00:00:00 00:00:03 hey welcome back to the channel if you
00:00:02 00:00:04 guys are new here
00:00:03 00:00:06 my name is hayden and on this channel we
00:00:04 00:00:07 tok a lot about business primarily
00:00:06 00:00:10 e-commerce
00:00:07 00:00:10 real estate and a little bit about cars
00:00:10 00:00:12 so
00:00:10 00:00:13 if you guys are returning to the channel
00:00:12 00:00:15 welcome in this video i have something
00:00:13 00:00:16 that has been getting asked here and
00:00:15 00:00:18 there and i wanted to kind of break down
00:00:16 00:00:19 the full story
00:00:18 00:00:21 on kind of the i don't really like
00:00:19 00:00:23 toking about money too much i like
00:00:21 00:00:24 toking about certain examples
00:00:23 00:00:26 and i want to kind of position this as
00:00:24 00:00:28 an example perspective but i want to
00:00:26 00:00:31 tok about my journey with e-commerce
00:00:28 00:00:32 how the actual side of drop shipping
00:00:31 00:00:34 i hate the term but made me a
00:00:32 00:00:34 millionaire and the things that it led
00:00:34 00:00:36 to
00:00:34 00:00:38 which ultimately led to me being able to
00:00:36 00:00:39 do that i want to tok about those
00:00:38 00:00:41 things i want to tok about
00:00:39 00:00:43 how dropshipping is something i actually
00:00:41 00:00:45 shifted away from very quickly
00:00:43 00:00:47 so drop shipping for those who don't
00:00:45 00:00:50 know is the act of doing something
00:00:47 00:00:51 inside of the ecommerce industry where
00:00:50 00:00:52 you are basically
00:00:51 00:00:54 selling a product to someone through
00:00:52 00:00:54 your website wherever that website is
00:00:54 00:00:57 hosted
00:00:54 00:00:58 you run the ads get someone to purchase
00:00:57 00:01:00 and then once they
00:00:58 00:01:01 purchase that's when you buy from a
00:01:00 00:01:02 supplier
00:01:01 00:01:04 now tiknically there's so many things
00:01:02 00:01:06 that are drop shipping but the
00:01:04 00:01:09 traditional sense inside of e-commerce
00:01:06 00:01:10 means long shipping times not too great
00:01:09 00:01:13 from chinese suppliers
00:01:10 00:01:14 i moved away from that i was tiknically
00:01:13 00:01:15 still drop shipping but i moved away
00:01:14 00:01:17 from the
00:01:15 00:01:18 really long shipping time bad product
00:01:17 00:01:20 quality very quickly
00:01:18 00:01:22 because what i learned is your payment
00:01:20 00:01:23 processing history is
00:01:22 00:01:25 everything similar to actually something
00:01:23 00:01:27 we're going to tok about in this video
00:01:25 00:01:28 how your credit is very important so i
00:01:27 00:01:29 wanted to make sure that my customers
00:01:28 00:01:30 had a great experience
00:01:29 00:01:32 because i wanted to make sure that this
00:01:30 00:01:32 was something i could do for years and
00:01:32 00:01:35 years and years
00:01:32 00:01:36 not just for you know a two-month period
00:01:35 00:01:38 of time a three-month period of time
00:01:36 00:01:39 which i saw a lot of people doing i knew
00:01:38 00:01:41 that this was going to be my
00:01:39 00:01:43 entry point into the things that we're
00:01:41 00:01:44 going to tok about in this video
00:01:43 00:01:46 which ultimately led to me doing what
00:01:44 00:01:48 i'm doing today okay
00:01:46 00:01:50 so when i was 15 for those who don't
00:01:48 00:01:51 know the story i was building instagram
00:01:50 00:01:53 influencer pages i had about a million
00:01:51 00:01:55 followers across multiple pages
00:01:53 00:01:57 i was starting dozens of new pages a
00:01:55 00:01:58 month seeing which ones would work for
00:01:57 00:02:00 getting ones that did and just
00:01:58 00:02:02 working to grow that people would pay me
00:02:00 00:02:04 because i had 300 000 followers on one
00:02:02 00:02:06 page 80 000 followers
00:02:04 00:02:08 they'd pay me 30 bucks 50 bucks 200
00:02:06 00:02:09 bucks to promote their e-commerce
00:02:08 00:02:11 product
00:02:09 00:02:12 that is what led me to discover the idea
00:02:11 00:02:14 of e-commerce
00:02:12 00:02:16 and kind of how i could get into that
00:02:14 00:02:16 because a lot of those people were drop
00:02:16 00:02:18 shipping
00:02:16 00:02:19 so through that i met a lot of people
00:02:18 00:02:21 started making some money off those
00:02:19 00:02:23 pages ended up selling some of them
00:02:21 00:02:24 and that is what led me to start
