The biggest challenge I faced when building my e-commerce business was building a brand that had value and longevity. Initially, I had a general store with multiple niches and was drop shipping low-quality items from China. While it was profitable, I realized that I was not building anything long-term or valuable. I then decided to focus on one niche, which was beer-related products, and created a brand called Last Beer Standing. However, even with a focused niche, I still faced challenges with fulfillment and dealing with the competition in the market. Ad costs were also not the same as they used to be, and shipping from China has become more complicated. Despite these challenges, my business has been running smoothly since 2016 and continues to be successful.
