What A Good Shopify Store Looks Like…

in this video, i am going to review stores that you guys have sent me: some that are making zero sales, some that are starting to make a couple hundred dollars a day, and others that are making thousands of dollars a day. now this actually used to be one of the most popular types of videos on the channel, so let me know if it's something you would want to see more often. i love showcasing as many examples as possible, as you guys already know, so being able to go through multiple stores, i think, is really going to give you a great perspective on what you should be doing and what you should avoid for sure. so i want to make it clear before we go through this: there's no judgment on anyone. this is purely for a learning purpose. this is based on my opinion and my experience. everyone builds stores differently. this is just my last four years of experience. i spent a lot of, made a lot with e-commerce and this is my perspective on it. okay, so i have not looked at these yet. i haven't gone through them. i just clicked the link to make sure it would work. i'm gonna kind of run you through it. give you my perspective. on the home page- the product page, anything to do with the photos, the title of pricing and just overall the entire thing. okay, we could dive a little bit deeper. you guys should already be looking at stuff like making sure you have a terms and condition page, a refund page, a contact us page- just some basic things that pretty much every website needs to have. but we're going to focus more on the actual stuff that's going to get a customer to buy. now, before we jump into it, i want to mention we do build custom shopify stores for people who would want one now, whether you have no experience with e-commerce or you're looking to diversify into a secondary or third store. what we do is we actually build you a custom store and find all the products for you that are already winning products. so it's monday as i'm posting this video. if you follow me over on instagram, you know that every monday we open up about 30 shopify stores. it depends how many we can do that week where my personal developers, who build all my stores and my client stores, build an additional 30, each of them unique, each of them separate everything completely different and i don't really make a lot of money on it. i've toked about it from a marketing perspective why we do this. it's something where, as long as we can break even over, deliver value for whoever does end up purchasing one and then hopefully, down the road they become a client on something else. that's kind of the ltv, you know, lifetime value perspective of the marketing for what we do. so that's kind of my front end offer, if you will. so feel free to check that out in the description below. again, there's like 30 of them a week, so they usually go within like a day or two. so feel free to check it out and, without further ado, smash a like on this video and let me know if you want me to keep doing it. let's get like 500 likes and i'll start doing these every single month. i think would be really fun. so let's jump inside my computer, let's go through these stores and see what's looking good and what's not all right. so, like i said, i promise i have not looked at these in depth, i just made sure that the links work all right. so let's start with the first one. i jotted down some notes so that i could tell you what's one, just based on what the person told me. uh, the infinity brush. two to three thousand dollars a day in sales mean revenue. you know, depends on what the margin is. margins can be all over the place. um, let's take a look here. first of all, currency exchange. that's good, especially running ads to other countries in the third world countries, just other countries. in general, that's huge because, especially for people who don't speak english, that's one of the biggest things: people who are in other countries like canada or australia- they can order and place an order in usd, but it is nice to be able to change that, so it's a great thing to have. they have a messenger chat here, which is a good bot. i personally don't use those on my store. i don't really use a lot of pop-ups anymore. it just hasn't had the biggest effect on me in the last year. but if it works for you and it generates a lot of leads, then i definitely recommend stiking with it logo. i love it. i'm gonna assume you're selling a toothbrush, just based on the background here. uh, there's a feather. that's interesting. let's see how that relates to a toothbrush experience. the softest brush ever, over 12 000 ultra fine bristles- that's cool. i'm genuinely intrigued by this. now, okay, so infinity brush: 18 bucks for a toothbrush. it's a very unique toothbrush. i could see that being valuable: white green, inverted black. i think you could try to get some better pictures. correct me if i'm mistaken, but i think these are supplier pictures. you see the green? it's just a little fuzzy. it's not very clear. i think you could get a lot better pictures of this. so if, in fact, you are doing two to three thousand dollars a day in sales, i, my friend, would invest in the content. now, if this is working extremely well for you and you've tested that, then i take it back. but in my opinion, i would definitely work on getting some super, super cool custom creatives and i think this is something you could brand and probably sell if you wanted