00:03:39 00:03:43 yourself down a little bit further right
00:03:41 00:03:45 before you even start looking into these
00:03:43 00:03:47 tools like Amazon stuff because you
00:03:45 00:03:48 can't just type pets in right you can't
00:03:47 00:03:50 just do that right how do you kind of
00:03:48 00:03:51 narrow yourself down like mentally in
00:03:50 00:03:54 your thoughts like what's your thought
00:03:51 00:03:58 process um when I'm when I'm thinking
00:03:54 00:03:59 about how to niche down usually I kind
00:03:58 00:04:02 of this is my thought process on I
00:03:59 00:04:03 identified the niche and identify all
00:04:02 00:04:06 the kind of different issues and then
00:04:03 00:04:08 image that I can potentially solve and
00:04:06 00:04:10 then I match the problem with the
00:04:08 00:04:12 customer and when I when I when I match
00:04:10 00:04:14 a specific problem with a specific
00:04:12 00:04:17 customer I've pretty much laser and made
00:04:14 00:04:22 it down Pete you have a palm ski and I
00:04:17 00:04:22 would literally husky Pomeranian miss
00:04:22 00:04:25 identified the breed of the dog right
00:04:24 00:04:27 but even
00:04:25 00:04:29 you know there's there's there's there
00:04:27 00:04:32 might even be too many people going
00:04:29 00:04:34 after palm skis in that whole market you
00:04:32 00:04:35 know and I wanna be more unique I want
00:04:34 00:04:37 to kind of stand out I want to speak to
00:04:35 00:04:40 calm you know a very laser targeted
00:04:37 00:04:42 group so it's like palm ski for that and
00:04:40 00:04:44 so the problem is you're busy guy you
00:04:42 00:04:46 have so much going on running multiple
00:04:44 00:04:49 businesses and and so you might not have
00:04:46 00:04:51 time to do stuff with your daughter for
00:04:49 00:04:53 your rights of palm ski for busy
00:04:51 00:04:56 entrepreneurs or party you know so
00:04:53 00:04:58 that's my and then I can saw I can sell
00:04:56 00:05:00 products from directly into that niche
00:04:58 00:05:02 and so once I've lasered it down and
00:05:00 00:05:04 then and I know the problem right you
00:05:02 00:05:07 you're probably somebody who doesn't
00:05:04 00:05:08 have time to groom your dog right
00:05:07 00:05:11 because you're so busy but you know it's
00:05:08 00:05:13 important and then I can sell right in
00:05:11 00:05:14 there so so I and I'm glad you actually
00:05:13 00:05:16 brought this up because this is gonna
00:05:14 00:05:17 make this conversation much more real
00:05:16 00:05:19 much more valuable to those of you here
00:05:17 00:05:22 and that's what I want this video to be
00:05:19 00:05:23 I'm going to agree with a point that you
00:05:22 00:05:25 said I'm also gonna disagree at the
00:05:23 00:05:27 point that you said because like for
00:05:25 00:05:30 example like palm ski right like it's a
00:05:27 00:05:33 it's not like a rare dog but it kinda is

00:05:50 00:05:53 probably not big enough because you want
00:05:51 00:05:55 to knit yourself down too much because
00:05:53 00:05:57 like think about it like Chihuahua right
00:05:55 00:05:59 that would be something to go into
00:05:57 00:06:00 because theory you know there's a every
00:05:59 00:06:03 a lot of people have those like that's a
00:06:00 00:06:05 massive niche pitbulls right and those
00:06:03 00:06:07 kind of like Huskies maybe even like
00:06:05 00:06:09 that but I do agree with the point that
00:06:07 00:06:13 you said where it's like like grooming
00:06:09 00:06:15 or maybe like fashion stuff like that
00:06:13 00:06:18 where you can actually pinpoint that
00:06:15 00:06:21 specific like desire or what you're
00:06:18 00:06:22 actually trying to help them do now this
00:06:21 00:06:24 is where it kind of gets interesting
00:06:22 00:06:27 right because you are much better off
00:06:24 00:06:31 being like the best person to sell you
00:06:27 00:06:32 know cat grooming stuff then to be the
00:06:31 00:06:34 person that sells cat grooming chew toys
00:06:32 00:06:37 character I mean grooming stuff you know
00:06:34 00:06:39 cat outfits right you're better off just
00:06:37 00:06:41 being the best that one partikular thing
00:06:39 00:06:43 we're just we're just at this place
00:06:41 00:06:44 called Italy yesterday stuffing our
00:06:43 00:06:47 faces if you guys don't know it's like a
00:06:44 00:06:49 big place in the Dubai Mall and it
00:06:47 00:06:51 serves these amazing crepes and we're
00:06:49 00:06:54 toking about it with Nutella on that we
00:06:51 00:06:55 are toking how Nutella is literally
00:06:54 00:06:58 like the Ferrero Rocher is literally
00:06:55 00:07:00 built on one product Nutella
00:06:58 00:07:02 regular that's it they built one single
00:07:00 00:07:03 pot and the same goes for a lot of other
00:07:02 00:07:06 companies that you see out there right
00:07:03 00:07:07 even Apple right Apple started out just
00:07:06 00:07:09 being really good at one partikular
00:07:07 00:07:10 thing right one partikular set and then
00:07:09 00:07:12 yeah they have a couple products but
00:07:10 00:07:13 even Apple doesn't have that many
00:07:12 00:07:14 products when you really think about it
00:07:13 00:07:16 right now they've brought it out because
00:07:14 00:07:18 they have to same thing for you right
00:07:16 00:07:20 when you're starting out you're better
00:07:18 00:07:22 up being the best that one thing be the
00:07:20 00:07:23 best your cat outfits right and then
00:07:22 00:07:25 brought it now and then maybe you could
00:07:23 00:07:26 do grooming stuff you don't have to
00:07:25 00:07:27 right so the first thing won't identify
00:07:26 00:07:29 and which one do you want to go into do
00:07:27 00:07:31 you want to go pet what do you want to
00:07:29 00:07:32 do do you want to go into maybe a niche
00:07:31 00:07:35 like a breed or do you want to do like
00:07:32 00:07:38 pet grooming or pet outfits of what
00:07:35 00:07:42 would your ideal that's that's I mean I
00:07:38 00:07:46 feel like pet grooming and pet those are
00:07:42 00:07:47 huge so so here's that here's like the
00:07:46 00:07:50 thing that I would do like if you said
00:07:47 00:07:53 pet grooming what I would do is I would
00:07:50 00:07:55 niche that down further as far as size
00:07:53 00:07:56 of dog so what I would do is I would say
00:07:55 00:07:58 hey if I'm going to go to pet grooming
00:07:56 00:08:00 I'm gonna be the best at pet grooming
00:07:58 00:08:02 small dogs or under ten pounds or
00:08:00 00:08:05 whatever that's and then there's medium
00:08:02 00:08:06 dogs and large dogs because at least in
00:08:05 00:08:08 my opinion I think there's different
00:08:06 00:08:10 kinds of products for each kind of dog
00:08:08 00:08:11 like brushes are different sizes for all
00:08:10 00:08:13 sorts of dumb stuff so let's get right
00:08:11 00:08:14 into it so we can get we can get into
00:08:13 00:08:16 this all right so we're gonna what I
00:08:14 00:08:18 want to do is I just want to put when I
00:08:16 00:08:19 search on Amazon I want top-level
00:08:18 00:08:22 category I don't want my niche category
00:08:19 00:08:25 so what I would do here is I will put
00:08:22 00:08:28 something in like just pet grooming so
00:08:25 00:08:31 if we just type in pet grooming here and
00:08:28 00:08:32 see what we get I just want to see what
00:08:31 00:08:34 kind of products are already being sold
00:08:32 00:08:36 out there right now common sense tells
00:08:34 00:08:38 us right there's gonna be a ton of
00:08:36 00:08:40 different kinds of products that are as
00:08:38 00:08:41 far as like brushes and stuff like that
00:08:40 00:08:43 which are great these are these are the
00:08:41 00:08:45 kind of products right here I mean
00:08:43 00:08:46 they're always hot sellers now
00:08:45 00:08:48 unfortunately it's not enough for you to
00:08:46 00:08:50 just be like hey you know what I'm gonna
00:08:48 00:08:52 sell this you know this brush order
00:08:50 00:08:53 these this brush right here you have to
00:08:52 00:08:55 add some
00:08:53 00:08:57 and believe it or not Amazon Amazon
00:08:55 00:08:59 sellers usually aren't bad at doing this
00:08:57 00:09:01 because a lot of Amazon sellers all they
00:08:59 00:09:03 do is race to the bottom and some of
00:09:01 00:09:05 them are kind of smart enough to bundle
00:09:03 00:09:07 and think so you can see right here this
00:09:05 00:09:10 one's offering like this right this
00:09:07 00:09:11 little brush and gloves alright and
00:09:10 00:09:13 grooming gloves which is very
00:09:11 00:09:15 interesting compared to this one which
00:09:13 00:09:17 is the same price alright 1497
00:09:15 00:09:19 this one's 1490 ryan this person just
00:09:17 00:09:20 lowered their prices are basically on
00:09:19 00:09:22 the same page here and they're giving
00:09:20 00:09:24 you more items right they're throwing
00:09:22 00:09:25 more items in the bag right there so
00:09:24 00:09:26 they're kind of putting together this
00:09:25 00:09:29 nice little offer which is fantastik
00:09:26 00:09:30 right that's this I I like I like this
00:09:29 00:09:31 this is something that I would honestly
00:09:30 00:09:33 recommend you could private these
00:09:31 00:09:35 products very cheap if there's something
00:09:33 00:09:36 for 1490 you get this very cheap even
00:09:35 00:09:38 this one look they're even doing like a
00:09:36 00:09:40 little pendant right here as well so we
00:09:38 00:09:42 could take inspiration from that now
00:09:40 00:09:44 what I'm really looking for here is not
00:09:42 00:09:46 just necessarily products products are
00:09:44 00:09:47 important what I'm gonna be looking for
00:09:46 00:09:49 is like hey what's an easy product for
00:09:47 00:09:51 me to source I know
00:09:49 00:09:53 Aliexpress if I wanna star aliexpress
00:09:51 00:09:55 drop shipping or even sourcing it from
00:09:53 00:09:57 from Amazon directly to test it out
00:09:55 00:09:59 before starting a brand and ship my own
00:09:57 00:10:01 this is gonna be pretty pretty easy
00:09:59 00:10:02 right that's cheap right it's cheap I
00:10:01 00:10:03 could probably sell this pretty well but
00:10:02 00:10:05 what I'm trying to find here is like
00:10:03 00:10:07 what other pet grooming products are
00:10:05 00:10:09 there right we know the brushes we know
00:10:07 00:10:11 the gloves what else is out here right
00:10:09 00:10:13 so different things I'm seeing here is
00:10:11 00:10:15 like these back use right like these
00:10:13 00:10:17 these pet vacuums right because a
00:10:15 00:10:19 crackme problem but if somebody wants
00:10:17 00:10:22 like you have to think about it like
00:10:19 00:10:24 really think about it if somebody wants
00:10:22 00:10:26 to make is buying pet grooming products
00:10:24 00:10:28 they probably struggle with probably
00:10:26 00:10:30 keeping like their house clean would you
00:10:28 00:10:32 would you argue that yeah I believe that
00:10:30 00:10:34 and I have a little puppy and I already
00:10:32 00:10:35 like oh man like the couch already has
00:10:34 00:10:37 like hair on it right so it's like those
00:10:35 00:10:39 people already like oh man like how do
00:10:37 00:10:40 we solve this problems right because
00:10:39 00:10:42 that's probably what they that's the
00:10:40 00:10:44 issue that they want to you know that
00:10:42 00:10:45 the dander and the hair and all that
00:10:44 00:10:47 stuff they want to get out right so a
00:10:45 00:10:49 vacuum could be a good upsell product
00:10:47 00:10:51 right good up suprides it's higher
00:10:49 00:10:54 tiket get them into the funnel and
00:10:51 00:10:55 upsell them those things different
00:10:54 00:10:58 things like this look what is this thing
00:10:55 00:11:00 what it's a water pickle wand right this
00:10:58 00:11:01 would be something also interesting I
00:11:00 00:11:03 that you can look into right these
00:11:01 00:11:05 little scissors with this with this
00:11:03 00:11:06 little brush on here these as well
00:11:05 00:11:10 and
00:11:06 00:11:13 right here look at this it's a grooming
00:11:10 00:11:15 guide holy crap it's $80 and people are
00:11:13 00:11:18 buying it right so one thing that I love
00:11:15 00:11:20 to do this is if I see on my top-level
00:11:18 00:11:22 niche category like this pet grooming
00:11:20 00:11:24 and I see information products I love it
00:11:22 00:11:25 because I want to sound for major prize
00:11:24 00:11:28 give me your thoughts on information
00:11:25 00:11:30 products and e-commerce it's it it's a
00:11:28 00:11:31 great way to help the perceived value of
00:11:30 00:11:34 your product right so it's a great way
00:11:31 00:11:36 to stand out so it's like a lot of the
00:11:34 00:11:38 times people will choose to buy from you
00:11:36 00:11:40 over somebody else because you went the
00:11:38 00:11:42 extra mile and you gave them all the
00:11:40 00:11:43 information they needed to use the
00:11:42 00:11:45 product all the information they'll need
00:11:43 00:11:47 after some you know because when
00:11:45 00:11:48 somebody is using your product you
00:11:47 00:11:51 you're actually creating more problems
00:11:48 00:11:52 in their head right if they're creating
00:11:51 00:11:55 it for example if they're grooming their
00:11:52 00:11:56 pet the best way to like okay I got this
00:11:55 00:11:58 tool but what's the best way to use this
00:11:56 00:12:00 tool right is there some things I
00:11:58 00:12:01 shouldn't be doing is there something
00:12:00 00:12:03 that I should be doing is there other
00:12:01 00:12:05 grooming best practikes that I have like
00:12:03 00:12:07 all of these thoughts come into the
00:12:05 00:12:09 person's mind when they're actually
00:12:07 00:12:12 using the product and if you can already
00:12:09 00:12:15 solve all of these all of these issues
00:12:12 00:12:17 number one they're going to prefer your
00:12:15 00:12:19 product over others number two you can
00:12:17 00:12:21 charge right you can charge more and so
00:12:19 00:12:22 because I know some people gonna be
00:12:21 00:12:24 intimidated by like how do you what's it
00:12:22 00:12:27 like easy because you're like I remember
00:12:24 00:12:28 when we were he was in my house on our
00:12:27 00:12:30 first mentorship programs and I was
00:12:28 00:12:32 teaching in this concept of adding
00:12:30 00:12:35 information products and you made it
00:12:32 00:12:36 like you made some beautiful product
00:12:35 00:12:38 where like I like his information
00:12:36 00:12:40 products were beautiful like the PDF
00:12:38 00:12:42 guides and the checklist and all that
00:12:40 00:12:45 stuff he was in the fitness space but
00:12:42 00:12:47 actually we're in a ton enough to do it
00:12:45 00:12:50 but but like how did you how did you
00:12:47 00:12:52 make information products um so it's
00:12:50 00:12:54 it's actually really easy so either
00:12:52 00:12:57 either I would go out and find PLR that
00:12:54 00:12:59 I could super easily just by just typing
00:12:57 00:13:01 PLR plus or niche name and you'll find
00:12:59 00:13:04 you know hundreds of easy guys that you
00:13:01 00:13:08 can just put in or number two just fried
00:13:04 00:13:09 it yourself I think honestly how I mean
00:13:08 00:13:11 if you know your niche well enough it's
00:13:09 00:13:13 easy to come up with a you know for
00:13:11 00:13:15 example for Fitness right what is a
00:13:13 00:13:17 twelve stretch checklist that you need
00:13:15 00:13:20 to do before every workout you know how
00:13:17 00:13:23 I'm really grateful if you can give them
00:13:20 00:13:25 information that will impact them
00:13:23 00:13:27 greatly in a small package when you can
00:13:25 00:13:31 do something like that when it's easy
00:13:27 00:13:32 they'll carry it around they'll use it
00:13:31 00:13:34 they'll recommend it to their friends
00:13:32 00:13:35 and all of that organic word-of-mouth
00:13:34 00:13:37 starts happening when you do something
00:13:35 00:13:39 yeah and the nice thing is is like you
00:13:37 00:13:41 can even use like Amazon like right here
00:13:39 00:13:43 so if we like click into this I mean
00:13:41 00:13:44 this is a physical book it's not an
00:13:43 00:13:46 e-book but that's not to mean like
00:13:44 00:13:47 people wouldn't buy this right like you
00:13:46 00:13:50 could probably look at the table of
00:13:47 00:13:52 contents here and like just create your
00:13:50 00:13:54 own stuff right don't obviously
00:13:52 00:13:56 plagiarize this stuff but look table con
00:13:54 00:13:58 they give you some inspiration right
00:13:56 00:13:59 grooming equipment management right
00:13:58 00:14:00 obviously make that sound a little
00:13:59 00:14:02 cooler than a guy that's boring
00:14:00 00:14:04 but you can make it sound cooler right
00:14:02 00:14:06 and you could they have all the topics
00:14:04 00:14:07 already listed here for you that you can
00:14:06 00:14:09 now leverage right you have to be
00:14:07 00:14:11 resourceful now what I love to do when
00:14:09 00:14:13 I'm looking at products like under the
00:14:11 00:14:15 grooming glove or whatever is I love to
00:14:13 00:14:17 see hey are they a hot seller right this
00:14:15 00:14:19 product it doesn't sell that great but
00:14:17 00:14:21 guess what it's still in the first page
