00:02:09 00:02:12 challenge in today's video I really want

00:02:36 00:02:40 ad now why did this Facebook ad work so
00:02:38 00:02:42 well well guys it goes a little bit
00:02:40 00:02:43 deeper and I really want to speak to
00:02:42 00:02:45 those of you that are in Shopify
00:02:43 00:02:47 dropshipping right now or you're just
00:02:45 00:02:48 starting you're dropping visitor
00:02:47 00:02:49 consider who's starting to drop shipping
00:02:48 00:02:50 business and if you don't know what drop
00:02:49 00:02:52 shipping is guys and you see your first
00:02:50 00:02:54 time here on the channel firstly welcome
00:02:52 00:02:57 but essentially drop shipping is not
00:02:54 00:02:59 just tied to China China or drop
00:02:57 00:03:01 shipping is just your supplier sending
00:02:59 00:03:02 your products to your customers on your
00:03:01 00:03:04 behalf kind of like you know like a
00:03:02 00:03:06 triangle right not a pyramid right it's
00:03:04 00:03:08 not a pyramid it's a triangle right you
00:03:06 00:03:09 essentially order the middleman taking
00:03:08 00:03:11 your kind of profits and then your
00:03:09 00:03:14 supplier sends out to your customers
00:03:11 00:03:15 okay now the reason that I knew that
00:03:14 00:03:17 this product was gonna work is because I
00:03:15 00:03:20 actually took a little bit more effort
00:03:17 00:03:21 to make it work right I see a lot of
00:03:20 00:03:23 people in the shop by dropping space
00:03:21 00:03:24 they don't want to put a little bit more
00:03:23 00:03:26 effort in than their competition now
00:03:24 00:03:28 what do I mean by that well the biggest
00:03:26 00:03:29 thing I can tell you right now and the
00:03:28 00:03:31 reason probably you as a Shopify drop
00:03:29 00:03:34 shipper are probably struggling right
00:03:31 00:03:37 now is because you're not ordering the
00:03:34 00:03:39 product for yourself right I I see this
00:03:37 00:03:41 so often with our students inside of the
00:03:39 00:03:42 e-commerce Empire Academy it's out of

00:03:58 00:04:02 verify that the quality is good and most
00:03:59 00:04:05 importantly take your imagery yourself
00:04:02 00:04:07 you don't need a fancy fancy counter by
00:04:05 00:04:10 any means I literally just use my iPhone
00:04:07 00:04:13 to take this image ad for myself right I
00:04:10 00:04:15 went I found a nice piece of wood and I
00:04:13 00:04:16 put these fishing lures right on top of
00:04:15 00:04:18 it make that look pretty right and
00:04:16 00:04:21 appealing I gave it that high perceived
00:04:18 00:04:22 value can you imagine now seeing the
00:04:21 00:04:25 results if I use the same exact ad
00:04:22 00:04:26 versus a white background plane no
00:04:25 00:04:28 emotional no no
00:04:26 00:04:30 no emotional connection that the person
00:04:28 00:04:32 when they see this ad right on a plain
00:04:30 00:04:33 white background right it evokes it
00:04:32 00:04:36 evokes a different emotional response or
00:04:33 00:04:38 customers when you actually put a little
00:04:36 00:04:40 bit more effort in to your product
00:04:38 00:04:42 imagery right it gives you so much more
00:04:40 00:04:44 perceived value it gives you a ton more
00:04:42 00:04:45 credibility so the first thing if you
00:04:44 00:04:48 want to make Facebook ads work for you
00:04:45 00:04:50 is you have to start taking high quality
00:04:48 00:04:51 images of your product it doesn't have
00:04:50 00:04:54 to be professional just make it local
00:04:51 00:04:56 real make it look appealing right and if
00:04:54 00:04:58 you want to go one step further right
00:04:56 00:04:59 and even get even better results I
00:04:58 00:05:01 recommend using video as well because of
