00:00:41 00:00:44 that you need to ask yourself because at
00:00:42 00:00:46 the end of the day the topics and
00:00:44 00:00:47 content that you put out are the types
00:00:46 00:00:48 of clients that are going to be
00:00:47 00:00:51 attracted to you so if you're looking
00:00:48 00:00:53 for buyers make content that appeals to
00:00:51 00:00:54 buyers whether you're targeting
00:00:53 00:00:56 first-time home buyers whether you're
00:00:54 00:00:58 targeting those move-up buyers or any
00:00:56 00:01:00 type of buyers that you're looking to
00:00:58 00:01:01 work with help them out create content
00:01:00 00:01:03 for them now if you're looking for
00:01:01 00:01:05 sellers make content that appeals to
00:01:03 00:01:07 homeowners people that actually own a
00:01:05 00:01:08 home already now once you decide whether
00:01:07 00:01:10 you're going to target buyers or sellers
00:01:08 00:01:12 now is the time to determine if you're
00:01:10 00:01:14 going to make national content or local
00:01:12 00:01:16 content are you going to focus more on
00:01:14 00:01:18 the national conversation on the
00:01:16 00:01:19 national real estate scene or are you

00:01:26 00:01:30 current landscape in other words what
00:01:28 00:01:32 are your real estate agent peers doing
00:01:30 00:01:34 that are having success on youtube right
00:01:32 00:01:36 now because at the end of the day
00:01:34 00:01:38 success leaves clues and there's a lot
00:01:36 00:01:40 of real estate agents that are presently
00:01:38 00:01:42 having success with youtube today now
00:01:40 00:01:45 i've been coaching agents on youtube
00:01:42 00:01:46 since 2018 so i've been really speaking
00:01:45 00:01:48 about youtube for the longest time and
00:01:46 00:01:50 i've seen the transformation of the
00:01:48 00:01:53 limited amount of people that were
00:01:50 00:01:55 leveraging youtube in 2018 to fast
00:01:53 00:01:57 forwarding to present day while there's
00:01:55 00:02:00 a lot more right now at this point in
00:01:57 00:02:01 time there's still a huge opportunity
00:02:00 00:02:03 for you especially if you follow this
00:02:01 00:02:05 blueprint because every other day we're
00:02:03 00:02:07 launching youtube channels successfully
00:02:05 00:02:09 and seeing leads within days and as you
00:02:07 00:02:11 inventory the current landscape take
00:02:09 00:02:13 note of the types of videos that are
00:02:11 00:02:15 being created take note of the style
00:02:13 00:02:17 take note of the topics take note of
00:02:15 00:02:19 what is actually being created by your
00:02:17 00:02:22 peers right now now we do this not with
00:02:19 00:02:25 the intent to copy that's far from it
00:02:22 00:02:27 you're doing this to be aware of what

00:02:27 00:02:30 doing this to tear down any limiting

00:02:32 00:02:36 progression of other real estate agents
00:02:34 00:02:38 you get to learn by proxy you see the
00:02:36 00:02:39 videos that worked out well for the
00:02:38 00:02:41 channel you also get to read the
00:02:39 00:02:43 comments of those videos so you get to
00:02:41 00:02:45 take notes on all of this so this is the
00:02:43 00:02:47 cheat code to your youtube career this
00:02:45 00:02:49 is how you accelerate your learning
00:02:47 00:02:51 curve by a mile now you take an
00:02:49 00:02:53 inventory of the youtube landscape is
00:02:51 00:02:55 extremely important however what's going
00:02:53 00:02:58 to be even more important is you taking
00:02:55 00:03:00 the current inventory of your clients
00:02:58 00:03:02 what are your past clients present
00:03:00 00:03:04 clients and future clients aka leads
00:03:02 00:03:06 asking for are they asking you questions
00:03:04 00:03:07 on the real estate market are they
00:03:06 00:03:09 asking you questions about the interest
00:03:07 00:03:12 rates are they asking questions about
00:03:09 00:03:14 the local new construction community
00:03:12 00:03:16 that's going up in your market what are
00:03:14 00:03:18 they asking because this gives you a
00:03:16 00:03:20 real life interpretation of what the
00:03:18 00:03:21 demand is now if you don't have many
00:03:20 00:03:25 past clients or current clients or
00:03:21 00:03:27 future clients again aka leads then go
00:03:25 00:03:29 out and search on facebook groups go to
00:03:27 00:03:31 reddit communities go to other videos
00:03:29 00:03:33 like we referenced in the past and see
00:03:31 00:03:35 what the comments section is all about
00:03:33 00:03:37 because the audience whether it's yours
00:03:35 00:03:40 or somebody else's is going to actively
00:03:37 00:03:42 communicate what they need as an example
00:03:40 00:03:44 if you make videos highlighting specific
00:03:42 00:03:45 cities and make that a series where
00:03:44 00:03:47 you're going to soon find out that the
00:03:45 00:03:49 comment section is gonna be full of
00:03:47 00:03:50 suggestions of which city to cover next
00:03:49 00:03:54 and once you have a good idea of what
00:03:50 00:03:56 clients aka viewers are asking for we go
00:03:54 00:03:58 on to step number four which is
00:03:56 00:03:59 establishing your setup in other words
00:03:58 00:04:02 how are you going to execute on those
00:03:59 00:04:03 videos this is more the logistiks aka
00:04:02 00:04:05 the tiknical part are you going to be
00:04:03 00:04:07 on location while you're recording
00:04:05 00:04:09 videos are you going to do toking head
00:04:07 00:04:10 videos which is very similar to this how
00:04:09 00:04:12 are you going to record are you going to
00:04:10 00:04:14 use your phone which there's nothing
00:04:12 00:04:16 wrong with that the first videos that i
00:04:14 00:04:17 made were all on my phone or do you have
00:04:16 00:04:18 a camera that you can use in a
00:04:17 00:04:21 professional microphone that you can
00:04:18 00:04:22 also leverage to get better videos out

00:05:07 00:05:11 data and understand what videos get
00:05:09 00:05:13 views and also what the retention looks
00:05:11 00:05:15 like on your videos then you can start
00:05:13 00:05:17 making some decisions on what changes
00:05:15 00:05:18 you need to make with your videos now if
