00:00:28 00:00:32 so driven so motivated I think even
00:00:30 00:00:34 those of you that are a little bit older
00:00:32 00:00:36 are gonna be able to literally take a
00:00:34 00:00:37 lot from he recently did another
00:00:36 00:00:39 interview with somebody that works here
00:00:37 00:00:41 at the Commerce Empire builders as well
00:00:39 00:00:43 and I was just blown away listening to
00:00:41 00:00:44 it so I had to have him on the channel
00:00:43 00:00:46 to kind of share some of this insight as

00:01:04 00:01:08 about you like you're a little bit of
00:01:06 00:01:10 your back story as far as like how did
00:01:08 00:01:12 you how did you even get into like this
00:01:10 00:01:18 whole online you know business ecommerce
00:01:12 00:01:20 space okay so I started um just trying
00:01:18 00:01:23 to make some money I like nice stuff I
00:01:20 00:01:25 like luxury stuff for like I just wanted
00:01:23 00:01:27 some of the cool things that I saw my
00:01:25 00:01:28 friends have when I was in middle school
00:01:27 00:01:31 obviously it doesn't matter now but back
00:01:28 00:01:33 then I really wanted it but I knew my
00:01:31 00:01:36 parents were gonna buy for me so I had
00:01:33 00:01:40 to go out worth Milan's do physical
00:01:36 00:01:43 labor and I did that I got a really nice
00:01:40 00:01:46 backpack that I wanted and at that point
00:01:43 00:01:48 I said never again I was too much work
00:01:46 00:01:52 it's not worth it for a dumb backpack
00:01:48 00:01:54 but I still want some money so I went on
00:01:52 00:01:58 YouTube I typed how to make money online
00:01:54 00:02:00 and what popped up was Amazon FBA and I
00:01:58 00:02:02 saw a little bit of Shopify Shopify was
00:02:00 00:02:05 sort of new I got started I actually did
00:02:02 00:02:08 Shopify I think I got started literally
00:02:05 00:02:10 with like sixty to a hundred dollars how
00:02:08 00:02:12 long ago was this man just just the gift
00:02:10 00:02:14 timeframe was this like last year would
00:02:12 00:02:17 you say are like two years ago
00:02:14 00:02:20 I would say two years ago I think I was
00:02:17 00:02:24 in I think it was this summer in between
00:02:20 00:02:26 sixth grade and seventh grade it's just
00:02:24 00:02:29 crazy to me like I don't even know what
00:02:26 00:02:32 I was doing in 6-game but keep going say
00:02:29 00:02:34 oh yeah so I launched that Shopify store
00:02:32 00:02:37 and that was my first e-commerce thing
00:02:34 00:02:39 I've ever done and it actually did
00:02:37 00:02:41 pretty well my first day I got my first
00:02:39 00:02:44 sale I just took it down a couple months
00:02:41 00:02:46 ago but I framed this Shopify picture of
00:02:44 00:02:49 a first sale I printed it out and I got
00:02:46 00:02:51 on my wall because I've never gotten to
00:02:49 00:02:55 sell online so that was awesome
00:02:51 00:02:58 I actually set up the the stats wrong so
00:02:55 00:03:00 I actually like it was for way less than
00:02:58 00:03:02 I should have sold it because it was a
00:03:00 00:03:04 free plus shipping offer I set up my
00:03:02 00:03:05 shipping wrong so I didn't make any
00:03:04 00:03:08 money off of it but I was still super
00:03:05 00:03:09 excited and after about a month I didn't
00:03:08 00:03:12 even know it at the time but it was
00:03:09 00:03:14 doing really well um I only ever spent
00:03:12 00:03:17 up to like 40 dollars a day but I was
00:03:14 00:03:20 getting $2 calls for Kimberly she cost
00:03:17 00:03:22 per purchase on a 17 dollars I know I
00:03:20 00:03:25 started out free plus shipping for I
00:03:22 00:03:27 think $12 and I changed it to 17 the
00:03:25 00:03:30 product was $2.00 so my profit was
00:03:27 00:03:31 insane I never really scaled it exciting
00:03:30 00:03:34 care I didn't care about the business I
00:03:31 00:03:37 had no back end it was just selling one
00:03:34 00:03:39 product on the front end and that was it
00:03:37 00:03:44 I made decent money with that I ran it
00:03:39 00:03:47 for six seven months and at that point I
00:03:44 00:03:50 tried to sell it and then the sellers
00:03:47 00:03:53 Shopify exchange they said you can't
00:03:50 00:03:55 sell this you're 14 you're actually not
00:03:53 00:03:58 even allowed to have a Shopify store so
00:03:55 00:04:01 you're gone so I couldn't sell it I just
00:03:58 00:04:03 had to pretty much let it go and at that
00:04:01 00:04:05 point I didn't know where to go so I
00:04:03 00:04:08 sort of took a little bit of a break
00:04:05 00:04:11 from all this stuff but I never stopped
00:04:08 00:04:13 reading I never stopped watching cheesy
00:04:11 00:04:16 little motivational videos um eventually
00:04:13 00:04:17 I got a YouTube ad for social media
00:04:16 00:04:21 marketing and I was like whoo I want to
00:04:17 00:04:22 do this but analysis paralysis you know
00:04:21 00:04:24 I was like I need to know everything
00:04:22 00:04:27 about marketing and I started reading
00:04:24 00:04:27 books Russell Brunson books I started
00:04:27 00:04:30 taking Frank
00:04:27 00:04:32 courses and pretty much everything I
00:04:30 00:04:34 learned about marketing and I got to a
00:04:32 00:04:36 point right when I was about to launch
00:04:34 00:04:38 well at that point I already had one
00:04:36 00:04:40 client it wasn't for much but I didn't
00:04:38 00:04:42 even like the job at all but I got to a
00:04:40 00:04:45 point I was like why am I even gonna do
00:04:42 00:04:47 this like I know so much about marketing
00:04:45 00:04:50 I could do it for a business on my own
