Amazon Dropshipping in 2021 (EXPLAINED)

[Music]. what's going on everybody? welcome to my channel. my name is kevin pack. in today's video we're going to be toking about amazon drop shipping and what it is, and is it something that i would personally do. so a little background by myself. i am a multiple six figure amazon seller, but i specialize in private label, meaning that i brand products that are already existing and i sell those. now amazon drop shipping is different. you actually don't hold any inventory, you're not brand anything, you're just selling existing products. you're kind of like a middle man in between amazon and your supplier, in a way- right versus private label. you hold inventory yourself and then you send it off to amazon as well. now the thing with this is drop shipping. the way it works is you create a product listing on amazon and whatever customer buys when they buy from your listing, then you're going to contact your supplier and they will send it out to the customer directly for you. that's how drop shipping works, and there's a lot of pros and cons to this number one. the biggest thing is that there's not a lot of upfront costs because you don't have to hold inventory. so, versus for me, i have to pay for the inventory up front and then they send it to amazon. but here you don't have to pay for any inventory. you're just kind of directing and leading everybody to make the purchases and send the inventory, whatever the case may be. this is typically how they do. it is, they will contact drop shipping suppliers from alibaba or ali express or walmart or anything like that and they will send that into amazon and then that's how they make the purchase. all right. so basically the customer is actually buying from walmart or alibaba or aliexpress and not directly from amazon. that's basically how drop shipping works. now the problem is that the reason why i would not do this business model is because that's against terms of service. now you are allowed to drop ship, but you have to do it from a legitimate wholesale supplier. that's different. you cannot do drop shipping from another marketplace like aliexpress, alibaba or walmart or target or whatever, because they are retailers. they are not wholesalers. that's a big difference. now most drop shipping businesses they use retailers because they have better margins. they have better profit margins. if you go from a wholesaler, your margins are going to be very, very slim. that's actually against term service. amazon does not want you to do that and that's one of the biggest problems with drop shipping and why i wouldn't do it is because i don't want my account to be suspended. i don't want to lose my privileges of selling on amazon. i'm already doing really, really well. i don't want to risk that. so that's one of the biggest reasons is that it's against terms of service and the profit margins aren't too great. from what i've heard that people are usually getting about 10 profit margins after everything from amazon versus for me when i do private label, i get like 30 to 35 profit margins. big difference there, three times as much profit doing that. personally, on my preference, i would not do drop shipping. it's not really my cup of tea if i would say: and i want to build a sustainable business, that i want to exit in the future and sell off, and with drop shipping you can't do that because you're not building your own brand, you are building something that's kind of like fast money in a way. so i don't want to make fast money, i want to make sustainable, long-term big money. that's what i want to do and that's why i advise people don't get into drop shipping. if you're going to start off in a business, i think amazon fba is a great way to start your fundamentals of learning how to do a business, because that's the basis of how any business is. you know, like, for example, this laptop, basically kind of a private label item, because you see a bunch of different laptops but there's a bunch of different brands. so basically, even though not everyone has the same laptop, it's still a laptop, but there's a bunch of different brands over it. that's how apple's looks successful. you know dell, other companies- they are creating private label products, they're improving it and making their own, and that's basically what i do and i want to be able to do that for the long term and and sell that business off in the future, if i want to right. but you can't do that with drop shipping. it's just fast turnover money and it's not very sustainable as well, and also you could risk getting your account banned. i don't think anybody wants to risk that. i know i would not want to do that. that is basically my opinion on amazon drop shipping. so i really advise you guys, do you do diligence, do your research. there is money to be made on drop shipping- uh, amazon- but you need to make sure you do it the right way and i would not advise doing it the illegal way, because you are Amazon Dropshipping in 2022: A Step-by-Step Guide For Beginners