00:04:59 00:05:03 this challenge we're doing it quickly I
00:05:01 00:05:04 didn't have the time to shoot a video
00:05:03 00:05:06 but some of the best videos that you can
00:05:04 00:05:08 use are simple unboxing videos right
00:05:06 00:05:10 just show the product how it would
00:05:08 00:05:12 appear in your customers doorstep so
00:05:10 00:05:13 they can really imagine themselves using
00:05:12 00:05:15 it right those kind of things work
00:05:13 00:05:16 extremely well because it puts your
00:05:15 00:05:19 customer in the frame of mind like oh
00:05:16 00:05:20 this is how it looks this is how it
00:05:19 00:05:22 feels right show you the product in use
00:05:20 00:05:26 right it gives that customer and a lot
00:05:22 00:05:27 cleaner image of what that product is so
00:05:26 00:05:29 the second thing I want to share with
00:05:27 00:05:30 you guys on why I was able to hit
00:05:29 00:05:34 seventeen hundred dollars in sales
00:05:30 00:05:36 within three days is because I leveraged
00:05:34 00:05:38 upsells right this is also another thing
00:05:36 00:05:39 that Shopify drop shippers are missing
00:05:38 00:05:41 out on you're probably missing out on
00:05:39 00:05:42 this if you're if you're a shop fighter
00:05:41 00:05:43 option right now if you're struggling to
00:05:42 00:05:45 pay your stuff from your business
00:05:43 00:05:47 usually nine times out of ten it's
00:05:45 00:05:48 because you're not selling additional
00:05:47 00:05:50 products or services to your customer
00:05:48 00:05:52 you're not upselling them different
00:05:50 00:05:53 products you're not upselling them into
00:05:52 00:05:56 a subscription box into a continuity
00:05:53 00:05:58 program any sorts of that stuff right
00:05:56 00:06:00 you absolutely need to there's no doubt
00:05:58 00:06:02 in my mind if I was just selling one of
00:06:00 00:06:03 these fishing lures right just one of
00:06:02 00:06:05 these fishing lures on the front end it
00:06:03 00:06:08 would have taken me forever to get to
00:06:05 00:06:10 $1,700 in sales right the thing is when
00:06:08 00:06:13 I add the upsells the quantity breaks
00:06:10 00:06:16 the order pumps into the funnel right
00:06:13 00:06:18 into my my sales process right that is
00:06:16 00:06:20 what allowed me to only have 66
00:06:18 00:06:23 customers I think it was exactly but
00:06:20 00:06:25 make $1,700 off of them because of those
00:06:23 00:06:27 upsells sequences right so if you want
00:06:25 00:06:29 to see some common things that you can
00:06:27 00:06:31 upsell your customers is number one
00:06:29 00:06:33 I'm selling more than what they just
00:06:31 00:06:35 bought people love a good deal right so
00:06:33 00:06:36 upsell them more of what they just
00:06:35 00:06:38 bought you can also upsell them
00:06:36 00:06:39 information products alright a lot of
00:06:38 00:06:40 you think that hey I do drop to me I
00:06:39 00:06:42 can't
00:06:40 00:06:43 I can't sell information products that
00:06:42 00:06:45 is so false that couldn't be further
00:06:43 00:06:47 from the truth if you like free money
00:06:45 00:06:50 upsell them some information products
00:06:47 00:06:52 maybe put a video guide together of some
00:06:50 00:06:54 fishing tutorials or whatever your niche
00:06:52 00:06:56 is right information products are a
00:06:54 00:06:57 great way to make that margin even
00:06:56 00:06:59 better for you and thirdly and most
00:06:57 00:07:01 importantly and I stress this I would
00:06:59 00:07:04 never start a business without this is
00:07:01 00:07:06 continuity add in some sort of monthly
00:07:04 00:07:08 reoccurring revenue into your business