00:02:23 00:02:24 traveling through that i met a lot of
00:02:24 00:02:27 people
00:02:24 00:02:29 got heavily into drop shipping drop
00:02:27 00:02:32 shipping is what made me my first like
00:02:29 00:02:33 wow here's you know month over month
00:02:32 00:02:34 consistency
00:02:33 00:02:36 it took me eight months to make a single
00:02:34 00:02:38 dollar in profit once i figured it out
00:02:36 00:02:39 and it kind of clicked for me
00:02:38 00:02:41 um which again took eight months and i
00:02:39 00:02:41 went broke multiple times in that time
00:02:41 00:02:43 period
00:02:41 00:02:45 um i started making pretty good money it
00:02:43 00:02:46 was like thirty four hundred and profit
00:02:45 00:02:46 one month and it was a little over ten
00:02:46 00:02:48 thousand
00:02:46 00:02:50 then it was twenty thousand and it was
00:02:48 00:02:52 just slowly more and more and it kind of
00:02:50 00:02:53 plateaued around that 25 30 000
00:02:52 00:02:56 mark and i was sitting there for a while
00:02:53 00:02:58 now keep in mind when i say that 20 000
00:02:56 00:03:00 a month i'm toking about in profit i
00:02:58 00:03:02 was doing like 50 to 70 000
00:03:00 00:03:03 a month in revenue there are expenses on
00:03:02 00:03:05 that right so
00:03:03 00:03:07 my take home was a consistent 15 20 22
00:03:05 00:03:08 25 000 a month
00:03:07 00:03:10 kind of would cycle here and there
00:03:08 00:03:10 throughout the year now that was when i
00:03:10 00:03:14 was
00:03:10 00:03:16 16 going on 17 right when i was
00:03:14 00:03:17 17 and a half 18 is when i started doing
00:03:16 00:03:19 youtube stuff traveling then once i was
00:03:17 00:03:19 18 i started posting about e-commerce
00:03:19 00:03:21 because
00:03:19 00:03:23 people kept asking me what i was doing
00:03:21 00:03:25 when i would travel so i'd be in miami
00:03:23 00:03:26 like with all my crazy friends who are
00:03:25 00:03:29 big youtubers and stuff
00:03:26 00:03:31 and here i am nobody at like 16 17 we're
00:03:29 00:03:32 renting crazy cars and on jet skis and
00:03:31 00:03:34 having fun and i was just making my
00:03:32 00:03:35 money off the e-commerce stuff through
00:03:34 00:03:38 drop shipping
00:03:35 00:03:39 and so it led me to be able to travel a
00:03:38 00:03:41 lot at a super young age
00:03:39 00:03:42 it led to me being able to purchase my
00:03:41 00:03:44 first car and i'm going to try and throw
00:03:42 00:03:47 up as many like visual examples in this
00:03:44 00:03:50 as i can my first car which is my bmw m4
00:03:47 00:03:52 absolute dream car mine i still have it
00:03:50 00:03:54 and that was kind of a huge eye opener
00:03:52 00:03:54 because shortly thereafter a few months
00:03:54 00:03:55 after that
00:03:54 00:03:57 i was starting to kind of pick up the
00:03:55 00:03:58 youtube channel i think i had a few
00:03:57 00:04:00 thousand subscribers when i posted the
00:03:58 00:04:02 video with the m4 then i moved to los
00:04:00 00:04:03 angeles and that's when things really
00:04:02 00:04:06 started going
00:04:03 00:04:08 right now before that point before i
00:04:06 00:04:09 actually moved to la
00:04:08 00:04:11 a lot of the people that i had known
00:04:09 00:04:12 from the instagram space were getting
00:04:11 00:04:14 into e-commerce some of them were
00:04:12 00:04:16 getting into software companies and that
00:04:14 00:04:17 actually led to me becoming a part of a
00:04:16 00:04:19 software company
00:04:17 00:04:20 which didn't make me a phenomenal amount
00:04:19 00:04:22 of money at the time it was great
00:04:20 00:04:24 but from the amount of work that was put
00:04:22 00:04:25 in i invested 25 000
00:04:24 00:04:27 which was one of like my first big
00:04:25 00:04:29 investments and at the time that was
00:04:27 00:04:31 huge because remember the 15 000
00:04:29 00:04:33 20 000 a month that i was making there's
00:04:31 00:04:34 tax on that and i grew up in minnesota
00:04:33 00:04:35 where if you're not familiar with the us
00:04:34 00:04:37 state income tax
00:04:35 00:04:38 at the level of money i'm making i
00:04:37 00:04:39 wasn't exactly sure what federal was
00:04:38 00:04:41 back then
00:04:39 00:04:43 um and kind of what bracket but i was at
00:04:41 00:04:47 least in the 30 low to mid 30
00:04:43 00:04:49 plus 9.5 state income tax so uh
00:04:47 00:04:50 almost half of my money pretty close to
00:04:49 00:04:53 half of my money