00:04:47 00:04:51 and learning about marketing obviously
00:04:50 00:04:53 if you're online you're gonna learn
00:04:51 00:04:56 about clickfunnels they're ginormous so
00:04:53 00:04:59 I typed in click funnels drop shipping I
00:04:56 00:05:00 found your channel it was the first one
00:04:59 00:05:03 that popped up I saw the zero to a
00:05:00 00:05:06 thousand and three days series and I was
00:05:03 00:05:09 like wow so within like a week
00:05:06 00:05:11 I pretty much consumed all your content
00:05:09 00:05:14 I watched it all set up my funnel I did
00:05:11 00:05:19 all this and I and I got a couple sales
00:05:14 00:05:21 um just I think because I had Instagram
00:05:19 00:05:23 page in a niche with like five thousand
00:05:21 00:05:26 followers I got to sales just from
00:05:23 00:05:27 making a post on that I don't know was
00:05:26 00:05:29 that from your from your Shopify store
00:05:27 00:05:31 that you had run previously or what did
00:05:29 00:05:33 you did you build the funnel and like a
00:05:31 00:05:36 different niche now um this was in the
00:05:33 00:05:38 niche I'm in now so I started with that
00:05:36 00:05:40 it wasn't any product that I'm selling
00:05:38 00:05:43 now it was a crappy funnel but I still
00:05:40 00:05:45 made sales I had an Instagram page yeah
00:05:43 00:05:47 with like 5,000 followers in this niche
00:05:45 00:05:48 and I ended up selling it for that I
00:05:47 00:05:51 needed the money a little bit later down
00:05:48 00:05:55 the line but I did get a couple of sales
00:05:51 00:05:58 from that and then click funnels came
00:05:55 00:06:02 around they build me the $97 and I was
00:05:58 00:06:03 broke and more money anymore so I went
00:06:02 00:06:06 to your channel started watching
00:06:03 00:06:07 six-figure Sundays and also if anyone's
00:06:06 00:06:09 watching this you need to turn into
00:06:07 00:06:11 six-figure Sundays especially if you're
00:06:09 00:06:14 trying to get a little bit of money for
00:06:11 00:06:17 Facebook Ads literally they give away
00:06:14 00:06:19 like $100 every single Sunday just on
00:06:17 00:06:21 there and it's really easy to win just
00:06:19 00:06:24 have your Instagram ready and you'll
00:06:21 00:06:26 pretty much guarantee you win $25 but I
00:06:24 00:06:28 didn't knew that's so funny sir before
00:06:26 00:06:29 you continue like I was just toking
00:06:28 00:06:31 about that this Sunday I was like I had
00:06:29 00:06:34 no idea that you were on there before
00:06:31 00:06:36 and like you got all this money from
00:06:34 00:06:37 from us before before starting your
00:06:36 00:06:40 business but but keep going I want to
00:06:37 00:06:41 spoil it my first six-figure Sunday I
00:06:40 00:06:44 got I
00:06:41 00:06:45 think it Holly in Jordan were running
00:06:44 00:06:48 this one you weren't there and they
00:06:45 00:06:52 thought that it was $50 instead of 25 so
00:06:48 00:06:56 they were getting $50 reward and I won
00:06:52 00:06:58 and then I won next week and I won the
00:06:56 00:07:00 week after that and I don't know if you
00:06:58 00:07:02 remember this but you said let's pick a
00:07:00 00:07:05 new winner just Tennessee wins every
00:07:02 00:07:08 time there's a people that I feel like
00:07:05 00:07:12 always win are always winning money on
00:07:08 00:07:15 there but every Sunday at like 12:00 55
00:07:12 00:07:17 I would just refresh refresh refresh on
00:07:15 00:07:19 the e-commerce Empire builders page and
00:07:17 00:07:21 every Monday Wednesday Friday at like
00:07:19 00:07:23 12:15 I just need to be the first
00:07:21 00:07:28 comment I need to win the free call or
00:07:23 00:07:31 whatever and then I got some money from
00:07:28 00:07:33 the six-figure Sundays I was able to pay
00:07:31 00:07:35 the clickfunnels bill and I was able to
00:07:33 00:07:38 pay for my first little round of
00:07:35 00:07:42 Facebook ads and I broke even on that
00:07:38 00:07:46 and then I was like okay this is selling
00:07:42 00:07:47 let's add continuity so I added a little
00:07:46 00:07:50 bit of continuity it wasn't great at the
00:07:47 00:07:52 time I wouldn't do it again but then I
00:07:50 00:07:54 started to turn a big profit and I just
00:07:52 00:07:57 scaled it I scaled it scaled it and
00:07:54 00:08:02 eventually I was getting about $2,800 a
00:07:57 00:08:04 day those were our best days and it got
00:08:02 00:08:07 very stressful doing it all myself it
00:08:04 00:08:09 was very difficult to try to manage all
00:08:07 00:08:10 these people to try to run Facebook guys
00:08:09 00:08:14 to launch funnels
00:08:10 00:08:16 all by myself just a 15 year old kid I
00:08:14 00:08:19 don't really know what I'm doing this is
00:08:16 00:08:22 all new so at this point I'd already
00:08:19 00:08:27 been in the toks with when the guys
00:08:22 00:08:29 involved with inner circle and because I
00:08:27 00:08:31 applied for my free call and I got that
00:08:29 00:08:34 who said I should go into inner circle
00:08:31 00:08:37 so after about two months of lying to
00:08:34 00:08:39 him saying like yeah I mean I want it
00:08:37 00:08:41 going I don't really know I was like
00:08:39 00:08:43 okay I can join I have enough money I'm
00:08:41 00:08:48 gonna join let's do this
00:08:43 00:08:51 so I joined and first day I posted I got
00:08:48 00:08:53 video responses from you
00:08:51 00:08:55 Jordan and Ollie and it was incredible I
00:08:53 00:08:59 told I told my family
00:08:55 00:09:02 like and it was awesome but um took me
00:08:59 00:09:06 about two three weeks to actually launch