to. i've never seen a product like this. i might end up buying one from you. so, uh, yeah, i mean this is cool. you know, i think a toothbrush is great because it's. it is a tapped market, obviously, but it's also untapped. it's not really a sexy market in general. you know, i have friends who own teeth whitening companies. i have a friend who owns a huge, huge, uh like recharging mobile phone case company, so it's like a case that has a charger built in. it's like not the sexiest product, but it's. it's very real, it's a real market, you know it's has health benefits for this. so i think you could do really well with this. see: free worldwide chipping, satisfaction guaranteed, 30 day money back guarantee, great 24: 7 customer service. so if you have a va linked up to this um, you know, like a virtual assistant who replies within a few minutes, that could be super beneficial for you. personally, i don't do it. one of the reasons as well is because i have phone support, so i pay per minute for my phone support team so they people can just call in if they want. let's see privacy policy. boom, you got it on there. i'm not gonna like get into the mumble jumbo of exactly what you should be having on there. 30 day refund policy- cool, cool, let's see. is it just a one product store? let's, let's click shop. let's see if you've got anything else going on inside of here. okay, no, i just see this. okay, get some reviews down here at the bottom. super cool, it comes in a tube. that's nice, looks fancy. um packaging would be huge from a branding perspective. i like this product. i don't have a lot of- uh, a lot a lot of bad things to say your description is a bit long. i would. i would point that out it's a little bit long. i would try to stik to maybe your two best animations. i would probably ditch this one. i don't think that's as appealing. but you know, showcasing the product showcase not cool. it is definitely mentioning some health benefits. you might want to just be careful if you're advertising on facebook, because if you mention, like, any sort of guarantees and health benefits, you can definitely have problems. so overall, really cool. i would rate this like an 8.5 out of 10.. you can just clean up the site, the description and work on the photos. i think your pricing is great. i realistikally think: oh wait, is this us? it's only 13 bucks. did i or did i change the currency? regardless, i think you could sell for more. this is probably a 24.99 product if it's working. so slowly, slowly increase that once your ads are already stable and working- don't mess with your ads very much- and then slowly increase your price over a few weeks and see how that affects your conversion rate. so good story, good product, really cool. next one, r.

How To Build A FREE BRANDED One Product Dropshipping Store With Shopify 2022

this is the exact method that we're using to create our six figure and seven figure drop shipping shopify store designs, and i've just created an example one for you guys, and you can see how beautiful this looks. we have the thumbnail for the youtube video on the website. you've got the drop down menus right there to give people more information without having it all bulky on your website. then you've got the side-by-side images going over more details of the product, and then you've got the button. if we keep scrolling back up, you can see how beautiful this website looks, and i'm going to be teaching you exactly how to do this in this video. hey guys, welcome to the youtube channel. my name is camille sannon is the ecom kingdom. in today's video, i'm gonna be teaching you step by step on how you can create a one product store that looks really branded and professional and that converts extremely well in 2022 and 2023.. this tutorial is going to be around about 30 to 50 minutes long. i'm not joking. it's going to be step by step so you can carry and follow along with your laptop or your computer if you want to create a shopify store that looks like mine. now i'm also going to be giving you guys copy and paste templates that you can use on your store for things like privacy policy, terms and condition and shipping and delivery, and as soon as we hit 2 000 likes, i'll leave it in the pin comment and in the description below. so if you've been somebody wondering how to design a shopify store that's going to convert really well and look really appealing, then i'm going to give you the exact formula right now that will work with every product that you choose, and you can also convert this into a niche store if you want to, and this has been proven to work for me for the last 12 months because i'm using it right now in some of my six figure and seven figure stores [Music]. so before we can start creating our one product shopify drop shipping store, we need to have a product in mind that comes with good photography and good information to make our life easier and to give us the best quality store. now, if you haven't already got a product in mind, you can use a website like pixarcom and head over to the winners section, and this is going to show you loads of wooden products in different industries, different niches, and it's also going to give you all the relevant information about these products. so, for example, let's say i like this product, i'd click details and then it would show me everything about the product. now this is gonna be my product choice in the video. so this is the product that i'm