00:07:06 00:07:10 right for example if you're assigned
00:07:08 00:07:12 fishing lures or you know doing knitting
00:07:10 00:07:14 or whatever right seldom and you supply
00:07:12 00:07:16 of that stuff every single month in
00:07:14 00:07:18 exchange for their money and you can add
00:07:16 00:07:20 this right in from the moment they buy

00:08:09 00:08:13 everybody it's for nobody what you have
00:08:11 00:08:14 to do is micro target when you're
00:08:13 00:08:16 starting out now what do I mean by micro
00:08:14 00:08:18 targeting well when you just start out
00:08:16 00:08:19 on Facebook Ads you don't have any pixel
00:08:18 00:08:22 data that means Facebook it's a
00:08:19 00:08:23 data-driven platform they don't know who
00:08:22 00:08:25 your perfect customer is they don't know
00:08:23 00:08:27 who your perfect buyer is right so for
00:08:25 00:08:29 them to try and pinpoint and make it
00:08:27 00:08:31 work for you on a chameleon person
00:08:29 00:08:33 audience size is slim to none and that's
00:08:31 00:08:35 why a lot of people fail with their
00:08:33 00:08:37 Facebook Ads when they get started so
00:08:35 00:08:39 the way to combat that when you're just
00:08:37 00:08:42 starting out is to get a influx of
00:08:39 00:08:44 buyers right on very small micro
00:08:42 00:08:46 targeted audiences now what is it micro
00:08:44 00:08:48 targeted audience well it's a very small
00:08:46 00:08:51 small say small interest group so for
00:08:48 00:08:53 example direct competitors of mine in
00:08:51 00:08:55 the fishing space that audience sizes of
00:08:53 00:08:58 even fifty thousand up to five hundred
00:08:55 00:09:00 thousand right there's very small groups
00:08:58 00:09:02 now why do I go after those is because I
00:09:00 00:09:04 can tell you that those people I know
00:09:02 00:09:06 are my perfect buyers right if I know
00:09:04 00:09:07 they went and like that competitors page
00:09:06 00:09:10 that is most likely means that they have
00:09:07 00:09:11 bought from them before right or they're
00:09:10 00:09:13 interested in that specific kind of
00:09:11 00:09:15 fishing lure right the audience size is
00:09:13 00:09:16 small it's definitely not scalable by
00:09:15 00:09:18 any means you can't probably scale these
00:09:16 00:09:20 audio you can't scale these audiences
00:09:18 00:09:22 very very very far my rule of thumb is
00:09:20 00:09:24 usually $10.00 per day per 10,000
00:09:22 00:09:27 audience size so you can't scale them a
00:09:24 00:09:30 very much pass you know you know fifty
00:09:27 00:09:33 dollars a day per ad set however however
00:09:30 00:09:35 if you're just starting out is a great
00:09:33 00:09:38 audience size to use on this $5.00 day
00:09:35 00:09:41 budgets $10 a day budgets to bring in
00:09:38 00:09:42 that influx of buyers right it doesn't
00:09:41 00:09:45 have to be a ton of buyers if you can
00:09:42 00:09:47 get to 100 200 300 buyers on these micro
00:09:45 00:09:49 targeted groups you can easily start
00:09:47 00:09:51 scaling out to those million person
00:09:49 00:09:53 audiences starting to get into the LA a
00:09:51 00:09:55 game and then really seeing the huge
00:09:53 00:09:57 benefits that the Facebook ads bring you
00:09:55 00:09:59 because the thing about Facebook guys is
00:09:57 00:10:00 that in the beginning it sucks because
00:09:59 00:10:03 you don't have the data to give facebook
00:10:00 00:10:04 to help you but as you grow as you start
00:10:03 00:10:06 building up your buyers as you start
00:10:04 00:10:08 telling Facebook who those perfect
00:10:06 00:10:09 buyers are your life actually becomes so
00:10:08 00:10:12 much easier and that's when Facebook