00:09:02 00:09:08 again with new brand LLC professional
00:09:06 00:09:11 continuity and things are going really
00:09:08 00:09:14 good right now I'm up to around 50 km on
00:09:11 00:09:17 I'm trying to get that up I'm launching
00:09:14 00:09:20 actual like branded products now front
00:09:17 00:09:23 ends and yeah I'm just looking to scale
00:09:20 00:09:26 and actually build a brand that people
00:09:23 00:09:28 in my niche can actually remember and
00:09:26 00:09:33 always go to and think of as sort of a
00:09:28 00:09:35 category king so hundreds so tell me a
00:09:33 00:09:37 little bit about because you know we
00:09:35 00:09:38 glossed over it when you were building
00:09:37 00:09:40 like kind of like your your next funnel
00:09:38 00:09:43 or the one I was doing like 20 hundred
00:09:40 00:09:45 bucks a day like were you and are you in
00:09:43 00:09:46 school at this point like how are you
00:09:45 00:09:48 how are you managing that because like
00:09:46 00:09:50 some people you know especially your age
00:09:48 00:09:51 and I also want to because we definitely
00:09:50 00:09:53 have an older demographic like we don't
00:09:51 00:09:56 have a lot of 15 year olds like that
00:09:53 00:09:57 that watch to watch the channel but you
00:09:56 00:09:58 know a lot of people say oh they don't
00:09:57 00:09:59 have the time they don't you know they
00:09:58 00:10:02 have all these other responsibilities
00:09:59 00:10:04 going on like look where you are you and
00:10:02 00:10:06 were you in school at this time like
00:10:04 00:10:07 doing this or like where were you at
00:10:06 00:10:11 okay
00:10:07 00:10:13 so right now I'm tiknically in 10th
00:10:11 00:10:15 grade I'm not really in 10th grade
00:10:13 00:10:17 because I'm go to school anymore I went
00:10:15 00:10:19 to ninth grade in school and towards the
00:10:17 00:10:22 end of ninth grade I was like all
00:10:19 00:10:25 committed to business like every day I'd
00:10:22 00:10:27 come to school with a new book I think I
00:10:25 00:10:30 brought the book like unscripted by MJ
00:10:27 00:10:32 DeMarco that was my go-to if you know
00:10:30 00:10:34 what that book is I would just take that
00:10:32 00:10:37 out in class every day I'd get yelled at
00:10:34 00:10:39 for reading in school I mean I wasn't
00:10:37 00:10:40 going to read the actual books that they
00:10:39 00:10:41 told me to so as long as over the
00:10:40 00:10:42 reading some of my teachers don't really
00:10:41 00:10:45 care
00:10:42 00:10:48 especially my English teacher but um
00:10:45 00:10:51 towards the end of ninth grade I was
00:10:48 00:10:54 still I wasn't making anything but I
00:10:51 00:10:56 told my dad I was like listen I really
00:10:54 00:10:59 want to go on in on this please like
00:10:56 00:11:02 just believe in me give me this shot my
00:10:59 00:11:03 dad was like okay sounds good as long as
00:11:02 00:11:06 you do your schoolwork I don't really
00:11:03 00:11:08 care I believe in you I told my mom I
00:11:06 00:11:09 was like please and she's like I don't
00:11:08 00:11:11 know you know
00:11:09 00:11:13 really no any business sort of people
00:11:11 00:11:15 and you need some sort of social I was
00:11:13 00:11:18 like mom the thing that's killing me
00:11:15 00:11:21 right now is my social life if I get rid
00:11:18 00:11:23 of these types of people and I commit to
00:11:21 00:11:26 business and I get new friends and
00:11:23 00:11:28 people in the business space I will be
00:11:26 00:11:31 so much more successful and be so much
00:11:28 00:11:34 more happy and eventually she said okay
00:11:31 00:11:39 so over this summer I worked a lot and I
00:11:34 00:11:42 think I started making my first sales in
00:11:39 00:11:44 late August so so that was like right at
00:11:42 00:11:47 school would have started and I've been
00:11:44 00:11:49 at that point my mom was like well
00:11:47 00:11:52 you're actually doing something and what
00:11:49 00:11:55 made her actually happy with me being at
00:11:52 00:11:57 home school or whatever is when I joined
00:11:55 00:12:00 the inner circle I told her about that
00:11:57 00:12:01 for so long and she she was like this is
00:12:00 00:12:03 what I wanted for you I wanted you to
00:12:01 00:12:05 have people you can call to I want you
00:12:03 00:12:07 to be around like-minded people you
00:12:05 00:12:10 found your group of people I'm so proud
00:12:07 00:12:12 of you and now she she's really
00:12:10 00:12:13 supportive of the fact that I'm
00:12:12 00:12:17 homeschooled and she's really supportive
00:12:13 00:12:18 with my business and she's pretty
00:12:17 00:12:20 lenient making me do like chores and
00:12:18 00:12:22 stuff Christian knows if she's gonna get
00:12:20 00:12:24 a lot more out of it if she just lets me
00:12:22 00:12:27 work on my nursing work around the house
00:12:24 00:12:28 like you're hiring me to come clean
00:12:27 00:12:30 doing your chores yeah
00:12:28 00:12:31 good man they have to be so proud of you
00:12:30 00:12:32 because I'm sure there's a lot of
00:12:31 00:12:34 parents watching this right now it's
00:12:32 00:12:36 like man like how do you like his ID
00:12:34 00:12:39 like everybody would want to you know
00:12:36 00:12:41 want their kid to be as motivated as you
00:12:39 00:12:43 like did your parents were they like
00:12:41 00:12:45 business people are like you know or how
00:12:43 00:12:47 were you raised with these kind of like
00:12:45 00:12:50 principles already or or did you kind of
00:12:47 00:12:52 develop them yourself um well I really
00:12:50 00:12:55 developed them for looking up how to
