00:00:16 00:00:20 sometimes people don't know how to
00:00:18 00:00:22 optimize their Amazon listings and don't
00:00:20 00:00:25 know why it's so important but your
00:00:22 00:00:28 Amazon listing is equivalent to what
00:00:25 00:00:29 product packaging is to retail it can be
00:00:28 00:00:32 the difference between someone walking
00:00:29 00:00:34 by your product in the aisle passing by
00:00:32 00:00:36 it and not even notiking it versus
00:00:34 00:00:38 someone you know attracted to that
00:00:36 00:00:39 product packaging picking up that
00:00:38 00:00:42 product and later and buying that
00:00:39 00:00:44 product so your Amazon listing is
00:00:42 00:00:45 equally as important and so we want to

00:01:38 00:01:41 experience yourself you were just
00:01:40 00:01:44 sharing that you've you've created
00:01:41 00:01:45 hundreds of Amazon listings yourself so
00:01:44 00:01:48 you definitely have that experience and
00:01:45 00:01:50 you know what converts and what doesn't
00:01:48 00:01:51 what are the most important points in
00:01:50 00:01:54 the listing and what which ones are not
00:01:51 00:01:56 as important so you are gonna share all
00:01:54 00:02:00 of those secrets with us today so thank
00:01:56 00:02:02 you yeah excited yeah so maybe we'll
00:02:00 00:02:04 start by sharing you know why is it so
00:02:02 00:02:06 important because some people feel like
00:02:04 00:02:08 yeah a list seems just olicity and just
00:02:06 00:02:10 put some product images up you know a
00:02:08 00:02:11 title and that's it
00:02:10 00:02:13 but there's a lot more to it than that
00:02:11 00:02:16 so maybe from your experience share why
00:02:13 00:02:18 it's important yeah definitely um you
00:02:16 00:02:20 want to basically put as many relevant
00:02:18 00:02:23 keywords in your listing as possible
00:02:20 00:02:24 because you want to attract as many of
00:02:23 00:02:26 the right buyers to your listing it's
00:02:24 00:02:28 really really important I've seen a lot
00:02:26 00:02:29 of people they'll kind of keyword stuff
00:02:28 00:02:31 and put keywords in there that are kind
00:02:29 00:02:33 of sort of what could be related to
00:02:31 00:02:34 their product but not really and not
00:02:33 00:02:37 really actually hurts you you want to
00:02:34 00:02:38 use relevant keywords that would attract
00:02:37 00:02:40 the type of buyer that would actually
00:02:38 00:02:42 purchase your product so that's gonna
00:02:40 00:02:43 help your conversion rates it's gonna
00:02:42 00:02:45 help your rank it's gonna help basically
00:02:43 00:02:47 just boost your sales which is our
00:02:45 00:02:49 ultimate goal right is to make as many
00:02:47 00:02:51 sales as possible so I'm gonna show you
00:02:49 00:02:53 how to find some relevant keywords today
00:02:51 00:02:56 and put them into your listing in a way
00:02:53 00:02:59 that's great for a customer but also is
00:02:56 00:03:02 see it searchable by the a nine
00:02:59 00:03:04 Amazon's algorithm so yeah yeah that's
00:03:02 00:03:05 great and that's a really good point
00:03:04 00:03:07 because when we tok a lot about keyword
00:03:05 00:03:09 research and sometimes people feel like
00:03:07 00:03:10 well the more the merrier you know the
00:03:09 00:03:12 more keywords they can throw in there
00:03:10 00:03:15 the better but like you said that it can
00:03:12 00:03:17 actually hurt you because of someone you
00:03:15 00:03:19 know if your product is you know a pink
00:03:17 00:03:22 iPhone case and you put the keyword
00:03:19 00:03:24 black iPhone case and someone clicks on
00:03:22 00:03:25 your listing because they're searching
00:03:24 00:03:27 for a black iPhone case but then they
00:03:25 00:03:29 don't buy your product that actually
00:03:27 00:03:32 ends up hurting you more right yeah
00:03:29 00:03:35 exactly yeah so yeah definitely and I
00:03:32 00:03:36 don't like people realize it and even as
00:03:35 00:03:38 a customer I've looked on Amazon
00:03:36 00:03:39 listings and I can see all these
00:03:38 00:03:41 keywords and Iconia and they're just
00:03:39 00:03:43 hurting themselves so yeah I'm happy
00:03:41 00:03:44 sure how to do it correctly today okay
00:03:43 00:03:48 great and and you're gonna be sharing
00:03:44 00:03:51 jungle scouts new listing builder tool