hey guys, mike fasil. here and in this video we're toking about how to make money with amazon drop shipping and how beginners earning 100 to 700 a day in profit- more that after the intro. hey guys, how's it going? my name is like facial. welcome to this video. before we actually begin to remind you that several spots have opened up for this week's free workshop, it's the fastest and easiest way to make money online. sign up for it in the link below. we literally have a 62 year old woman go from zero to 160 000 in profit in 90 days, so check it out now. so i first heard about amazon drop shipping when i was first stuck in a place where i wanted more freedom in my life. you know we were struggling with that. my parents had no idea to help me pay for the college student loan debt and i was just struggling to find a way to finally get more money. so i didn't have to feel sick and tired of being stuck financially in my life and feeling like a complete loser. and that's exactly when i found out exactly what amazon drop shipping is. what amazon drop shipping is is a form of drop shipping where, essentially, you get to sell products that you do not have to store or s or create yourself, for example. here's exactly how it works, right, you have a store, you have a supplier and you have a customer. right for most times when people go ahead and make money- especially what i thought back in the day- i thought i had to buy thousands of products and store it in my own warehouse and go ahead and ship it to people to go ahead and make money- that is no longer the case. how drop shipping works is you have like a virtual online customer. come to your online store and then on the store they pay something, for example, for two hundred dollars. right from the two hundred dollars, you go to the supplier and you buy it with the customers money for a hundred and fifty dollars. the supplier then ships it to the customer, while you keep 50 for the profit. so that's essentially what the higher level of drop shipping is, and the benefits of that is you don't need any inventory. there's very, very low startup costs. you can do this with no money, no experience whatsoever. you can do this from anywhere in the world and it's a good way to start making some extra passive income on the side, because you're not dealing with a lot of the logistikal nightmare when it comes to buying a bunch of products from china and shipping it out yourself. right, the cons are the profit margins could be a lot lower because there's literally so many middlemen in the way, and it could be a little bit more difficult getting started right away. but i want to go and demonstrate everything and give you guys the best way to get started moving forward. so the first one- to make money with amazon drop shipping- is by just selling merchandise. now the beauty about this is you could just upload designs onto this platform, which is called merch by amazon, and then you list whatever price you want to go ahead and sell it to. then, when people- someone goes to amazon types in: oh i want to buy cat t-shirt for women. the craziest thing is your design can literally go ahead and pop up and you can charge it for like 19 bucks. and what happens? if someone buys through your listing, you will get paid a royalty from it. now the beauty about is you have no startup costs. you literally have no problem whatsoever other than finding the designs that are gonna go ahead and actually make money on here. this is a really good form of drop shipping because it's the lowest risk possible. now, what i like doing when i was doing the print on demand method, i would like going on pinterest and, for example, typing in on all pins, cat t-shirts- right, and what this essentially tells me is pinterest is telling me who is actually saving these t-shirts on their social medias so that they want to buy it later. so all you can see, these are some ideas that are doing really really well right now, and what i'll do is just screenshot a bunch of these on pinterest and then, once i know exactly what designs could go ahead and work, i could come in here, go to graphic designer in upwork and i could send them all these files. now the craziest thing about this is, you know, it's very like easy to make. some of these designs like this thing right here could literally take five minutes to go ahead and create, and once you have a bunch of design ideas, if you scroll down here and type in philippines, where a lot of people get like help from in terms of freelancers, and you go to hourly rate, you could get people to work for you for literally ten dollars an hour. now, in that hour they can make you know a lot of designs for you that you can essentially upload on merch by amazon and put it on to amazon and if anyone ever buys from here, you would make money from that. now your biggest thing is really two things: the designs that you know will work, based off of what works from other social media platforms like pinterest, and the title. what are people actually searching for? right, because you can come in here and find, you know, a very nice niche or audience that not a lot of people are targeting right. one thing that you could go ahead and do is: i just notiked that there was this thing that was like. it was like funny. i think it was like cat t-shirts for men, funny, right. so i'm gonna go ahead and click on that and you can see that there are some really popular t-shirts that are getting a bunch of, you know, reviews and all you really got to do is just upload the design on here. it costs nothing to go ahead and get started, which