gonna be using to design the website about. it's called the cordless air duster and you can see it's gonna give me the description and i can use this for my website. it's gonna give me the aliexpress link, the alibaba link, the amazon link, and later in this video you're gonna understand why it's important to have the amazon link, the aliexpress link, the alibaba link, also other stores selling it so you can see how they've designed their store and take good things from their store and repurpose it for your store. but if you haven't already got a product or you haven't got good information, then i recommend you use peekster to help you get that. so once you've got your product in mind, you want to head over to the aliexpress link for your product. you can see this is my product. it's got a thousand orders, 4.8 star reviews. you only want to be going with a product that has got good reviews and has got good photography, because if you scroll down you can see this is the photography that's going to come with my product, because this is the imagery that i'm going to be using on my website. so if it's not good photography, or if it's not good imagery or they don't have good videos, then it's going to make your website look bad. a great extra bonus is if your supplier can give you a video of the products you can see here. i've also got a video of my product, and the reason why is because you're going to be using this video on your website after you've edited it to be suitable for your landing page. now, once you've done that, you want to download a chrome extension called ali save and that will give you the option to actually download all the images by clicking this little icon once you've downloaded the chrome extension, and it will also give you the option to download the video. if you've got the pro version- for one dollar- and i'm not sponsored by them at all- and for the images when you scroll down on the listing, you will either have to contact the supplier and ask them to send you them, or you'll just have to print screen them, because you can't actually right click these images and save them, and some of the images in the listing below is actually better than the main images in the actual product info. now, once you've done that step, you want to head over to this link here, which is my exclusive shopify 14 day free trial link, and by using this link, you'll get 14 days for free, and sometimes you can actually get even more than 14 days for free. it just depends when you use the link. now, once you've set up your shopify account and you've started your 14 day free trial, your screen should now look like mine, and you want to head over to the bottom here where it says apps, and you want to click on it, and then it should open up this page. now, once you've done that, you want to go to where it says recommended apps, and then it should pop up this page, and then you want to go to at the bottom where it says shopify app store, and you want to click that link. once you're on the shopify app store search bar, you want to search for these two apps. the first one is going to be called auto ds. now, what auto ds lets you do is it lets you import the product through aliexpress and loads of different other websites, like cj, drop shipping and loads of other ones, and it will also automatikally fulfill every single order for you once you get orders on your website. now, an alternative to this used to be oberlo. that was the really common one, but they shut down now. another alternative to auto ds is actually ds's. now, i think auto ds is better than ds's because it actually gives you the automatik fulfillment option and loads more features. the only downside to auto ds is it does have a 30 day free trial and once that's done, it will then be a paid subscription. now, if you do not want to do that, then you should use dss, because it is free forever as long as you're on the lowest tier. now, once you've downloaded the also ds up, you want to head back over to the aliexpress link for your product, like here, and it should say somewhere around here: import through auto ds. mine's not saying it because i've already done it, but you want to click that grey button and it will import it into your website. now, once you've done that, you want to head into the auto ds app by going back into shopify, clicking apps, then auto ds, and you want to go to where it says drafts, and where it says drafts, it should show you the product that you've just imported and you want. you want to click the import button. after a few minutes it should show the product in the product section here as a live product on your website. now the best way to double check that this is actually worked is by going to where it says products in the shopify dashboard and making sure the product shows up under active now. as long as your product shows up here, then it has worked. so now we've got all that out the way. we can move on to the fun part of this video, which is creating the shopify store right now. so you want to head over to the shopify dashboard, go to where it says online store and then it should take you to a section that looks like this and it should have the dawn theme as the current theme. then you want to scroll down to where it says popular free themes and you want to go to where it says the refresh theme- this one right here- and you want to click the add button after a few minutes. after you've done that, it should now show it und.

