How My Shopify Store Did $1,000,000 In 11 Months | Ecommerce Dropshipping

00:00:08 00:00:14 period of just 11 months now as crazy as
00:00:12 00:00:16 that sounds this is absolutely true
00:00:14 00:00:18 because if we go ahead and go on over to
00:00:16 00:00:20 my shopify store right over here this
00:00:18 00:00:22 store is roughly started towards the end
00:00:20 00:00:25 of november
00:00:22 00:00:28 basically november 18 2019 was the first
00:00:25 00:00:29 day i actually got a sale on this
00:00:28 00:00:32 e-commerce store so from that day
00:00:29 00:00:35 onwards until november 30th as you can
00:00:32 00:00:38 see right over here we have done over
00:00:35 00:00:40 1.07 million dollars in total sales of
00:00:38 00:00:41 course there were refunds done during
00:00:40 00:00:43 this time period because of what was
00:00:41 00:00:46 going on in the world but exactly how
00:00:43 00:00:48 was my shopify ecommerce store able to
00:00:46 00:00:50 do seven figures in just 11 months was
00:00:48 00:00:52 there some kind of special thing that i
00:00:50 00:00:53 did or did i just get lucky in this
00:00:52 00:00:56 video i'm gonna be covering all of that
00:00:53 00:00:58 so make sure to watch until the end but

00:01:00 00:01:03 the first thing you'll have to do in
00:01:01 00:01:05 order to find any type of success with
00:01:03 00:01:07 the strategies i'm about to mention in
00:01:05 00:01:09 this video however is to destroy that

00:01:19 00:01:23 but exactly how did my shopify store
00:01:21 00:01:26 achieve such a feat in order to kind of
00:01:23 00:01:28 discuss that we need to go back a bit in
00:01:26 00:01:31 time we need to go right back to the end
00:01:28 00:01:33 of 2019 when i had to start this store
00:01:31 00:01:35 basically i had no other choice and i
00:01:33 00:01:36 say i had no other choice because during
00:01:35 00:01:38 this time period or prior to this time
00:01:36 00:01:40 period i was actually running another
00:01:38 00:01:43 e-commerce store which was solely
00:01:40 00:01:45 getting run on facebook ads and towards
00:01:43 00:01:48 the beginning of october of that year of
00:01:45 00:01:51 2019 is when that account actually ended
00:01:48 00:01:52 up getting suspended from facebook that
00:01:51 00:01:54 was one of the worst days of my life
00:01:52 00:01:56 simply because it was my own e-commerce
00:01:54 00:01:59 brand and before that i had not really
00:01:56 00:02:01 faced an issue like that so it was sort
00:01:59 00:02:03 of new for me during that time period
00:02:01 00:02:06 and i did not have google as running for
00:02:03 00:02:07 that ecommerce store nor was it really a
00:02:06 00:02:09 type of niche that would do well on
00:02:07 00:02:11 google ads because it was in the fashion
00:02:09 00:02:12 niche so keeping that in mind what i
00:02:11 00:02:14 decided to do is i decided to start
00:02:12 00:02:17 fresh with a brand new e-commerce store
00:02:14 00:02:18 and that is exactly when this ecommerce
00:02:17 00:02:20 store came into play so this started
00:02:18 00:02:23 during the beginning of 2019 right after
00:02:20 00:02:25 i spent a few days figuring out my exact
00:02:23 00:02:27 strategy of what i wanted to do after
00:02:25 00:02:28 that store ended up going to failure but
00:02:27 00:02:30 during this time period i had already
00:02:28 00:02:32 gained a lot of knowledge with google as
00:02:30 00:02:33 because i was simply playing on and off
00:02:32 00:02:36 with google ads i had not really
00:02:33 00:02:38 achieved great success but i knew the
00:02:36 00:02:40 basic strategies that worked with google
00:02:38 00:02:42 ads and on a fundamental level i knew
00:02:40 00:02:44 how google ads worked so what i decided
00:02:42 00:02:46 to do is during that time period i
