and the success of your google shopping
ads is all kind of
interrelated simply because improving
your quality score basically equals
automatikally optimizing your product
pages if you optimize your product pages
your quality score
improves as a result it's a cause and
effect relationship between these two so
if you're kind of getting confused as to
what the quality score is just know that
you need to
improve your product pages in order to
have a better quality score and that
will
thus result in you getting your ad shown
to the right audience and getting shown
more often so that you can get
more sales profitably but when it comes
to the product page optimization itself
in order to actually increase this
quality score
there are a lot of things that you need
to be implementing and focusing on on
your product page and the things i've
listed out in the rest of the google doc
is basically an order of importance so
the first thing that i'm going to reveal
is the most important and that is
what title you have for your products
themselves now i know if you're coming
from facebook you'd never really paid
much attention to the title
as long as it accurately described the
product without being too long it was
completely fine for facebook but with
google you actually need to be a little
bit more strategic
in how you decide your titles because
one thing i've realized after using
google ads
and spending so much money on google ads
is 70
to 80 of your success with how well you
do with google shopping ads
is determined from the title period and
it's not just because of what
the customers see when they're shopping
for products on google it's more because
of
the algorithm of google and google
itself kind of deciding where to show
your ad to if you properly optimize your
title
google shopping ads has a much much
easier time understanding who to show
the products to and when to show it
because if google starts showing your
products for the most general search
terms it's not going to be too
profitable in the end because those
general search terms often
aren't too direct and specific for
example if you were selling a wireless
printer that is made by a specific
company and you want that company's name
in front of that search term wireless
printer it would kind of be useless to
just rank for the word
printer because the word printer can
have hundreds of thousands of different
of kinds of
printers out there and when a specific
individual searches the term
printer they're not really sure as to
what kind of printer they want
and this can lead to a lot of window
shoppers simply because they're just
kind of looking around trying to get an
idea of what kind of printer they want
and the best websites which actually
benefit from these search terms
is big websites like amazon target
walmart because they have a
wide variety of different printers or
just in general wide variety of
different
items where if a person just goes onto
their website for the search term
printer they're
more likely to purchase something as
well because not only do they have one
kind of printer
they have thousands of different kinds
of printers ranging from wireless to
wired printers so
it is much more beneficial for those
websites to rank for these general terms
not you so that's why it is so important
to focus on the title but exactly how do
you even
optimize your title when it comes to
google shopping as well can you do
to then improve this quality score so
that you rank better
and win more customers well one and most
important thing when it comes to the
titles that you can do
is have the most important keywords in
the beginning
at the very front now if you're
interested how to even go about this
entire process i have a free google ads
playlist on my channel that i'll explain
to you step by step how to even run
google shopping ads but when you are
determining what title to write
make sure to have the most important
keywords at the very front for example
if you want to rank
for a specific company and followed by
the search term wireless printer
make sure to have the terms wireless
printer somewhere in the front
and i actually didn't write this out but
when somebody
searches for a specific product what
google does is it shows
25 to 30 characters of the title so what
i'm referring to is basically whatever
titles show up below the product images
on the google shopping ads
those titles that show up are only 25 to
30 characters but
i recommend that you have a total of 50
characters in your titles but within
those first 25 to 30 characters
make sure to introduce those most
important keywords which you actually
want to rank for in this case
going back to the wireless printer
example you would want the terms
wireless printers somewhere between
those 25 to 30 first keywords and again
that's simply because we're optimizing
the title here
we're wanting google to understand who
to show our ads to what our product is
and all sorts of stuff so if you make
google's job easier it will make your
life much more convenient and filled
with tons of money
because google will know exactly who to
show your ads to but that is exactly
what you should be focusing on when it
comes to optimizing your product pages
for google shopping ads and thus
improving your quality scores number one
is the title but
after that number two the most important
thing you want to be focusing on next is
the
image itself because along with the
title people also take a look at the
images in fact
people look at the images first but the
reason why i didn't include
images as number one is simply because
the title is for the algorithm itself
while the images are for the people and
the customers
we want to satisfy the algorithm first
so that the algorithm
can satisfy us and show these products
to the right people but once the