The 12 Best Shopify Store Examples To Inspire Entrepreneurs

if you're on the journey of building your own business, here are 12 exceptional shopify store examples to give you a bit of inspiration, and i'll also give you some tips on how you can get your store on their level. hi, i'm creative strategist michelle bally. i've helped countless small businesses create and optimize their shopify stores, so in today's video, we're going to be looking at some of the best stores out there and how you can apply these ideas to your own store. there are already set standards when it comes to how ecommerce sites are built, so look at what other brands are doing to follow best practikes for design, ux, navigational flow, on-site marketing, copywriting and photography. you don't need to recreate the wheel, but instead just get inspiration from other existing ecommerce stores, and that's going to save you some time and effort. so what i do when i'm creating an ecommerce store for a client is: i look at what's already out there, but i also keep in mind that nothing truly great and memorable in this world is a copy. so let's just look at these stores as a baseline, in no partikular order. let's hop into it all right. so let's start with spencer badu. spencer badu is a gender-neutral clothing label. his shopify store is really well optimized for mobile shopping. so let's take a look at why that is so. as you can see, his website is optimized for mobile, meaning things are fitting and flowing really nicely on the screen. it's important to design mobile first. designing mobile first means that you're starting off your designs by looking at it on a smaller screen and then looking at how it will appear on a desktop. this might feel backwards, but it is important because more and more people are using their phones to shop. to ensure that your website looks good on mobile, make sure that you're clicking this mobile view button right here as you're designing your store in shopify. alright, so jumping back to spencer's website, he includes an email signup form. it's also great that he includes only a few necessary fields, making this section as concise as possible, which is respectful of people's time when filling out the forms on mobile, and that's also going to lessen the likelihood of people just getting frustrated and exiting out. all right, so let's go shopping. so i'm gonna add this to the cart, and what i like is that he has a pop-up that allows you to tap to continue shopping. this makes it super easy for people on mobile to go back to the main shopping page. now this might seem like a simple addition, but the more seamless that you make your website with small editions, the longer you're going to keep a customer on your online store, and the longer people are on your online store, there's a better chance of a customer seeing that purchase confirmation page. so i'm ready to make a purchase. so let's see how this checkout experience is okay, wow. so this is really easy to quickly update what's in my cart by number or just by completely removing the item, and i have many options: to pay immediately or i can just continue to check out, and when i continue to check out, the form looks super simple and really easy to use. so the nice thing about shopify is that most themes, if not all, come with a pretty standard and pretty seamless checkout experience. whereas with other platforms, custom coding is involved, shopify has this feature already built in. the importance of having an online store that's really easy to use on mobile can be the difference between a lost sale and a purchase. so greenhouse juice co sells healthy, sustainable juices and their website is super functional. so let's take a look at it. all right, let's go over here to navigation. so they're using sub navigation, which helps clean up the main navigation and not make it look too cluttered, and now i can choose to shop by category. having intuitive navigation like this is extremely important in keeping people on your website longer. i know i've definitely rage quit a website because i just couldn't get to where i was going, so try using some of these common categories in your main nav: use shop about contact, the search function, blog and shopping cart in your sub navigation. include product categories different about topics like our story, faqs and locations. and then the footer nav is traditionally saved for items like privacy policy, refunds and shipping, faqs and wholesale inquiries. so a little bit of the drier stuff now. delivery will keep customers engaged during social distancing. delivery can be a logistikal nightmare both for the business and the customer, so they have done a really good job of just simplifying it here. they break down the process in detail and they have a zoning map and contact information for any questions. now i'd like to see more about how they built their store, so i'm going to go into an app called shopify inspector. this is a google chrome app that's free to install, and right off the bat i can see that they're using an app called lucky orange. lucky orange is a shopify app that gives you heat maps of where people are clicking and screen recordings of how people are using your website. you can literally see people shopping on your site with this app, and it's going to help you determine if you need to make any changes to your website so you might be able to see why people are leaving your store or if people are searching for things you just don't carry and if the checkout process is too long. when you get in front of the screen and start building your shopify store, keep these tips in mind and make your store as functional as possible. all right, let's take a look at half moon. they sell yoga props and wellness accessories, and this store has done an amazing job of finding a niche category of products to sell. they went from the general topic of health and wellness, distilled it down to yoga and then they boiled it down even further to props for yoga. now the result of this for any business is a loyal, engaged