00:04:50 00:04:54 was going to taxes right and so it was
00:04:53 00:04:57 probably a little less
00:04:54 00:05:00 mid 40s 42 45 during that first year
00:04:57 00:05:02 but so i out of the money that i had to
00:05:00 00:05:03 invest you know i had to pay taxes i was
00:05:02 00:05:04 able to write off some of the
00:05:03 00:05:06 investments and certain things
00:05:04 00:05:08 um i would recommend toking to a cpa
00:05:06 00:05:10 regardless i went ahead
00:05:08 00:05:11 invested into a software business that's
00:05:10 00:05:13 something i ran for about nine months
00:05:11 00:05:14 i personally pocketed probably eighty
00:05:13 00:05:16 thousand dollars it
00:05:14 00:05:17 it got up to the point where he's doing
00:05:16 00:05:18 all right and then the whole partnership
00:05:17 00:05:19 kind of dissolved with the people that
00:05:18 00:05:20 were involved
00:05:19 00:05:22 and it was still a great learning
00:05:20 00:05:23 experience i value that tremendously i
00:05:22 00:05:25 moved out to los
00:05:23 00:05:27 angeles i met a lot more people through
00:05:25 00:05:29 that that ultimately opened my eyes to
00:05:27 00:05:31 really meeting suppliers in person
00:05:29 00:05:32 i flew to china i met suppliers there i
00:05:31 00:05:33 was able to travel the world with some
00:05:32 00:05:36 great friends for multiple months
00:05:33 00:05:38 and i met so many people and that is
00:05:36 00:05:39 what opened up the opportunity because
00:05:38 00:05:40 it wasn't the act of actually drop
00:05:39 00:05:42 shipping
00:05:40 00:05:44 um that made me a huge portion of my
00:05:42 00:05:45 money
00:05:44 00:05:47 but branching that out into real
00:05:45 00:05:48 e-commerce within a pretty quick period
00:05:47 00:05:49 of time
00:05:48 00:05:51 working directly with suppliers so right
00:05:49 00:05:52 now for those who don't know i have two
00:05:51 00:05:54 main brands that i run
00:05:52 00:05:55 one of those we hold inventory for the
00:05:54 00:05:57 other we don't
00:05:55 00:05:59 okay so one of them is tiknically drop
00:05:57 00:06:00 shipping one of them is not
00:05:59 00:06:02 the reason i don't hold inventory for
00:06:00 00:06:03 one of them and that's the biggest one
00:06:02 00:06:05 it's one i've been running for over two
00:06:03 00:06:07 years it's in the health and
00:06:05 00:06:08 orthopedic space the reason i don't own
00:06:07 00:06:10 inventory for that
00:06:08 00:06:12 is because for the product we are
00:06:10 00:06:14 selling our primary couple of products
00:06:12 00:06:16 it does not make sense our shipping
00:06:14 00:06:17 times would not be faster because we
00:06:16 00:06:19 have an amazing supplier
00:06:17 00:06:22 and in all reality our product cost
00:06:19 00:06:24 would barely be any cheaper
00:06:22 00:06:26 so when you factor in let's say you're
00:06:24 00:06:28 getting a product for us at six dollars
00:06:26 00:06:30 right six dollars and 10 cents per unit
00:06:28 00:06:32 if you could get that down to like 580
00:06:30 00:06:33 or 590 a unit a little marginal
00:06:32 00:06:34 difference
00:06:33 00:06:37 but now you're paying for warehouse
00:06:34 00:06:39 space people to manage that inventory be
00:06:37 00:06:41 printing labels packaging
00:06:39 00:06:42 there's an entire operational system
00:06:41 00:06:44 behind that so for us
00:06:42 00:06:46 it made more sense to just drop that
00:06:44 00:06:48 potential headache with that brand
00:06:46 00:06:49 and let a supplier that we do trust and
00:06:48 00:06:51 have a great relationship with
00:06:49 00:06:52 manage that so i've been able to produce
00:06:51 00:06:54 well over 10 million dollars
00:06:52 00:06:56 up to now in sales with e-commerce i've
00:06:54 00:06:57 helped a lot of other people do that as
00:06:56 00:06:58 well
00:06:57 00:06:59 i've also done some stuff through
00:06:58 00:07:00 coaching we have some top-rated
00:06:59 00:07:02 e-commerce programs
00:07:00 00:07:03 that's been a great way to bring in some
00:07:02 00:07:05 additional income in my free time
00:07:03 00:07:06 i want to make it very clear that is not
00:07:05 00:07:07 my main income source that's something i
00:07:06 00:07:10 do on and off
00:07:07 00:07:11 so for an example from november of last
00:07:10 00:07:13 year
00:07:11 00:07:14 until just a few months ago i took a
00:07:13 00:07:15 break from that for like seven or eight
00:07:14 00:07:16 months