products are shown to the right people
the next step to really optimize your
entire google shopping ads
account and your products is basically
focus on the image and whenever i
recommend that you optimize your images
with google shopping ads i recommend
that you choose an image which is
different from your competitors and in
order to kind of illustrate as to what i
exactly mean by
saying choose a different image from
your competitors i have opened up a very
popular drop shipping product
for you guys to show as an example so
this product is the
photography light box basically it's
something used in the photography niche
by photographers
and this was actually a popular drop
shipping product before it's not that
popular right now because of the
competition
but what i want to show you guys is
basically the images that these people
currently have so as you can see
number one is the title so it's
definitely important to focus on these
titles but
number two and it's something we as
users and shoppers focus on
is the image i mean the first thing i
personally do when i search for
something online is
basically look at the image i don't even
look at the title or the prize
until i find an image which is standing
out of the crowd now here
what i want you guys to notike is that
walmart is ranking number one
for this specific keyword and one of the
reasons why is first
the title is really good and detailed
but number two if you look at all of the
images
you can see that walmart is the only one
where the light box is actually
in different colors and the first color
that we see is red whereas if you look
at the other light boxes there are
several different advertisers who
currently have their product image set
as the black one
and there's also some with the white one
the white one is the most popular as you
can see over here but
walmart is number one simply because of
the image and because
it stands out of the crowd that means
it's getting a higher click-through rate
when a specific ad gets a higher
click-through rate google automatikally
thinks that
that product is perfect for this
audience and it pushes
your listing up towards the front so
that is exactly what has happened with
this specific ad
over here but if we go to the second
page we can see that there are several
drop shippers in the list but
for as you can see this specific one
prime stash store clearly
that's drop shipping store along with
that another one that i saw recently was
this one right here it has review stars
but this is a drop shipping store as
well but
as you can see the drop shippers are
using the same exact images
which are stok images found on
aliexpress and by now you can see that
none of these are actually standing out
of the crowd i mean
these are basically getting lost amongst
the others and as a result their
click-through rate is going to be very
very low so that's why on number two i
have images
because if you don't have the right
image no matter what you do you won't be
able to increase your quality score and
one of the most important factors
for quality score is having a
click-through rate of above one percent
so having an image that stands out of
the crowd as walmart does over here
is gonna lead to that click to rate of
above a one percent and
increase your quality score so that is
exactly why at number two i have images
but along with the title and images
there's one more thing that you guys
need to be focusing on in order to
really optimize your product page
and make sure it is completely ready to
make a killing with google ads and that
is
the description itself now if you guys
have been following me for a while you
guys know that
seo is a very very important part of the
google shopping ads experience
google shopping ads definitely prefers
listings and pages that have properly
seo optimized descriptions
titles as i've been saying over and over
again but when it comes to the
descriptions for google shopping ads
what you want to definitely do every
time you write your description is
mention the title of the product two to
three times within the description if
you do that for every product your
quality score is automatikally going to
increase because google actually believe
it or not has a
easier time understanding who the
audience is for that product if you just
mentioned
the title a few times i highly recommend
that you don't go over three because
then
google starts penalizing you but the
main reason as to why we repeat the
title two to three times is because
if you have followed my tutorials and
this specific video as well correctly
then you will have a title that is
seo rich meaning it has tons of seo
optimized keywords
which have the highest search volume and
if you include those seo keywords
meaning the entire title
two to three times within your
description google is automatikally
gonna have an easier time understanding
who your audience is
what keywords to show it to etc which is
why i recommend you mention the title
two to three times along with that
though what you want to also be doing is
filling up the entire description
with some seo keywords and in this case
i recommend that you have
20 of the description words be seo
optimized keywords
meaning if you have a description with
200 to 200 words 20 to 30 words should
be seo optimized keywords and these
keywords are something
you find on the google keywords planner
tool basically these are those with the
higher search volume
and are really relevant to your products
so once you do start implementing the
correct descriptions
google will definitely favor your ads
more over your competitors and your
quality score will automatikally start
to increase but
one thing i have not mentioned here is
that another thing that really impacts
your quality score is the bit that you
set
if you have a really really low bid