00:02:44 00:02:48 decided to add products that were season
00:02:46 00:02:51 based because november and december of
00:02:48 00:02:53 course it was q4 when christmas related
00:02:51 00:02:55 products holiday related products really
00:02:53 00:02:57 started to take up so i decided to put a
00:02:55 00:02:59 mix of those products along with some
00:02:57 00:03:01 products which had steady search volume
00:02:59 00:03:03 during that time period i really looked
00:03:01 00:03:05 at just a minimum of 20k monthly
00:03:03 00:03:06 searches but i was not really looking at
00:03:05 00:03:09 high tiket products during that time in
00:03:06 00:03:11 fact majority of my sellers were low
00:03:09 00:03:13 tiket items and hence if we go back in
00:03:11 00:03:14 time all the way back to november so
00:03:13 00:03:16 right when the store was started so
00:03:14 00:03:19 let's even do october all the way to the
00:03:16 00:03:22 end of december we can see that during
00:03:19 00:03:25 november and december i only made 2 950
00:03:22 00:03:27 with 43 orders that is a very low
00:03:25 00:03:28 average order value right over there and
00:03:27 00:03:31 as you can see every day i was barely
00:03:28 00:03:33 doing even 70 dollars in sales because
00:03:31 00:03:35 that was my average cost of the product
00:03:33 00:03:37 in fact those were the days i was
00:03:35 00:03:39 getting two orders a day so my average
00:03:37 00:03:40 sale price was around 40
00:03:39 00:03:42 but that was what i was working with
00:03:40 00:03:44 during that time but really low tiket
00:03:42 00:03:46 items because i did not know any better
00:03:44 00:03:49 i did not know if google ads was an
00:03:46 00:03:50 advertising platform where high tiket
00:03:49 00:03:52 products would work so i was stiking
00:03:50 00:03:54 more towards low tiket items i was
00:03:52 00:03:57 taken to just 20k monthly searches on
00:03:54 00:03:58 average but for the ads specifically
00:03:57 00:04:00 during that time period i actually had
00:03:58 00:04:02 just one general testing campaign
00:04:00 00:04:04 running not even two and that general
00:04:02 00:04:07 testing campaign i was running on manual
00:04:04 00:04:09 cpc because i since i didn't really have
00:04:07 00:04:11 much knowledge i was just basing it off
00:04:09 00:04:12 of what i heard other youtubers say for
00:04:11 00:04:15 a lot of youtubers this was the way to
00:04:12 00:04:16 go and that did not end up working for
00:04:15 00:04:19 me at all even though it was at such a
00:04:16 00:04:21 low bid of 30 cents in fact if we go on
00:04:19 00:04:23 over to that time period as you can see
00:04:21 00:04:25 november 5th was when this google has
00:04:23 00:04:29 account was even started during that
00:04:25 00:04:32 first month i had a 1.25 row so 658
00:04:29 00:04:33 spent for 822 dollars in sales obviously
00:04:32 00:04:35 that was not the full amount right here
00:04:33 00:04:37 because as you can see this was a
00:04:35 00:04:39 different number but this was because i
00:04:37 00:04:41 was also implementing facebook ads
00:04:39 00:04:43 winners previous winners from my other
00:04:41 00:04:45 store but overall it was a mess with
00:04:43 00:04:47 google as not really profitable during
00:04:45 00:04:49 this time period so that was what was
00:04:47 00:04:51 going on during that time period and
00:04:49 00:04:54 this kept on failing for me i was not
00:04:51 00:04:56 finding any type of success with google
00:04:54 00:04:58 in fact this continued all the way from
00:04:56 00:05:00 the beginning of november all the way to
00:04:58 00:05:01 the end of december as you can see
00:05:00 00:05:05 during this time period my overall
00:05:01 00:05:10 robust was still very very bad 1.79 1
00:05:05 00:05:12 831 spent for 3 280 in sales obviously