00:04:00 00:04:04 easier so if you don't mind let's dive

00:04:04 00:04:09 just share my screen

00:04:12 00:04:19 do wat two for you so let me just pull
00:04:14 00:04:21 up my awesome so this is when you log
00:04:19 00:04:22 into jungle scout this is keyword scout
00:04:21 00:04:23 and so I'm gonna actually take you from
00:04:22 00:04:25 start to
00:04:23 00:04:27 finish starting with keyword research
00:04:25 00:04:30 and then going into building your actual
00:04:27 00:04:31 listing and the keyword research is the
00:04:30 00:04:33 most important part and I think a lot of
00:04:31 00:04:35 people really skip over this because by
00:04:33 00:04:36 the time you've found your product
00:04:35 00:04:37 you've sourced that you've done all this
00:04:36 00:04:39 work for branding like you were saying
00:04:37 00:04:41 some people are like okay I'm just gonna
00:04:39 00:04:43 throw it up there and and you know get
00:04:41 00:04:45 some good images good images are super
00:04:43 00:04:47 important too but you also want to make
00:04:45 00:04:48 sure you've got those keywords in there
00:04:47 00:04:50 they're really important as well so that
00:04:48 00:04:53 people can find your product organically
00:04:50 00:04:55 so I'm gonna actually use the term yoga
00:04:53 00:04:57 mats as an example so I'm gonna just
00:04:55 00:04:58 first do a search the cool thing about
00:04:57 00:05:00 this is you can actually choose all
00:04:58 00:05:02 these different markets first of all so
00:05:00 00:05:03 if you're selling in the UK you you
00:05:02 00:05:05 would select the UK or Germany or
00:05:03 00:05:07 wherever it's gonna bring up relevant
00:05:05 00:05:09 keywords for that market because they're
00:05:07 00:05:12 different keywords for each marketplace
00:05:09 00:05:14 so a keyword that would be relevant in
00:05:12 00:05:17 Canada may not be relevant in the UK
00:05:14 00:05:18 yeah exactly yeah so it'll be it'll be a
00:05:17 00:05:19 little different for each one of those
00:05:18 00:05:21 so I'm gonna choose the US because
00:05:19 00:05:23 that's where most people sell this where
00:05:21 00:05:25 I sell and that's where I'm most
00:05:23 00:05:28 familiar so I'm gonna just type in the
00:05:25 00:05:31 term yoga mat and I'll get a bunch of
00:05:28 00:05:32 results and when I first started doing
00:05:31 00:05:34 this a few years ago you would start
00:05:32 00:05:37 typing yoga mat and be like green yoga
00:05:34 00:05:39 mat blue yoga mat big yoga mat and
00:05:37 00:05:41 nothing really that would help you kind
00:05:39 00:05:43 of expand your thought process of what
00:05:41 00:05:45 other types of relevant keywords were
00:05:43 00:05:48 there but with jungle Scout they have
00:05:45 00:05:50 this really intelligent search that
00:05:48 00:05:52 allows you to see all kinds of very
00:05:50 00:05:55 relevant keywords so for example you've
00:05:52 00:05:57 got exercise mat okay god um you got
00:05:55 00:05:59 let's see here sick yoga mat there's all
00:05:57 00:06:02 these different types of keywords that
00:05:59 00:06:04 are very relevant that now can actually
00:06:02 00:06:07 extract and it'll help you with your
00:06:04 00:06:08 listing so that to me is really exciting
00:06:07 00:06:11 too because I've been in this game for a
00:06:08 00:06:13 few years and having these is just such
00:06:11 00:06:16 a game changer so you can really expand
00:06:13 00:06:18 your reach with relevant keywords so
00:06:16 00:06:20 this is the first thing you can you can
00:06:18 00:06:22 hit this little arrow and you can see
00:06:20 00:06:24 search volume over time this is really
00:06:22 00:06:26 good just to see okay is this still
00:06:24 00:06:28 continuously selling over time it's
00:06:26 00:06:29 great for product research and all kinds
00:06:28 00:06:31 of things because if you see kind of
00:06:29 00:06:32 going down you can be like well people
00:06:31 00:06:33 aren't really searching for this term is
00:06:32 00:06:36 this trending down
00:06:33 00:06:37 but yeah that's a really great aspect of
00:06:36 00:06:40 it just shows you the trends with the
00:06:37 00:06:43 coronavirus obviously we've got huge up
00:06:40 00:06:45 table and exercise equipment so for 30
00:06:43 00:06:48 days and 90 days you can see how it's
00:06:45 00:06:51 it's just going is booming but yeah this
00:06:48 00:06:53 I what I really always I look at is the
00:06:51 00:06:55 search volume something you can also do
00:06:53 00:06:57 I used to kind of filter this manually
00:06:55 00:06:59 you can filter down the word count so if
00:06:57 00:07:00 you wanted to just look at longtail
00:06:59 00:07:01 keywords you could put a minimum of
00:07:00 00:07:03 maybe two or three right there so you
00:07:01 00:07:05 can you see the longtail keywords which
00:07:03 00:07:07 is you know the keywords that are more
00:07:05 00:07:10 than more than one word and then you
00:07:07 00:07:12 could also filter down with the exact
00:07:10 00:07:13 match so a lot of times I used to go see
00:07:12 00:07:15 I would download spreadsheets and then
00:07:13 00:07:17 delete all the you know all the works
00:07:15 00:07:19 that were a thousand or less but now you
00:07:17 00:07:21 can just you can actually just filter it
00:07:19 00:07:23 out by just putting a minimum of a
00:07:21 00:07:26 thousand searches per month so you can
00:07:23 00:07:28 only see those kind of higher volumes or
00:07:26 00:07:29 if you wanted to go for the lower volume
00:07:28 00:07:31 ones then to start out that way you
00:07:29 00:07:33 could you can filter out that way so you
00:07:31 00:07:35 can really get creative and filtering