00:12:52 00:12:58 make money online and once I was really
00:12:55 00:12:59 young I was pretty upset like my parents
00:12:58 00:13:01 wouldn't buy me all this nice stuff but
00:12:59 00:13:03 I'm so glad they didn't spend money to
00:13:01 00:13:05 buy me Jordans because the second I got
00:13:03 00:13:08 money to buy Jordans and I bought the
00:13:05 00:13:10 Jordans it was huge and I wanted more
00:13:08 00:13:13 obviously I don't care about that
00:13:10 00:13:15 anymore I bought Easy's a couple months
00:13:13 00:13:19 ago but we don't have to tok about that
00:13:15 00:13:22 because it dumb purchase never buy easy
00:13:19 00:13:27 but comfy though man easy
00:13:22 00:13:27 they're very comfy but bad investment
00:13:28 00:13:34 so so so going back to where were they
00:13:32 00:13:37 liked business-minded already or to
00:13:34 00:13:39 develop that up yourself well my dad has
00:13:37 00:13:42 my dad hasn't worked for someone in like
00:13:39 00:13:46 20 s years but he's been doing for the
00:13:42 00:13:50 past like 5-10 years is he and he like
00:13:46 00:13:51 inherited his parents home in Key Largo
00:13:50 00:13:54 and he was just renting that out on
00:13:51 00:13:56 Airbnb it was a nice place so he would
00:13:54 00:13:58 just rent that out eventually he sold
00:13:56 00:13:59 that and now I think he was a little bit
00:13:58 00:14:02 motivated with me doing business stuff
00:13:59 00:14:05 so now he's trying to get into a
00:14:02 00:14:07 business but really um they're not super
00:14:05 00:14:08 entrepreneurial they're not like going
00:14:07 00:14:12 out starting businesses and stuff I just
00:14:08 00:14:15 really wanted to buy stuff for myself
00:14:12 00:14:17 and slowly over time that escalated into
00:14:15 00:14:20 I don't want to start a business
00:14:17 00:14:22 I actually really like business I and
00:14:20 00:14:25 then now I don't even care about the
00:14:22 00:14:27 money more I just really like business
00:14:25 00:14:29 and I make and I like building as my
00:14:27 00:14:30 passion is like being creative and
00:14:29 00:14:33 building something that's what I like
00:14:30 00:14:35 yeah that goes back to even like Duke
00:14:33 00:14:37 being like passionate about what you do
00:14:35 00:14:39 on a daily basis right a lot of people
00:14:37 00:14:40 like you said like when you're building
00:14:39 00:14:42 a business that you're really kind of
00:14:40 00:14:43 like yeah I don't really believe in this
00:14:42 00:14:44 and it's like only the motivation is
00:14:43 00:14:46 about money
00:14:44 00:14:48 right like it's like a lot more harder
00:14:46 00:14:49 to succeed and I know you've made posts
00:14:48 00:14:50 inside inner circle because like there's
00:14:49 00:14:52 people that come in there and they're
00:14:50 00:14:54 the same thing that say is like man I
00:14:52 00:14:55 just want to make money I make money but
00:14:54 00:14:57 it's so much more it's honestly a lot
00:14:55 00:14:59 easier to make money when you actually
00:14:57 00:15:01 care about your customers you care about
00:14:59 00:15:02 care about your products like that so if
00:15:01 00:15:03 you tell a little bit about your
00:15:02 00:15:06 experience cuz I know what you're doing
00:15:03 00:15:08 right now you enjoy doing but like how
00:15:06 00:15:10 did you how did you come about that did
00:15:08 00:15:11 you kind of like look around like oh
00:15:10 00:15:13 what are the things that you like to do
00:15:11 00:15:15 what would you start a business around
00:15:13 00:15:18 and how did you eventually get into it
00:15:15 00:15:20 okay well over time I always knew that
00:15:18 00:15:22 in each I'm in right now is the one I've
00:15:20 00:15:24 always wanted to get into but I've never
00:15:22 00:15:25 really cared about someone saying you
00:15:24 00:15:27 need to do a nice you're passionate
00:15:25 00:15:30 about because I've heard some people say
00:15:27 00:15:31 that that's sort of BS you just need to
00:15:30 00:15:33 get into the nice that makes money and
00:15:31 00:15:35 then sort of what I was doing like
00:15:33 00:15:38 general Shopify stores all that stuff
00:15:35 00:15:40 but as spirit general
00:15:38 00:15:43 [Laughter]
00:15:40 00:15:47 never open it general shop don't open my
00:15:43 00:15:48 store now that's okay but um you always
00:15:47 00:15:50 stressed open something you're
00:15:48 00:15:52 passionate about and the only reason I
00:15:50 00:15:54 actually did it is because you started
00:15:52 00:15:56 something around fishing and I could
00:15:54 00:15:58 tell that you can do a good amount about
00:15:56 00:16:01 fishing so I was like okay well I know a
00:15:58 00:16:03 lot about my knee so I'm just gonna I'm
00:16:01 00:16:04 gonna do it and as soon as I did it I've
00:16:03 00:16:05 gotten results like I haven't done
00:16:04 00:16:08 before because I know how to speak to
00:16:05 00:16:11 these people obviously a huge advantage
00:16:08 00:16:13 is actually enjoying it but another huge
00:16:11 00:16:15 advantage is people are going to be on
00:16:13 00:16:17 board with your mission and your company
00:16:15 00:16:18 a lot more because they know that you
00:16:17 00:16:20 know what you're toking about
00:16:18 00:16:23 it's very obvious when you go to a
00:16:20 00:16:25 Shopify store especially in my niche
00:16:23 00:16:26 I've seen so many and the messaging is
00:16:25 00:16:29 just so long like they don't know how to
00:16:26 00:16:30 speak to the actual people and I'm sure

00:16:42 00:16:46 really need to be passionate about it