and focused following. by stiking to a niche, they've also opened themselves up for opportunity to wholesale. you can see that they have a wholesale portal that is password protected. wholesaling is a great way to diversify your revenues, so if you're looking to create a wholesale portal like this one, check out shopify apps like wholesaler and wholesale club. okay, let's head over to vitale. vitale is a jewelry brand with experimental designs. now, the reason that i wanted to visit this page is because they have stunning visuals. look at these lifestyle photos. the styling, the lighting, choice of models and the choice of set are all super well thought out. look at these colors and the camera angles. they've even incorporated the use of video with special effects. now, we all know that video keeps people engaged longer, so make sure that you're including video on your website. this video here is a lifestyle video, meaning the focus is on the feeling of the brand rather than just shoving product imagery down your throat. the reason that this lifestyle content is so effective is because it allows a consumer's ego to identify with a brand's personality. this type of marketing is more complex and definitely more conceptual, as opposed to rolling out a product demo video that you might find on the shopping channel. their product photos are also amazing. it's hard to tell, but i believe they're using a mix of 3d rendering and photography. so, all in all, storytelling through photography will not only increase your store's conversion rate, but a customer's loyalty and how they're going to relate to you as a brand. silk willow is a sustainable wedding decor online store. one thing that they do super well is their level of customer service through customized orders. they have a separate page for custom orders, and the form includes space for customers to narrate what they need verbally and visually through the use of inspirational photos. so this solution of digitally intaking potential customers is a great experience for the client, rather than endless emails back and forth.

How To Design A Shopify Store Like a PRO (& Sell More!)

if you don't spend the time and effort on crafting a nicely designed Shopify store, you can forget about making sales with that store, because your store design is something practikally everyone sees before they purchase your product and it's also what they use to navigate to that important checkout page. so in this video i'll go over the exact store design, layout and design essentials you need to know about, with examples, so you're able to skyrocket your shopify sales. so the best way to show you the must-have shopify design essentials to implement in your own store is to just simply show you on screen. so the first store we'll deep dive into is a store called aloe yoga. so getting stuck into it on screen, here i'm gonna go through uh, why the store is great, and a few more examples other than this store. but before we get started, let's quickly check using this wapalyzer tool here that it's actually a shopify store. so you can see here that it is indeed indeed a shopify store and this tool, by the way, highly recommend that you use it and grab it. it's completely free and you can install it as a chrome extension. it gives you a whole load of back-end data on basically any website. so to get started, as you can see, the home page is very clean. it's product centered and below here you can immediately see that they have the instagram social proof and then the best seller alerts. so really simple and clean store. it's a large product catalog so it needs to be as clean as possible, simply because there's so much display here. but i want to show you what they do so well. if you look at their product catalog right here, which is just the yoga mat, you can see that there's a consistency with their product imagery, so they don't have, you know, like, um, like a whole load of different product shots, but it's all the same product shot, but just with different variations in color. so this is something to be really wary of. if you have multiples of products or if you have variants or you have a large product catalog, it's really important that you display these items as clean as possible, and this can be achieved really simply through product imagery. and if we jump into one of these products as an example, the product page is even better in my opinion. so you don't see any product description on the side here, right, you just see the product imagery, the name, the price, the variations and simply add to bag. but if you do need more information about the product, like most of us do, we're likely going to scroll down below, above the fold. so this is where you get the description, the fit, etc. etc. but this is a really, really nice and clean setup of the product page. and what i really like about this store as well is that they include videos within their product images. so you know, this is not a requirement, but as you grow, i think this is something that most stores should look into and it's really easy to implement. on your own shopify store, you can easily upload just a video into the image catalog. i think one of the things that you'll notike really quickly with the examples i'm giving you today is that the product images is a core element of all stores. now i understand like it can be really expensive to take images, get a photographer and get really professional photos. so i want to show you a quick hack, and i've recommended playset many times, but it is so essential for a lot of the stores that i run and the businesses that i run. this is a such a simple way to grab images and mockups and designs without needing to hire out, you know, a studio and a photographer and get it professionally edited, etc. etc. like you can immediately mock up a yoga mat as an example, um, and upload that immediately and it looks superb. so i've just uploaded this logo here as an example. this is our logo and i'm just going to click crop and you can see that it immediately adds onto