00:01:17 00:01:21 we drive traffic right now this traffic
00:01:19 00:01:23 is typically coming from you know
00:01:21 00:01:24 facebook advertising it's coming from
00:01:23 00:01:26 influencers right
00:01:24 00:01:28 point is you're paying for it right
00:01:26 00:01:30 you're paying this traffic
00:01:28 00:01:31 right you're paying this traffic to come
00:01:30 00:01:33 to your
00:01:31 00:01:35 website in some way shape or form okay
00:01:33 00:01:37 now your website
00:01:35 00:01:38 right let's say on your website you are
00:01:37 00:01:41 selling something for
00:01:38 00:01:42 twenty dollars for the simplicity of
00:01:41 00:01:43 this example let's say you're selling
00:01:42 00:01:45 something here
00:01:43 00:01:47 for twenty dollars right you're selling
00:01:45 00:01:49 twenty dollar product now this traffic
00:01:47 00:01:51 isn't free right again you're paying for
00:01:49 00:01:52 these people to come to your actual
00:01:51 00:01:54 business here
00:01:52 00:01:55 right so how do we how much do we
00:01:54 00:01:57 actually have to pay these people so on
00:01:55 00:01:59 average if you're selling it like a 20
00:01:57 00:02:01 product or something right your ad costs
00:01:59 00:02:02 here right you're typically going to be
00:02:01 00:02:04 spending
00:02:02 00:02:05 you know around 10 to get somebody to
00:02:04 00:02:07 even give you
00:02:05 00:02:09 give you 20. now on the outside looking
00:02:07 00:02:10 in this looks like
00:02:09 00:02:12 you know this looks good right you're
00:02:10 00:02:14 like oh i just made 10 bucks awesome but
00:02:12 00:02:16 it doesn't work like that right that's
00:02:14 00:02:19 how business necessarily works okay so
00:02:16 00:02:20 let's say now on the outside right what
00:02:19 00:02:22 do our actual
00:02:20 00:02:23 profit margins look like what is what
00:02:22 00:02:24 does the business actually look like
00:02:23 00:02:27 realistikally
00:02:24 00:02:27 okay so again we have you know revenue
00:02:27 00:02:31 right here
00:02:27 00:02:33 right we have revenue of roughly 20
00:02:31 00:02:34 right we have our ads that we have to
00:02:33 00:02:36 factor in there
00:02:34 00:02:37 which cost us 10 right and then we also
00:02:36 00:02:39 have to factor in
00:02:37 00:02:41 our cost of goods right with with
00:02:39 00:02:43 e-commerce and drop shipping right
00:02:41 00:02:44 you're not just getting this product for
00:02:43 00:02:45 free
00:02:44 00:02:47 right so even if you're let's say i'll
00:02:45 00:02:47 give you the benefit of the dell let's

00:02:47 00:02:50 you're getting you know uh this product
00:02:49 00:02:50 that you're selling for 20 bucks let's

00:03:03 00:03:07 right so like how do you actually build
00:03:05 00:03:08 a business like this right it's very
00:03:07 00:03:10 very difficult and this is one of the
00:03:08 00:03:11 one of the issues with a lot of people
00:03:10 00:03:13 getting into drop shipping and
00:03:11 00:03:14 and making money with e-commerce is that
00:03:13 00:03:16 most people will tell you well like hey
00:03:14 00:03:18 all you have to do is sell this product
00:03:16 00:03:18 you have ads 10 bucks you're making 10
00:03:18 00:03:20 every time
00:03:18 00:03:22 but it's not like that right there's a
00:03:20 00:03:24 better way to do this um and a faster
00:03:22 00:03:25 way for even a beginner just making
00:03:24 00:03:27 money online with drop shipping to be
00:03:25 00:03:28 profitable right out of the gate
00:03:27 00:03:30 okay so let's clear the board here and
00:03:28 00:03:32 take a look at that
00:03:30 00:03:34 instead right instead of sending traffic
00:03:32 00:03:35 to just a page that just says once
00:03:34 00:03:37 a single product right we want to
00:03:35 00:03:39 control the sales process we want to
00:03:37 00:03:41 we want to increase how much money
00:03:39 00:03:42 somebody spends with us
00:03:41 00:03:44 right and that's the key especially when
00:03:42 00:03:46 you're at running ads on facebook and
00:03:44 00:03:48 instagram wherever you're running ads is
00:03:46 00:03:50 that first time sale that one's the
00:03:48 00:03:52 hardest guys right that first yes is the
00:03:50 00:03:53 hardest every subsequent one after that
00:03:52 00:03:55 is a lot easier and that's what i'm
00:03:53 00:03:56 going to show you exactly how to do