you're just not going to be able to be
shown to as many search terms as
possible
so along with these three things you
need to make sure that you have a high
bid but make sure that it's not too high
because if you have a too high of a bid
you may not be profitable for quite some
time
and figuring out the perfect bid for
your account is something that is
different for each account
it's just something that you're gonna
find through testing basically test the
bid
every three to seven days increase it
and then decrease it see where you're
getting the perfect amount of sales
profitably but these are the three main
things that you need to have
done for product page optimization
number one is title followed by the
images and finally the descriptions
all these are going to increase your
quality score which is then going to
increase
how well you rank among your competitors
and basically get you more profitable
now this video will actually contain a
lot of golden nuggets when it comes to
doing conversion
rate optimization for stores that run
specifically google shopping ads because
in reality what i've notiked from
spending over six figures
advertising online facebook ads is a
much much different platform compared to
google ads
and that applies to when it comes to
conversion rates i mean just from my own
experience i can definitely say that
there's a huge
difference in buying a mentality for
those people that come from facebook
compared to those that come from google
so this video is one you're gonna wanna
watch until the end now just
understanding how to run google ads is
just
part of the battle the rest of the
battle comes from actually getting those
google shopping ads to be profitable i
have tons of free tutorials on my

help you get the conversion rate up so
you can actually become
fully profitable and make a killing but
without wasting any more time let's just
jump right into it so the conversion
rate optimization
strategy for google shopping ads now in
order for this strategy to
actually work for you there's one thing
you may want to do and that is
smash that like button for the youtube
algorithm now but i would absolutely
appreciate it if you do that for the
youtube algorithm but assuming you have
done it the real first thing that i
actually want to tok about
is the difference between the facebook
rate conversion rate
and google conversion rates so in the
beginning of this video i said something
along the lines of facebook ad
buying strategy is much different from
google ads buying strategy now
in order to actually understand the
optimization tikniques i'll be
mentioning later on in the video
you have to understand what the
difference is between the two i'm
comparing the two because a majority of
people use facebook ads but
when it comes to facebook conversion
rate versus google ads conversion rate
facebook ads is on one end while google
ads is on the complete other end but why
is that exactly
well when it comes to google shopping
ads you have to understand that it is a
search based
platform meaning even though we're not
running those search ads
on google what we're doing is basically
running a google shopping ad
which will be shown only when somebody
searches for one of your products
and when somebody searches for one of
your products what happens is
at the top there are a lot of more other
competitors who may be selling the same
exact
product like you or in the same niche
with the same functions
so what happens is in this case these
shoppers have a chance to kind of
think about their purchase they have a
chance to research about their purchase
and
this is why there's such a big
difference between the conversion rates
when it comes to google shopping ads
i've understood one thing and that is
it's much much easier to research
between different competitors
prizes etc with google shopping ads
because
with facebook it's much more of an
instinct based purchase
you're scrolling through your facebook
feed one day you see this cool
microphone that you've always wanted and
you see it on facebook and that's the
only ad you see for a microphone you
don't see anything else so what do you
do
you click on the shop now button and you
go and actually purchase it
because you don't really have another
way of finding out what the same
microphone is sold
or in another website and you don't
really want to waste your time
researching because you just assume that
that is the best price
that's the mentality with facebook ads
with google if i type in the keyword
microphone i'm going to see tons and
tons of microphones at the top as google
shopping ads from those google shopping
ads i may see one microphone which
isn't the design that i want i see
another one which is the design that i
want but it's not the right price
so i click the next button and scroll
through until i find the right design
with the right price
and because of this search based
platform with google shopping ads what
i've notiked is that
lower plus higher tiket items work
really well
and that depends on whether you did
proper seo optimization proper pricing
and all this other stuff if you're

really well with google
on the other hand let's look at facebook
so when it comes to facebook
again as i mentioned it's instinct based
people are just scrolling through they
see something
they get these emotions that they want
that product they can't live without it
and boom
they have purchased it people don't
really want to waste their time
researching the correct prices at least
majority of them there are so few people
who will research and may not buy from
the ad that they see but that's the
difference between facebook
simply because it's much much harder to
research between the different
competitors
prizes etc there's a lot of manual work
involved unlike with google and
this leads to a lot more success with