this yoga mat and you can change the background to be transparent. you can change background to be, you know, green teal, whatever it might be, and this in itself is going to save you so so much time. so place. it is a huge integral part to really quick mock-ups, um, and it doesn't need to be a yoga mat. obviously. they have a whole load of different products that you can mock up. if this is a tool that you're interested in, i'll drop a 15 off code down in the description box below for you to check out. moving on to the next store: now this is chaos. it is an advanced print on demand store. it's pretty straightforward, ridiculously simple and clean. one element that i really appreciate is that they have a floating transparent header on top. so if we scroll down, you see the section up here with their logo and the hamburger menu here. if we scroll down, it's stiky, it follows you, it shows you, you know where you're at: the brand, the cart, the quick search button and the hamburger menu- incredibly simple but important. these things all add up to how to create a really enjoyable uh store experience. the ugc here, which is the user generate generated content, is a big, big part of this store. so under here you can see that they have a almost instagram like feed of different products and also user generated content in this section. it depends on the type of product that you're planning to sell, but ugc is so incredibly important, really easy way to show off your product and create that social proof. big part of this is personalization. it's having your initials on these phone cases. so, um, let's jump into this product here. this is such a simple product page. uh, it's a step, step-by-step process because it is all about customization and print on demand. you select your case size, whether it's a 12 pro max or whatever it might be, your case color, your initials, you type it in and i should update on the fly. i think, yeah. so having a preview and having a mock-up of your product is again so important. i just mentioned this, but it is so, so important. and if you're wondering: how do you get this step-by-step customization process? well, there's a lot of different approaches you can take when it comes to that, but one of the options that i recommend is infinite options, which is a very easy solution where you just install this app and you get a whole bunch of different options that you can customize. there's actually a free way to achieve this if you're a bit adventurous and you want to learn how to code. so this is an example store that i found where they use liquid coding to get all these custom attributes and features in. so if you are experienced with coding, or liquid coding specifically, and you want to save a few dollars every month, then this is a great approach too. i'll probably leave a link on how to achieve that. going back to the store now, you can see it is step-by-step process up the top and really there's nothing distracting you here. it is again just focused on adding to bag. that is it. if you want to read more, there is a waterfall function here where you can see the different details and delivery, returns and whatnot. contrary to popular belief, you don't need a long essay about your product, especially if it's a very simple product like a phone case. there's not all too much to say about it. you don't need to sell it too hard and you know tok about how fancy the materials are and what not. like chances are it's not going to be like. you need to rely on other things like customization, user generate content, marketing off the store. all that good stuff, and really the product page, is to be focused on simply just getting the sale, getting people to add to bag and enjoying that seamless transition from adding to bag to check out and that is it. so moving on to the next option here: nerd wax. this is a great example that i want to show you because we're moving on to a one product store, the one product store.

Shopify Tutorial for Beginners 2022 (FULL Store Setup Guide)

in this shopify tutorial, i'm going to take you through, step by step, how to build a professional shopify store from start to finish. we're going to cover every single step, from signing up to shopify to launching your finished store, ready to sell your products. that includes choosing a theme, customizing your store website, adding products to your store and also important things like setting up your legal pages, your payment providers and your shipping information. i'm also not going to waste your time rambling about things that aren't important and then try to sell you a drop shipping course for 9.97. this video will simply help you getting your shopify store up and running as efficiently as possible, while also learning how to use shopify. so let's get started. so the first step is to go to medicsmediacom forward slash shopify or simply click on the link down below in the video description. this will get you a 14 day free trial for shopify. so do that now and we'll go from there. great. so once we're here, we can simply type in our email address right here and then click on start free trial, and then we also gonna have to set a password for our new shopify account, and down here you can also see the current url of your new shopify store now. you can change that if you want to, but eventually you're going to want to get your own branded domain, something like medicswatchescom anyway, so i wouldn't worry about that too much. and then you can click on create your store. now they want to ask us a couple of questions about our business, which we can actually simply skip right here, and then they ask us for our name and business address, which is actually required in order for us to create a new shopify account. so fill that out right here and then click on enter my store. awesome, so that will take us inside of the shopify dashboard, which is what you're gonna learn how to use in this video. however, we're not gonna cover every single thing here in the shopify dashboard, because a lot of it is self-explanatory