is what makes it so beautiful. the second way to make money with amazon drop shipping is using amazon as a supplier. so back in the day i remember i was like like finding rv vent replacement covers and i would actually use this and get these for like very, very cheap, like, uh, i think down here the price of these would be like 12- this thing right here, right, and then i would go to ebay and go ahead and sell it as terms of like the marketing. so people come in here and type in rv event replacement and what happens is they go ahead and buy certain things like, for example, 50 bucks- like this thing right here to replace the hood of their rv, right, well, the thing about this: if people are selling this for 50 bucks here and your cost in amazon is only 12, you can see this. this is literally like the exact same thing. you could literally take the image and you know the description on here, and exactly what i would do is i'll create a listing on ebay and try ranking for certain keywords: right, rv event replacement, motorhome ventilation outlet, like. i would just start putting all these keywords that are already working. i would do, like: rv vent replacement, lid camper, trailer, outdoors camper, van replacement kit, like. it sounds ridiculous, but this is exactly what people are searching for, right? one thing that actually helps also is if you what, whatever you type in on um ebay, what happens is sometimes they give you these related keywords. these are what people are searching for, right? so you need to go ahead and put those into your title, because that you know exactly how to sell and then, when you get a sale on ebay based off of the title and the image that you just copied on amazon, you literally take the customer's information and the customer's money and you buy from amazon and ship it to them literally with this method. this is what allowed me to start getting a hundred dollars a day profit as a broke college student that was living off of the dollar menu diet and the taco bell diet and the dollar menu. i already said that, right, i literally had no money and this was the method that first got me an extra hundred dollars a day profit to finally start investing in other crazy ideas. that got me to two hundred dollars a day profit, then five hundred dollars a day profit, and sometimes they profit, and so on and so forth. but, as you can see, anyone can do this right. for example, i can do the exact same thing: outdoor patio furniture- right. i'm gonna go ahead and type that in.

I Tried Dropshipping on Amazon For a Week (Complete Beginner)

so in this video, I'm gonna be taking you through my experience of drop shipping on Amazon for a whole week. I'm gonna be completely transparent. in this video, I'm only showing exactly what I have listed, exactly how much I got it for and how much money I make. [Music]. let me start by saying, just as this game, all the things expressed in this video, of my own opinion. they could or might not be correct. I might be completely wrong. this is just my opinion and my experience of what I've done, so make sure that you take that with a grain of sand. what the actual hell. as a kid, I used to buy things and sell them on eBay for a profit and flip them just to make a couple of pounds here and there. well, I had come across a different model, the dropship in model. and for you, those who don't know what the dropship in modeler is exactly, you basically list products online that you find from suppliers just like your local grocery stores, like Walmart, Best Buy and things like that. you list it directly on that website and when someone buys that, you go to the supplier, you enter in their details and you get it sent directly to them. so you never actually house the inventory, you never even see it. basically, you act as a middleman. you just list it on there and when it sells, you buy it and you keep the spread of the difference between your sale price and what you actually boy for. so the first thing I had to do- because I had no clue how to do it- was to do some research. so I started youtubing videos. I ended up watching hours and hours and hours of content, but the craziest thing is that they never showed me how to actually do it. they toked about: are you gonna find the products and you have to list them, and then you make the money this way, but they never show you if you know is how to actually do them. so I was kind of confused. I thought about buying a couple of courses but saw the ones that like a thousand dollars. eventually I sell for one that was two hundred ninety seven dollars and I bought that. so right from the get-go I was down two hundred ninety seven dollars in costs. the next thing I needed to do was separate Amazon seller account, which cost another $39.99. so at this point, you know, I was nearly three hundred dollars hurried down into this experiment. but that was fine because I was hopeful that I would make money in doing this. so after a couple of hours of watching this course, I think it exactly how to do everything. it still seemed a bit iffy. a few things kind of just didn't make sense, but I was just gonna go and jump in for it. so the first thing I needed to do was find products and list them on Amazon. so back in my eBay days it was pretty easy to find items that you could probably sell