00:16:43 00:16:47 because you enjoy working on it and you
00:16:46 00:16:50 need to be passionate about it because
00:16:47 00:16:52 you're actually providing value and it's
00:16:50 00:16:54 something that people will actually want
00:16:52 00:16:57 and of course that turns into money
00:16:54 00:17:00 chasing money will never really turn
00:16:57 00:17:01 into anything for you and it's it's one
00:17:00 00:17:03 of those things that you know sometimes
00:17:01 00:17:04 you have to make that realization
00:17:03 00:17:06 yourself and I feel like most people
00:17:04 00:17:08 that want to actually do business and
00:17:06 00:17:10 and be successful they eventually you
00:17:08 00:17:12 know even if it's the hard way they'll
00:17:10 00:17:14 eventually come to come to that
00:17:12 00:17:16 conclusion but I want to hit on a little
00:17:14 00:17:17 bit about like what you were toking
00:17:16 00:17:19 about earlier is like surrounding
00:17:17 00:17:22 yourself with with like like-minded
00:17:19 00:17:23 people so like when you were we're in
00:17:22 00:17:24 school and this is something from your
00:17:23 00:17:26 other interview and Anthony that I
00:17:24 00:17:29 wanted to kind of bring up here is like
00:17:26 00:17:32 like how did it like did people know
00:17:29 00:17:33 like did your friends know or that you
00:17:32 00:17:35 know your people in school did they know
00:17:33 00:17:36 about what you were doing were you were
00:17:35 00:17:39 you telling people or were you always
00:17:36 00:17:42 kind of keeping that stuff to yourself
00:17:39 00:17:46 um I pretty much just kept it to myself
00:17:42 00:17:48 because I mean ecommerce and sales
00:17:46 00:17:49 funnels was kind of hard to explain to
00:17:48 00:17:51 someone so I ended up telling one person
00:17:49 00:17:51 they're like what's that and I was like
00:17:51 00:17:54 well
00:17:51 00:17:56 you cellphone or I'm looking to do sales
00:17:54 00:17:59 wants to do this for businesses like
00:17:56 00:18:03 okay so eventually I just stop telling
00:17:59 00:18:07 people because you tell these people and
00:18:03 00:18:09 most likely unless they're people who
00:18:07 00:18:11 are doing the same thing as you they're
00:18:09 00:18:13 gonna try to make you do something else
00:18:11 00:18:14 so even if you tell them there's you're
00:18:13 00:18:16 super passionate this is all you care
00:18:14 00:18:18 about they're still gonna be like why
00:18:16 00:18:20 are you doing that that's dumb just go
00:18:18 00:18:22 get a job or something or they're gonna
00:18:20 00:18:24 say yeah well take a break every once in
00:18:22 00:18:25 a while you don't have to always worry
00:18:24 00:18:28 and it's funny because the only people
00:18:25 00:18:30 that say you have to take a break you
00:18:28 00:18:32 have to have work-life balance those are
00:18:30 00:18:34 people who don't have anything that
00:18:32 00:18:35 they're super passionate about because
00:18:34 00:18:39 when you're super passionate about
00:18:35 00:18:42 something work-life balance there's no
00:18:39 00:18:43 work it's just you have balance because
00:18:42 00:18:45 what you're doing is something that you
00:18:43 00:18:47 really like that's part of your life
00:18:45 00:18:49 mm-hmm if you're doing a job then yeah
00:18:47 00:18:51 that's understandable you're slaving
00:18:49 00:18:53 away you don't you're doing something
00:18:51 00:18:54 that you don't like also you can do
00:18:53 00:18:55 something you really like with jobs
00:18:54 00:18:57 actually many people very happy with
00:18:55 00:18:59 their jobs but if you're doing something
00:18:57 00:19:00 that you don't actually enjoy and then
00:18:59 00:19:02 work-life balance obviously but if
00:19:00 00:19:05 you're doing something that you're super
00:19:02 00:19:07 committed to no one really is going to
00:19:05 00:19:08 understand that except yourself so you
00:19:07 00:19:11 just have to sort of block out these
00:19:08 00:19:13 people who are gonna try to drag you
00:19:11 00:19:15 down try to take you away and with
00:19:13 00:19:17 enough of those people surrounding you
00:19:15 00:19:19 you're going to cave in you're gonna
00:19:17 00:19:21 stop committing to business you're gonna
00:19:19 00:19:23 go out with friends more you're gonna
00:19:21 00:19:25 lose passion you're not really going to
00:19:23 00:19:27 care about money because when you're
00:19:25 00:19:30 around people who don't care about
00:19:27 00:19:33 business you don't care about um having
00:19:30 00:19:36 a good life or whatever you want to say
00:19:33 00:19:38 then you sort of adopt some of the some
00:19:36 00:19:40 of that some of those mentalities ah one
00:19:38 00:19:42 thing I said on the other interview is I
00:19:40 00:19:45 would have a really nice summer break or
00:19:42 00:19:47 winter break and I would put it all
00:19:45 00:19:50 towards business and focus and I would
00:19:47 00:19:52 just I would try to do skrull my
00:19:50 00:19:54 business better myself read a lot of
00:19:52 00:19:56 books I'd go back to school people would
00:19:54 00:19:59 say hey we should hang out as we go we
00:19:56 00:20:01 should do this and just that other
00:19:59 00:20:05 mindset that you don't really want to be
00:20:01 00:20:07 part of mmm and you sort of lose all
00:20:05 00:20:08 focus that you had yourself so when you
00:20:07 00:20:10 surround yourself with people with
00:20:08 00:20:12 like-minded goals the people who are
00:20:10 00:20:15 just as committed to your passion as you
