hey everyone, today we'll be showing you a great logo creator that is completely free, brought to you by Shopify. for those of you are not familiar with Shopify, it is a fantastik platform to start your own e-commerce website with. now, to me, a logo must be simple, a logo must be memorable. a logo must be enduring. the design you choose today should still be relevant 20 years from today. and, lastly, a logo must be versatile. it should be able to work across a variety of mediums and applications, and that versatility is why I recommend you use a tool by Shopify. the headful app creates a variety of variations of the logo that you can use in print, on social media and on your website. now let me show you how easy it is to create a professional looking logo and brand. okay, so the first step would be: go to hatch fooled Shopify dot-com. that will open up the actual logo creator. what this will do is it will allow you to pick a industry that you want to be in and a couple of design styles that suits your liking, and, and it will then give you logos based on those choices. when you've selected the logo that you like, you'll enter your email address and they will email you your logo, packaged in the different variations, so you'll have a logo for Facebook, you'll have a logo for YouTube, then you'll have a logo to use on your website. I know they're collecting email addresses, but that's fine. you're getting a very great service here for nothing. it doesn't cost you a cent, and so, anyway, let's get started. so now I have to choose industry. I am gonna go with food and drink, and there we go next, and I have to choose a visual style that you would like your logo to be similar to, and I think you're only allowed to choose three at a time. so I'm gonna go with creative, innovative, and maybe we go with modern. you know we stik with that and they need to give it a business idea, a business name and a slogan. now I'm gonna use one of Shopify's other tools that I also like a lot, and that's the business name generator. so I'll just paste that link in all these links. I'll put in the description bar below anyway. so I'm gonna go with a pizza shop. I think that's an appropriate business to start. so now I have to choose a name: universe pizzas, a cool one, but let's go with New Castle pizza. I'm gonna take that and I'm gonna put the name New Castle pizza and the slogan will be: the best pizza, the best pizza in town. I think that's a cool, cool slogan. click on next. now I select all the formats that you want the logo to be in, and I've selected everyone. and just because it allows me, it gives me that flexibility and versatility that I was speaking about earlier. so click on next, and now they spew you a couple logos that you can scroll through through and choose one that you like. there are a lot of variations, and you can go back and change the categories that you've chosen, and that will obviously affect the logos that they present to you. so, this really endless amount of choices, I actually like this one and so I'm gonna pick that here. you can actually change some of the fonts, change the colors, change the layout to a certain degree, but I'm happy with it as is. I'm gonna say next and at this point, and if you click on download almost certain- and they ask you for your email, that's correct, and I've already. I already have an email that I for an account- I'm just gonna say: sign up, and you'll see that it's already in use. so obviously I have to sign in, which is what I'll do, and then the download should be emailed to you. all right, and here's the logo that was downloaded. you'll see if all the different variations- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube- and then, if you open it up, you'll see your pretty logo. so I hope you guys enjoyed this and, like I say, I use this in my own personal project. it's a real time-saver and gets the project done quickly and professionally.

Free Logo Design Online: Hatchful by Shopify (But is it worth the cost?)