profitably on eBay. this was not the case for Amazon. as I soon found out, it took a lot longer to find products that you could actually make money on. you actually have to do a lot, of, lot of research, and this includes the first step of finding items that are not in Prime. you can do this, I found out, by downloading a google extension called primal way or various different other ones. so once you download that, you can go straight on to the Amazon page and you can find items that are not prime sellers. the next thing is to go through and figure out which ones are not sold by FBA or by Amazon either, because you do not want to compete with them. always you could be facing possible suspensions and you probably won't get honestly, even make probably a profit on it, because you can't compete with people and FBA, you see, on margins. so after about three hours I finally came across my first product, the first product that I could make money off. I think it was around three dollars and 23 cents. and what did I find? I found a Swiffer, a special type of Swiffer that I could make some money on. so I listed that straightway, hopeful that I would make some sales on that. so waiting for my money to come in. problem was by Devin- I had only listed one product- this was taking away than I ever thought it- and eBay. it was fairly straightforward: you could just find sellers that already selling good products, find out where that is and then list that too and compete with them. Amazon not as easy. de - I did a lot more research in. I researched for another couple hours- find products that could make on. I kept switching between different categories to see if that would help. still took a long time, and I think that's just the nature of the game. this one, in this business model. you don't look for, I guess, a you know quantity, you look for quality, and that's the name of the game. so by the end of day 2 I had found another two products that I could sell. it was a stepladder and of coffee machine. the craziest thing here, which I didn't think would actually work, is that the coffee machine that I found online and that I actually found later and warmer, I could get an $18 profit margin on it. so for me, I thought that there must be something wrong with it. probably won't sell, but let's just list it in case, because I've been so for three hours now. I'm so done. so let's just list this and get this going. so day three comes up. I wake up in the morning, check my emails and I made a bunch of cells. I can't believe it. I mean three hundred and eleven dollars and cells in one night. and guess what? the Swiffer was doing me right, because I had sold that thing over five times and it was making me money already five times. I already made fifteen dollars just by sleeping overnight. so I started searching again. I saw looking up different items, and guess what? I found another two items that I could list and make money on. one was some sort of like weird tube piping for washing machines and the other one was this filter that you could put in your AC unit. so in each of those I can make a couple of dollars profit and I thought it would be good, and then I would be on my way to being a six-figure Amazon seller. day four. so I started picking up by crazy. I started getting emails and emails and emails that these things were just selling, and the best thing that happened was the coffee machine was selling. I was making $18 profit per copy machine and the thing was just selling like crazy, just kept selling and selling. I honestly had to mute my email. so I kept making so many sells. I thought, wow, this is great, nothing can go wrong. this is where it happened, my first big mistake. so

Easiest Way To Start Amazon FBA From Scratch! (Exactly what i did)

- Trying to start Amazon FBA (soft music) can be overwhelming. With so many steps and methods, it's even hard to know where to start. So in this video, I'm gonna share my exact method to start selling on Amazon from scratch. Using this exact method, I built a six figure Amazon store in less than a year, with no marketing or even creating my own product. So if I were starting all over today, this is exactly what I would do. Firstly, I'm gonna hop onto my laptop to show you guys the six figure store which I built in less than a year. So, as you can see, right now it's 105,000 pounds in total sales And it started since January 2021 till currently, which is January 2022.. The profit on this store was around 30%, which equals to around 30,000 pounds in just less than one year And in dollars, is around $40,000.. I'm showing this because I just wanted to prove this to you- that this method works and it's worth your time. So there are four things that goes into building a successful Amazon FBA business. The first one is your product, the second is your analysis, the third is your supplier, and forth is scaling your business. Now I'm going to break down each of these one by one as simple as possible. so let's get started with finding the product. Without good products, it's pretty much impossible to have success on Amazon FBA, but thankfully, there are thousands of new products being added on to Amazon every single day, so the opportunities are always going to be there When looking for a product. there are three types of products on Amazon. The