00:07:33 00:07:37 down your keywords based on what what
00:07:35 00:07:40 kind of words you want to target mm-hmm
00:07:37 00:07:42 so I really like the that's a new thing
00:07:40 00:07:45 in jungle Scout right now you can filter
00:07:42 00:07:48 these down how many keywords would you
00:07:45 00:07:49 kind of aim for you know for putting in
00:07:48 00:07:52 your listing is there a set number of
00:07:49 00:07:54 keywords that you want to add in it I
00:07:52 00:07:56 don't usually have a number but I
00:07:54 00:07:58 actually go through each one of these
00:07:56 00:08:00 manually I'm actually launching a new
00:07:58 00:08:02 product in June and I've been spending a
00:08:00 00:08:06 lot of time I go through each one and
00:08:02 00:08:07 look at each each word and check off the
00:08:06 00:08:10 ones I think are gonna be relevant for
00:08:07 00:08:11 my listing and I'll show you how to
00:08:10 00:08:13 deduplicate a lot of these words but you
00:08:11 00:08:15 can deduplicate them and you'll notike
00:08:13 00:08:17 that maybe even though you have a lot of
00:08:15 00:08:20 phrases you have only like a smaller
00:08:17 00:08:21 number of words really fit a lot into
00:08:20 00:08:24 your listing a lot more than you think
00:08:21 00:08:26 now it's interesting else oh is that
00:08:24 00:08:28 that guy am yoga mat so I guess that
00:08:26 00:08:32 would be a brand name potentially so
00:08:28 00:08:33 that's probably the guy yes that's a
00:08:32 00:08:35 brand name would you want to add that
00:08:33 00:08:38 cheerless scene or is that gonna hurt
00:08:35 00:08:40 you know I would yeah you wanna make
00:08:38 00:08:43 sure not to put any brand names and your
00:08:40 00:08:44 listing I actually had I was flagged for
00:08:43 00:08:47 a word that I didn't realize was
00:08:44 00:08:49 but it is because it's something that we
00:08:47 00:08:51 use a term that we use all the time for
00:08:49 00:08:52 that partikular item so you gotta be
00:08:51 00:08:54 careful with that because you will get
00:08:52 00:08:56 your listing taken down if you use
00:08:54 00:08:58 somebody else's brand name and you know
00:08:56 00:09:00 either your listing or in the backend
00:08:58 00:09:01 search terms I think we used to do that
00:09:00 00:09:03 a lot we use to kind of sneak them in
00:09:01 00:09:06 there but it's they will you'll take
00:09:03 00:09:08 down your listing so yeah no you know
00:09:06 00:09:10 not check any of those so I would
00:09:08 00:09:12 usually go through all of these and
00:09:10 00:09:14 check off the ones that are not relevant
00:09:12 00:09:16 but to save time I'm just gonna actually
00:09:14 00:09:18 show you how to create keyword lists so
00:09:16 00:09:20 I'm just gonna check all of these and
00:09:18 00:09:22 that all of these are let's just say I
00:09:20 00:09:23 want all these words I'm gonna create a
00:09:22 00:09:26 keyword list that I'm gonna use for
00:09:23 00:09:28 building my listing and so I'm gonna hit
00:09:26 00:09:31 this plus button and we hit create a new
00:09:28 00:09:34 listing and then I'm going to create a
00:09:31 00:09:36 yoga mat I also notiked some misspelled
00:09:34 00:09:38 words which are also great key words
00:09:36 00:09:39 sometimes you wouldn't think of it but I
00:09:38 00:09:41 just saw you know someone spelled
00:09:39 00:09:43 exercise wrong but apparently many
00:09:41 00:09:45 people spell exercise wrong yeah and I
00:09:43 00:09:51 was even going back and forth like Matt
00:09:45 00:09:54 ma TM ET tee so yeah you can you know
00:09:51 00:09:55 search both and I'm sure you'll find you
00:09:54 00:09:58 know both you know a lot of great
00:09:55 00:10:00 keywords from both um so that's one way
00:09:58 00:10:01 to do it that's why I've created my
00:10:00 00:10:04 initial keyword list but one of my
00:10:01 00:10:07 favorite things to do is actually go
00:10:04 00:10:10 onto Amazon and look at the search so I
00:10:07 00:10:14 advise a joga man and I find all of
00:10:10 00:10:15 these these keywords I like to go in and
00:10:14 00:10:18 steal the keywords from some of the top
00:10:15 00:10:20 sellers to see what they're you know
00:10:18 00:10:21 what they're selling basically what
00:10:20 00:10:23 keywords they're attracting buyers with
00:10:21 00:10:25 so that's kind of been one of the things
00:10:23 00:10:27 I've done all along and so I'm gonna
00:10:25 00:10:29 just click on this and I'm actually
00:10:27 00:10:32 gonna take that Aysen in your reverse
00:10:29 00:10:35 Aysen search so there's a few ways you
00:10:32 00:10:38 can get basin it's in in the URL up here
00:10:35 00:10:40 or you can scroll down and you can find
00:10:38 00:10:43 it in the product information product
00:10:40 00:10:46 details right here there's and that is
00:10:43 00:10:47 the keyword that there that's the that's
00:10:46 00:10:49 the number that every single product on
00:10:47 00:10:53 Amazon gets to identify that partikular
00:10:49 00:10:56 product so I'm gonna go into my search
00:10:53 00:10:58 and I'm just going to put that Aysen in
00:10:56 00:11:01 there and hit paste and then I'm gonna
00:10:58 00:11:03 pull up a bunch of keywords that that
00:11:01 00:11:06 partikular listing is oh this is really
00:11:03 00:11:08 great because I know I used to go to at
00:11:06 00:11:09 individual Amazon listings the best
00:11:08 00:11:12 sellers and I would just scan the
00:11:09 00:11:13 listing visually and just manually write
00:11:12 00:11:15 down the keywords that I saw but this is
00:11:13 00:11:17 gonna be way more accurate yeah I used
00:11:15 00:11:19 to do that to it the tools it just