what's up? hair business blueprint? it's your hair business's best friend, mikey. and today i'm going to show you hatchful. it's shopify's logo design template: canva, picmonkey thing. uh, it's a way for shopify to acquire new customers, which will probably be pitching shopify later. but in the beginning you can design a free logo. i haven't touched this, i just found out about it today, so i wanted to give you a first reaction tutorial kind of video to see if it's something you might like. now private label does offer logo services at privatelabelbrandingcom- it's 99. that could be a good option if you don't like what hatchful or some of the other free online logo designers can do for you, or you're just not the creative type. um, not everybody's super creative at designing logos, and that's okay. you know you might be great at business and other important things. so let's take a look at hatchful, shopify's new logo design program. all right, so welcome to hatchful. this is owned by shopify. you don't see shopify's name all over this. it's kind of like incognito shopify, but i know it's shopify. so let's take a look. it's a free logo maker. create professional logos in seconds. you know you can sometimes to design something good out of this. sometimes it might be only average. uh, here's some different logos that were designed on here, i guess. and, of course, create professional logos. you know, unique brand, maybe they come up with colors. we're about to connect and see free social media assets. okay, this is looking good. hundreds of templates: this looks uh, i mean, for free, it's worth its shot, right? so let's take a look at it. 140 000 business owners- uh, it seems so like a lot. uh, let's create a free logo, guys, let's create something for. so i've been doing a lot of uh temp, uh tutorials with tequila bundles, so let's see if we can design a new logo from tequila bundles so they have a bunch of different options here. let's use health and beauty next, bold, calm, reliable. let's do something modern. okay, business names or name tequila bundles. uh, not with a capital. okay, i don't really have a slogan for tequila bundles, so let's just stik with that. uh, where will it be used? yup, yup, i mean, why not physical stores? i don't know if we're gonna have a physical store for tequila bundles, but let's just see what this thing shoots out. okay, we made these logos for you. tequila bundles, not a fan. not a fan, not a fan, do you? okay, if you're watching this. do you like any of these logos? this one's okay. i don't know about the dot dot dot, okay, um, nothing really striking me. this one, actually this one's the perfect logo for tequila bundles, because the way it makes my eyes feel, i feel like i've been drinking tequila. this might be a good one. okay, we might just have to go with that one, because i don't really like any of these other ones. and just to give you guys a tip: like, if you have a logo that has all this area here, this is going to be horrible when you try to put it on your website, because it's going to make the actual words absolutely tiny. like, if you do this, these, these really aren't my favorite logo designs, to be honest with you. i mean, what can you expect? this thing's free. it's just taking a bunch of icons and trying to put it together for you. i mean tea, tequila- yeah, i mean it's. it's trying to have like, the beauty. so that's why you'll see some of these different things. but once again, if, maybe, if this is on a shirt but on a website, this is not gonna look great. yeah, so we have a lot of logos here. let's just choose that one that makes me feel like i'm drunk anyway, drinking tequila, just to see what happens. okay, so, oh my god, yep, okay, so we're gonna go with this and be hungover tomorrow. okay, included in package: high resolution. oh, wow, so it actually will. it's going to go ahead and create all these different things. so let's look at that. it's going to create a favicon, and actually just recorded a favicon video today about, uh, the importance of that high resolution logo with unlimited versions or revisions. profile image, cover photo. okay, so this, this has given us a lot. this is, this is working. so let's go ahead. and let's see. oh, it's trying to sell me the domain too. smart, see. and this is where the tie-in for shopify is looking to start an online store. right, because they know you're getting the logo. so they emailed it to my mikey at hair business channel. please don't email me there, because i never really actually checked that email. so i'm gonna go over and check this out and i'll be right back, okay, so here is the email. it says: hatchful, your files are ready. download the zip. yep, let's go, let's download it. and, once again, this is the plug for shopify, which there's nothing wrong with that, i mean, that's. it's very smart on shopify's part to do this. so let's open this up and see what's in here. okay, so if we take a look here, tequila bundles png. wow, okay. oh, that's your facebook cover. another facebook cover is just a smaller version. uh, let's see the favicon. yeah, that's going to be kind of tiny, so we'd probably want to design something else for the favicon. i'll have a link in the description going over to my favicon video of how to make a favicon, why it's important. but basically, this pretty much has everything you need to get started. this one's supposed to have a transparent background, which is cool. uh, we will need that. so it gives us the twitter, youtube, everything. so this actually is a pretty cool idea. i'm just not a huge fan of the logo options. it could just be the name or something else, but for free, honestly, it's worth a try. okay, i would love to know what you think about hatchful. is this something, a tool, you would use? is this