first one is an arbitrage product. These products you can buy from a supermarket near you and resell it on Amazon for a profit. Here's a live example of a arbitrage product. I can buy this Yankee Candle for six pound 50 and we sell it on Amazon for 14 pound 50. Now if I was to do the math, I would probably make in. let's just quickly check and analyze how much profit I would be making on this product. I can make three pounds after the taxes- around two pound 50 on this exact product. So if I sold it 100 times in a month, that will be 250 pounds profit. The second type of product you can sell an Amazon is wholesale product. Let me show you a live example of a wholesale product. This product right here sales for one pound 69,, but if you order more than six quantity it will be one pound 62. Now you can sell this in a pack of six on Amazon for 11 pounds and 95 pence. You can do the math for this one and you can see how there's so much profit in here as well. And the third type of product is a private label product. This is when you go on websites like Alibaba and look for a product and just stik your logo on it and you start selling it. For example, this one right here. This product is being sold for 1499, and you can probably get the exact same product from Alibaba for around $1, and you can see the profit margin there. However, with private label, you have to create your own product, you have to do marketing, and that's the reason why I don't do it, because there's a lot of costs related to this. And this is why wholesale and arbitrage is the best, because you don't create a listing. you don't do any marketing, you don't spend a lot of money. you can simply buy a product and start selling it instantly. You can use existing listing with other sellers and simply start making money selling the same product. I've sold these two types of products since I started my FBA journey and I have found success over and over again. The next thing you look into a product is the product category. Now when you do Amazon arbitrage or Amazon wholesale, you don't need to care about what category is the product in, because on Amazon, every single category is just sell. You don't wanna sell products from a specific niche and miss out on the opportunities from thousands of other niches on Amazon. The whole goal is to have more products so that you can make more money on Amazon. The last thing I look for in a product is good profit margins. What I consider it to be a good profit margin is to be able to make at least 30% more than you have spent. So, in simple, make 30% return on your investment. You can calculate the ROI for any product using a normal ROI calculator. Now I have shared one in my private club, which you can join as well, but more on that later. Here's an example of how it works. If I'm spending five pounds on a product, then I want at least 30% return on that five pounds, which will be five pound- my initial investment, plus one pound 50, which is the 30% of five pounds, which will equal to seven pound 50 in total. Now, this is pretty much everything I look into a good product. This product right here is an example of a decent product, because you can buy this product from a supermarket like Asda. for me, It has good ROI, as you can see, more than 30%, and you can see that the category for this product doesn't really matter, because it's in Homes and Kitchen and, to be honest, even if it was in another category, it would have not mattered. Now, the way you can make sure that this product is not a private label product is by simply looking for something called a buy box for this product. So, as you can see, this product right here listing has seven new sellers on this, or seven sellers are selling this exact product, Whereas this product right here does not have something called a buy box or other sellers selling this exact same product. That's basically how you make sure a product is not a private label product, The simplest way you can find products like these are: simply go to the clearance section on websites of your local supermarket and just look at all the products, As you can see all of these own sale. If you just search up the name on Amazon, you'll probably see that you can make a bit of profit and just buy off and sell it. Similarly, you can go to a wholesaler and look for a product, search it up on Amazon And if you're making any profit then then you go. you found a product for yourself. However, sometimes looking for a product can be long and time consuming. (object clattering). So that is the reason why I'm building a tool to help you with that. (children cheering). Now, before I move on to step two, I just wanna say that it will take time for you to become good at finding these products. So keep doing product research and you'll become good at it. Step two is doing the product analysis to make sure if the product you have found is actually good or not. You will come across so many good looking products, but when you actually do the analysis, you will find out that they don't even sell. This is the reason why doing your analysis is super important. As soon as I find a product on Amazon, the first thing I look for is a BSR, which is the best sellers rank. You can find that under product information, which is right here, And, as you can see, this product has 86,191 