00:04:07 00:04:11 so you're still selling this 20 product
00:04:10 00:04:14 right you're still selling your 20
00:04:11 00:04:16 product the ads still cost you 10 bucks
00:04:14 00:04:18 to get a buyer in the door
00:04:16 00:04:20 right but instead of leaving it there
00:04:18 00:04:21 like in our previous example instead of
00:04:20 00:04:23 just leaving it like that
00:04:21 00:04:25 let's change it up right let's change it
00:04:23 00:04:27 up and let's just add one more thing

00:04:27 00:04:32 right let's add an upsell all right now
00:04:30 00:04:33 an upsell is a one-click upsell this is
00:04:32 00:04:34 very important we're not gonna go into
00:04:33 00:04:36 tiknical of this we have a whole

00:04:37 00:04:40 in the corners of this video

00:04:55 00:04:57 every single business that you start
00:04:56 00:04:59 whether you're selling ecommerce
00:04:57 00:05:02 products digital products whatever
00:04:59 00:05:03 right because the first sale again
00:05:02 00:05:05 usually is not going to
00:05:03 00:05:06 be like the most profitable if
00:05:05 00:05:07 profitable at all that's why even
00:05:06 00:05:09 breaking even
00:05:07 00:05:10 on that first sale is a really good
00:05:09 00:05:12 thing all right but most business owners
00:05:10 00:05:13 don't even understand that right
00:05:12 00:05:15 you're just focused on making all the
00:05:13 00:05:16 money right here which you're not going
00:05:15 00:05:17 to most people don't
00:05:16 00:05:19 okay so traffic's coming in you're
00:05:17 00:05:20 spending 10 bucks spending 20
00:05:19 00:05:23 right but let's say we had like an
00:05:20 00:05:25 upsell here right for 40 bucks
00:05:23 00:05:26 right now let's see how much that
00:05:25 00:05:27 changes our numbers right let's let's
00:05:26 00:05:31 take a look at that
00:05:27 00:05:34 just adding in this 40 right so now
00:05:31 00:05:37 our revenue right revenue is 60 bucks
00:05:34 00:05:40 right we made 60 bucks our ad still
00:05:37 00:05:43 cost us only ten dollars to acquire
00:05:40 00:05:46 this customer right and then you know
00:05:43 00:05:48 you have the cost of goods right so even
00:05:46 00:05:49 with let's just say you know your cost
00:05:48 00:05:51 of goods for these two products let's
00:05:49 00:05:52 say it was 20 bucks
00:05:51 00:05:53 right typically you'll have a little bit
00:05:52 00:05:54 better of margin there but let's say
00:05:53 00:05:56 it's 20 bucks i want to show you guys
00:05:54 00:05:58 this as an example
00:05:56 00:05:59 right now minus the 30 the cost of goods
00:05:58 00:06:01 was just 20.
00:05:59 00:06:03 the advertisement which cost us 10 and
00:06:01 00:06:04 then from the revenue and what are we
00:06:03 00:06:06 left with right we're left with a net
00:06:04 00:06:07 of 30. now i know what some of you might
00:06:06 00:06:08 be thinking well not everyone's gonna
00:06:07 00:06:09 take up something not everyone's gonna
00:06:08 00:06:11 take the upsell pete
00:06:09 00:06:12 but still if you even if you're getting
00:06:11 00:06:15 10 15
00:06:12 00:06:17 people choosing this right you're still
00:06:15 00:06:19 making out way more positive
00:06:17 00:06:21 now here's the best part is that you can
00:06:19 00:06:22 change around how this funnel entirely

00:06:45 00:06:49 there's every piece of it is critikal to
00:06:47 00:06:51 have in your funnel
00:06:49 00:06:52 to maximize how much money you make from
00:06:51 00:06:55 that traffic
00:06:52 00:06:57 on that first sale again that first sale
00:06:55 00:06:58 is the hardest if you can break even
00:06:57 00:06:59 you're gonna you have a seven figure
00:06:58 00:07:01 business on your hands
00:06:59 00:07:02 because all the money is made on the
00:07:01 00:07:04 back end okay
00:07:02 00:07:06 so let me show you guys how this kind of

00:07:06 00:07:10 sales funnel looks like right so again

00:07:29 00:07:33 hacks that you can put into your entire
00:07:31 00:07:35 funnel if you're already working with it
00:07:33 00:07:36 um to kind of like maximize the whole
00:07:35 00:07:37 entire amount of money somebody spends
00:07:36 00:07:38 with you which is called the average
00:07:37 00:07:40 cart value
00:07:38 00:07:43 okay now this twenty dollars i always

