00:00:03 00:00:07 guys I'm super excited about today's
00:00:05 00:00:09 interview because I've got a special
00:00:07 00:00:11 guest Andy Hobday here with us today
00:00:09 00:00:13 I had a pleasure of meeting him a funnel
00:00:11 00:00:16 hacking live some controversy
00:00:13 00:00:18 surrounding him during Garrett J white
00:00:16 00:00:19 speech but I wanted him to come on here
00:00:18 00:00:23 share his experience share his mind
00:00:19 00:00:25 sakes I think his minds is like it's
00:00:23 00:00:26 crazy like some of the things that
00:00:25 00:00:29 you're putting out there right now with
00:00:26 00:00:31 the content you could tell that you had
00:00:29 00:00:33 such an amazing mind shift shift so
00:00:31 00:00:34 we're gonna get into that I want to tok
00:00:33 00:00:35 about his ecommerce stuff that he's
00:00:34 00:00:38 working on right now with his personal
00:00:35 00:00:39 brand and different branding strategies
00:00:38 00:00:42 that he's working on but dude thank you
00:00:39 00:00:44 for taking some time and coming on here
00:00:42 00:00:47 and sharing some your some of your value
00:00:44 00:00:49 yeah absolutely when I what I heard that
00:00:47 00:00:50 you want to have me on your podcast you
00:00:49 00:00:55 know I was a little blown away a little
00:00:50 00:00:58 star-struck sure is all mine but I
00:00:55 00:01:00 quickly want to just recap everybody
00:00:58 00:01:01 kind of like real quick what happened it
00:01:00 00:01:03 was funny because like there was some
00:01:01 00:01:05 controversy after night Garrett Jay
00:01:03 00:01:06 whites think he's a very intense man so
00:01:05 00:01:08 if you guys have never known who Garrett
00:01:06 00:01:11 J what is go check him out he's an
00:01:08 00:01:12 absolute I mean like we were toking
00:01:11 00:01:15 like with some of the guys I mean that
00:01:12 00:01:17 guy is like he has such a aura around
00:01:15 00:01:18 him like when he walked out on that
00:01:17 00:01:20 stage you could just see like he has
00:01:18 00:01:21 such an amazing presence but we're not
00:01:20 00:01:23 gonna go into all like what he does and
00:01:21 00:01:26 all that but go check him out Garrett J
00:01:23 00:01:28 white but it was funny because I don't
00:01:26 00:01:30 know if you know this Andy but when he
00:01:28 00:01:32 kind of had people kind of run up to
00:01:30 00:01:34 each other and like share their thoughts
00:01:32 00:01:35 and and and all that like what you wrote
00:01:34 00:01:37 down in the notebook during the
00:01:35 00:01:39 conference the person that ran up to you
00:01:37 00:01:43 he's a friend of mine named Jordan yeah
00:01:39 00:01:44 it was in his in his pro in his
00:01:43 00:01:46 Brotherhood
00:01:44 00:01:47 so look what kind of how small of a
00:01:46 00:01:49 world because so what happened is we
00:01:47 00:01:50 were writing all these kind of notes and
00:01:49 00:01:53 all these kind of things during his his
00:01:50 00:01:54 presentation and we were supposed to
00:01:53 00:01:56 share them with other people and Jordan
00:01:54 00:01:57 was sitting up at the front a funnel
00:01:56 00:02:00 Hocking live with us he left his seat
00:01:57 00:02:03 ran down towards the back and somehow
00:02:00 00:02:05 ran into you of all people and you told
00:02:03 00:02:08 him I need to share my message I need to
00:02:05 00:02:09 get up onstage I need to do this so I'm
00:02:08 00:02:11 gonna let you kind of take it from there
00:02:09 00:02:13 just share your experience of like going
00:02:11 00:02:16 up on stage like that and for
00:02:13 00:02:18 500 people sharing your message and kind
00:02:16 00:02:19 of just telling your experience of how
00:02:18 00:02:22 it felt being up there and sharing your
00:02:19 00:02:25 message with everybody yeah absolutely
00:02:22 00:02:26 so number one I would just reiterate if
00:02:25 00:02:28 you're watching this and you don't know
00:02:26 00:02:30 who Garrett White is this story will not
00:02:28 00:02:32 only make more sense but it will also be
00:02:30 00:02:34 you know funnier and more inspirational
00:02:32 00:02:37 if you just go and watch some of his
00:02:34 00:02:40 videos and just get a feel for his
00:02:37 00:02:41 energy and what he's putting out but
00:02:40 00:02:44 you're absolutely right Jordan you know
00:02:41 00:02:45 it it was strange it felt literally like
00:02:44 00:02:49 he just walked right out to me like a
00:02:45 00:02:53 magnet and and by that time you know
00:02:49 00:02:54 what was different about Garrett's
00:02:53 00:02:56 presentation compared to everybody else
00:02:54 00:02:58 is that he would go for about these 15
00:02:56 00:03:00 minutes segments and then he would have
00:02:58 00:03:02 everybody write down what they were
00:03:00 00:03:04 feeling what they were learning he would