00:11:17 00:11:22 becomes so much more helpful and it
00:11:19 00:11:23 saves you so much time so I love that
00:11:22 00:11:26 yeah and so you can add these keywords
00:11:23 00:11:28 to your list by just done searching that
00:11:26 00:11:31 yoga mat let's see if I can find it
00:11:28 00:11:36 where did it go I saw here list
00:11:31 00:11:39 oh no so many lists because giving us
00:11:36 00:11:41 all ideas say I've got yoga mat wanting
00:11:39 00:11:44 yoga mat - there we go
00:11:41 00:11:46 okay so then so that's one thing you can
00:11:44 00:11:48 do and something new that we just added
00:11:46 00:11:50 and I'm super excited to share with you
00:11:48 00:11:54 is you can actually take multiple Aysen
00:11:50 00:11:57 so I pre-populated a bunch of aces here
00:11:54 00:12:00 you can do up to 9a since and I'm going
00:11:57 00:12:02 to put them in the search here and then
00:12:00 00:12:04 I'm just gonna hit search okay and I'm
00:12:02 00:12:06 gonna just pretend like this first one
00:12:04 00:12:09 is my listing so you want to click on
00:12:06 00:12:11 whatever you can click on whatever
00:12:09 00:12:13 Aysen is yours so that you have that
00:12:11 00:12:15 reference okay this is my listing so
00:12:13 00:12:17 you're gonna get all the keywords that
00:12:15 00:12:22 all those asons are indexing for but if
00:12:17 00:12:23 we scroll over we can also see some more
00:12:22 00:12:26 ranking information so you can actually
00:12:23 00:12:29 see your organic rank so if you scroll
00:12:26 00:12:32 down it'll show you your rank for that
00:12:29 00:12:33 partikular keyword right here so I this
00:12:32 00:12:35 would basically mean that your second in
00:12:33 00:12:36 the search when you search for the term
00:12:35 00:12:39 let see what that is
00:12:36 00:12:42 exercise with yeah exercise mat the
00:12:39 00:12:46 misspelling yeah I misspelled mention
00:12:42 00:12:48 there's a lot of those yes you can that
00:12:46 00:12:51 that's really helpful just to kind of
00:12:48 00:12:54 see an overall view but then also this
00:12:51 00:12:56 is organic ranking Masons so out of
00:12:54 00:12:58 those eight or nine that you put on
00:12:56 00:13:00 there these are how many are ranking for
00:12:58 00:13:02 that keyword so there's a few things
00:13:00 00:13:05 that you can do with that so if you go
00:13:02 00:13:08 to filters in advanced filters you can
00:13:05 00:13:09 actually put a minimum organic ranking
00:13:08 00:13:10 Aysen so if I wanted to see okay I
00:13:09 00:13:12 wouldn't
00:13:10 00:13:13 see words that have a minimum of four of
00:13:12 00:13:14 those products that are ranking for that
00:13:13 00:13:17 keyword so I can see kind of where all
00:13:14 00:13:19 my competitors are going and where where
00:13:17 00:13:22 the traffic is coming from so I mean you
00:13:19 00:13:26 just maybe hit four and then hit apply
00:13:22 00:13:29 and then it's it's gonna filter it
00:13:26 00:13:31 down and show me all of the words that
00:13:29 00:13:35 basically only have four four or more of
00:13:31 00:13:36 those competitors on there so I scroll
00:13:35 00:13:39 back over you can see these are all four
00:13:36 00:13:41 above so there's at least four of these
00:13:39 00:13:43 asons ranking for that keyword and so
00:13:41 00:13:45 you know the higher the number the more
00:13:43 00:13:46 relevant you will probably see that that
00:13:45 00:13:48 keyword is because you're gonna see that
00:13:46 00:13:50 your competitors are also going after
00:13:48 00:13:52 that keyword another thing that I
00:13:50 00:13:55 thought about is you can actually do an
00:13:52 00:13:57 opposite thing is you can actually maybe
00:13:55 00:13:59 say a maximum of four they're ranking
00:13:57 00:14:00 for that keyword and then hit apply and
00:13:59 00:14:03 see if there are any keywords that your
00:14:00 00:14:05 competitors are not ranking for that you
00:14:03 00:14:07 you're like wow everybody's missed this
00:14:05 00:14:09 is a golden opportunity you can look at
00:14:07 00:14:11 the search volume and say wow this has a
00:14:09 00:14:12 hundred thousand searches and you know
00:14:11 00:14:14 none of my competitors are going after
00:14:12 00:14:15 it awesome so there's a few different
00:14:14 00:14:17 ways you can play around with these
00:14:15 00:14:22 different filters which is really really
00:14:17 00:14:23 exciting yeah that just makes it so much
00:14:22 00:14:25 easier I know a lot of people struggle
00:14:23 00:14:27 with the keyword research so this just
00:14:25 00:14:30 it simplifies everything it makes it
00:14:27 00:14:32 easy to read and understand and extract
00:14:30 00:14:34 as well since you can extract those
00:14:32 00:14:37 keywords into a spreadsheet yeah exactly
00:14:34 00:14:39 in also it's just helpful too you don't
00:14:37 00:14:41 have to go to another tool to figure out
00:14:39 00:14:43 what your rank is I used to kind of
00:14:41 00:14:45 bounce back and forth and now I can see
00:14:43 00:14:48 okay well I'm ranking you know number
00:14:45 00:14:49 one for here okay and maybe your ranking
00:14:48 00:14:51 50 or something for another one and you
00:14:49 00:14:53 can say okay I need to target this one I
00:14:51 00:14:56 need to do some strategies to rank for
00:14:53 00:14:58 this keyword so that's I don't know it's
00:14:56 00:15:00 just an amazing I love these
00:14:58 00:15:02 improvements that we've made here we
00:15:00 00:15:04 also have the average of competitor rank
00:15:02 00:15:05 this is you know that all of those
00:15:04 00:15:07 agents that I put in that's their