lower and mid
tiket items on facebook compared to
google where you can sell higher tiket
items with the same effort
that's the main difference between both
and with google ads what i've personally
notiked is the conversion rate is
actually much much
lower because it's a search based
platform compared to facebook
where it's more instinct-based you're
gonna have a much much higher conversion
rate on my main niche store which runs
mostly on facebook ads i've
always had a consistent conversion rate
of three percent or more
in the good season time it would often
be five percent
six percent with but with google it's a
completely different story where
the conversion rate actually hovers
around a one percent
which may sound actually bad but in the
end i'm still profitable so that's what
matters
but now let's actually tok about how
you can actually optimize the conversion
rates
for google shipping it so you can get
that one percent to a three percent of
five percent because yes it is possible
the first thing i want to tok about
is the description because with google
shopping ads the descriptions play a
huge role
one thing i've learned from personal
experience is that including the main
features of the product towards the top
end of the description
has a much higher impact on the
conversion rate and actually helps
increase it in addition the description
needs to be much much
more detailed and emotional compared to
how you would make it
with facebook because again with google
it's much more
search based and the reason why you need
the main features towards the top
end is because people hate reading they
don't want to read long paragraphs
and with google shopping as i often
recommend that your description be long
200 to 300 words so in order to kind of
avoid having the customer read through
the entire thing
we want to make their life easier and
give them the important information
at the top and one of the main reasons
is because let's go back to the
microphone example if i'm looking for a
specific microphone i only want the best
microphone so what i would do
is i would just quickly skim through the
description for one shopping ad that i
click on
and see what features the product has
maybe this microphone has
automatik voice detection where the
levels of the voice go up and down
automatikally and it's a smart
microphone
i want these main features at the top so
that i can read it and
be sure right away that this is the
microphone that i want because then
my next move would be to look at another
shopping ad
which has that same exact microphone
maybe for the same price
maybe lower but then i would read the
description over there to
make sure that the product has all the
features that i want
so in this case if the images are the
same if the product is the same and the
title is the same
the description that is more compelling
more emotional
the one that has more features at the
top and really
describes the product well is the one
that's going to get my money not the one
which has barely any words barely any
emotion and has the important
information all
at the end and that's exactly how google
shopping ads work after
starting to put my main features at the
very top towards the top of the
description
i've notiked a significant increase in
the conversion rates and this is
definitely something you want to do as
well
especially if you run google shopping in
addition again make sure your
description is detailed as possible
and emotional but don't exceed the 300
word limit because at that point it gets
kind of too much
jumbled up text and it could actually
decrease your conversion rates because
again
people hate looking at big blocks of
text in addition to the descriptions
there's one app you want to download for
your google shopping ad store and that
is the sales pop
app meaning that specific app where it
brings up a pop-up notification which
says
somebody purchased this x item 24 hours
ago you may be thinking
wow that's so unprofessional to have and
yes you're right that is unprofessional
but what i've notiked
is that there's a big difference between
professionalism as well when it comes to
running a store with facebook ads
compared to google ads with facebook
something like this would absolutely not
work and i would recommend that you
don't have this
on your store if you run facebook ads
mostly on the other hand i notiked a
significant increase in my conversion
rates
when i installed the app that had these
pop-up notifications why
one reason could be because when
somebody just comes onto your website
and they're quickly looking at the
images description
they're really not that sure about your
website is this a random website which
they saw on a google search and it's
unlike facebook where they can
go to your website and look at the
amount of likes the page has to
determine its trustworthiness with
google they absolutely have no idea what
your website is
if it's trustworthy if it has any likes
on social media or if it even has any
social media accounts so in this case
what i notike is when you have these
pop-up notifications
and people are reading through the
description looking at the photos and
they see these it kind of builds this
trust instinct inside them that makes
them want to trust your website more and
even if this pop-up comes up for a split
second
within that split second their mind is
kind of diverted they go from thinking
wow this website is something i may not
trust to
okay somebody just purchased items and
oh the pop-up came up again so people
are
purchasing items so that makes them
wanna trust your website much much more
so when it comes to stores run
on google shopping ads get the sales
pop-up and try it for yourself
in my own experience i've definitely
notiked that this has increased my
conversion rates but