00:03:02 00:03:07 make everybody sit with themselves as
00:03:04 00:03:09 opposed to just watching the the
00:03:07 00:03:13 president you know the presentation
00:03:09 00:03:15 watch of a speaker speak and for the
00:03:13 00:03:17 second part of his you know he was going
00:03:15 00:03:19 in these 15 minute segments and for the
00:03:17 00:03:22 second part he was speaking about this
00:03:19 00:03:26 idea that no matter what you do in life
00:03:22 00:03:28 there are going to be people that try
00:03:26 00:03:29 and hold you down no matter what you do
00:03:28 00:03:31 in life there's always gonna be people
00:03:29 00:03:33 aren't gonna see the world the same way
00:03:31 00:03:34 as you and are gonna misunderstand you
00:03:33 00:03:36 or gonna warp your words and there's
00:03:34 00:03:39 there's nothing you can do about it it's
00:03:36 00:03:40 part of it's part of reality it's part
00:03:39 00:03:42 of trying to create something bigger
00:03:40 00:03:45 than yourself it's part of stepping you
00:03:42 00:03:47 know out from the status quo and try not
00:03:45 00:03:50 trying to express your uniqueness and
00:03:47 00:03:53 that really resonated with me because I
00:03:50 00:03:54 I've been on a journey you know that
00:03:53 00:03:57 journey for 10 years already you know
00:03:54 00:04:02 I'm 25 years young but from the age of
00:03:57 00:04:05 you know 14 15 16 I feel that I was a
00:04:02 00:04:08 loner for a long time growing up you
00:04:05 00:04:11 know I grew up with a gay dad and I
00:04:08 00:04:13 received some you know you know
00:04:11 00:04:15 kid you know kids bullying me when I
00:04:13 00:04:17 when I was younger especially a milk
00:04:15 00:04:18 mill school you know little 13 12 13
00:04:17 00:04:20 year olds you know they can be ruthless
00:04:18 00:04:22 they know they don't know the difference
00:04:20 00:04:24 and I really only had one friend during
00:04:22 00:04:28 that whole time
00:04:24 00:04:30 and once that and around 15 16 years old
00:04:28 00:04:32 even he said you know I don't want to be
00:04:30 00:04:34 friends with you anymore and and it was
00:04:32 00:04:36 at that point that I really had to start
00:04:34 00:04:39 you know 16 years old take a look in the
00:04:36 00:04:41 mirror and realize you know that how
00:04:39 00:04:43 necessary was to start developing myself
00:04:41 00:04:45 and all that development started to
00:04:43 00:04:46 occur but it was all on the inside and
00:04:45 00:04:48 you know so that's the thing is when you
00:04:46 00:04:49 start self development it was just
00:04:48 00:04:52 really this was around when you were
00:04:49 00:04:55 like 15 16 years old exactly so this is
00:04:52 00:04:57 this is 10 years ago okay right and and
00:04:55 00:04:59 exactly this is one it all kind of
00:04:57 00:05:01 started but you know it takes a long
00:04:59 00:05:03 time for you know there could be growth
00:05:01 00:05:05 happening on the inside but it can take
00:05:03 00:05:07 a long time for that to manifest in you
00:05:05 00:05:09 know of the physical reality or in a way
00:05:07 00:05:11 that you can feel confident expressing
00:05:09 00:05:13 it to others and so for a long time I
00:05:11 00:05:16 just took I took heat from other people
00:05:13 00:05:17 and even to this day you know still some
00:05:16 00:05:20 and so when you know bring us all back
00:05:17 00:05:22 just to you know give us reference that
00:05:20 00:05:24 that does all these things were going
00:05:22 00:05:25 through my mind as Garrett was speaking
00:05:24 00:05:29 this I was writing all this stuff down
00:05:25 00:05:32 and it felt like an entire lifetime of
00:05:29 00:05:35 self growth all condensed itself into a
00:05:32 00:05:38 few words on a page I actually have the
00:05:35 00:05:40 it's actually sitting right here and it
00:05:38 00:05:42 just felt it was concise it was exactly
00:05:40 00:05:45 what I was trying to express and I just
00:05:42 00:05:48 felt this overwhelming you know it was
00:05:45 00:05:50 an urge it was a poll that this message
00:05:48 00:05:51 I had needed to be shared with these
00:05:50 00:05:55 people right now
00:05:51 00:05:58 yeah so so so kind of go into that you
00:05:55 00:06:00 got called up to stage and you felt like
00:05:58 00:06:03 like my question is like what was the
00:06:00 00:06:05 pool that made you like when you wrote
00:06:03 00:06:06 the words down right cuz like the he was
00:06:05 00:06:08 like oh sharing with how to feel like
00:06:06 00:06:11 what made you be like you know I need to
00:06:08 00:06:13 share this with everybody right here
00:06:11 00:06:14 right now look what was that thing cuz
00:06:13 00:06:16 like that's interesting I feel like a
00:06:14 00:06:18 lot of people had a transformations