00:15:35 00:15:39 words and just some different filters
00:15:37 00:15:41 that you can utilize to really help you

00:16:28 00:16:33 so I've written a lot of different or
00:16:31 00:16:34 have made a lot of different keyword
00:16:33 00:16:37 lists but if you scroll all the way over

00:16:37 00:16:40 be the first one actually there we are
00:16:38 00:16:42 the first one yoga mat this is all the
00:16:40 00:16:44 words that we put in there and again you
00:16:42 00:16:46 know you want to take the time to filter

00:18:24 00:18:29 drop-down of all of your products which
00:18:26 00:18:31 is amazing time saver then when you're
00:18:29 00:18:33 done you can actually re-upload them
00:18:31 00:18:36 again through jungle scout to seller
00:18:33 00:18:38 central so a huge time-saver no having
00:18:36 00:18:40 to copy and paste back and forth so I'm

00:19:31 00:19:35 just do do you duplicate it down to the
00:19:33 00:19:37 words and you want to just make sure to
00:19:35 00:19:40 write in the words the individual words
00:19:37 00:19:41 into your listing it doesn't necessarily
00:19:40 00:19:43 matter if they're in the in the phrases
00:19:41 00:19:45 but sometimes I do maintain the phrases
00:19:43 00:19:49 and put the most important phrases in my
00:19:45 00:19:49 in my title just not only for the search
00:19:49 00:19:51 engine
00:19:49 00:19:52 but also for people searching for that
00:19:51 00:19:54 because they're looking for those those
00:19:52 00:19:55 important phrases that get a lot of
00:19:54 00:19:57 search fine they see that phrase in this
00:19:55 00:20:00 title they're gonna click on there
00:19:57 00:20:01 anymore like that you click on it so I'm
00:20:00 00:20:03 just gonna leave it at you know just
00:20:01 00:20:05 removing duplicates and I'll hit process
00:20:03 00:20:08 and so these are all the individual
00:20:05 00:20:10 words here that are just deduplicated so
00:20:08 00:20:11 you don't see yoga you know 20 different
00:20:10 00:20:13 times you only need to write that in
00:20:11 00:20:18 once and so it's gonna be helpful there