BSR, which is the best sellers rank. What I found from my experience is that the best products are usually under 100,000 BSR. 100,000 best sellers rank. The lower the BSR, the more the product is selling. So the first thing you would wanna make sure when looking for a product is a good BSR. The second thing you would wanna look for is something lightweight, because on Amazon, the heavier the product, the more fees Amazon will charge you. as well as you delivery costs also goes up. you know what, despite the several successful dropshipping case studies on this channel, i still occasionally get people leaving comments like drop shipping is dead, if it was ever properly alive to begin with. increasing e packet rate- it literally kills drop shipping. it's too late for this business. most businesses fail. i will never waste my time and money trying to start a business ever again, and if you're smart, you'll do the same thing. hmm, yeah, well, okay, obviously, i strongly disagree with those comments, because here's the thing: a lot of people will say things like drop shipping is dead or it's too late, or businesses don't work, and the reason why they're saying these things is because they are making several assumptions that are all wrong, and so, if you are looking to start a store, it's crucial, then, that you understand what these assumptions are before you start drop shipping so that, unlike these people, your store can be successful, because, no, it is not too late. one people won't buy from you. they'll just buy from amazon instead. but wait, sarah, you ask: why would anyone buy products from me if they can buy products directly from amazon themselves? now, it is absolutely true that if you head on over to amazon, that you will find lots of products that can be purchased directly from aliexpress, sitting on amazon's digital shelf as well. and, of course, if customers were to purchase your products on amazon, they would then get to take advantage of their prime two-day shipping. so how on earth could drop shippers successfully dropship these guitar coffee spoons with two to three week shipping via china's cheapest, fastest shipping option- a packet, when a customer could come and buy them on amazon with two-day shipping? i mean, come on, sarah, just think about it. amazon is only growing. in q3 2019, their product sales were up over 17 from the same time in 2018.. won't amazon steal away all of our sales? no, no, they will not. you see, here's the thing. there is some truth to these comments. amazon is arguably the better deal for usa citizens. it is better for the consumer to purchase the products on amazon. so if they figure out that the product that you are selling them is indeed on amazon for purchase, you can bet that amazon will take that sale away from you. but you know what? we literally don't care. and you know what? drop shippers never have the sorts of people who see a product and decide that they're going to research the absolute best deal, for it were never our customers in the first place. nope, it's the 44 of people that impulsively purchase products online that we are targeting and, of course, as shown by how millennials are even more prone to impulsive purchases, with 80 of them impulsively buying products, the overall percentage of impulse e-commerce purchases for us to target as drop shippers is only growing and growing. you see, successful drop shipping stores are built around that target customer, the type of customer that enjoys impulsively purchasing products. it also means that the successful drop shipping stores are usually built around selling products that spike an emotion in a customer that makes them think: i need to buy this right now. it's why this aliexpress dog caller has made hundreds of thousands of dollars. the advertising dropshippers used spike fear and dog owners pointing out how many dogs dying in car accidents each year from not being seen. that is why, when recently, i saw this comment from this viewer asking why their online store wasn't successful, i pretty much instantly knew that the store would be selling extremely boring products. and lo and behold, i was right. now, of course, this is actually a print on demand store, not a drop shipping store, but the exact same principle applies. why would somebody want to buy this hoodie when they can go to amazon and find cheaper hoodies and shirts with inspirational messages on there, because here is the reality. typing vision in a plain white circle is not exciting. so let's compare this hoodie to this hoodie. what is the difference between the two? well, the difference is that one hoodie is very boring and the other is extremely interesting, unique and unlike anything people are likely to have seen before, which is why this hoodie's facebook advertising campaign made so much money for the successful aliexpress dropshipping store. freaky pet. and, of course, if you're ever wondering, this exact same answer applies to the people that ask the question: why would customers not go directly to aliexpress themselves? well, again, it's because good aliexpress drop shippers sell products that trigger emotions on people and get them to impulsively buy their products, so that they never even think to go check if a product is on aliexpress, because they see and go. that's so amazing. i