00:08:13 00:08:16 if it's two it's you know x y z four so

00:08:16 00:08:19 giving them a better and better deal as
00:08:18 00:08:21 they buy more than one
00:08:19 00:08:23 critikal to have that next thing that

00:08:23 00:08:26 is called an order bump i'm just going
00:08:25 00:08:28 to write o b
00:08:26 00:08:30 now this order bump is just a
00:08:28 00:08:31 pre-purchase upsell it's a no-brainer
00:08:30 00:08:33 toss-in item
00:08:31 00:08:35 i love to use the example as an order
00:08:33 00:08:37 bump as you know when your grocery store
00:08:35 00:08:39 checkout line easy
00:08:37 00:08:41 no-brainer toss an item bag of chips
00:08:39 00:08:42 altoids whatever right easy no-brainers
00:08:41 00:08:44 right that people just don't even give
00:08:42 00:08:47 it second thought they buy it this
00:08:44 00:08:48 you shouldn't have to explain in depth a
00:08:47 00:08:50 good order bump you should be able to
00:08:48 00:08:51 explain in one two sentences
00:08:50 00:08:53 and it should be converting at that if
00:08:51 00:08:53 you have to put pictures in here and all
00:08:53 00:08:55 these things
00:08:53 00:08:56 it's going to complicate the process
00:08:55 00:08:57 it's going to end up hurting your
00:08:56 00:08:58 conversions here anyway all right so the
00:08:57 00:09:00 order pump should be able to be
00:08:58 00:09:01 explained in one two sentences and it
00:09:00 00:09:03 should be an absolute
00:09:01 00:09:04 no-brainer for your customer to buy
00:09:03 00:09:04 right think about it if you're selling

00:09:04 00:09:08 toothbrushes or or toothbrushes right
00:09:07 00:09:09 the order one should be toothpaste they
00:09:08 00:09:10 don't need to see how it looks they
00:09:09 00:09:12 understand the benefits of it okay
00:09:10 00:09:14 so these are the keys to have on your
00:09:12 00:09:16 order form just these two things
00:09:14 00:09:18 right are gonna help you drastikally at
00:09:16 00:09:19 least try and break even on your funnel
00:09:18 00:09:20 or on your traffic
00:09:19 00:09:22 all right because again you're gonna be
00:09:20 00:09:24 having more people taking quantity
00:09:22 00:09:26 breaks and your order bump as well
00:09:24 00:09:27 now we can take them to the upsell
00:09:26 00:09:29 sequence now
00:09:27 00:09:31 this is an upsell sequence that we like
00:09:29 00:09:32 to use for all of our clients that we
00:09:31 00:09:34 build funnels for
00:09:32 00:09:36 um because it just works really really
00:09:34 00:09:37 well especially if you just need to get
00:09:36 00:09:38 something out there and get that initial
00:09:37 00:09:40 data and that's the key
00:09:38 00:09:42 right when you advertise on facebook and
00:09:40 00:09:43 i'm gonna let you a little secret
00:09:42 00:09:44 you're not paying for customers guys
00:09:43 00:09:46 right a lot of people think oh i'm
00:09:44 00:09:47 driving traffic on facebook i'm i'm
00:09:46 00:09:48 getting customers no you're paying for
00:09:47 00:09:49 data
00:09:48 00:09:51 right that's what you're at you're
00:09:49 00:09:53 trying to extract data from the facebook
00:09:51 00:09:55 algorithm so you can use for yourself
00:09:53 00:09:57 that's the game right getting the data
00:09:55 00:09:59 the person that has the most data wins

00:10:15 00:10:18 i recommend either selling more of the
00:10:17 00:10:20 same thing they just bought here at a
00:10:18 00:10:22 discounted rate or
00:10:20 00:10:24 a complementary product so but typically
00:10:22 00:10:26 you want this priced roughly around
00:10:24 00:10:27 where this four unit one is
00:10:26 00:10:29 okay so if you're selling more of the
00:10:27 00:10:31 same thing sell them four more here at a
00:10:29 00:10:33 discounted rate you could do like 20
00:10:31 00:10:35 off right if your margin allows for it
00:10:33 00:10:37 right now you can also have another
00:10:35 00:10:39 upsell here and i recommend you do so so
00:10:37 00:10:40 this will be our upsell number two

00:12:19 00:12:22 an upsell but it's called a continuity
