00:00:34 00:00:39 sellers basically what q4 stands for is
00:00:37 00:00:42 the last three months of the year so
00:00:39 00:00:45 that October November in december months
00:00:42 00:00:47 basically put in the perspective as it's
00:00:45 00:00:50 basically christmas for online sellers
00:00:47 00:00:53 in the sense that your sales receive a
00:00:50 00:00:54 really really large spike in sales
00:00:53 00:00:55 because everyone's buying for the
00:00:54 00:00:58 holidays they're preparing for Christmas
00:00:55 00:01:00 Black Friday Cyber Monday all these
00:00:58 00:01:03 different holidays just having these
00:01:00 00:01:06 crazy spikes and so that's why everyone
00:01:03 00:01:08 throughout the whole year prepares for
00:01:06 00:01:10 q4 the last three months of the year to
00:01:08 00:01:13 where they can see a really significant
00:01:10 00:01:16 spike in sale when it comes to selling
00:01:13 00:01:19 and during q4 and when you're trying to
00:01:16 00:01:21 actually 2 X 3 X 4 X your sales I mean
00:01:19 00:01:22 it all kind of depends on the items that
00:01:21 00:01:25 you're selling so if you're just selling
00:01:22 00:01:28 um random items in general for instance
00:01:25 00:01:30 like just use electronics books CDs
00:01:28 00:01:33 video games you're gonna see a slight
00:01:30 00:01:35 increase in sales but not as big of an
00:01:33 00:01:38 increase or spike as if you're to be
00:01:35 00:01:41 selling toys or accessories or private
00:01:38 00:01:43 label items so once again it all depends
00:01:41 00:01:47 on the business model that you're
00:01:43 00:01:50 pursuing during that q4 spike if it be
00:01:47 00:01:53 private label wholesale online arbitrage
00:01:50 00:01:55 read to arbitrage and the most popular
00:01:53 00:01:58 and most profitable one is that Rita
00:01:55 00:02:01 arbitrage and online arbitrage so um the
00:01:58 00:02:03 margins are somewhat a lot they're all a
00:02:01 00:02:04 little bit lower consistently throughout
00:02:03 00:02:07 the first like nine months of the year
00:02:04 00:02:08 and then once you get into the like the
00:02:07 00:02:10 last three months you almost can't keep
00:02:08 00:02:12 the product in stok because think about
00:02:10 00:02:13 with breach arbitrage you're going to a
00:02:12 00:02:16 big-box store
00:02:13 00:02:18 like a Walmart a Toys R Us a Target and
00:02:16 00:02:20 you're trying to find those items we can
00:02:18 00:02:22 just clear out 20 25 units and you're
00:02:20 00:02:24 buying it for 10 and you're making $10
00:02:22 00:02:26 profit on and the sales rank is amazing
00:02:24 00:02:29 and that comes into play with toys as
00:02:26 00:02:31 well toys are the biggest seller during
00:02:29 00:02:34 q4 which is not a surprise everyone's
00:02:31 00:02:34 trying to buy toys for their kids give
00:02:34 00:02:36 them as gifts
00:02:34 00:02:39 so those definitely the number one
00:02:36 00:02:41 category and when it comes to private
00:02:39 00:02:43 label it also depends on what private
00:02:41 00:02:46 label item you're selling for instance
00:02:43 00:02:47 if you're just selling like a generic
00:02:46 00:02:49 item obviously you're still gonna
00:02:47 00:02:52 receive a spike in sales
00:02:49 00:02:53 I definitely think sales just in general
00:02:52 00:02:56 if your private labeling or the retail
00:02:53 00:02:58 price you at least see a 2 or maybe a 3x
00:02:56 00:03:01 let me think about if your product is
00:02:58 00:03:03 somewhat giftable um if someone is
00:03:01 00:03:05 thinking about possibly purchasing your
00:03:03 00:03:08 product in order to get it to someone
00:03:05 00:03:10 else you can see a crazy crazy return
00:03:08 00:03:12 anywhere from a 5 X to a 10 X on your
00:03:10 00:03:14 initial sales just imagine that you're
00:03:12 00:03:17 making 10 sales a day at your product a
00:03:14 00:03:18 10 X s a hundred sales a day and often
00:03:17 00:03:20 you're not prepared for that especially
00:03:18 00:03:22 if it's your first q for your second q
00:03:20 00:03:24 for your new product you might run out
00:03:22 00:03:26 of stok and so that's kind of on why I
00:03:24 00:03:29 wanted to make this video is you don't
00:03:26 00:03:32 want to prepare and I know q4 starts
00:03:29 00:03:34 it's already started start October 1st
00:03:32 00:03:37 obviously sales are somewhat increasing
00:03:34 00:03:39 body you'd always see that a major spike
00:03:37 00:03:41 until I'd say about minish November and
00:03:39 00:03:45 that's when sales really start to pick
00:03:41 00:03:47 up and then that first week that those
00:03:45 00:03:50 first two weeks of December or just
00:03:47 00:03:51 absolutely crazy also including Black
00:03:50 00:03:53 Friday and Cyber Monday
00:03:51 00:03:55 make sure you're in stok for those the
00:03:53 00:03:57 worst thing to do will be to run out of
00:03:55 00:04:00 stok on one of those giant holidays and
00:03:57 00:04:02 I mean it what's not recommends that you
00:04:00 00:04:03 get your inventory in by a certain time
00:04:02 00:04:05 so if you're trying to sell your items
00:04:03 00:04:07 um during the Christmas time they
00:04:05 00:04:09 recommend that you check your shipment
00:04:07 00:04:12 in that Amazon by December 1st the
00:04:09 00:04:13 reason being is there's gonna be tons
00:04:12 00:04:15 and tons of people that are going out of
00:04:13 00:04:17 stok and replenishing their items and
00:04:15 00:04:18 they're just gonna keep filling up the
00:04:17 00:04:20 amazon warehouses and they just don't
00:04:18 00:04:23 have enough workers to be able to focus
00:04:20 00:04:24 on getting all these new shipments in so
00:04:23 00:04:25 all the shipments are going to be
00:04:24 00:04:28 delayed and then if
00:04:25 00:04:29 send them too late within each month
00:04:28 00:04:31 they're gonna take a while to get
00:04:29 00:04:33 checked in because everyone's sending
00:04:31 00:04:35 stuff in freaky four because everything
00:04:33 00:04:37 is selling so make sure you prepare for
00:04:35 00:04:39 that and I mean that's basically it I
00:04:37 00:04:41 mean it all depends on kind of the
00:04:39 00:04:43 business model that you're selling on
00:04:41 00:04:44 what type of products and mainly just
00:04:43 00:04:46 keep them in stok because you
00:04:44 00:04:47 definitely want to maximize your
00:04:46 00:04:50 potential profit when it comes to those
00:04:47 00:04:52 crazy spikes during q4 and the holidays
00:04:50 00:04:54 so I hope I informed you a little bit