must buy one now. and, by the way, if you've learned something from this video and you would like to learn even more about starting a successful drop shipping store, then be sure to subscribe and click that little notification bell next to it so that you don't miss out on any of our videos. two, dropshipping is a scam. i just want to quickly address this because these comments are really dumb. you know, you might have notiked that earlier in this video i freely admitted that it would be a fast, superior financial choice for a customer to buy this hoodie on amazon with two day shipping for a fraction of the price compared to what they would pay for it on freaky pet. and so what do people say to that? oh, the customer can get it cheaper, elsewhere, quicker. that makes your store a scam. nope, it does not. number one: if it weren't for your facebook ad, the customer would never have known about that product that they really enjoyed getting in the first place. people really love this hoodie and we're really grateful that it was advertised to them and they bought it. you had to pay for that advertising to do that, which you pass on to the customer. amazon doesn't advertise products. customers have to find them themselves. and number two, as an entrepreneur, you are in no way obligated to offer your product for the lowest price. here are two coffee shops around the corner from my apartment. they are across the road from each other. i walked into coffee shop a and bought my favorite coffee, a long black, for three dollars- and yes, i know that overseas the phrase long black might conjure up some different thoughts, but here in new zealand, and over in australia too, a long black simply refers to pouring an espresso shot over 100 to 120 mls of boiling water to create a stronger version of an americano with creamer. next i went into coffee shop b and again order long black, but this time it cost four dollars- completely different prices for an extremely similar product. and you know what? coffee shop a's three dollar coffee was the best. would you say that coffee shop b is a scam for charging a higher price for a worse version of this coffee? no, you would not. pricing is entirely subjective and is actually determined by the customer, not you. you present the customer with the price and it is up to them to decide if that price is worth it or not. and at the end of the day, if freaky pet are able to create a marketing campaign that gets people to purchase their hoodie for a higher price while being entirely upfront about the shipping times, then they 100 deserve that sale. 3. drop shipping is saturated. perhaps the most bizarre of all the claims is that drop shipping is dead and it's over since. well, it's saturated. and the truth is when i see comments like this, it blows my mind, because this comment literally makes no sense. here is what market saturation literally is. it's when a product has been maximized in a market, in other words, when all of the people who would want that product have bought it already. and here is what drop shipping is. drop shipping is when a customer buys a product that you've listed in your store for a markup price. when they do, you go to the manufacturer and you purchase that one product for the wholesale price and then have the

How To Start Amazon Dropshipping As A Beginner in 2023

years now and i easily hit over 5 000 to 10 000 profit a month on amazon, depending on how much effort i'm putting into it every single month. i've notiked over time with teaching amazon drop shipping that a lot of people get confused as to what to do and also think that amazon is this big bad wolf that's going to come out there. ban your account if you don't know what you're doing. oh, this could be true. i do want to put some nerves at ease, because a lot of beginners are overly cautious and overly worried about amazon, when in reality, i do think a lot of it is to do with just people over hyping how bad amazon really is, and this in no way, shape or form means that you should go out there and just have no idea what you're doing when you're getting started. so that's why i put together this video for you. so be sure to watch it all the way until the end, because i'm going to show you every single thing that i do with my amazon drop shipping business: how to get started as a beginner, and how you can also do so as well. i'll see you inside my computer, all right. so the number one step that you need to follow is actually just opening up an amazon account. although it's pretty easy to do, it's not as easy as starting something like an ebay account, so you do need to put some time and effort into it. i also do have a video linked up above that i can share with you guys on how to get started. i've made that whole video for you already, but you have to realize that every so often, every few months, amazon does change the way that you sign up for an account, and i can't keep a constant video up to date on to how to do so. so you do want to come to the amazon, become a seller website right here, and you just want to click sign up. after you click sign up, you want to make sure that you're signing up for a professional account. yes, a professional account does cost 39.99 a month, but you must realize that in order to actually get the buy box- which is something we