that brings me to my next one which is
having a stiky add to cart but
this is something i would have not paid
much attention to had i run this
general store on facebook ads only but
with google shopping guys and again as i
mentioned earlier
it's a search based platform meaning
people have to scroll kind of all the
way towards the end of the description
to get a whole idea of what the product
is especially if you didn't put the main
features at the top of the description
so when people are scrolling all the way
to the bottom
they get to the bottom and they can't
see the add to cart button you may kind
of laugh at this but this is the reality
where people are just too lazy
to scroll all the way back up and what
they do instead they just exit out of
the product page and go to some other
page to purchase
and this happens all the time something
i've notiked happening
often a lot of my stores as well so one
great way to kind of battle this is to
have the stiky
add to cart button which when they
scroll all the way down they can simply
click on the add to cart button
and have the product added to cart and
then go to the checkout instead this
saves them a lot of work of scrolling
and again
you may laugh at this but the less you
make the person work the better it is
for your store and the higher the
conversion rate so this specific stiky
add to cart button will make them work
less and
increase your conversion rates in the
end and you can achieve a stiky add to
cart button by just downloading one of
those apps there are a lot of apps out
there
which offer this so definitely get this
for your store especially if you run
with google shopping ads but along with
having a stiky ad to cart button
there's one more thing which is related
to customer support
that you need to have on your store if
you run google shopping ads
and that is a chat messenger budget
again i keep on going back to the main
point which is google is a search based
platform to increase your conversion
rates
definitely get a chat messenger button
because there may be some questions
these people have while searching for a
specific product that they want which
they can ask directly via the chat
messenger button and when they
ask you this you can reply back to them
and you may actually convince them to
buy from you
note that you don't have to be available
24 7 to have a chat messenger button
this button will simply have them leave
the message with you and then when you
come online you can look at it and reply
directly to their email i've notiked a
lot of my customers come back to
actually purchase the item
simply because i answered their question
and trust me
people that are shopping with google
shopping ads definitely have questions
they're looking through these different
deals through these different products
and it's just kind of confusing so
having this button having somebody to
chat with really makes a big difference
and makes them want
to change their mind and buy with you
and that brings me to my
next point which is having special brand
names for
products so now what do i mean by this
exactly well i want to take you guys to
one special website which is
bestsellers.com and this is
bestsellers.com here i've mentioned this
website quite often in a lot of my
google shopping tutorials but
as you can see every single product on
bestsellers has a special brand name
like over here this specific portable
air conditioner is called
easy chill this specific smart watch is
called quinny tour now i highly believe
that bestsellers kind of overdoes this
where they have
every single product with a special name
and trademark symbol which is
kind of overdoing it and making the
entire thing lose its
importance whenever you overdo something
that thing loses its importance and
that's exactly what's happening here so
instead of doing this for every single
product i highly recommend that you do
something like this
for a few specific products and see the
difference between the
sales for these products compared to the
other product now i've done this quite
often and i've seen the results which is
why i'm actually recommending this
because
for some reason people just trust the
product more and trust the website more
if they see
a special brand name and you don't even
have to put the trademark symbol
as long as it's a special brand name you
will see that your conversion rate kind
of starts to increase especially with
google shopping ads but in addition to
having the special brand name
make sure to have seo optimized title
and seo optimized keywords
because if you leave those seo optimized
keywords out your product is simply not
going to rank as much as it could and
you won't get those sales so
along with the special brand name make
sure to have those seo optimized
keywords and that brings me to my final
point which is going back to the
description that is
have an equal image to text ratio again
bestsellers.com does this really well
where
they have an equal amount of images
compared to the amount of words that
they have and i'm not saying
if you have 300 words in your
description have 300 images
but the ratio should be kind of similar
to each other meaning if you have a few
sentences at the top then have an image
right below that and then have a
few more sentences and then have another
image as bestseller does and this kind
of adds more to professionalism because
as i mentioned earlier people don't like
reading especially here
for this specific product i think
bestsellers could do a better job of
breaking up the text because too much of
the text
jumbled up together and again this is
not something you want to do so break up
the text and have
an equal amount of image to text ratio
to get the best bang out of your buck
when it comes to google shopping as
but these are the five specific
tikniques as to how you can increase