00:05:10 00:05:14 not profitable and during that time
00:05:12 00:05:16 period i actually had money problems i
00:05:14 00:05:18 actually had a limited budget because i
00:05:16 00:05:20 had spent a lot of money trying to
00:05:18 00:05:21 revive my other e-commerce store that
00:05:20 00:05:23 store was also starting to become
00:05:21 00:05:25 unprofitable so this was times when i
00:05:23 00:05:27 really needed the extra cash i could not
00:05:25 00:05:30 just be wasting it like this especially
00:05:27 00:05:31 unprofitably so these were difficult
00:05:30 00:05:33 months for me during that time period
00:05:31 00:05:35 but that was the situation during the
00:05:33 00:05:38 start of the store but things really
00:05:35 00:05:40 started to change quickly after i kept
00:05:38 00:05:42 on doing a few things that i mentioned
00:05:40 00:05:44 on my youtube channel consistently as
00:05:42 00:05:45 well as my google ads mastery course if

00:05:55 00:05:59 strategies which helped me get to this
00:05:56 00:06:01 point but what was it like for me during
00:05:59 00:06:03 peak performance so peak performance
00:06:01 00:06:05 really started for me after december
00:06:03 00:06:07 31st during january and early february
00:06:05 00:06:09 even so if we look at the january 1st
00:06:07 00:06:12 always february 29th you can see this
00:06:09 00:06:14 big jump in sales and this happened only
00:06:12 00:06:17 because of facebook ads not because of
00:06:14 00:06:19 google because that old niche store that
00:06:17 00:06:21 i used to run that was a niche store
00:06:19 00:06:23 which peaked during january and february
00:06:21 00:06:25 before valentine's day because of that i
00:06:23 00:06:27 already had a few winners from that
00:06:25 00:06:29 store which i needed to run during this
00:06:27 00:06:32 time period that's exactly what i did i
00:06:29 00:06:34 ran those old winners on facebook ads
00:06:32 00:06:35 and that is what kept my store running
00:06:34 00:06:37 during this time period that's the only
00:06:35 00:06:39 reason why i was able to do fifty six
00:06:37 00:06:41 thousand dollars in sales during that
00:06:39 00:06:43 time but also during that time period my
00:06:41 00:06:44 strategy with google as header also
00:06:43 00:06:47 starts to change i was investing more
00:06:44 00:06:49 money into my ad so i was starting to
00:06:47 00:06:51 figure things out i was also doing a lot
00:06:49 00:06:52 of research on youtube google and so
00:06:51 00:06:54 forth that's how i came up with these
00:06:52 00:06:56 two strategies right over here so my
00:06:54 00:06:58 main strategy was two general testing
00:06:56 00:07:00 campaigns one general testing camera
00:06:58 00:07:02 running at a 35 cent bid the other one
00:07:00 00:07:04 running at a 10 cent bit this was when
00:07:02 00:07:06 this strategy was really created in
00:07:04 00:07:08 addition to that i was running branded
00:07:06 00:07:10 search campaign because i had learned
00:07:08 00:07:11 about that somewhere on youtube and i
00:07:10 00:07:14 was running one smart shopping campaign
00:07:11 00:07:16 which had a mix of both losing products
00:07:14 00:07:18 as well as winning products this was
00:07:16 00:07:21 what was going on during january 1st all
00:07:18 00:07:22 the way up to february 29th but if we go
00:07:21 00:07:24 ahead and look at the actual data right
00:07:22 00:07:26 over here we can see what was going on
00:07:24 00:07:28 so january 1st to february 29th the
00:07:26 00:07:29 results were starting to kind of pick up
00:07:28 00:07:31 and become better and better simply
00:07:29 00:07:33 because that product which was a winner
00:07:31 00:07:35 on facebook also started to sell on
00:07:33 00:07:37 google ads that's the only reason why i