00:20:20 00:20:25 most important keywords at the beginning

00:20:28 00:20:32 do is put your brand name right in the
00:20:30 00:20:34 front I from my listings I always
00:20:32 00:20:35 because actually amazon specify so
00:20:34 00:20:37 that's what they want you to do is put
00:20:35 00:20:39 your brand name and then go into the
00:20:37 00:20:41 keywords so I always put my brand name
00:20:39 00:20:42 on there cuz when I wasn't doing that I
00:20:41 00:20:45 realized other people were ranking
00:20:42 00:20:48 higher for my product under my brand
00:20:45 00:20:50 name so I was like okay I make sure but
00:20:48 00:20:54 that in the beginning so maybe it's um
00:20:50 00:21:01 you know yogi Matz is my company name
00:20:54 00:21:01 I'll put yoga mats yoga mat or non-slip
00:21:02 00:21:06 maybe it's partikulars I'm not really
00:21:04 00:21:09 sure anything about yoga actually but um
00:21:06 00:21:12 any of the keywords that you write it in
00:21:09 00:21:16 there are going to be marked off so if

00:21:29 00:21:35 you want to write in as many relevant
00:21:32 00:21:37 keywords into this title as possible and
00:21:35 00:21:40 then going down here these are all your
00:21:37 00:21:43 bullets so whenever you you write the
00:21:40 00:21:46 different bullets you can say the best
00:21:43 00:21:53 you know best sometimes I do caps best
00:21:46 00:21:55 non-slip mat yoga mat so you can I
00:21:53 00:21:56 always do the caps first because it
00:21:55 00:21:58 highlights whatever it is because a lot
00:21:56 00:22:00 of people like to long didn't read yet
00:21:58 00:22:01 so you know you can see that kind of a

00:22:01 00:22:04 and then if you for those people who
00:22:02 00:22:06 like all the details I go into more

00:22:10 00:22:13 description if you don't have enhanced
00:22:12 00:22:16 access to enhance brand content you can
00:22:13 00:22:18 write your description down here and
00:22:16 00:22:22 then also you can add in your back-end
00:22:18 00:22:24 search terms up to 250 characters for
00:22:22 00:22:26 those you would basically add in all the
00:22:24 00:22:27 keywords that you didn't mention already
00:22:26 00:22:29 because you don't have to mention if you
00:22:27 00:22:31 want more than once which is why you
00:22:29 00:22:32 have the used keywords section two
00:22:31 00:22:33 already
00:22:32 00:22:35 to tell you what keywords you've already
00:22:33 00:22:37 used exactly yeah and that's why I
00:22:35 00:22:39 really love this section because I used
00:22:37 00:22:42 to have to do this manually and have to
00:22:39 00:22:43 figure out what keywords I use and for
00:22:42 00:22:45 anyone who's writing listings for
00:22:43 00:22:47 someone else they like to have the
00:22:45 00:22:49 keywords that you used highlighted so
00:22:47 00:22:51 this helps you so much because you know
00:22:49 00:22:52 you've used those and you can even give
00:22:51 00:22:54 them a list of all the used keywords
00:22:52 00:22:55 that you've written by just you hit this
00:22:54 00:22:58 and it copies it to your clipboard
00:22:55 00:22:59 definitely yeah yeah four titles is you
00:22:58 00:23:02 know one thing I like to do is I like to
00:22:59 00:23:04 split test my titles because sometimes
00:23:02 00:23:06 longer titles work better which have
00:23:04 00:23:07 more keywords so it's your kind of
00:23:06 00:23:09 keyword stuffing your title and
00:23:07 00:23:11 sometimes that works but sometimes
00:23:09 00:23:13 that's like from a customer's point of
00:23:11 00:23:14 view it's like overwhelming and so the
00:23:13 00:23:16 customer doesn't want to click on your
00:23:14 00:23:18 product so sometimes a shorter title
00:23:16 00:23:20 that's more concise straight to the
00:23:18 00:23:23 point easy to read is better so I like
00:23:20 00:23:25 to split test the titles and we do that
00:23:23 00:23:27 by like doing two weeks with a
00:23:25 00:23:29 partikular title and then changing that
00:23:27 00:23:30 title and then doing two weeks with
00:23:29 00:23:32 another title and starting to look at
00:23:30 00:23:35 the reports and analytiks see if it's
00:23:32 00:23:36 improved yeah yeah and it's funny
00:23:35 00:23:38 because I did a contest with my dad who
00:23:36 00:23:40 I saw with and we both wrote a title and
00:23:38 00:23:42 I was like mine's gonna win but his won
00:23:40 00:23:46 and it was very simple his title was
00:23:42 00:23:47 very simple so yeah it's so funny it's
00:23:46 00:23:49 so true because even with my youtube
00:23:47 00:23:51 videos I split tests I've recently been
00:23:49 00:23:53 split testing thumbnails and it turns
00:23:51 00:23:54 out the thumbnails that oftentimes I
00:23:53 00:23:56 don't have any editing and it's just
00:23:54 00:23:59 like a picture normal picture they
00:23:56 00:24:01 convert better because it's just easier
00:23:59 00:24:04 to view it's less click baby it's more
00:24:01 00:24:06 natural I think it's similar with the
00:24:04 00:24:08 YouTube titles these days yeah yeah
00:24:06 00:24:09 totally yes I mean just thinking myself
00:24:08 00:24:11 sometimes I'm reading these I'm like
00:24:09 00:24:13 okay so what is this product if there's
00:24:11 00:24:13 all these random keywords stuffed in
00:24:13 00:24:16 there I have to
00:24:13 00:24:17 kind of figure out and I'll just skip
00:24:16 00:24:20 over that one if I don't think it's
00:24:17 00:24:23 anything you know if I'm just too
00:24:20 00:24:25 confused so yeah it's really sometimes
00:24:23 00:24:26 simple is better and yeah split testing
00:24:25 00:24:28 to use pic Fuu I mean there's there's a
00:24:26 00:24:32 lot of different ways you can go out and
00:24:28 00:24:35 split test but definitely yeah yeah so
00:24:32 00:24:37 yeah so basically you want to write in
00:24:35 00:24:38 all those relevant keywords and anything
00:24:37 00:24:40 that you didn't use but is still
00:24:38 00:24:42 relevant you can put in the back end
00:24:40 00:24:44 here in your search terms so you'll know
00:24:42 00:24:45 that you haven't used them because they
00:24:44 00:24:47 won't be in they used search terms right
00:24:45 00:24:49 here you'll still see them up here from
00:24:47 00:24:51 the list so every time you use a word
00:24:49 00:24:53 it'll be removed from this list and
00:24:51 00:24:55 removed down to the use keywords same
00:24:53 00:24:57 with the phrases any any used phrases
00:24:55 00:24:58 will go down to the bottom if you're
00:24:57 00:25:01 doing it writing in different phrases