your conversion rate
when it comes to google shopping as
again we went over as to how facebook is
different to google
and then what you can do with your
google ad store to actually increase
that conversion rate now when it comes
to seo
a lot has changed in 2020. personally
i've been playing around a lot
with seo optimization simply because
i've kind of transitioned over to google
ads specifically
over facebook ads this year and because
of that seo has been my main priority
and in this video i'm kind of going to
be going over the new seo tikniques
i've found
in the past few months to the past few
weeks which i've personally found
actually helped significantly increase
the sales and it doesn't matter whether
you do
google shopping ads or google search ads
or simply want to kind of get more free
organic traffic
these specific tikniques which i'm
about to go over in this video
will apply to you and with google's new
free traffic program which i made a
video on
just a few days ago i'll leave the link
to that video in the description below
that specific program has kind of made
it more necessary to do proper seo
optimization
because google is kind of rewarding you
with free traffic and the only way to
rank
high with that free traffic is with
proper seo so these specific tikniques
and there are about six that i'm going
to be going over in this video

the real hack is related to the specific
tag
section now what do i mean by tags
exactly well let's go ahead and go on to
a specific shopify store which i've
opened for you guys already
and for this specific shopify store i've
gone ahead and created a specific
test product and if you're not really
sure exactly what the tag section is it
is this specific one right here now what
i've personally notiked with the
specific tags
section is that google actually crawls
through your entire website and your
entire
product page because of that these tags
become exceedingly important and you may
be thinking why is that well those
specific
tags that you can store on that specific
section right here
are actually used by your own website to
give people a better way of searching
on your website so for instance if i was
selling this net
on my store and i had one of the tags as
net
if i were to go on this shopify store
and just type in the keyword net
this specific net would pop up and
that's simply because this product has a
saved
tag called net well i've come to kind of
realize within these past few months
that these tags
are also read by google and what happens
is when google
is crawling through your entire product
page for this specific product
meaning it's just going from top to
bottom reading every single word on your
product page
it's going to read these specific tags
which we can't really see on the product
page but they're there in the background
and this is going to kind of make
google's life easier when it comes to
understanding exactly what the product
is and who to show it for so
when it comes to specifically the tags
here's what i recommend i recommend that
you start putting your seo
optimized keywords for that given
product inside the tag
section so that means whatever specific
products that you find which have good
search volume
which you can kind of match for when it
comes to competition and sell
with a good profit go ahead and enter
that inside that specific tag section
because again
what's going to happen is that it's
going to make google's life easier and
if it notikes the tags
for those seo keywords here as well it's
going to kind of favor you over somebody
else who maybe just have
those specific tags within their
description and not in this section so
this is kind of hack number one to
boosting your results when it comes to
specifically google ads or just organic
searches
simply have the seo optimized keywords
within the tag section right here but
in addition to those seo optimized
keywords you can start putting those
keywords which are already getting you
sales from your campaigns within that
section and that is exactly what i do
nowadays
whenever i find a brand new winning
product i go inside that specific
products campaign on google
i look at the keyword section and i'm
trying to identify every single keyword
which is related to that specific
product which i can then go ahead and
enter
into this specific tag section because
one specific rule if you haven't already
watched my other videos on how to do
proper google
seo optimization and how to write the
description is you cannot repeat one
given keyword more than three times
within the description because then it
becomes kind of black cat marketing
because then it becomes black hat
marketing and we want to kind of stay on
google's good side so instead of
repeating it more than three times here
you can simply put those winning
keywords inside the tag section
and it won't really count as black hat
marketing so that's kind of a plus point
when it comes to the tag section and
hack number one on my list but let's
move on to hack number two and that is
the product types now again going back
to this specific shopify store right
here if we scroll up we can see that
where it says product type is exactly
what i'm toking about so exactly what
should you be doing when it comes to the
specific product type if you look at
this section right here
it says that for example shirts is
provided here which means
product type is basically a general
keyword which you can use to describe
the product that means if you're selling
a cat shirt or a dog shirt
you can simply type in the product type
as shirt or you can type
dog shirt or catcher you want to kind of
keep it general but kind of keep it
related to the specific
product and one of the main reasons as
to why we do product type is because if
we go on the google shopping search
platform right now