00:07:35 00:07:39 was able to get a 6.78 robust but
00:07:37 00:07:42 majority of the days were starting to
00:07:39 00:07:44 become positive because i was staying
00:07:42 00:07:46 consistent with my strategies i was
00:07:44 00:07:48 doing this every single day i was adding
00:07:46 00:07:49 products every single day despite having
00:07:48 00:07:52 very very bad results during the
00:07:49 00:07:54 beginning of start of the story and also
00:07:52 00:07:55 majority of january was also bad results
00:07:54 00:07:57 as you can see right here but things
00:07:55 00:07:59 really started to pick up in february
00:07:57 00:08:01 and even late january when i started to
00:07:59 00:08:02 get higher and higher robots because of
00:08:01 00:08:04 what was starting to go around in the
00:08:02 00:08:06 world during that time with all the
00:08:04 00:08:08 lockdowns and everything so more people
00:08:06 00:08:10 were spending time indoors that were
00:08:08 00:08:12 really buying things and that's when my
00:08:10 00:08:14 store really started to take off now
00:08:12 00:08:16 come to the later portion of february
00:08:14 00:08:17 and early march and even april that's
00:08:16 00:08:19 when i started to implement these things
00:08:17 00:08:21 so i implemented skags for my winning
00:08:19 00:08:23 products during that time period i also
00:08:21 00:08:25 went heavily into facebook ads
00:08:23 00:08:27 retargeting as well as some bing ads
00:08:25 00:08:29 retargeting now for bing ads and along
00:08:27 00:08:31 with the retargeting i also imported my
00:08:29 00:08:33 google ads campaigns because i thought
00:08:31 00:08:35 that was the best way to go but bing ads
00:08:33 00:08:36 was really not that successful initially
00:08:35 00:08:38 for me in fact i wasted a lot of money
00:08:36 00:08:41 so majority of my success came from
00:08:38 00:08:42 google ads and end of february facebook
00:08:41 00:08:45 ads had pretty much tied down so it was
00:08:42 00:08:47 all mostly google ads so if we look at
00:08:45 00:08:49 february 20th all the way down to april
00:08:47 00:08:51 30th we can see how the store had
00:08:49 00:08:53 started to perform so this is when
00:08:51 00:08:55 things really took off i really started
00:08:53 00:08:57 to get a lot of success as you can see
00:08:55 00:09:00 from february 20th all the way to april
00:08:57 00:09:02 30th i had a 9.41 roast and this
00:09:00 00:09:03 literally changed for me overnight now
00:09:02 00:09:05 some people would look at this and would
00:09:03 00:09:07 think that i literally achieved success
00:09:05 00:09:09 overnight but really only those that
00:09:07 00:09:11 watch this video all the way till the
00:09:09 00:09:13 end or even know me personally would
00:09:11 00:09:16 know that i struggle so much for so many
00:09:13 00:09:18 months in the beginning this is how any
00:09:16 00:09:20 businesses this is how e-commerce works
00:09:18 00:09:22 you do not find success overnight sure
00:09:20 00:09:25 there was a time when i went from doing
00:09:22 00:09:27 about 776 dollars per day in sales all
00:09:25 00:09:30 the way up to 8 000 in sales as you can
00:09:27 00:09:33 see on march 8th was the day i did about
00:09:30 00:09:36 800 in sales on march 13th was when i
00:09:33 00:09:39 did 9 000 in sale so within that short
00:09:36 00:09:40 time period i literally achieved success
00:09:39 00:09:42 overnight but only when you dig deeper
00:09:40 00:09:44 do you find out how many months i was
00:09:42 00:09:45 struggling prior to that so that is
00:09:44 00:09:47 really when things started to take off
00:09:45 00:09:49 for me my strategies were performing
00:09:47 00:09:51 really well my products were also doing
00:09:49 00:09:53 well because i was consistently adding