00:25:19 00:25:22 strap because you know people probably
00:25:21 00:25:24 do want its carrying strap and maybe
00:25:22 00:25:26 they're looking for a yoga mat with a
00:25:24 00:25:28 strap so lots of really relevant things
00:25:26 00:25:30 that you want to write in there this
00:25:28 00:25:32 listing optimization score on the left
00:25:30 00:25:35 is something to help with God guiding
00:25:32 00:25:37 you it says on the title for example 80
00:25:35 00:25:39 to 150 characters and that's kind of a
00:25:37 00:25:41 range because some some categories you
00:25:39 00:25:43 can only write in 80 characters whereas
00:25:41 00:25:46 others you can put more so we kind of
00:25:43 00:25:47 use that as a guide we want to use as
00:25:46 00:25:49 many characters as possible obviously
00:25:47 00:25:50 but you know what category you're
00:25:49 00:25:52 selling in especially if your clothing
00:25:50 00:25:55 it's it's 80 and that's it so you want
00:25:52 00:25:57 to just stop at 80 and then basically we
00:25:55 00:25:59 kind of grade you on how many keywords
00:25:57 00:26:01 from your list that you use this is the
00:25:59 00:26:02 percentage of keywords from this list
00:26:01 00:26:05 that you created that you actually used
00:26:02 00:26:08 in your your listing your description
00:26:05 00:26:09 you've got a lot of space down here to
00:26:08 00:26:12 add in a bunch of relevant information
00:26:09 00:26:15 and so you want to use as many
00:26:12 00:26:17 characters as you as possible down there
00:26:15 00:26:21 and I still have been able to put some
00:26:17 00:26:24 little HTML bits in there like page
00:26:21 00:26:26 breaks I don't know how you feel about
00:26:24 00:26:28 the HTML in the description but
00:26:26 00:26:30 I love it I think it's really important
00:26:28 00:26:32 because otherwise you have a sentence
00:26:30 00:26:34 that goes from one end of the page all
00:26:32 00:26:35 the way to the other whereas if you have
00:26:34 00:26:38 a page break you can just have a very
00:26:35 00:26:40 clear like short paragraph it's easier
00:26:38 00:26:43 to read I think yeah exactly so yeah I
00:26:40 00:26:46 always do the little page break HTML in
00:26:43 00:26:48 there as well so yeah and then your
00:26:46 00:26:51 product features these are your bullets
00:26:48 00:26:55 that are on here so if I go on to this
00:26:51 00:26:57 listing right here as you can see this
00:26:55 00:26:59 listing has great photos and then it has
00:26:57 00:27:00 a good amount of copyright here so
00:26:59 00:27:03 they've probably been able to get a lot
00:27:00 00:27:06 of good keywords in there their title is
00:27:03 00:27:08 actually pretty simple too if I go back
00:27:06 00:27:10 some of the titles I've notiked were a
00:27:08 00:27:12 bit you know they're a bit wordy this
00:27:10 00:27:12 one's pretty wordy but it's actually
00:27:12 00:27:15 pretty good
00:27:12 00:27:17 got non-slip texture Pro yoga mat
00:27:15 00:27:18 eco-friendly exercise and workout mat
00:27:17 00:27:20 with carrying straps so you know exactly
00:27:18 00:27:22 what this is and it's got all these
00:27:20 00:27:25 great keywords in it so I would say
00:27:22 00:27:27 that's a pretty good title but some of
00:27:25 00:27:29 them just I've notiked in Amazon just
00:27:27 00:27:30 lots of stuffing that you're like what
00:27:29 00:27:34 is this yeah there's a difference
00:27:30 00:27:35 between having a title that is long but
00:27:34 00:27:37 with like just a bunch of random
00:27:35 00:27:40 keywords versus a long title like this
00:27:37 00:27:42 one that actually is legible like it
00:27:40 00:27:42 actually makes sense it's irrelevant to
00:27:42 00:27:45 the buyer
00:27:42 00:27:47 so I think for me like my number one tip
00:27:45 00:27:49 you know with listings is is go and
00:27:47 00:27:51 model the best sellers you know they're
00:27:49 00:27:52 the best sellers for a reason go and see
00:27:51 00:27:54 what's working for them look at their