00:06:16 00:06:21 during his tok he's extremely powerful
00:06:18 00:06:24 man even like his mindset is he's
00:06:21 00:06:25 amazing but what made that pool to you
00:06:24 00:06:27 where you were like you know I need to
00:06:25 00:06:29 get out there I need to share this thing
00:06:27 00:06:30 and we're gonna have to read this
00:06:29 00:06:31 because I feel relieved letting
00:06:30 00:06:33 everybody we're leaving everybody
00:06:31 00:06:36 hanging here what did you say what did
00:06:33 00:06:37 you say so what was that pool were you
00:06:36 00:06:39 like Jordan came up to you
00:06:37 00:06:44 you know I need to I need to do this I
00:06:39 00:06:48 need to get up there yeah like I said I
00:06:44 00:06:50 would say I I'm I've gone through an
00:06:48 00:06:52 incredible amount of growth and change
00:06:50 00:06:55 over the course of the last ten years
00:06:52 00:06:57 and as you know the thing about the
00:06:55 00:07:00 thing the funny thing and the amazing
00:06:57 00:07:02 thing about growth in life you know
00:07:00 00:07:04 personal development in business in
00:07:02 00:07:08 music and whatever it is you're pursuing
00:07:04 00:07:10 is it starts slow and if you keep at it
00:07:08 00:07:12 eventually it starts to pick up speed
00:07:10 00:07:14 and then it starts to grow faster and
00:07:12 00:07:15 you start to hit that exponential curve
00:07:14 00:07:18 and you know so over the course of the
00:07:15 00:07:20 last two three years all of this work
00:07:18 00:07:21 that I've been doing on myself over the
00:07:20 00:07:23 course the last decade feeling like I'm
00:07:21 00:07:27 not getting anywhere has just started to
00:07:23 00:07:29 ramp up and ramp up very quickly and it
00:07:27 00:07:32 just felt like in that moment that I had
00:07:29 00:07:36 so much energy inside of me that I
00:07:32 00:07:40 wanted to share and I felt that if I was
00:07:36 00:07:42 able to have a voice in that moment that
00:07:40 00:07:43 I could that you know in an instant I
00:07:42 00:07:46 could change people's lives and I and I
00:07:43 00:07:47 truly felt that in my heart and what a
00:07:46 00:07:50 lot of people actually don't realize
00:07:47 00:07:52 about that experience is that Garrett
00:07:50 00:07:55 actually didn't call me up onto the
00:07:52 00:07:58 stage I actually after speaking with
00:07:55 00:08:00 Jordan went and sat back down and then
00:07:58 00:08:02 Garrett was giving people about another
00:08:00 00:08:04 minute or two to write I actually stood
00:08:02 00:08:08 up walked to the front of the auditorium
00:08:04 00:08:09 and even as I was walking up there I was
00:08:08 00:08:11 thinking to myself you know the back of
00:08:09 00:08:14 my head there is this voice like no Andy
00:08:11 00:08:16 what are you doing man and I just I was
00:08:14 00:08:18 just being compelled you know and I
00:08:16 00:08:20 there I was standing face to face with
00:08:18 00:08:22 Garrett and really the only thing I
00:08:20 00:08:24 could get out of my mouth was I am
00:08:22 00:08:27 sliding to share with these people and
00:08:24 00:08:29 after the day after he shared with me
00:08:27 00:08:30 that there's been a lot of people over
00:08:29 00:08:32 the course the last 10 years that I've
00:08:30 00:08:34 walked up to him and asked to share
00:08:32 00:08:36 something and that he has no problem
00:08:34 00:08:37 saying no to people but that he could
00:08:36 00:08:39 feel that this was something different
00:08:37 00:08:41 that it was that I was being compelled
00:08:39 00:08:43 to the stage that it was an energy you
00:08:41 00:08:45 know that was moving through me you know
00:08:43 00:08:47 it wasn't me personally it's something
00:08:45 00:08:48 greater yeah you were having like a
00:08:47 00:08:51 almost like an out-of-body experience
00:08:48 00:08:53 through that kind of yeah
00:08:51 00:08:56 so go ahead and read read what read what
00:08:53 00:08:58 your rodents the suspense everybody is
00:08:56 00:09:00 like they want to know so I thought it
00:08:58 00:09:03 was I thought this was amazing first I
00:09:00 00:09:05 loved it man I can't I can't sure there
00:09:03 00:09:07 are some you know there is some
00:09:05 00:09:09 profanity at home that's cool I just
00:09:07 00:09:11 want to let we're really fine I hope
00:09:09 00:09:14 nobody's offended you're watching this
00:09:11 00:09:15 with your kids yeah yeah Mike if you're
00:09:14 00:09:18 listening to this on the podcast or on
00:09:15 00:09:25 the YouTube channel with your kids mute
00:09:18 00:09:28 this let's see so this is what I wrote
00:09:25 00:09:33 form and then I'll read it verbatim word
00:09:28 00:09:36 for word here it is time to [ __ ] go
00:09:33 00:09:41 people are going to tok [ __ ] [ __ ] them
00:09:36 00:09:45 I love haters I collect them like