will tok about in a bit- you will need to have a professional account no matter what. so if you sign up as an individual seller first off, if you sell more than 40 items in the first month, you literally are losing money compared to having a professional account. this is because individual sellers get hit with an extra one dollar fee on every single transaction, when professional sellers do not actually get that fee. so you want to sign up. you don't need to have a business, you don't need to have an llc. you can sign up as an individual or just as a human being. but one thing to realize is that the more legitimate you are when you first get started. you will really benefit from it later on down the road. so if you actually have an llc, a business bank account, a business location and everything like that business phone number, it's much easier to get started and it's going to help you out. so you don't have to change things later on down the road if you become more legitimate in your business. so all you have to do is go ahead and sign up, and after you sign up and have an account, we'll go over the next steps that you need to take. all right, so an optional second step that you might want to take is something that people call seasoning your amazon account. so when you first start an amazon account, one of the hardest things to do is actually get that account off the ground. amazon will sometimes hit you with some form of a suspension, saying that your items are illegitimate or anything like that, even though they really aren't, and that's just really trying to stop bad sellers from frauding people right off the beginning and also just trying to clean up their marketplace and their act a little bit. one of the things that a lot of professionals- and, you know, actual coaches of amazon drop shipping- teach is to season your amazon account. this means starting with amazon fba. if you're buying the items in bulk up front and there's no way that you could have been selling illegitimate products to begin with- although they could still hit you with some form of illegitimate error or something like that- it's very rare that it will happen. there's tons of videos on youtube on how to actually do this. i don't actually have any at the moment, but i do plan on putting some up, because i do do amazon fba at the moment, but i just got started with it, so there's tons of videos out there. all you need to do is usually go to a local walmart or a retail chain store or something like that, go find items in the clearance section or something like that that you know you can make money off of based off amazon's price, and that's the only way that you can get prime buy, or one of the only ways you can get primed by amazon on your listing. from there, you're going to buy some items in bulk and ship them into the amazon warehouses yourself. at that point in time, it's a lot easier to get your account started that way. from there, amazon will see you as a more legitimate seller to get started and then you'll actually be allowed to get started with drop shipping a lot quicker. i personally did not do this, but as amazon gets more strict as time goes on, i do suggest starting and seasoning your account for at least close to a couple weeks to a month. at least maybe get a couple batches into amazon fba. the next step in this process is finding the correct software for the job. although there's tons of different software that you can use for little things here and there, the two main biggest softwares that you need and are going to be the backbone of your business are a stok, an inventory type tool and also a repricing type tool. so first off, the repricing tool is going to price your items after it's given items from your stok and inventory tool. so web scraper app and sku grid are both stok and inventory tools. they're going to check from your suppliers that you've chosen to see if the item's still in stok, what its handling time is, does it fit your metrics and what you want to be doing, and then it's going to send that information to your repricing tool. repricing tool that almost everybody uses is inform dot co. it's very great and it toks with both of these programs: web scraper app and sku grid. i personally use both, but you don't have to use both. you can use one or the other, but the main reason to pick one over the other is mainly because of the suppliers. so if you can see the suppliers on web scraper app, you do have to sign up, i believe, in order to see their suppliers. they cover about 90 different suppliers at the moment, i believe. last i checked- and skew grid itself has a lot more suppliers, but it is a little bit harder to get started and set up than webscraper app. i would say both are great software. skewgrid's cheaper, has more suppliers and is harder to set up. web scraper app is more expensive, has less suppliers and easier to set up. so that's pretty much it. from there, you connect them into inform, which there's a bunch of videos on it, and i have some videos inside of my actual amazon drop shipping course on how to do it- and then you want to be picking actual suppliers. so the number one thing that i can say, besides setting up your account, possibly seasoning it and other things like this, are that you should be looking out and not using the wrong supplier.