00:27:52 00:27:56 titles look at their keywords you know
00:27:54 00:27:59 jungle scout can help you pull their
00:27:56 00:28:01 keywords that's the best way to figure
00:27:59 00:28:04 out what's going to work for you yeah
00:28:01 00:28:05 definitely and yeah even though you can
00:28:04 00:28:06 pull those keywords from listing
00:28:05 00:28:09 definitely look at them like you're
00:28:06 00:28:11 saying because there's a lot of little
00:28:09 00:28:14 little tidbits you can get like the
00:28:11 00:28:15 reviews I always look at the reviews to
00:28:14 00:28:18 see what people are saying so I can
00:28:15 00:28:20 write kind of the opposite so say their
00:28:18 00:28:22 yoga mat doesn't have a carrying strap
00:28:20 00:28:24 and people really are annoyed with it
00:28:22 00:28:26 doesn't have a carrying strap but yours
00:28:24 00:28:27 does you're gonna you know write that
00:28:26 00:28:29 into your listing and make sure that's
00:28:27 00:28:32 one of those main points that you have
00:28:29 00:28:33 so yeah it's really really important to
00:28:32 00:28:35 look at these top competitors even
00:28:33 00:28:38 without the tools and just kind of skim
00:28:35 00:28:40 over what are they asking and you know
00:28:38 00:28:42 what questions are people asking
00:28:40 00:28:45 at the bottom these customer questions
00:28:42 00:28:46 give you so much insight about what
00:28:45 00:28:48 people want to know about that product
00:28:46 00:28:50 that even these top-rated people or
00:28:48 00:28:52 sellers have not even written in there
00:28:50 00:28:54 so I use the customer questions and
00:28:52 00:28:56 answers and I like to sort through all
00:28:54 00:28:58 the reviews and find all the kind of
00:28:56 00:29:01 different reviews that and just to get
00:28:58 00:29:03 some ideas on how to write the listing
00:29:01 00:29:05 so clearly the listing builder is
00:29:03 00:29:07 something that's amazing to help kind of
00:29:05 00:29:09 scaffold you and guide you getting all
00:29:07 00:29:10 those keywords in there and all of that
00:29:09 00:29:13 stuff that you've also got to kind of
00:29:10 00:29:15 think a customer is reading this listing
00:29:13 00:29:17 they are the ones that are ultimately
00:29:15 00:29:20 going to hit click to purchase not the
00:29:17 00:29:21 search algorithm so I think a lot of
00:29:20 00:29:23 people are like oh just the search
00:29:21 00:29:26 algorithm and you put all these keywords
00:29:23 00:29:28 in there but you are trying to sell to
00:29:26 00:29:29 customers and they are they're the
00:29:28 00:29:32 number one people that you want to show
00:29:29 00:29:35 the showcase your product to so I always
00:29:32 00:29:37 great piece of advice yeah yeah and I
00:29:35 00:29:39 think though it's also you know I like
00:29:37 00:29:40 to always say you know especially with
00:29:39 00:29:43 your bullet points just remember that
00:29:40 00:29:45 people don't just buy the features of
00:29:43 00:29:48 the product they buy with their emotions
00:29:45 00:29:50 and so tap into okay if it's high
00:29:48 00:29:51 quality what does that mean for the
00:29:50 00:29:52 customer does that mean that they're
00:29:51 00:29:54 gonna end up saving money because they
00:29:52 00:29:57 don't have to buy this product once
00:29:54 00:29:58 every few months if it's you know safe
00:29:57 00:30:00 for kids what does that mean for the
00:29:58 00:30:01 customer you know they try and figure
00:30:00 00:30:03 out how you can tap more into the
00:30:01 00:30:05 emotions you can still leverage the
00:30:03 00:30:08 keywords but also always keeping in mind
00:30:05 00:30:09 that ultimately you know the purchasing
00:30:08 00:30:11 a product there's a lot of psychology
00:30:09 00:30:13 that goes into it and so the more you
00:30:11 00:30:15 can enter someone else's mind and try
00:30:13 00:30:16 and think of what they're thinking when
00:30:15 00:30:19 they're reading your listing if they