00:20:12 00:20:20 are you're gonna find it a lot easier to
00:20:15 00:20:24 succeed um if you take someone like
00:20:20 00:20:27 LeBron James and when he was probably 17
00:20:24 00:20:28 or 18 he was in a super elite group but
00:20:27 00:20:31 if you took him and you put him into
00:20:28 00:20:32 sort of a beginner basketball group and
00:20:31 00:20:34 that's all he had access to he didn't
00:20:32 00:20:38 have access to high-level coaches his
00:20:34 00:20:41 drive to succeed would be a lot less but
00:20:38 00:20:43 him being in the group of people he had
00:20:41 00:20:45 to be competitive he had to take the
00:20:43 00:20:47 next step and another thing is you
00:20:45 00:20:48 should not just do it yourself up if
00:20:47 00:20:50 you're being an entrepreneur doing it
00:20:48 00:20:52 yourself is not great because you have
00:20:50 00:20:55 no other people to compare yourself to
00:20:52 00:20:58 one thing that really helped me is is on
00:20:55 00:21:00 joining inner circle or even the Academy
00:20:58 00:21:03 we see other entrepreneurs working from
00:21:00 00:21:04 getting results and I'm a pretty
00:21:03 00:21:07 competitive person so I'd always want to
00:21:04 00:21:09 do better and I want to work harder than
00:21:07 00:21:10 other people and I wanted to get more
00:21:09 00:21:12 results
00:21:10 00:21:14 so doing it yourself you have nothing to
00:21:12 00:21:16 compare your results to so doing it with
00:21:14 00:21:18 a group of like-minded people who are
00:21:16 00:21:19 better than you actually that makes you
00:21:18 00:21:22 step up your game
00:21:19 00:21:26 yeah and that's that's so true and it's
00:21:22 00:21:27 like you know we often we lose that
00:21:26 00:21:28 right because especially when you're
00:21:27 00:21:30 doing an online business by yourself
00:21:28 00:21:33 it's like you have nothing to compare
00:21:30 00:21:35 yourself to except maybe like mediocrity
00:21:33 00:21:38 that you're around all the time right so
00:21:35 00:21:39 did you find it hard to like like would
00:21:38 00:21:43 you say that the things that you had to
00:21:39 00:21:45 give up like sacrifice wise was it was
00:21:43 00:21:46 it difficult to for you to do that or
00:21:45 00:21:48 did you just know that hey you know what
00:21:46 00:21:50 this is the path that I want to be on
00:21:48 00:21:54 and it's I'm willing to sacrifice
00:21:50 00:21:56 whatever it is to get to get it okay
00:21:54 00:21:59 well it never really bothered me that I
00:21:56 00:22:01 had to give up friends because I'm
00:21:59 00:22:02 pretty introverted I didn't really care
00:22:01 00:22:05 mm-hm
00:22:02 00:22:06 so I just got home and I was so much
00:22:05 00:22:08 more passionate about business and
00:22:06 00:22:13 working that it's at a point now I just
00:22:08 00:22:16 wake up I I read I I work I try to
00:22:13 00:22:19 improve my business and that's all I do
00:22:16 00:22:21 like that's my way of survival is just
00:22:19 00:22:23 working on my business like it's life or
00:22:21 00:22:25 death really and it doesn't feel like
00:22:23 00:22:27 we're anything that's just what my life
00:22:25 00:22:29 is that's just how it is I don't really
00:22:27 00:22:31 know how to explain it to anyone but
00:22:29 00:22:33 hopefully everyone will get to that
00:22:31 00:22:36 point where that's that's just how your
00:22:33 00:22:38 life goes so sacrificing wasn't really
00:22:36 00:22:40 hard for me but I do understand how it
00:22:38 00:22:43 would be difficult for some other people
00:22:40 00:22:44 and I really understand how it's
00:22:43 00:22:46 difficult because you're gonna have to
00:22:44 00:22:48 give up some friends you're gonna have
00:22:46 00:22:50 to not go out to parties you're gonna
00:22:48 00:22:55 have to stay in the house you're gonna
00:22:50 00:22:57 have to give up special events and some
00:22:55 00:23:00 people's friends some people's family
00:22:57 00:23:02 will give them a lot of critikism but
00:23:00 00:23:06 you just have to really stay focused and
00:23:02 00:23:08 know that this is gonna be way better
00:23:06 00:23:10 for you in the long run going to a party
00:23:08 00:23:12 with friends is not gonna do you any
00:23:10 00:23:14 good in the long run but staying at your
00:23:12 00:23:17 house and working on your business can
00:23:14 00:23:19 make you a lot of money and happiness in
00:23:17 00:23:21 the long run and your friends right now
00:23:19 00:23:22 may not support it but 10 years in the
00:23:21 00:23:24 future when you're super successful
00:23:22 00:23:28 they're gonna feel pretty dumb for
00:23:24 00:23:31 saying that stuff so sacrifice for me
00:23:28 00:23:34 was easy other people it might be a
00:23:31 00:23:36 little harder yeah yeah so so like kind
00:23:34 00:23:38 of give I guess I kind of go into that a
00:23:36 00:23:40 little bit like what do you have any
00:23:38 00:23:41 advice like for people I know like
00:23:40 00:23:42 you're saying for you it's kind of easy
00:23:41 00:23:44 but like as far as like even how you
00:23:42 00:23:46 structure your day for people watching
00:23:44 00:23:47 that maybe that do have like a good
00:23:46 00:23:50 amount of responsibilities that they
00:23:47 00:23:52 have to do on a daily basis right maybe
00:23:50 00:23:53 they they do have kids maybe they have a
00:23:52 00:23:55 full-time jobs though that they can't
00:23:53 00:23:58 necessarily leave yet but they're still
00:23:55 00:24:00 building building their business like do
00:23:58 00:24:04 you have any advice for that person okay