00:07:15 00:07:18 because i had so much work to do
00:07:16 00:07:18 especially with all the covent stuff
00:07:18 00:07:20 going on
00:07:18 00:07:22 there was so so much stuff to get done
00:07:20 00:07:23 inside of my actual company so i just
00:07:22 00:07:25 took a break from that but it's
00:07:23 00:07:25 something i enjoyed doing like videos
00:07:25 00:07:28 like this
00:07:25 00:07:30 so ultimately starting with drop
00:07:28 00:07:32 shipping it gave me the base of
00:07:30 00:07:33 cash flow not using that cash flow to
00:07:32 00:07:36 invest what i first did
00:07:33 00:07:37 was use that to travel now i want to
00:07:36 00:07:38 make it clear because i love toking
00:07:37 00:07:39 about this stuff because people always
00:07:38 00:07:41 ask little
00:07:39 00:07:43 pieces of it i want to explain how my
00:07:41 00:07:44 mind works when i was making
00:07:43 00:07:46 good money hundreds and hundreds and
00:07:44 00:07:47 hundreds of thousand dollars and i was
00:07:46 00:07:49 still a miner
00:07:47 00:07:50 i was when i was traveling i wouldn't be
00:07:49 00:07:52 looking up where's the nearest ritz
00:07:50 00:07:54 carlton how do i rent this crazy car and
00:07:52 00:07:55 i would rant but i met the people who
00:07:54 00:07:56 owned the car rental company so i'd get
00:07:55 00:07:58 amazing deals
00:07:56 00:08:01 i was looking at the single cheapest
00:07:58 00:08:02 airbnbs where's the cheapest hotel i had
00:08:01 00:08:04 stayed at motels and i had hundreds and
00:08:02 00:08:05 hundreds of hundreds of thousand dollars
00:08:04 00:08:06 because it was instead of a hundred
00:08:05 00:08:08 dollars a night it was 70 a night i
00:08:06 00:08:10 didn't care i just wanted to be frugal
00:08:08 00:08:12 because when i was starting
00:08:10 00:08:14 i knew that you were in a position of
00:08:12 00:08:14 power from someone i met while traveling
00:08:14 00:08:16 they mentioned this
00:08:14 00:08:18 you're in such a position of power if
00:08:16 00:08:21 you have the ability to not
00:08:18 00:08:22 need to take money out of your business
00:08:21 00:08:24 so for me
00:08:22 00:08:26 i didn't need to pull much money out of
00:08:24 00:08:27 the business and i was able to with all
00:08:26 00:08:29 that additional capital
00:08:27 00:08:30 reinvest in the actual ecommerce stuff
00:08:29 00:08:32 focus more on that
00:08:30 00:08:34 new product creatives new pictures and
00:08:32 00:08:35 videos for the products
00:08:34 00:08:37 starting up new stuff and scaling our ad
00:08:35 00:08:39 spend back then we're working with a lot
00:08:37 00:08:40 of instagram influencers a lot of
00:08:39 00:08:42 youtube influencers
00:08:40 00:08:43 you have to pay for that in advance
00:08:42 00:08:44 right so we'll pay someone three
00:08:43 00:08:46 thousand dollars and then
00:08:44 00:08:48 next week they'll go promote it so it's
00:08:46 00:08:50 an upfront expense unlike facebook ads
00:08:48 00:08:51 or google ads where you have a daily ad
00:08:50 00:08:52 spend budget
00:08:51 00:08:55 it's a little bit of a different
00:08:52 00:08:56 landscape but once i personally got to
00:08:55 00:08:57 the point where i was comfortable which
00:08:56 00:08:59 was when i was
00:08:57 00:09:01 18 about to be 19 i was you know i was
00:08:59 00:09:02 just kind of starting to pull money away
00:09:01 00:09:04 and put it in my own personal account
00:09:02 00:09:06 um it was you know still leaving a lot
00:09:04 00:09:06 of money in the business i was just
00:09:06 00:09:08 tucking that away
00:09:06 00:09:10 and for me i always knew my personal
00:09:08 00:09:12 long-term game was real estate
00:09:10 00:09:14 but i didn't know enough about it i
00:09:12 00:09:15 lived on the beach in california
00:09:14 00:09:17 and my favorite place that i've lived
00:09:15 00:09:18 that condo was just amazing it was a
00:09:17 00:09:21 little overpriced but
00:09:18 00:09:22 uh to me spending like 50 or 60 000 a
00:09:21 00:09:24 year in rent
00:09:22 00:09:25 was worth it because of the location i
00:09:24 00:09:27 was in the people i met there and it was
00:09:25 00:09:28 truly an amazing environment i believe
00:09:27 00:09:30 that that value was
00:09:28 00:09:32 definitely worth it so i just kept
00:09:30 00:09:33 saving that money and i made the
00:09:32 00:09:34 decision i just want to tok about my
00:09:33 00:09:37 financials here as
00:09:34 00:09:38 open as i'm willing to be i personally