00:09:41 00:09:49 pokemon cards so get to work give
00:09:45 00:09:54 yourself permission to go act with your
00:09:49 00:09:57 full heart feel fear do it anyway love
00:09:54 00:09:59 it so good it's so good man so so so
00:09:57 00:10:02 good so I'm kind of giving you a rundown
00:09:59 00:10:03 like after the event happened you're
00:10:02 00:10:05 saying Garrett reached out to you and
00:10:03 00:10:07 you toked to them for a little a little
00:10:05 00:10:08 bit after is there any insights that you
00:10:07 00:10:10 want to share with anybody kinda like
00:10:08 00:10:12 what you guys toked about you don't go
00:10:10 00:10:14 into super detail but I kind of like
00:10:12 00:10:16 what maybe some insights they share with
00:10:14 00:10:19 you maybe like hey a plan that you can
00:10:16 00:10:21 follow kind of taking your message and
00:10:19 00:10:26 what happened there you know to to the
00:10:21 00:10:30 masses yeah you know I would say the
00:10:26 00:10:35 most important thing that I internalized
00:10:30 00:10:43 from my time with Garrett is the idea
00:10:35 00:10:45 that when you speak honestly from your
00:10:43 00:10:48 true self how you truly feel how you
00:10:45 00:10:52 truly see the world if it's truly honest
00:10:48 00:10:55 you're you're going to create one of two
00:10:52 00:10:57 reactions because the thing is when you
00:10:55 00:11:00 when you don't speak true or you warp
00:10:57 00:11:03 your words or you morph them so that
00:11:00 00:11:05 people don't aren't offended or you know
00:11:03 00:11:06 say you fit in a little bit
00:11:05 00:11:09 you can you can hang out in that middle
00:11:06 00:11:11 ground but when you are honest and you
00:11:09 00:11:14 speak the truth you force people to make
00:11:11 00:11:17 a decision about how they feel about
00:11:14 00:11:20 what it is that you're saying and that
00:11:17 00:11:22 is why for example someone like coach
00:11:20 00:11:28 Garrett white can be so so incredibly
00:11:22 00:11:31 polarizing because he is just so honest
00:11:28 00:11:35 and and granted you know he does it in a
00:11:31 00:11:37 very you know sharp and pointed way I
00:11:35 00:11:39 think you can speak the truth without
00:11:37 00:11:40 having to do what Garrett does you know
00:11:39 00:11:43 I think someone like Russell Brunson
00:11:40 00:11:45 also speaks the truth but when you do
00:11:43 00:11:47 that you do force people to make a
00:11:45 00:11:50 decision they have to either say you
00:11:47 00:11:52 know I agree with you I'm with you or I
00:11:50 00:11:55 do not agree with you and I think what
00:11:52 00:11:58 you are saying is wrong and so when I
00:11:55 00:12:01 took from that is if you don't have
00:11:58 00:12:03 people that are coming to you you know
00:12:01 00:12:05 either saying you know just if you don't
00:12:03 00:12:07 have people disagreeing with you you're
00:12:05 00:12:09 not being honest enough because you
00:12:07 00:12:13 can't please everybody in this world and
00:12:09 00:12:15 if you want to develop a true following
00:12:13 00:12:17 you have to be willing to have some
00:12:15 00:12:18 people who don't like you it's part of
00:12:17 00:12:20 the game and I think that's I think
00:12:18 00:12:22 that's really hard for us and it's hard
00:12:20 00:12:24 for me and it's hard very because nobody
00:12:22 00:12:26 wants to be disliked right we we all
00:12:24 00:12:29 want to be liked and in fact it you know
00:12:26 00:12:31 it goes beyond just it's not a small
00:12:29 00:12:34 thing it's worked into our evolutionary
00:12:31 00:12:37 biology basically there's two parts to
00:12:34 00:12:40 it that you know where fear rises one is
00:12:37 00:12:42 real you know a real danger like a tiger
00:12:40 00:12:44 is gonna you know it's gonna eat you or
00:12:42 00:12:46 in the real world somebody you know has
00:12:44 00:12:48 a gun your head or something that
00:12:46 00:12:50 activates your fight fight or flight
00:12:48 00:12:53 system you know where it's like wow if I
00:12:50 00:12:55 don't you know I might die right now but
00:12:53 00:12:57 the other thing is you know you go back
00:12:55 00:13:01 10,000 50,000 years when people were
00:12:57 00:13:04 living in small tribes or even you know
00:13:01 00:13:07 more recently if you were if you were
00:13:04 00:13:09 kicked out of your tribe but you were
00:13:07 00:13:11 essentially dead because you can't
00:13:09 00:13:14 survive on your own so we have this we
00:13:11 00:13:16 have this system within us that is
00:13:14 00:13:18 design our evolutionary biology is
00:13:16 00:13:21 designed to protect us to keep us
00:13:18 00:13:25 within a social system so when people
00:13:21 00:13:27 dislike you it's essentially what your
00:13:25 00:13:29 brain is feeling is I'm gonna die
00:13:27 00:13:32 because of this and that's why it can be