00:24:00 00:24:07 so during your sort of braindead hours
00:24:04 00:24:11 where you're not really doing intensive
00:24:07 00:24:12 intellectual work most people sitting at
00:24:11 00:24:15 like a desk job unless they're doing
00:24:12 00:24:19 customer support plugging earbuds listen
00:24:15 00:24:21 to a podcast listen to an audio book and
00:24:19 00:24:24 just doing that you will find that
00:24:21 00:24:26 either running making food you'll feel
00:24:24 00:24:28 cut out at least three to four hours a
00:24:26 00:24:30 day to be listening to audiobooks
00:24:28 00:24:33 listening to podcasts and right there
00:24:30 00:24:36 that will help you a lot and
00:24:33 00:24:38 if you're working there there's still a
00:24:36 00:24:40 whole bunch of time left in the day you
00:24:38 00:24:44 could wake up an extra a couple hours
00:24:40 00:24:45 earlier work for that first segment go
00:24:44 00:24:48 to work and as you're at work if you
00:24:45 00:24:54 can't listen to audiobooks listen to
00:24:48 00:24:56 podcast get home and work again get get
00:24:54 00:24:58 eight hours of sleep so it was very
00:24:56 00:25:02 important but other than that if you
00:24:58 00:25:06 find it difficult to work and go home
00:25:02 00:25:09 and work more then you have your goals
00:25:06 00:25:12 messed up because it should not feel
00:25:09 00:25:16 like something that you're sacrificing
00:25:12 00:25:18 it should feel it doesn't have to feel
00:25:16 00:25:20 like sacrifice it should feel like
00:25:18 00:25:22 you're fulfilled it should feel like
00:25:20 00:25:24 this is what I'm supposed to be doing
00:25:22 00:25:27 and for me when I'm working more and
00:25:24 00:25:29 when I have less free time I'm happier
00:25:27 00:25:31 but a lot of people will go to work
00:25:29 00:25:34 he'll get home and they're like I'm done
00:25:31 00:25:35 I'm stressed out and all comes down to
00:25:34 00:25:38 discipline you have to be super
00:25:35 00:25:41 disciplined you have to know that if you
00:25:38 00:25:43 do this every day for a year there will
00:25:41 00:25:45 be results yeah that's so true it's like
00:25:43 00:25:47 you don't wanna you don't want to be you
00:25:45 00:25:48 know some this is a great point for
00:25:47 00:25:50 anybody listening is like you want to
00:25:48 00:25:52 make sure you're not running away from
00:25:50 00:25:53 your business right like some people
00:25:52 00:25:55 like oh I need a break from my business
00:25:53 00:25:56 but you know it's like some nice sale
00:25:55 00:25:59 times like it should be integrated
00:25:56 00:26:00 essentially with your life it shouldn't
00:25:59 00:26:02 be something that you're trying to get a
00:26:00 00:26:04 break from and if you're like always
00:26:02 00:26:06 trying to figure out oh well how do I
00:26:04 00:26:07 get a break from my business how do I
00:26:06 00:26:08 you know that's probably your you're
00:26:07 00:26:10 probably not building the right business
00:26:08 00:26:12 that you should be in the in the first
00:26:10 00:26:14 place so I would love to hear from you
00:26:12 00:26:17 kind of watch what is your what's your
00:26:14 00:26:20 like ultimate goal right like you've had
00:26:17 00:26:23 so much success earlier early on you you
00:26:20 00:26:25 I know you have huge goals for you but
00:26:23 00:26:29 like what is like your your end well
00:26:25 00:26:31 what would be your ideal end goal okay
00:26:29 00:26:33 so I did sort of having this all planned
00:26:31 00:26:35 out obviously um with the business I
00:26:33 00:26:39 have right now I've sort of planned so
00:26:35 00:26:41 I'm gonna scale it and other industries
00:26:39 00:26:43 that I get sort of conquer as time goes
00:26:41 00:26:46 on an example I used with another
00:26:43 00:26:49 student and the inner circle yesterday
00:26:46 00:26:51 Amazon started up just with books and
00:26:49 00:26:53 eventually as sorry they dominated books
00:26:51 00:26:54 and scaled out into other products and
00:26:53 00:26:56 that's how they became that everything
00:26:54 00:27:00 store I'm sorry so that's what I'm doing
00:26:56 00:27:02 my current business right now but um I'm
00:27:00 00:27:04 trying to work as much as I can but I'm
00:27:02 00:27:07 not working hard enough to make me super
00:27:04 00:27:09 happy I hate having free time in a day
00:27:07 00:27:12 it's the most boring thing and I can
00:27:09 00:27:17 breathe for an extra six hours a day but
00:27:12 00:27:20 so I want to UM I want to scale this to
00:27:17 00:27:23 a decent amount I want to exit for I
00:27:20 00:27:26 don't know enough and I um
00:27:23 00:27:28 my all-time goal is really um get into
00:27:26 00:27:30 tiknology that's really what I'm
00:27:28 00:27:34 passionate about like I look up to guys
00:27:30 00:27:37 like Elon Musk and Bill Gates and Reed
00:27:34 00:27:39 Hoffman like everything like they do is
00:27:37 00:27:42 like awesome like especially Elon like
00:27:39 00:27:44 it's sort of a cliche but I really like
00:27:42 00:27:46 what he's doing with sort of futuristik
00:27:44 00:27:48 stuff and like advanced tiknology and
00:27:46 00:27:50 he sort of committed his whole life to
00:27:48 00:27:54 it and people are gonna remember him and
00:27:50 00:27:57 that that's my older model - Barry yeah
00:27:54 00:28:00 my all-time goal I'm gonna go out Palo
00:27:57 00:28:04 Alto Silicon Valley and um not really
00:28:00 00:28:06 like an Internet tik tiknology company
00:28:04 00:28:07 not something like Airbnb or Facebook
00:28:06 00:28:09 not really that I'm not really into that