00:09:51 00:09:55 them every single day and i spent only
00:09:53 00:09:59 36 000 during that time period to make
00:09:55 00:10:01 back 345 000 in sales absolutely insane
00:09:59 00:10:02 results that's when i really started to
00:10:01 00:10:04 play around with different strategies
00:10:02 00:10:06 different general testing campaigns skag
00:10:04 00:10:08 campaigns smart shopping a lot of
00:10:06 00:10:10 facebook ads and bing ads so that was
00:10:08 00:10:12 what was going on during that time
00:10:10 00:10:13 period but in addition i think one of
00:10:12 00:10:15 the main reasons why i was able to find
00:10:13 00:10:18 that kind of success is because of the
00:10:15 00:10:20 products i had running during that time
00:10:18 00:10:21 i always say that product is king and
00:10:20 00:10:23 that is never going to change simply
00:10:21 00:10:26 because if i did not have the right
00:10:23 00:10:27 products there was no way in the world i
00:10:26 00:10:29 would have been able to achieve those
00:10:27 00:10:33 results literally going from 700 a day
00:10:29 00:10:35 to 9 000 a day in a matter of three days
00:10:33 00:10:38 but products really made the big change
00:10:35 00:10:40 and google really found the right
00:10:38 00:10:41 product to show the audience which was
00:10:40 00:10:43 popular during that time period and of
00:10:41 00:10:45 course this product was related to what
00:10:43 00:10:47 was going on in the world hence why i
00:10:45 00:10:48 was really selling so fast within such a
00:10:47 00:10:50 short period of time those are not
00:10:48 00:10:52 really normal results but they do happen
00:10:50 00:10:54 if you find the right product if you

00:10:57 00:11:01 say is if you're already at the 30 000 a
00:10:59 00:11:02 month level with your ecommerce store
00:11:01 00:11:04 and you're looking for somebody to run

00:11:14 00:11:18 month the main reason why this store
00:11:16 00:11:20 really started to pop off is because
00:11:18 00:11:21 there was a mix of medium tiket
00:11:20 00:11:23 products as well as high tiket products
00:11:21 00:11:25 meaning i had a lot of winning products
00:11:23 00:11:27 which were around 50 but i also had
00:11:25 00:11:28 several winning products which are
00:11:27 00:11:31 around 350
00:11:28 00:11:33 and i would also go up as high as 500
00:11:31 00:11:35 that was just the overall range of
00:11:33 00:11:37 prices i was finding a lot of success
00:11:35 00:11:39 with and i still believe too this day
00:11:37 00:11:41 that that number right there is still
00:11:39 00:11:42 pretty accurate you want to be having a
00:11:41 00:11:44 mix of both low tiket mid tiket and
00:11:42 00:11:46 high tiket of course leaning more
00:11:44 00:11:47 towards the mid tiket as well as high
00:11:46 00:11:48 tiket but that was really what i was
00:11:47 00:11:51 finding most successful that's for the
00:11:48 00:11:53 website i really took the time to hire
00:11:51 00:11:55 somebody to make my website faster i
00:11:53 00:11:57 basically revamped my website really try
00:11:55 00:11:58 to fix my conversion rates but one thing
00:11:57 00:12:00 you want to notike with google ads
00:11:58 00:12:01 you're naturally going to have low
00:12:00 00:12:03 conversion rates but during this time
00:12:01 00:12:05 period after february and early march
00:12:03 00:12:06 and april
00:12:05 00:12:09 is when i was really achieving the most
00:12:06 00:12:11 amount of success so if we go then into
00:12:09 00:12:14 march 2020 all the way up to june july
00:12:11 00:12:15 and even august 31st we can see that
00:12:14 00:12:20 overall it just in those months i did
00:12:15 00:12:23 555 000 in sales of course it was 736
00:12:20 00:12:25 000 but 180k did go into refunds because
00:12:23 00:12:27 again all of the issues going on in the