00:09:37 00:09:41 made the decision
00:09:38 00:09:43 to purchase a vehicle so up until that
00:09:41 00:09:44 point i just have my bmw
00:09:43 00:09:46 i had financed that car it's actually
00:09:44 00:09:48 still financed it's just building credit
00:09:46 00:09:50 i guess at this point it doesn't really
00:09:48 00:09:52 matter but uh but that vehicle
00:09:50 00:09:54 wasn't much out of pocket my second car
00:09:52 00:09:56 that i purchased
00:09:54 00:09:57 again i don't see this for any other
00:09:56 00:09:58 purpose other two
00:09:57 00:10:00 to try to educate on the financial
00:09:58 00:10:03 decision inside of this i
00:10:00 00:10:05 purchased a 2015 lamborghini huracan in
00:10:03 00:10:10 cash that was a 2310 000
00:10:05 00:10:13 vehicle so 210 000 gone however
00:10:10 00:10:15 i had that vehicle about i'd say
00:10:13 00:10:17 six seven or eight months later i
00:10:15 00:10:19 purchased actually three months later i
00:10:17 00:10:19 purchased a vehicle for a family member
00:10:19 00:10:21 that was
00:10:19 00:10:23 also in cash that was a gift for them it
00:10:21 00:10:24 was something i'd always wanted to do
00:10:23 00:10:26 because they helped me start the
00:10:24 00:10:27 business and kind of just open bank
00:10:26 00:10:28 accounts and stuff like that when i was
00:10:27 00:10:30 a minor
00:10:28 00:10:32 and so a few months after that i had
00:10:30 00:10:34 gone traveling again across
00:10:32 00:10:35 the world had a great time i came back i
00:10:34 00:10:37 was still not ready to invest in real
00:10:35 00:10:38 estate i didn't know enough and i know
00:10:37 00:10:40 that's not an excuse to not start
00:10:38 00:10:41 but i knew what i wanted to do and i
00:10:40 00:10:43 knew that that wasn't going to happen in
00:10:41 00:10:44 california i was already living in
00:10:43 00:10:45 arizona which is
00:10:44 00:10:47 one of the reasons i moved there was for
00:10:45 00:10:50 taxes and real estate kept studying the
00:10:47 00:10:51 market i was renting i moved locations
00:10:50 00:10:52 just so i could learn more about the
00:10:51 00:10:54 different areas
00:10:52 00:10:55 i bought two more vehicles in cash now i
00:10:54 00:10:56 want to make it very clear all these
00:10:55 00:10:58 vehicles i purchased
00:10:56 00:11:00 except for the gift for the family
00:10:58 00:11:01 member that was purely to them because
00:11:00 00:11:02 they deserved it
00:11:01 00:11:04 but the vehicles that i bought for
00:11:02 00:11:05 myself i didn't walk into a dealership
00:11:04 00:11:07 and buy a car
00:11:05 00:11:09 i didn't go to the dmv and pay twenty
00:11:07 00:11:11 thousand dollars in sales tax
00:11:09 00:11:12 i paid zero dollars in tax on my three
00:11:11 00:11:14 extra vehicles i purchased
00:11:12 00:11:16 right i bought the lamborghini huracan
00:11:14 00:11:18 for 210 000
00:11:16 00:11:20 then i bought back to back two days in a
00:11:18 00:11:22 row i bought the audi r8 for 86 thousand
00:11:20 00:11:25 dollars and i bought the nissan gtr
00:11:22 00:11:27 for 48 000 those vehicles i purchased at
00:11:25 00:11:28 a strategic time in the market where
00:11:27 00:11:29 they wouldn't really depreciate
00:11:28 00:11:31 a ton in value i knew i was going to
00:11:29 00:11:32 take a hit on the audi r8
00:11:31 00:11:34 i was going to flip it but i fell in
00:11:32 00:11:34 love with the vehicle so i decided to
00:11:34 00:11:36 keep it
00:11:34 00:11:38 now i moved a chunk of that money into
00:11:36 00:11:40 vehicles the reason i did it in cash is
00:11:38 00:11:42 so that i would feel like i
00:11:40 00:11:43 depleted a lot of my capital which in
00:11:42 00:11:45 turn actually did
00:11:43 00:11:47 work wonders because i wanted to try
00:11:45 00:11:49 this out getting rid of your capital
00:11:47 00:11:51 forces you to make new money and it's
00:11:49 00:11:52 actually a very valuable thing that i
00:11:51 00:11:54 value
00:11:52 00:11:55 now getting rid of money forces you to
00:11:54 00:11:56 keep making new money and you feel like
00:11:55 00:11:58 you don't have it
00:11:56 00:12:00 so i push it into assets and some people
00:11:58 00:12:02 might be like oh a car is not an asset
00:12:00 00:12:03 that's depreciating yeah you
00:12:02 00:12:05 you might have for example i sold the
00:12:03 00:12:06 gtr for 55 000. i owned it for a year i
00:12:05 00:12:08 bought it for 48.