00:28:07 00:28:14 I'm I'm looking for like actual
00:28:09 00:28:17 tiknology like um Apple and Tesla
00:28:14 00:28:20 obviously those those types of brands
00:28:17 00:28:23 I'm that's my all-time goal but right
00:28:20 00:28:25 now it's ecommerce growing this getting
00:28:23 00:28:26 enough money to fund that so yeah so
00:28:25 00:28:29 what would your what would your ideal
00:28:26 00:28:32 exit be to sell sell for put it out
00:28:29 00:28:34 there as to the universe how much do you
00:28:32 00:28:38 need to fund your your tiknology
00:28:34 00:28:41 company well I would I want to exit for
00:28:38 00:28:42 seventy-five million because right now
00:28:41 00:28:45 just with what I'm doing I'm already
00:28:42 00:28:47 growing subscribers and obviously if you
00:28:45 00:28:48 don't know this when you have
00:28:47 00:28:50 subscription your business is valued
00:28:48 00:28:55 like three times more than any other
00:28:50 00:28:56 business just kiss very very valuable so
00:28:55 00:28:59 I'm growing that I'm expanding and once
00:28:56 00:29:01 I can exit for that amount then
00:28:59 00:29:04 obviously VCS are
00:29:01 00:29:05 gonna trust me with this bit with the
00:29:04 00:29:09 next business and they're gonna know
00:29:05 00:29:12 that I'm not just an idiot so I'm doing
00:29:09 00:29:14 that to raise capital obviously but also
00:29:12 00:29:16 if I can do that then I'm gonna have
00:29:14 00:29:18 trust from a whole bunch of investors
00:29:16 00:29:20 because a lot of them see new we're
00:29:18 00:29:23 people getting into startups and they
00:29:20 00:29:24 won't really invest because they don't
00:29:23 00:29:27 really trust them but if they could see
00:29:24 00:29:29 that I did this at a decently young age
00:29:27 00:29:31 then I'll get investment from them and I
00:29:29 00:29:34 can grow that company awesome it you
00:29:31 00:29:36 have such such big big dreams big goals
00:29:34 00:29:37 I know you're gonna absolutely hit every
00:29:36 00:29:39 single one of them and far exceed them
00:29:37 00:29:41 so as we kind of wind down here do you
00:29:39 00:29:43 have anything you want to share with
00:29:41 00:29:45 with the e-commerce Empire builders here
00:29:43 00:29:47 maybe somebody that has been struggling
00:29:45 00:29:48 for a while to find their find their
00:29:47 00:29:50 success you know do you have anything
00:29:48 00:29:55 you would want to want to share with
00:29:50 00:29:58 them okay yeah so a lot of people are
00:29:55 00:30:00 very quick to try to get their funnel up
00:29:58 00:30:02 to try to I need to get this up right
00:30:00 00:30:06 away and yet it's better to get it way
00:30:02 00:30:07 get it up fast as opposed to optimizing
00:30:06 00:30:10 every little thing before it even
00:30:07 00:30:14 launches but some people are just like
00:30:10 00:30:18 missing mindless issues this is the
00:30:14 00:30:21 copywriting is way off the pictures
00:30:18 00:30:25 aren't good the headlines not looking
00:30:21 00:30:27 good the price is not something that
00:30:25 00:30:29 you've toked about on the channel so
00:30:27 00:30:32 before you just I'm gonna get this up on
00:30:29 00:30:34 my watch it actually make it look nice
00:30:32 00:30:37 because taking that extra day or two to
00:30:34 00:30:40 go in make sure every little copy looks
00:30:37 00:30:42 good pictures look good your offer stok
00:30:40 00:30:45 looks great you have a reasonable price
00:30:42 00:30:47 you have decent upsells that aren't over
00:30:45 00:30:48 priced and actually think everything
00:30:47 00:30:50 through
00:30:48 00:30:53 then you're gonna get a lot more sense
00:30:50 00:30:55 because you'd be surprised with what two
00:30:53 00:30:58 hours on the phone can do if you're just
00:30:55 00:31:00 putting one up you're taking an exact
00:30:58 00:31:05 template and you're just putting your
00:31:00 00:31:07 image in there it the buyers just after
00:31:05 00:31:08 they see about four or five errors there
00:31:07 00:31:10 they're out or you could just take the
00:31:08 00:31:12 time to fix those little things you get
00:31:10 00:31:14 that up you think through the details
00:31:12 00:31:15 you're in a niche that actually makes
00:31:14 00:31:17 sense you
00:31:15 00:31:19 selling random products and you're able
00:31:17 00:31:22 to speak to one person exactly or one
00:31:19 00:31:25 type of person exactly then your funnel
00:31:22 00:31:27 will succeed a lot easier mm-hmm it's
00:31:25 00:31:30 all about that perceived value right
00:31:27 00:31:32 yeah and everything you do it and when I
00:31:30 00:31:34 say perceive I don't just mean like Oh
00:31:32 00:31:36 adding more things into your offer to
00:31:34 00:31:38 raise the value but it's like oh the
00:31:36 00:31:40 imagery the copy like the layout of the
00:31:38 00:31:41 page right it doesn't have to be you
00:31:40 00:31:43 don't have to be some crazy designer by
00:31:41 00:31:44 any mean juicing to it literally just
00:31:43 00:31:47 take your time a little bit alright a
00:31:44 00:31:48 lot of people you know you know I do
00:31:47 00:31:50 believe like you know done is better
00:31:48 00:31:52 than perfect because you could perfect
00:31:50 00:31:53 things out there but you want to at
00:31:52 00:31:56 least take your time
00:31:53 00:31:58 to to kind of like you know your control
00:31:56 00:32:00 that you create you want at least put
00:31:58 00:32:01 like your best foot forward out there so
00:32:00 00:32:03 then you can you know actually split
00:32:01 00:32:05 test and actually beat your control so