00:13:29 00:13:34 such an intense thing to have people
00:13:32 00:13:36 dislike you or you know if you want to
00:13:34 00:13:39 tok to a cute girl or guy and they
00:13:36 00:13:41 reject you on the spot that is in your
00:13:39 00:13:43 brain equivalent to a tiger attacking
00:13:41 00:13:44 you and I know it sounds crazy but if
00:13:43 00:13:46 you read about it it starts to make you
00:13:44 00:13:49 because people they want to conform
00:13:46 00:13:51 right it's like they don't want to it's
00:13:49 00:13:53 it's the same thing look when you see
00:13:51 00:13:55 one person trying to separate themselves
00:13:53 00:13:57 some of the pack but the whole pack kind
00:13:55 00:13:59 of like doesn't want them back in there
00:13:57 00:14:01 because they're trying to ascend to the
00:13:59 00:14:03 next level it's the same thing with with
00:14:01 00:14:05 Garrett's Garrard speech like you know
00:14:03 00:14:07 it was so evident right and those of you
00:14:05 00:14:09 some of you guys who are inside the
00:14:07 00:14:12 clip-ons community and that all right
00:14:09 00:14:13 like Garrett had such an impactful
00:14:12 00:14:16 speech that it was just like what you're
00:14:13 00:14:17 saying Andy like 50% audience was like I
00:14:16 00:14:17 don't like this I don't want any part of
00:14:17 00:14:19 it
00:14:17 00:14:22 and then the other 50 like resonated
00:14:19 00:14:24 with him like ridiculously well you know
00:14:22 00:14:25 that exactly what you have to do if you
00:14:24 00:14:28 want to make a difference in other
00:14:25 00:14:29 people's lives like you can't be like
00:14:28 00:14:31 the middle-of-the-road person that's
00:14:29 00:14:33 always telling people what they want to
00:14:31 00:14:34 hear right you want to be telling people
00:14:33 00:14:37 what they need to hear and I think like
00:14:34 00:14:39 Garrett does that like tremendously
00:14:37 00:14:41 tremendously well especially with that
00:14:39 00:14:42 speech like you could tell like you you
00:14:41 00:14:44 you I'm sure people have reached out to
00:14:42 00:14:46 you you've seen it right we're 54
00:14:44 00:14:47 literally 50% of that audience was like
00:14:46 00:14:49 no the other one was yes and that's it's
00:14:47 00:14:51 certainly important especially when
00:14:49 00:14:53 you're building a business to to be to
00:14:51 00:14:55 be polarizing right it's like Russell
00:14:53 00:14:57 says you know you have to throw stones
00:14:55 00:14:59 at somebody otherwise why would whats
00:14:57 00:15:03 the reason that people would follow you
00:14:59 00:15:05 absolutely you know so I'm curious to to
00:15:03 00:15:07 hear kind of what your plan is moving
00:15:05 00:15:10 forward I know you're kind of doing some
00:15:07 00:15:12 cool print-on-demand t-shirt stuff I
00:15:10 00:15:14 would love to hear what your what your
00:15:12 00:15:15 strategy is for like this next year
00:15:14 00:15:17 what's your what's your plan or what's
00:15:15 00:15:20 your vision yeah so there there's a lot
00:15:17 00:15:22 on the table right now I would say it's
00:15:20 00:15:25 it's basically breaking down into three
00:15:22 00:15:25 main parts number one I have my music
00:15:25 00:15:28 business
00:15:25 00:15:30 my cousin and I make music together
00:15:28 00:15:33 under the name flow State
00:15:30 00:15:36 the concept behind flow state is it's
00:15:33 00:15:38 this blend of electronic hip-hop and
00:15:36 00:15:41 dance music so it creates this really
00:15:38 00:15:43 fun live atmosphere where we're both
00:15:41 00:15:45 doing live vocals we have some dancers
00:15:43 00:15:47 but then there's also some dance music
00:15:45 00:15:49 production that's worked into it so I
00:15:47 00:15:50 produce all of the music I've been doing
00:15:49 00:15:53 that for five years and then both my
00:15:50 00:15:54 cousin and I do vocals live so flow
00:15:53 00:15:57 state we're based out of Minneapolis
00:15:54 00:15:59 flow state honestly is poppin off here
00:15:57 00:16:01 right now we I mean we played three
00:15:59 00:16:02 shows this last week right after I got
00:16:01 00:16:05 back from fall hacking live which was
00:16:02 00:16:07 insane with everything else that was
00:16:05 00:16:10 going on so the music will definitely
00:16:07 00:16:14 continue forward number two would be
00:16:10 00:16:16 what my dad is doing so my dad has been
00:16:14 00:16:18 in business as a business owner for
00:16:16 00:16:20 about 20 years so I got the
00:16:18 00:16:24 entrepreneurial spirit running in my
00:16:20 00:16:26 blood and he has a company that produces
00:16:24 00:16:28 online training programs for nursing
00:16:26 00:16:30 care staff and family members on the
00:16:28 00:16:34 subjects of Alzheimer's and dementia
00:16:30 00:16:37 care so his programs teach professional
00:16:34 00:16:39 caregivers and family members how to
00:16:37 00:16:42 care and communicate for somebody that
00:16:39 00:16:44 has Alzheimer's disease and his programs
00:16:42 00:16:46 are making a huge difference already in
00:16:44 00:16:49 this country in Canada around the world
00:16:46 00:16:52 very impactful and so what I want to do
00:16:49 00:16:55 with my growing understanding of funnels
00:16:52 00:16:57 is help him automate the process of
00:16:55 00:16:58 getting that message and those programs
00:16:57 00:17:02 out to the most amount of people
00:16:58 00:17:04 possible and and as and if if that
00:17:02 00:17:06 wasn't enough now there's this personal
00:17:04 00:17:10 brand thing that I just pulled out of
00:17:06 00:17:11 thin air which I've launched I launched
00:17:10 00:17:13 a funnel and a personal brand in one
00:17:11 00:17:16 week which on top of everything else I'm
00:17:13 00:17:18 doing was truly the hardest thing I've
00:17:16 00:17:20 ever had to do in such a short period of
00:17:18 00:17:21 time I've said it a couple of times but
00:17:20 00:17:23 over the course the last week I've
00:17:21 00:17:25 broken down a couple times once to my
00:17:23 00:17:28 sister wants to my cousin just crying
00:17:25 00:17:31 because it was so hard but it's all
00:17:28 00:17:34 worth it I got a t-shirt out now like
00:17:31 00:17:36 that down below I picked up a t-shirt is
00:17:34 00:17:38 good you get to describe the t-shirt
00:17:36 00:17:40 it's awesome yeah yeah so the t-shirt
00:17:38 00:17:43 says collecting haters like pokemon
00:17:40 00:17:46 cards it's got a unicorn
00:17:43 00:17:48 it it's pretty sweet one thing I would
00:17:46 00:17:51 say is that if you see one one is this
00:17:48 00:17:53 gonna go live Peter this podcast I will
00:17:51 00:17:55 put this live within a few days okay
00:17:53 00:17:57 cool yeah so that so the only thing is
00:17:55 00:18:00 that this partikular design is only
00:17:57 00:18:02 going to be its exclusive design that's
00:18:00 00:18:03 only going to be available for one week
00:18:02 00:18:06 okay here's today we need to get it up
00:18:03 00:18:08 tomorrow when you see this if you're
00:18:06 00:18:11 interested you can find me on Facebook
00:18:08 00:18:12 at Andy Hobday and I'm sure Peter will
00:18:11 00:18:15 leave you some info and you can also
00:18:12 00:18:17 find my website andrew Hobday comm that
00:18:15 00:18:19 will redirect to the where you can hear
00:18:17 00:18:21 a little bit more about my message and
00:18:19 00:18:23 check out the t-shirt as well yes I'm
00:18:21 00:18:26 curious with your personal brand have
00:18:23 00:18:28 you ever done anything like you know on
00:18:26 00:18:30 camera before like any sharing messages
00:18:28 00:18:32 or podcasting or any stuff like this is
00:18:30 00:18:34 all new to you yeah I mean I would say
00:18:32 00:18:36 for the most part this is brand new
00:18:34 00:18:38 within the last month or so I've started
00:18:36 00:18:41 doing you know little video snippets for
00:18:38 00:18:42 Flo stay for my music project but as far
00:18:41 00:18:45 as recording in front of a camera
00:18:42 00:18:47 hopping on a podcast I'm just winging it
00:18:45 00:18:49 here and just doing doing it feels right
00:18:47 00:18:53 and I haven't done it before but I
00:18:49 00:18:56 definitely see a future I I know that I
00:18:53 00:18:59 have the potential to impact lives in a
00:18:56 00:19:01 positive way and my goal that is my goal
00:18:59 00:19:04 and I've seen it occurring in my life
00:19:01 00:19:07 with the people around me that become
00:19:04 00:19:10 inspired by you know what we're doing
00:19:07 00:19:11 with Flo state and just by my energy and
00:19:10 00:19:14 stuff and and I want to share that and
00:19:11 00:19:16 have a chance for others to you know be
00:19:14 00:19:17 activated and inspired within themselves
00:19:16 00:19:19 to chase their dreams so that's that's
00:19:17 00:19:22 really the goal you're gonna see man
00:19:19 00:19:24 like I started you know putting out my
00:19:22 00:19:26 podcast u2 about like a year about a
00:19:24 00:19:29 year and a few months ago and it's funny
00:19:26 00:19:31 looking back at those videos and
00:19:29 00:19:33 somebody I was a completely different
00:19:31 00:19:35 person like energy levels were down here
00:19:33 00:19:37 so I can't wait to see like a year from
00:19:35 00:19:39 now man you're gonna be like a beast but
00:19:37 00:19:41 I'm telling you man like I love your
00:19:39 00:19:43 message I love what you're doing if
00:19:41 00:19:45 anybody obviously wants to connect with
00:19:43 00:19:47 you just head over to his Facebook andy
00:19:45 00:19:49 Hobday i will also link his t-shirt pick