something that looks good? i mean, in all honesty, the concept of it is really good. it's obviously pushing shopify, which is totally fine. it's just another tool to get more recognition for shopify. build the shopify brand. we actually can all learn from this in their tiknique shopify is very smart overall. not a huge fan of the design, but maybe you could find a design. if you go to hatchful and you design a logo, please let me know in the comments below and others watching the video: is this something that's really useful or do you not really like the logos, or are you going to stik with your current logo? hey everybody, this is zory from astroweb, and today i want to introduce to you this simple way to make logos: a free logo maker, using the hatchful shopify tool. it's a really simple one. if you want to make, if you're new business and you're not sure how to do it, you want to move forward without spending money, you can make simple logos pretty quickly. so i'm on hatchfulshopifycom, i registered, i already registered an account. it's free, you can just click on register and i'm on the website and i'm clicking on go start, get started. so first of all, i'm gonna make up a business just for this purpose, to show you how it works, and i'm gonna make up some kind of sushi restaurant or some sushi japanese restaurant that sells some kind of products. okay, so what i'm gonna do here is, first of all, on this wizard, i'm going to choose what i have right. so i'm going to look here. i'm going to click on food and drink, for example, and i'm going to click on the style. what kind of style do i want? so, let's say, for sushi restaurant, i want to, let's say, natural, okay, so i'm going to click on next and and then i'm going to click here on, i'm going to type it in, let's say, sushi halo- okay, that's the name, okay. and then, um, it's all about fish. this is my slogan, for example. okay, all about, let's do this, fresh fish, okay. and now i click and now it'll ask me: what, what am i making? today we are going to be reviewing hatchful, a simple no code logo maker, which is hosted on shopify. it is very, very popular, okay, so let's get started. uh, we're going to make a logo for no code log which will appear on the blog and on youtube and on twitter. so we'll pick the tik category, choose three different styles. we've got innovative, futuristik and youthful. you put in your business name and you give it a slogan. then you choose what formats of the logo you want. so we want it on the blog, so what a website. and we also want social media: for twitter, for facebook, for youtube, etc. then next, now we get to choose from what it automatikally generated. this is the magic of hatchful. i'm going to go with this one, but i don't like the font and i don't like the icon. so let's change the font. to begin with, i want some thick letters because i found that when you upload to twitter, it puts in a circle and the circle is very small and you can't actually see what the text says. so let's go with this one. for the color, i like as close to white background as possible. the problem with hash fully is that it doesn't give you any white backgrounds to begin with, you have to scroll down quite far before you even get your first one. so if i just want something quick, i'll normally go with this, but this one's good enough. and for the icon: we want to change the icon to this one here. this feels a bit more relevant to the whole no code thing than the other one. then we picked the layout. we've got a few different options to choose from here. i'm just going to go with this one. then you go next, then download logos. now, it doesn't download them straight away. what it does is it sends them to your email address and i think it takes about 20 seconds, so i'm going to pause it and then come back when they've arrived. okay, here they are. so you click on the download link in your email and it downloads, and then what it gives you is it gives you all of these different png files, so, for example, a youtube profile image. we can upload that directly into your profile and you've got a fairly professional looking logo in a very short period of time. it also works for facebook and linkedin, instagram, etc. and if you pick business cards, i'm sure you get different ones for business cards. so what are the benefits of this number one. it's very fast, so a lot of time is spent, especially in the beginning of a project. oh, we need our logos to do all these things. this just gives you a placeholder logo until you want to spend money on, say, 99 designs or something along those lines. another thing i didn't like about it is that they're very simple. uh, you're not really getting an awful lot of creativity in there, and my preferred way is to use a website like flat icon and take the image from this and put into canva. as you can see, flat icon has lots of more creative, more standing out kind of images to choose from. so if we go no code, it's obviously nothing for no code. so just does code and you can pick from this list of icons. it tells you if you have to pay for them. that's what this little thing is, and they're just much more colorful, much more vibrant. so i like this one. so i'll quickly show you canva, and canva is where you. it's basically just like what you see is what you get. editor, you can pick the template, go to logo and logo. yes, this is canva. you can pick a template. we will quickly just drop in that picture from a flat icon about the same size as that, delete the lock and there you go. you can just modify that during leisure, but that is, that is hatchful. uh, if you need something done very quickly, um, then i'd use hash full, but if you need something that looks more professional, then a combination of flat icon and canva is the way that i would go.