00:12:06 00:12:10 there was expenses on that right i'd
00:12:08 00:12:11 done a wrap on the car and some random
00:12:10 00:12:13 stuff that i could write off and
00:12:11 00:12:14 there was insurance and there was gas
00:12:13 00:12:14 and there was probably 500 bucks of
00:12:14 00:12:18 maintenance
00:12:14 00:12:20 but that vehicle regardless made
00:12:18 00:12:21 me at least break even right i'm not
00:12:20 00:12:23 losing money on the vehicle
00:12:21 00:12:24 and i'm sure i made probably two youtube
00:12:23 00:12:25 videos that each made a few hundred
00:12:24 00:12:27 dollars so
00:12:25 00:12:29 like roughly those vehicles come out to
00:12:27 00:12:29 break even my goal is not to profit with
00:12:29 00:12:31 them
00:12:29 00:12:33 however i'm not gonna go lose a ton of
00:12:31 00:12:34 money in a car it doesn't make any sense
00:12:33 00:12:36 to me
00:12:34 00:12:37 okay and so i was just pushing money at
00:12:36 00:12:38 the end of that year which was a few
00:12:37 00:12:39 months after
00:12:38 00:12:41 i purchased those two additional
00:12:39 00:12:43 vehicles the audi and the nissan gtr
00:12:41 00:12:44 i purchased three properties
00:12:43 00:12:46 back-to-back three months in a row
00:12:44 00:12:48 because i was ready to strike
00:12:46 00:12:49 i saw that there was three opportunities
00:12:48 00:12:51 available they weren't back-to-back it
00:12:49 00:12:52 was you know a month apart
00:12:51 00:12:53 but i saw that there were deals i was
00:12:52 00:12:55 looking looking looking i looked at
00:12:53 00:12:55 someone i was like this is great but
00:12:55 00:12:57 it's not the right deal
00:12:55 00:13:00 pass this is great it's not the right
00:12:57 00:13:01 deal pass i also didn't focus on finding
00:13:00 00:13:02 the best home run deal that made the
00:13:01 00:13:04 perfect sense
00:13:02 00:13:06 i bought high quality properties they
00:13:04 00:13:07 were above what i wanted to pay
00:13:06 00:13:09 because what i wanted to focus on in my
00:13:07 00:13:11 first three deals and this is just real
00:13:09 00:13:13 estate tok here for anyone who cares
00:13:11 00:13:15 the thing i wanted to focus on was
00:13:13 00:13:17 having key areas where the market
00:13:15 00:13:19 rent will also increase as well as the
00:13:17 00:13:20 appreciation for the property
00:13:19 00:13:22 so i could have bought properties in
00:13:20 00:13:24 other locations around where i bought my
00:13:22 00:13:26 rentals that weren't as nice
00:13:24 00:13:28 where the property values were lower but
00:13:26 00:13:29 also the rents were lower so the actual
00:13:28 00:13:30 comp would have been the same
00:13:29 00:13:31 i'm sure it would have been a little bit
00:13:30 00:13:33 less out of pocket because it's a
00:13:31 00:13:35 cheaper property to purchase
00:13:33 00:13:37 but ultimately i wanted those additional
00:13:35 00:13:38 tax benefits i wanted more mortgage
00:13:37 00:13:40 principal paid on every single month
00:13:38 00:13:42 and i wanted more potential upside for
00:13:40 00:13:43 the appreciation now
00:13:42 00:13:44 there's an argument there with the
00:13:43 00:13:46 appreciation but i know those areas
00:13:44 00:13:48 again i waited a long time to buy
00:13:46 00:13:50 so that i really knew the areas that i
00:13:48 00:13:50 was buying it i bought two single family
00:13:50 00:13:52 homes
00:13:50 00:13:54 it went one single family then a duplex
00:13:52 00:13:56 and then another single family
00:13:54 00:13:57 then i didn't see anything else i saw
00:13:56 00:13:59 the prices getting really high
00:13:57 00:14:01 cove instructions wanted to see what was
00:13:59 00:14:02 going on everything's happening right
00:14:01 00:14:05 things are going bananas
00:14:02 00:14:06 markets going crazy from stoks i put a
00:14:05 00:14:08 lot of money in the stok market pulled
00:14:06 00:14:09 a lot out i made a little bit of profit
00:14:08 00:14:10 there
00:14:09 00:14:12 and then what i did is i was waiting i
00:14:10 00:14:13 was waiting i was waiting i was looking