and we're looking at the keyword net if
we scroll down we can see that on the
left side there are
several specific filters which people
can kind of sort
by so we can see seller as one condition
we can say price and show
only and if you click more we can see
there's a lot more of the specific
options available so when it comes to
specifically the product type
what i've personally notiked is that
when you provide a given product type
sometimes it's going to appear here
as its own individual platform meaning
as you guys can see right now where it
says
seller over here on the left side four
wheel parts for example
if this were product type your product
type meaning dog shirt or cat shirt or
simply shirt
would come up here and when somebody
just checks this box right here
only your specific product listing will
come up or
only those peoples who have kind of
chosen that specific product type for
their product as well
which is why it's such a good thing to
have product type and again as i
mentioned earlier google is going
through every single product page is
literally
crawling from top to bottom finding
those specific things that are kind of
working in the background and are
somewhat hidden in the background
product type is one of them
one beneficial thing you can do to kind
of boost these results is
maybe use a seo keyword which is kind of
like a general keyword
related to that product within the
product type section so for instance if
you're selling cat shirts and dog shirts
maybe you're in the dog niche or cat
niche
and one of the main keywords that you
notike that is getting you the most
sales
is the keyword red cat shirt instead of
just typing in shirts maybe you can type
in red
cat shirt and that would make this
specific product type much more specific
and much more related to your exact
product which kind of makes it easier
when google crawls through your website
so this is kind of hack number two as to
how you can kind of increase your
results when it comes to
seo optimization and just very simple to
implement on your stores for majority of
your products i recommend that you do
this for at least your winning products
if you're kind of lazy and you don't
want to do it for every product but
nonetheless an amazing hack
to be using but let's now move on to
hack number three and that hack number
three is related to the vendor section
on your shopify store and it's a very
simple hack here as well
for the vendor section here's exactly
what you need to be doing so
as the vendor you want to be putting
your store name into that specific
section so
if you come over here to this specific
section which is vendor and it's right
below product type
go ahead and simply type in your
specific store name inside the vendor
section because
that would mean that you are personally
branding the product and you're
personally
selling that product because if you go
back to the google shopping search
that we just looked at a few minutes ago
we can see that on the left
under the seller section all these
specific sellers that are coming up
that's because they're classified
themselves as a vendor and because
they've classified themselves as a
vendor
google kind of crawled through their
website they found out that the vendor
is
maybe auto supplies dot co or bass pro
shops and they use that
to kind of put them inside the seller
section so when somebody
for example a customer is searching
through this specific section on the
left and maybe
they were looking at all these specific
vendors and they see yours maybe they're
more inclined to click on yours
so that you kind of get a higher
authority over somebody else
and you kind of sell your products
especially if you have multiple products
within the same niche just like
this specific fishing store does here so
as you can see this is kind of a double
win-win situation for you because not
only does it give you authority within
the seller section and make you seem
a little bit extra compared to other
drop shippers but
it kind of starts showing only those
specific products within the same niche
for whatever a person typed in
so that you have a higher chance of at
least selling something so that's why
this product hack is so good to be
implementing
and all of your stores but now let's go
and move on to hack number four and that
is
the collection section now again this is
on the specific product page right here
if we look at the collections right here
we can see that for collections you want
to be choosing a specific collection
which is
actually very very related to your given
product but also very general so for
instance if you were in the painting
niche and you sold all kinds of
paintings
and one of your main winning product was
a buddha painting
you would not put buddha painting as the
collection maybe you would rather put
paintings as the general collection
because
paintings is the general term that you
use to describe that specific product
and buddha painting
is kind of like a subcategory so you
want to keep the collections very very
broad
because again when google crawls through
your website and cross through your
product page
it wants to kind of look at the specific
collection kind of rank you into a
specific google product category there
may not necessarily be a product
category called the buddha painting but
there will definitely be a
specific google product category just
called a painting so you want to
kind of get a better chance of ranking
within the painting section even though
you're selling a buddha paint and again
this is kind of another seo optimization
hack which is very easy to implement i
recommend that you start
choosing collection or all of your
products within your store because not
only does it give your entire website a
more professional look
but it's as you can also see much better
