00:03:20 00:03:23 different images to use that we haven't
00:03:21 00:03:25 uploaded to the asset Library yet or you
00:03:23 00:03:27 can go the unfortunate route of choosing
00:03:25 00:03:29 stok images so I just typed in a
00:03:27 00:03:30 certain keyword here and through
00:03:29 00:03:33 Shutterstok that's what Google is
00:03:30 00:03:35 providing as stok images we can use for
00:03:33 00:03:37 our ads the watermarks will be removed
00:03:35 00:03:39 if you do decide to use them I'm going
00:03:37 00:03:40 to head back to the asset library and
00:03:39 00:03:43 just choose a variety of images here
00:03:40 00:03:45 that one now in this partikular image
00:03:43 00:03:47 that I selected you can see there are
00:03:45 00:03:50 two different types of ratios it has the
00:03:47 00:03:52 1.91 to 1 ratio selected and you can see
00:03:50 00:03:54 I could crop it up and down like this so

00:07:21 00:07:24 too much here sometimes you'll see

00:07:24 00:07:29 and fill in the remaining three spots
00:07:26 00:07:31 here okay I filled in my five suggested
00:07:29 00:07:33 headlines then we can scroll down and
00:07:31 00:07:35 see that we need to to add a long
00:07:33 00:07:38 headline the long headline is 90
00:07:35 00:07:39 characters long just as long as one of
00:07:38 00:07:41 your descriptions but the placement of
00:07:39 00:07:43 the long headline is going to be
00:07:41 00:07:45 different so it should be unique and not
00:07:43 00:07:46 match exactly what you have for your
00:07:45 00:07:49 descriptions so I'm actually going to
00:07:46 00:07:51 take this first description and move it
00:07:49 00:07:53 up to the long headline again the long
00:07:51 00:07:55 headline may appear by itself but it
00:07:53 00:07:57 also could appear with a description so
00:07:55 00:07:59 for the descriptions we can add up to
00:07:57 00:08:00 five of them and I'm going to try to
00:07:59 00:08:03 make them as unique as possible as well

00:08:44 00:08:48 videos and you do not want to use the
00:08:46 00:08:50 video Builder tool within the asset
00:08:48 00:08:52 Library if you don't know what that is

00:08:52 00:08:56 can Auto generate videos for you this is
00:08:55 00:08:58 what they do within the performance Max
00:08:56 00:09:00 campaigns if you don't have a video we
00:08:58 00:09:02 have already included videos within our
00:09:00 00:09:04 ad so auto-generated videos will not
00:09:02 00:09:06 apply but if you did not add video
00:09:04 00:09:07 earlier and you don't want Google to
00:09:06 00:09:10 make something for you you can always
00:09:07 00:09:12 uncheck this box and then the last
00:09:10 00:09:14 additional format option is to use
00:09:12 00:09:16 native formats so a native ad format
00:09:14 00:09:18 will take on the look and feel of the
00:09:16 00:09:20 website or placement that they show on
00:09:18 00:09:22 supposed to match the tone give a more
00:09:20 00:09:24 comfortable feel not necessarily make it
00:09:22 00:09:26 seem like screaming an ad in your face
00:09:24 00:09:29 type style it's something worth testing
00:09:26 00:09:31 however if you're held to very strict
00:09:29 00:09:33 brand standards and you don't want your
00:09:31 00:09:35 ad to change in any way Not only would I
00:09:33 00:09:37 uncheck this because colors could change

00:10:14 00:10:17 the preview part that some ads are
00:10:16 00:10:20 pretty small so you see why it doesn't
00:10:17 00:10:22 fit if I click on more options again you
00:10:20 00:10:24 can choose custom colors and this can
00:10:22 00:10:26 overlap with the native ad placement
00:10:24 00:10:28 option that we just toked about so if
00:10:26 00:10:30 you don't want the native ad placement
00:10:28 00:10:32 colors to override the custom colors
00:10:30 00:10:34 that you may select just on check this
00:10:32 00:10:36 option yes I'm okay with it limiting my
00:10:34 00:10:38 reach but what happens look at our ad
00:10:36 00:10:40 strength we didn't make Google happy so
00:10:38 00:10:41 if you're worried about your ad strength

00:10:41 00:10:45 recommend it just do what's best for

00:12:03 00:12:07 display ads are available on YouTube as
00:12:05 00:12:09 well if I go up to mobile and you're
00:12:07 00:12:11 probably seeing it more and more if you
00:12:09 00:12:13 use YouTube on your mobile device many
00:12:11 00:12:15 more ads within the main home feed so as
00:12:13 00:12:16 you go through the previews again I
00:12:15 00:12:18 pause it so I'm really only looking at
00:12:16 00:12:19 one variant at a time if you hit the
00:12:18 00:12:21 play button it'll start going through a
00:12:19 00:12:23 variety of of options depending on which
00:12:21 00:12:24 placement you have chosen so then you

00:12:47 00:12:52 basic information on how each asset is
00:12:51 00:12:54 doing I'm only showing the first 10 rows
00:12:52 00:12:56 let me expand it to everything so

00:12:56 00:13:01 see the images the logos and even the
00:12:58 00:13:03 videos that I added so these are still

00:13:07 00:13:12 assets anything that is low should be
00:13:10 00:13:14 swapped out and something else should be

00:13:16 00:13:21 each type of category and Frankenstein a
00:13:19 00:13:24 new responsive display ad variant based
00:13:21 00:13:26 upon our best performing assets you can

00:13:26 00:13:30 do have two of each asset type since I
00:13:28 00:13:32 just created it we don't have 14 days

00:14:12 00:14:15 indication for you to start swapping
00:14:14 00:14:18 some of these out it definitely doesn't
00:14:15 00:14:20 give us a lot of information but it's
00:14:18 00:14:22 something to understand which assets in
00:14:20 00:14:24 each of your responsive display ad is
00:14:22 00:14:25 getting the most visibility I'm going to
00:14:24 00:14:27 hop back into the first account

00:14:31 00:14:36 controlled image ads or display ads