00:14:12 00:14:16 for more investment properties
00:14:13 00:14:17 i didn't see anything in that sub 500
00:14:16 00:14:19 000 price
00:14:17 00:14:20 the market in arizona in my opinion is
00:14:19 00:14:22 becoming way over priced
00:14:20 00:14:23 there's still deals to be had it's just
00:14:22 00:14:26 a very expensive state
00:14:23 00:14:28 in that price range now i decided to
00:14:26 00:14:28 purchase home which is where i'm sitting
00:14:28 00:14:30 right now
00:14:28 00:14:32 for myself for slightly under a million
00:14:30 00:14:32 dollars i'm just trying to be as open as
00:14:32 00:14:34 possible here
00:14:32 00:14:37 again this is purely for educational
00:14:34 00:14:39 purposes i view this house
00:14:37 00:14:40 and this class of house where there's a
00:14:39 00:14:41 lot of different deals like this that i
00:14:40 00:14:43 saw
00:14:41 00:14:44 to easily and i'll break this down in
00:14:43 00:14:46 another video where i tok about my
00:14:44 00:14:49 renovation plans that are about to begin
00:14:46 00:14:50 but easily easily valued at a few
00:14:49 00:14:52 hundred thousand dollars
00:14:50 00:14:54 more than everybody is selling them for
00:14:52 00:14:56 right now i see that happening because
00:14:54 00:14:59 that smaller priced home sub 5000
00:14:56 00:15:01 had a nice shift those homes were 250
00:14:59 00:15:03 000 220 000
00:15:01 00:15:04 four years ago five years ago now
00:15:03 00:15:07 they're all 375
00:15:04 00:15:09 440 490 000 i
00:15:07 00:15:10 am waiting to see that jump in the
00:15:09 00:15:12 bigger homes because
00:15:10 00:15:14 at the end of the day the house that i
00:15:12 00:15:15 bought i wouldn't have thought twice
00:15:14 00:15:17 about it i wouldn't even have
00:15:15 00:15:19 thought that it was suspicious if this
00:15:17 00:15:22 house was listed for 250
00:15:19 00:15:23 000 more than it was sold for so i just
00:15:22 00:15:25 feel like that class
00:15:23 00:15:27 house has a bump to go up in the market
00:15:25 00:15:28 especially the way the market's going so
00:15:27 00:15:30 we'll see what happens it's like a three
00:15:28 00:15:31 to five year hold for me it's an
00:15:30 00:15:33 investment but also a place of primary
00:15:31 00:15:34 residency for right now
00:15:33 00:15:36 so a lot of fun stuff coming there again
00:15:34 00:15:36 i'll make a video on it but to summarize
00:15:36 00:15:39 this
00:15:36 00:15:40 um the drop shipping for me was an entry
00:15:39 00:15:42 point right it wasn't the only way that
00:15:40 00:15:43 i made that first million dollars
00:15:42 00:15:45 i started even getting into hard money
00:15:43 00:15:47 lending a little bit i had done certain
00:15:45 00:15:47 loans i had been making money in
00:15:47 00:15:49 software
00:15:47 00:15:50 i had done stuff with e-commerce i
00:15:49 00:15:52 started making a little bit inside of
00:15:50 00:15:53 that first million off of youtube
00:15:52 00:15:55 a couple of people who wanted me to help
00:15:53 00:15:55 them with their advertising so coaching
00:15:55 00:15:57 them through that
00:15:55 00:15:58 i think one person had a supplement
00:15:57 00:15:59 company that they were running on click
00:15:58 00:16:00 funnels
00:15:59 00:16:02 which that's what you see this award for
00:16:00 00:16:04 they've got now i think uh
00:16:02 00:16:05 the eight comma club award which means
00:16:04 00:16:06 they were doing all their sales through
00:16:05 00:16:08 click funnels and they did over 10
00:16:06 00:16:09 million dollars in sales which is
00:16:08 00:16:10 awesome to see
00:16:09 00:16:12 so i was able to work with some really
00:16:10 00:16:14 cool people i met clothing companies in
00:16:12 00:16:15 paris i was able to go visit them when i
00:16:14 00:16:15 was there that i helped with their
00:16:15 00:16:17 marketing
00:16:15 00:16:19 it was a lot of fun to meet people be
00:16:17 00:16:20 able to travel because of that
00:16:19 00:16:22 and that unlocks a lot more
00:16:20 00:16:22 opportunities you know even being able