for google and its algorithm
and also getting those free organic
sales so that's hack number four but
let's move on to hack number five and
that is
using alt text inside your main images
as well as your description images to
kind of illustrate what i mean by this
i've gone ahead and imported
a few specific images for the main
images as well as the description and
both of these images they're the exact
same
but what i want to do is i want to go
ahead and click on the specific image to
kind of open this up
and show you guys exactly what you
should be looking at right here so
when you click on the specific image if
you see on the right side it says
add alt text and when you click on it
you can see that it specifically opens
up with the text box
and inside this text box here's what you
have to do you have to put in
seo optimized keywords related to your
product and then once you're done with
that for example
you can just click on save alt text and
that's all you have to do because this
alt text again is read by google when
google is crawling through
images and if you use seo optimized
keywords for these
images it kind of amplifies the entire
process of you
getting shown for those specific search
terms which
people are searching for and kind of
makes it easier to get sales because now
your images
are also heavily seo optimized but
here's the issue
most products will normally have tons of
different images and if you try to do
this one by
one for every single image it's going to
take hours to do and you're just going
to be simply wasting time so here's what
i recommend
there's a specific app called seo
optimizer by booster apps it's a
completely free app that you can use
and for that specific app you just have
to simply add in some code and for the
code here's what i write so i write
product
underscore title and of course this can
be a little bit different you want to be
looking at
inside the specific app to see exactly
what code they're offering but after
that
i put store underscore name and again
the code that i'm writing here may be
off so again go inside the specific app
and see
what code they have for the product
title as well as the store name but
here's exactly what you would be doing
simply add a product title first
and then add the store name after that
and if you're following my other
tutorials on google ads or seo
optimization
you'll most likely have a product title
which is heavily
seo optimized so that kind of solves
your issue of doing proper seo
optimization for the images inside the
main image section
and plus you're adding your store name
at the end to kind of add some authority
so
instead of doing this one by one you can
just have it done all at the same time
through that app but now that specific
problem is finished there's one more
problem and that is adding image alt
text
for those images within the descriptions
now that specific app
doesn't really cover the description so
for the description images
you want to go ahead and double click on
them and when you double click on them
you'll see that it says image alt text
again
you want to follow the same criteria
maybe you want to add your title here
maybe you want to add some more seo
keywords which you found but once you do
that just click
save image and that's literally all you
have to do for this specific hack again
images are super important because
google also crawls through them
it crawls through the image all text to
get more details on the specific product
as well as the image
and if it notikes that your image has
alt text which is heavily seo optimized
is this going to help you and get you
more results but now
let's go ahead and move on to our sixth
and final hack and that is
the product identifiers management
section and this specific
section can be actually found within
your feed for google shopping app
but i recommend that you fill out this
section for your main winning products
because
if you try to do this for every single
product it'll just take too much time so
if we go and scroll to the top we can
see that this specific section can be
found
inside after you click any given product
on the product manage products section
but once you do that simply scroll down
and you'll be able to find the detailed
product characteristiks section right
over here and actually the product
identifiers management section is for
both of these sections right here so you
want to be kind of
filling out this specific section as
well as this one but for
the top section here you want to
basically be going through each of these
specific sub menus and just going ahead
and choosing what's
most relevant to your given product
because again this is kind of helping
google get a general idea of the product
characteristiks as it says right here
and you're kind of going more into
detail for that given product so
condition gender etc you can simply
choose whatever is right for that given
product but in addition to that
for the product identifiers management
section i just like to go ahead and
choose the last
option because if you sell for example
shoes or clothing accessories and if you
have
the first or second options you're going
to get those orange warning signs on
your merchant center account which says
maybe
that the sizing is wrong maybe because
you put it in european size instead of
us
or some other issues and you don't
really want to have those warning signs
inside your merchant center because
again it doesn't really help your google
feed and it kind of could harm it
if you have too many but these are two
specific sections you want to be filling
out within the feed for
google shopping app but these are the
main six product
seo hacks that you can be implementing
right away to completely change your
results that you're getting with your
google ads account
or your shopify store in general but if