00:19:47 00:19:51 yourself up one I got my cell phone I
00:19:49 00:19:53 love the message and the meaning behind
00:19:51 00:19:54 that shirt so definitely pick yourself
00:19:53 00:19:56 up one as well
00:19:54 00:19:59 but any any last words
00:19:56 00:20:01 or anybody here I know there's a lot of
00:19:59 00:20:03 people and I think this is this great
00:20:01 00:20:06 message coming from you like a lot of
00:20:03 00:20:07 people I know with within our space with
00:20:06 00:20:08 e-commerce they're just getting started
00:20:07 00:20:10 in their business and they're always
00:20:08 00:20:12 like doubting themselves they always
00:20:10 00:20:13 don't they don't know if they're on the
00:20:12 00:20:15 right path and a lot of this comes down
00:20:13 00:20:17 to like belief like belief in yourself
00:20:15 00:20:20 that you are on the right path and doing
00:20:17 00:20:21 the things that you need to do and not
00:20:20 00:20:23 like necessarily questioning that that's
00:20:21 00:20:25 where that true belief in yourself comes
00:20:23 00:20:26 in but you have any any message to those
00:20:25 00:20:29 people that may be just getting started
00:20:26 00:20:31 in their first business struggling to
00:20:29 00:20:35 make an impact and put their financials
00:20:31 00:20:37 and their family's life mm-hmm yeah
00:20:35 00:20:39 actually where I was just toking about
00:20:37 00:20:45 this on another podcast the other day I
00:20:39 00:20:46 would say that idea of self confidence
00:20:45 00:20:50 you know believing one's self that's
00:20:46 00:20:53 that's really the core of what this is
00:20:50 00:20:56 all about but I I think people get
00:20:53 00:20:58 caught up because I think they go about
00:20:56 00:21:00 it the wrong way I think I think a lot
00:20:58 00:21:04 of people think that self confidence is
00:21:00 00:21:07 this thing that you can attack directly
00:21:04 00:21:10 that like by trying to hide yourself up
00:21:07 00:21:11 that you all of a sudden just feel like
00:21:10 00:21:14 you have the confidence to do what you
00:21:11 00:21:17 need to do and and though motivation is
00:21:14 00:21:19 important I I come about I just see it a
00:21:17 00:21:22 little differently I see that you kind
00:21:19 00:21:24 of follow another path and and self
00:21:22 00:21:27 confidence is developed as a byproduct
00:21:24 00:21:32 and I would say there's two main things
00:21:27 00:21:36 number one you you gotta get absolutely
00:21:32 00:21:38 sold and certain on what it is you want
00:21:36 00:21:41 out of life and that doesn't mean that
00:21:38 00:21:43 you need to necessarily know for certain
00:21:41 00:21:45 the type of business you want to pursue
00:21:43 00:21:46 because you know you people go through
00:21:45 00:21:48 you know there's tons of successful
00:21:46 00:21:50 people that go through you know 20 30
00:21:48 00:21:53 businesses over the course of a few
00:21:50 00:21:54 years or more and so I would say you
00:21:53 00:21:57 know if you don't know your exact path
00:21:54 00:21:58 that's okay I don't think anybody you
00:21:57 00:22:00 know I think people have visions but
00:21:58 00:22:02 life is what happens when we're making
00:22:00 00:22:03 other plans right I got all these other
00:22:02 00:22:05 plans and all of a sudden this thing
00:22:03 00:22:07 happens in funnel hacking live and now I
00:22:05 00:22:08 have this you know different path so
00:22:07 00:22:10 it's not necessarily
00:22:08 00:22:12 that you have to have your whole path
00:22:10 00:22:14 your whole life figured out but you but
00:22:12 00:22:17 I do think it's really really important
00:22:14 00:22:19 to become clear on what it is you're
00:22:17 00:22:23 trying to accomplish you know what what
00:22:19 00:22:25 is your main goal for me to activate and
00:22:23 00:22:28 inspire others is kind of my motto and
00:22:25 00:22:31 it's what drives me to do everything I
00:22:28 00:22:33 do you might have a similar vision or
00:22:31 00:22:34 your vision could be that you just want
00:22:33 00:22:37 to provide a great life for your family
00:22:34 00:22:38 or your vision could be that you want to
00:22:37 00:22:40 travel to the most amount of countries
00:22:38 00:22:42 possible or your vision could be that
00:22:40 00:22:43 you want to grow a business to ten
00:22:42 00:22:46 million dollars you know what I mean it
00:22:43 00:22:48 doesn't really matter what it is it's
00:22:46 00:22:49 just that it has to you have to get
00:22:48 00:22:52 clear on what that is and you have to
00:22:49 00:22:53 really want it so that that's really the
00:22:52 00:22:55 core of it and I think there's a lot of
00:22:53 00:22:57 books out there that can help you get
00:22:55 00:22:58 that figured out there's a lot of people
00:22:57 00:23:01 I'm one of my favorites is thinking Grow