00:16:22 00:16:25 to
00:16:22 00:16:26 to get in the room with ceos of
00:16:25 00:16:27 companies worth tens of billions of
00:16:26 00:16:29 dollars
00:16:27 00:16:31 people who work with the top celebrities
00:16:29 00:16:31 and artists and being able to be around
00:16:31 00:16:34 that
00:16:31 00:16:34 be invited to the parties sitting it's i
00:16:34 00:16:37 think i was
00:16:34 00:16:39 maybe 18 years old sitting in a club
00:16:37 00:16:41 next to wiz khalifa at his table
00:16:39 00:16:43 while my friend is literally walking
00:16:41 00:16:44 over there smoking a joint with wiz like
00:16:43 00:16:46 seeing that stuff
00:16:44 00:16:48 i don't smoke or drink personally but i
00:16:46 00:16:48 mean just seeing that was like it was a
00:16:48 00:16:51 huge
00:16:48 00:16:53 eye-opener and that all came from that
00:16:51 00:16:55 base of first starting
00:16:53 00:16:56 in e-commerce through drop shipping
00:16:55 00:16:58 which which obviously led to multiple
00:16:56 00:17:00 things in the e-commerce space
00:16:58 00:17:01 which led to me being able to network
00:17:00 00:17:02 meet a lot of people because now i had
00:17:01 00:17:04 the money to travel
00:17:02 00:17:06 and i had something going for me that i
00:17:04 00:17:07 could show and
00:17:06 00:17:09 it ultimately led to a lot of different
00:17:07 00:17:11 things and you know for me it's just an
00:17:09 00:17:13 amazing skill to have ecommerce is a lot
00:17:11 00:17:14 of fun i truly enjoy doing it which is
00:17:13 00:17:16 why i do it to this day
00:17:14 00:17:17 and i've been able to continue to
00:17:16 00:17:18 increase doing it at a higher and higher
00:17:17 00:17:20 level
00:17:18 00:17:21 you know back then three thousand five
00:17:20 00:17:23 thousand dollars a day in sales was
00:17:21 00:17:23 great you're making a thousand bucks a
00:17:23 00:17:25 day profit
00:17:23 00:17:27 well i mean now we have periods where
00:17:25 00:17:29 we're crushing 70 to 100 000
00:17:27 00:17:30 a day consistently so it just depends on
00:17:29 00:17:31 the time of the year and what we're
00:17:30 00:17:32 doing with our ads and what our main
00:17:31 00:17:34 focus is
00:17:32 00:17:35 as well as how much inventory that that
00:17:34 00:17:37 supplier can produce so
00:17:35 00:17:39 it's been a lot of fun it's been an
00:17:37 00:17:41 amazing journey um yeah i hope you guys
00:17:39 00:17:43 have followed along here on the youtube
00:17:41 00:17:44 channel i've pretty much shown it all
00:17:43 00:17:46 if you go really far back to the old
00:17:44 00:17:46 videos which are definitely cringy so
00:17:46 00:17:48 don't do that
00:17:46 00:17:50 there's like random vlogs in miami when
00:17:48 00:17:52 i was 15 16.
00:17:50 00:17:54 there's stuff in los angeles when i was
00:17:52 00:17:55 16 and traveling all around and
00:17:54 00:17:57 there's just fun stuff before i started
00:17:55 00:17:59 ever mentioning what it is i do so
00:17:57 00:18:00 you can kind of date all that back but i
00:17:59 00:18:02 think there's like 800 videos on the
00:18:00 00:18:03 channel now which is awesome so
00:18:02 00:18:04 i just want to say i appreciate you guys
00:18:03 00:18:06 if you have any questions i hope this
00:18:04 00:18:07 story time kind of
00:18:06 00:18:09 broke down my journey a little bit
00:18:07 00:18:10 better and answered that question i know
00:18:09 00:18:12 a lot of people have been
00:18:10 00:18:13 asking just for kind of how i move
00:18:12 00:18:15 inside of e-commerce space
00:18:13 00:18:17 people ask if i still dropship and what
00:18:15 00:18:17 it is i do you know you start with one
00:18:17 00:18:19 thing
00:18:17 00:18:21 you slowly build off of that and branch
00:18:19 00:18:23 out and it just leads to other stuff so
00:18:21 00:18:24 it's really been a blessing i have been
00:18:23 00:18:26 having a lot of fun learning
00:18:24 00:18:28 a lot of fun making mistakes it's all
00:18:26 00:18:29 just a good learning experience so
00:18:28 00:18:30 again i hope you guys enjoyed this video