00:12:25 00:12:28 world during that time period but all of
00:12:27 00:12:30 these things were really helping boost
00:12:28 00:12:32 my results but as i keep mentioning
00:12:30 00:12:34 there was a lot of stuff going on during
00:12:32 00:12:36 that time period which made fulfillment
00:12:34 00:12:38 very very difficult so exactly what did
00:12:36 00:12:39 i do with fulfillment now keep in mind
00:12:38 00:12:41 though during this time and prior to
00:12:39 00:12:43 this time i was heavily relying on
00:12:41 00:12:45 aliexpress this is when i learned my
00:12:43 00:12:47 lesson after receiving that much in
00:12:45 00:12:49 refunds and this is when my strategy for
00:12:47 00:12:52 using ebay and amazon or even doing
00:12:49 00:12:53 branded drop shipping came into play
00:12:52 00:12:55 this is when i learned how to even do it
00:12:53 00:12:57 in the first place so during this time
00:12:55 00:12:58 period after about march april and even
00:12:57 00:13:00 during may was when i was fully
00:12:58 00:13:02 converging my store from doing
00:13:00 00:13:03 aliexpress drop shipping to now doing
00:13:02 00:13:06 ebay and amazon drop shipping while
00:13:03 00:13:08 trying to find brands who do offer drop
00:13:06 00:13:10 shipping this is when that strategy came
00:13:08 00:13:11 into play but again as i mentioned a lot
00:13:10 00:13:12 of the orders were really canceled
00:13:11 00:13:14 during the time period because of what
00:13:12 00:13:16 was going on in the world but after that
00:13:14 00:13:19 time period of march 1st to august 31st
00:13:16 00:13:20 then onwards is when the store continued
00:13:19 00:13:22 to get great results so all the way up
00:13:20 00:13:25 to the end of december 31st we did
00:13:22 00:13:27 another 393 thousand dollars in sales
00:13:25 00:13:30 and in fact if we go back all the way
00:13:27 00:13:31 back to january 1st and just look at all
00:13:30 00:13:34 the way to the end to look at what the
00:13:31 00:13:36 sales were during that entire year we
00:13:34 00:13:38 crossed well over 1.1 million dollars in
00:13:36 00:13:40 sales so within that one year time
00:13:38 00:13:42 period i was doing over seven figures
00:13:40 00:13:44 with this e-commerce store right here
00:13:42 00:13:46 and the beauty about this story is since
00:13:44 00:13:48 it is run via google ads it continues to
00:13:46 00:13:51 perform that way simply because i really
00:13:48 00:13:52 honed in my strategies and so far this
00:13:51 00:13:55 year we have already crossed one million
00:13:52 00:13:57 dollars in sales as well so in total if
00:13:55 00:13:58 we look at the store right from the
00:13:57 00:14:01 beginning of when the store was started
00:13:58 00:14:03 which was about two years ago now so if
00:14:01 00:14:05 we go back all the way back to november
00:14:03 00:14:06 1st and we look at the date to today
00:14:05 00:14:09 when i'm recording this video which is
00:14:06 00:14:13 november 13th we can see that overall
00:14:09 00:14:16 this store has crossed about 2.2 million
00:14:13 00:14:18 dollars in sales 99 google ads and i am
00:14:16 00:14:19 very happy to be making a video about
00:14:18 00:14:22 this store because this is one of my
00:14:19 00:14:24 most successful projects which stemmed
00:14:22 00:14:26 out of a necessity which stemmed out of
00:14:24 00:14:27 failure that i achieved with my other
00:14:26 00:14:29 e-commerce store but all of these things
00:14:27 00:14:31 should let you know just how powerful
00:14:29 00:14:33 google ads is how beautiful it can be
00:14:31 00:14:35 once you start to find success with it
00:14:33 00:14:36 but you need to apply the strategies i
00:14:35 00:14:38 mentioned on my youtube channel you need
00:14:36 00:14:40 to also get my google as mastery course