00:22:58 00:23:03 Rich by Napoleon Hill I know a lot of
00:23:01 00:23:05 people have heard that the name of that
00:23:03 00:23:07 book and maybe have read it or skimmed
00:23:05 00:23:10 it but literally that book is is like my
00:23:07 00:23:11 Bible I've read it 20 times I I mean I
00:23:10 00:23:13 have gone over and over I've done
00:23:11 00:23:15 exactly what it says I've written out
00:23:13 00:23:17 things I mean it's incredible
00:23:15 00:23:19 I wrote out basically a mission
00:23:17 00:23:22 statement a one-page mission statement
00:23:19 00:23:24 you know three years ago and almost to
00:23:22 00:23:26 the word it has come true I literally
00:23:24 00:23:28 wrote three years ago on a piece of
00:23:26 00:23:32 paper that I would be a touring musician
00:23:28 00:23:34 by 26 I'm turning 26 in three weeks and
00:23:32 00:23:38 this summer we're going on a tour it
00:23:34 00:23:41 truly so getting sold on what you want
00:23:38 00:23:46 and then it comes the part about fear so
00:23:41 00:23:49 we all face fear it everybody has it I
00:23:46 00:23:52 have it you have it you know Garrett has
00:23:49 00:23:54 it you know any public figure any large
00:23:52 00:23:56 person anyone who's ever done anything
00:23:54 00:23:58 great has experienced fear and not just
00:23:56 00:24:00 once every single day it's part of the
00:23:58 00:24:02 process so number one if you're feeling
00:24:00 00:24:03 fear about what you're doing just
00:24:02 00:24:05 understand that we are all in the same
00:24:03 00:24:08 boat we're all with you in that
00:24:05 00:24:09 experience it's it's not something that
00:24:08 00:24:10 you need to be you don't need to be
00:24:09 00:24:12 afraid of the fact that you're feeling
00:24:10 00:24:15 fear because we're all in that together
00:24:12 00:24:17 but it is there and it needs to be
00:24:15 00:24:20 addressed and the way that I've seen it
00:24:17 00:24:22 unfold in my life is that instead of
00:24:20 00:24:24 trying to take
00:24:22 00:24:26 as this one big thing where you just had
00:24:24 00:24:28 this huge amount of fear you're just
00:24:26 00:24:31 trying to tackle it all at once
00:24:28 00:24:33 break it down into little little steps
00:24:31 00:24:35 you know I mean take it all down just
00:24:33 00:24:39 face one little thing at a time like for
00:24:35 00:24:41 example I you know I'm kind of scared in
00:24:39 00:24:43 a way of the fact that now I need to
00:24:41 00:24:44 start a podcast there's something in me
00:24:43 00:24:46 that's a little bit in me that's trying
00:24:44 00:24:48 to hold me back for whatever reason from
00:24:46 00:24:52 doing that that needs to be addressed
00:24:48 00:24:54 and each time that you are able to move
00:24:52 00:24:56 past one of those little hurdles that is
00:24:54 00:24:58 the beat that is the genesis of
00:24:56 00:25:02 self-confidence and if you continue to
00:24:58 00:25:04 every day do something that scares you
00:25:02 00:25:06 over a long period of time all of a
00:25:04 00:25:08 sudden you will wake up one day and you
00:25:06 00:25:10 will you will be powerful beyond
00:25:08 00:25:12 anything you can imagine mm-hmm no
00:25:10 00:25:14 that's that's amazing advice it comes
00:25:12 00:25:16 down to you know like all great
00:25:14 00:25:18 entrepreneurs anybody that's ever done
00:25:16 00:25:20 anything great has become comfortable
00:25:18 00:25:22 being uncomfortable and then not enough
00:25:20 00:25:25 people put themselves in situations on a
00:25:22 00:25:27 daily basis where they are uncomfortable
00:25:25 00:25:29 until those uncomfortable things right
00:25:27 00:25:31 like become comfortable right and that's
00:25:29 00:25:33 that's how you change and evolve like as
00:25:31 00:25:34 a human being and hitting your goals and
00:25:33 00:25:36 I think that's an amazing point too is
00:25:34 00:25:38 like I love journaling clay I've been
00:25:36 00:25:40 journaling for like six seven years I
00:25:38 00:25:42 can go look back at some of those things
00:25:40 00:25:44 that you write down like what are those
00:25:42 00:25:45 goals like where does five-year goals as
00:25:44 00:25:47 year goes that you went ahead and
00:25:45 00:25:49 looking back on that oh my god like I'm
00:25:47 00:25:51 a whole different person than I was so I
00:25:49 00:25:54 love that you said that like you
00:25:51 00:25:55 manifested your own reality and a lot of
00:25:54 00:25:57 people don't believe that but it's true
00:25:55 00:26:00 the second you write it down like your
00:25:57 00:26:01 body like makes a commitment to it you
00:26:00 00:26:03 know what I mean so that's great advice
00:26:01 00:26:06 and I just wanna say thank you again for
00:26:03 00:26:07 jumping on here man I really do
00:26:06 00:26:09 appreciate it and you guys are
