What I learned after making 60 Real Estate YouTube Videos in 30 Days

00:00:14 00:00:20 actually generating real estate leads
00:00:17 00:00:22 and wasting my time so please do both of

00:00:27 00:00:32 thing that I learned was that I
00:00:29 00:00:34 desperately needed a scalable system I
00:00:32 00:00:36 needed to structure all the videos the
00:00:34 00:00:37 exact same way the only thing that
00:00:36 00:00:40 changed was the cities that I was
00:00:37 00:00:41 covering again my only goal is to
00:00:40 00:00:44 generate real estate leads so I was
00:00:41 00:00:46 covering cities in my area and by having
00:00:44 00:00:49 this same structure my team was now able
00:00:46 00:00:50 to help me with every single video they
00:00:49 00:00:52 knew exactly the images that I wanted
00:00:50 00:00:55 and they also knew the b-roll that I
00:00:52 00:00:57 wanted in all of the videos so they were
00:00:55 00:00:59 able to go out there and get them and
00:00:57 00:01:01 prepare them for me whenever I started
00:00:59 00:01:03 to record so not only did that save me
00:01:01 00:01:05 time on the front end because I only
00:01:03 00:01:07 needed to show up to actually record but
00:01:05 00:01:09 it actually saved our editors a ton of
00:01:07 00:01:10 time because they knew what to expect
00:01:09 00:01:13 and they were able to use everything
00:01:10 00:01:15 that we'd already set up and had teed up
00:01:13 00:01:16 for them in the actual video so they
00:01:15 00:01:19 didn't have to take time away from
00:01:16 00:01:21 editing and go and find what we needed
00:01:19 00:01:23 and we were able to go from making 30
00:01:21 00:01:25 edits after the first draft to making
00:01:23 00:01:28 one to two aesthetik edits after we had
00:01:25 00:01:30 our system down so there was much less
00:01:28 00:01:32 back and forth and again our editing
00:01:30 00:01:34 team saved a lot of time our internal
00:01:32 00:01:36 team saves a lot of time and I also
00:01:34 00:01:38 saved a lot of time in reviewing these
00:01:36 00:01:39 videos now again a huge reminder make
00:01:38 00:01:42 sure to stay to the end where I'm going

00:01:44 00:01:48 that I learned was that I needed to
00:01:45 00:01:50 perfect the first 30 seconds now I knew
00:01:48 00:01:53 how important the first 30 seconds were

00:01:53 00:01:58 knew that it was very important that I
00:01:55 00:01:59 had the first 30 seconds right but very
00:01:58 00:02:02 rarely even after thousands of video
00:01:59 00:02:04 deals would I go back to the analytiks
00:02:02 00:02:06 and see exactly how I was doing because
00:02:04 00:02:08 by industry standard after the first 30
00:02:06 00:02:11 seconds you need to have at least a 70
00:02:08 00:02:14 retention rate so I want to show you one
00:02:11 00:02:17 video that achieved that 70 retention
00:02:14 00:02:19 rate by a mile and I also want to show
00:02:17 00:02:21 you another video that didn't achieve
00:02:19 00:02:24 the 70 retention rate within the first
00:02:21 00:02:26 30 seconds by a mile as well Keller

00:02:46 00:02:51 this opportunity to discover Bedford and
00:02:49 00:02:53 see what one of the most affordable
00:02:51 00:02:55 cities in the entire Metroplex is all
00:02:53 00:02:57 about now without telling you which one
00:02:55 00:03:00 is which which one of the videos would
00:02:57 00:03:02 you have guessed had a higher than 70
00:03:00 00:03:04 retention rate after the first 30
00:03:02 00:03:07 seconds well if you guessed the first
00:03:04 00:03:09 one then you'd be absolutely correct
00:03:07 00:03:11 because it's much faster Pace I show you
00:03:09 00:03:13 rather than tell you and we just get
00:03:11 00:03:15 right into it now thankfully the way
00:03:13 00:03:17 that we created our videos was produce
00:03:15 00:03:20 all of these videos ahead of time we
00:03:17 00:03:22 produced about 10 to 12 videos ahead of
00:03:20 00:03:24 time and then we waited for some metrics
00:03:22 00:03:27 to come in and then we batched another
00:03:24 00:03:29 10 to 12 videos so we were able to make
00:03:27 00:03:31 that adjustment on the next batch and
00:03:29 00:03:34 the batches after that but this was all
00:03:31 00:03:36 made much simpler because we had a
00:03:34 00:03:38 structured system we had a scalable
00:03:36 00:03:40 system that we were just repeating one
00:03:38 00:03:42 after another so we were just able to
00:03:40 00:03:43 make that one adjustment and keep going
00:03:42 00:03:45 but before we go any further I want to

00:04:23 00:04:27 realization because you see at the end
00:04:25 00:04:29 of all of the videos I give two
00:04:27 00:04:32 recommendations for additional cities
00:04:29 00:04:34 that The viewer needs to check out so as
00:04:32 00:04:36 an example in that video I might be
00:04:34 00:04:38 covering everything about Dallas but at
00:04:36 00:04:40 the end I would actually give a
00:04:38 00:04:42 recommendation on two comparable cities
00:04:40 00:04:44 and what I notiked was that in most of
00:04:42 00:04:47 those videos there's actually a spike up
00:04:44 00:04:50 in viewer retention when I got right to
00:04:47 00:04:52 that part of the video so these cost to
00:04:50 00:04:55 action were important not only were they
00:04:52 00:04:57 giving me more watch Time by going out
00:04:55 00:04:59 and checking out those videos but they
00:04:57 00:05:01 actually generated comments and allowed
00:04:59 00:05:03 me to have a conversation with them and
00:05:01 00:05:06 ultimately have them reach out to me
00:05:03 00:05:08 directly and start working with them as
00:05:06 00:05:09 a real estate agent so if you've been