and i think the best way to learn everything is to actually start building out your store and then learning by doing learning the features when you actually need them. so i want to dive right into the fun stuff and start building out our store. alright, so the first step is to go ahead and choose a theme for our new online store. so we're going to go to online store here on the left side, then we're going to go to themes, and then we can see that the current theme that is already installed on our online store is the dawn theme. this is the default theme that comes with every new shopify store. now, choosing a theme, you want to make sure that the theme already is kind of the design that you're looking for, the structure of the of the website that you're looking for. so you have a minimal amount of work you have to do until you are ready to launch your store. so what you can do is you can go to actions, click on preview and then you can see how this current theme is actually built up, and then you can decide on if this is actually the right theme for you or if you want to choose a different theme. now, if you want to choose a different theme, you have a couple of different options. so here, when we scroll down, we can see that there are some free themes that we can use that come with the shopify plan, or it can also go to the shopify theme store right here and then also check out paid themes, which you're gonna have to pay for. so what you can do right now is to go through some of these options. i would recommend to first click on explore free themes right here and see if any theme here really fits your brand, your, your kind of store or the products that you want to sell. so eventually, all we have to do then is to add our products, add our branding and add all of our content, and then our store will be ready to go. what i'm gonna do in this video is simply choose one of the free themes right here. so i'm gonna click on explore free themes and i'm actually going to go for the brooklyn theme right here, so i'm going to click on the brooklyn theme. they also have a couple of different styles for each theme, so you can click on different styles and decide on which one you like the most. i'm gonna simply stik to the classic style right here and then i'm gonna click on add to theme library here on the bottom, and then, once the theme has been added, we can see it right here, and in order to actually change from the default theme to the new one we have just added, we need to go to actions right here and then click on publish, then again confirm right here, and now our theme will change to the new theme that we have just added and now we want to start building out our store. so we're going to scroll up again and then we're going to right click on customize and click on add link in a new tab. this way, we still have our shopify dashboard open in the background and we can work on our shopify store in the shopify editor right here at the same time. so now we are in the editor of shopify, which we can use to build out our online store website. so i'm going to give you a quick overview over how this works and then we're going to start to build out our website. so here on the top you can switch from different pages. so right now we are on the home page. you can also switch to your product pages, to your collection pages, blog pages and so on. but most of the work we're gonna do here on the home page and you're gonna see that all the other pages- like product pages, checkout pages- they're already built up for you, so there's not much design that we have to do on these pages. then you can also change from desktop view to mobile view or full screen view. so eventually you want to make sure that your store looks very good on mobile as well, because a lot of the traffic nowadays online comes actually from mobile phones. but however, we're going to build out everything here on the desktop view. then the site is built up in different sections, so it always starts with a header section here on the top and then on all the way in the bottom there's the footer section where you're going to have a couple of links and your legal pages and so on, and in between the header and the footer there are the sections which you can decide what you want to put in here. so by default we have a slideshow section here on the top where you can feature your store or your products, and we also have a menu here on the top which is part of the header. then we have another section, the rich text section. right here we have collection list, we have feature collection and so on. these are all sections that you can add manually and also remove. so, for example, if you want to remove the which, the rich text section, we could simply click on it and then we can click on remove section right here on the bottom. now, depending on what screen size you have, this menu might also display here on the right side for you, but for me it's here on the left side- then you can click on remove section right here and, just like this, this section is now gone from our website. you can also add new sections by clicking on add section here on the bottom left, and then you can decide on what kind of section you want to add. so let's say, we want to add this rich text section. again, we can simply click on which text section, then it will add it here on the bottom and now we can also drag it to another position. so we can drag it here up to maybe below the slideshow, and there we go. we have this section now on our home page again. so let's actually start building, and the way we're going to do it is we're going to simply go from top to bottom and we're going to start with the header. so we're going to click on the header here on the left side and the first thing we're going to do is to add our logo to our store. so i'm going to click on select image right here and then we're going to choose the logo that i have prepared for this specific store. so i'm going to click on upload an image and then i'm going to choose this image right here, which is:
