00:01:41 00:01:46 works but what it is now is that's just
00:01:43 00:01:47 a component within an even broader
00:01:46 00:01:49 strategy and that's what you're going to
00:01:47 00:01:51 learn here in this video is the broader
00:01:49 00:01:54 strategy now what are the results so at
00:01:51 00:01:56 this point in time i'm getting leads for
00:01:54 00:01:59 about 12 cents each i'm getting new
00:01:56 00:02:01 customers for less than three to five
00:01:59 00:02:03 dollars depending on the offer and i'm
00:02:01 00:02:05 making about twenty to thirty dollars
00:02:03 00:02:08 per customer on those campaigns so what
00:02:05 00:02:10 i'm doing now is literally the next
00:02:08 00:02:12 level we have turbo charged what we were
00:02:10 00:02:15 doing so first we're gonna recap what
00:02:12 00:02:18 were we doing so back before i added
00:02:15 00:02:19 this new strategy it was facebook ad and
00:02:18 00:02:22 this was the five dollar per day
00:02:19 00:02:25 strategy and the facebook ad went to an
00:02:22 00:02:27 opt-in page and then from the opt-in
00:02:25 00:02:29 page two things happened if they signed
00:02:27 00:02:31 up number one they got placed on my
00:02:29 00:02:34 email list and number two they went and
00:02:31 00:02:38 saw the oto and then obviously we have a
00:02:34 00:02:41 one upsell that goes from there so this
00:02:38 00:02:43 is kind of the the last strategy and the
00:02:41 00:02:46 ad was going to
00:02:43 00:02:48 retargeting it was going to interests
00:02:46 00:02:50 and it was going to look like audiences
00:02:48 00:02:52 okay pretty much all my audiences warm
00:02:50 00:02:54 or cold i was just showing the same long
00:02:52 00:02:56 copy ad too and again i'm still doing
00:02:54 00:02:59 this but we've added to it but here's
00:02:56 00:03:01 here's the big perspective shift a lot
00:02:59 00:03:05 of what i've taught here is all about
00:03:01 00:03:07 the atm strategy right and the idea is
00:03:05 00:03:09 audience first
00:03:07 00:03:13 then we have the trust
00:03:09 00:03:13 and then we have monetization
00:03:13 00:03:16 this strategy that you're looking at
00:03:15 00:03:18 here
00:03:16 00:03:20 this is the moment where i'm able to
00:03:18 00:03:22 build trust with the user okay
00:03:20 00:03:26 essentially i'm saying i will give you
00:03:22 00:03:27 value via email if you take this action
00:03:26 00:03:30 first
00:03:27 00:03:33 i'm not taking that same strategy that i
00:03:30 00:03:35 use to grow my wife's blog to reach 30
00:03:33 00:03:37 something million people to grow this my
00:03:35 00:03:40 youtube channel to reach over six
00:03:37 00:03:42 million people 120 000 subscribers that
00:03:40 00:03:46 was value first and here my five dollar
00:03:42 00:03:49 strategy is doing value after they take
00:03:46 00:03:52 after and only if they take a specific
00:03:49 00:03:55 action which is opting in then i will
00:03:52 00:03:57 deliver you value so what are we doing
00:03:55 00:03:58 now and this is where it gets really
00:03:57 00:04:02 really interesting so now we're
00:03:58 00:04:04 essentially adding the atm strategy into
00:04:02 00:04:06 facebook ads so i like to think of it as
00:04:04 00:04:09 if there's three separate funnels
00:04:06 00:04:10 working together within my facebook ads
00:04:09 00:04:12 at this point and that's that's what
00:04:10 00:04:14 this diagram is is these are three
00:04:12 00:04:16 separate funnels that you're looking at
00:04:14 00:04:17 here they're not the prettiest funnels
00:04:16 00:04:20 i've ever drawn in my life but that's
00:04:17 00:04:22 okay so this first one is the audience
00:04:20 00:04:25 level funnel this second one is our
00:04:22 00:04:28 trust funnel and this third one is our
00:04:25 00:04:30 monetization funnel okay and again
00:04:28 00:04:31 please please you know i'm not an artist
00:04:30 00:04:33 here so so work with me here but what
00:04:31 00:04:37 we're doing here is there's the cold
00:04:33 00:04:39 audiences on facebook and as of the last
00:04:37 00:04:43 uh fiscal reporting i think they've got
00:04:39 00:04:45 like 2.5 billion active monthly users so
00:04:43 00:04:48 this is the cold audience in here then
00:04:45 00:04:51 the trust section is the warm audience
00:04:48 00:04:54 so what we're doing here is we're adding
00:04:51 00:04:56 video ads mostly you can definitely do
00:04:54 00:04:58 image and text ads if you write great
00:04:56 00:05:01 emails if you've got some great micro
00:04:58 00:05:03 content you absolutely can boost that
00:05:01 00:05:05 but what we're doing because we have so
00:05:03 00:05:07 many youtube videos is we're moving some
00:05:05 00:05:11 of our youtube videos and we're running
00:05:07 00:05:15 some of our facebook live videos in this
00:05:11 00:05:17 top level as cold traffic audience so
00:05:15 00:05:19 we're now moving the value to the very
00:05:17 00:05:21 top that's the big shift that we're
00:05:19 00:05:24 doing here so what we're doing is i'm
00:05:21 00:05:27 paying to get exposure through video
00:05:24 00:05:29 view campaigns and engagement campaigns
00:05:27 00:05:32 so this is video
00:05:29 00:05:35 views and engagement
00:05:32 00:05:38 and we're doing about a dollar per day
00:05:35 00:05:41 on each of these so if i'm doing both a
00:05:38 00:05:44 video view and an engagement campaign
00:05:41 00:05:48 that would total two dollars per day per
00:05:44 00:05:51 campaign and we're targeting interests
00:05:48 00:05:53 and we're also targeting the lookalike
00:05:51 00:05:55 audiences so i got lookalikes of my
00:05:53 00:05:58 customers i've got lookalikes of my
00:05:55 00:06:01 emails i've got lookalikes of people who
00:05:58 00:06:03 have visited my website etc etc so all
00:06:01 00:06:05 of the cold traffic individuals were
00:06:03 00:06:07 showing and let's just call them video
00:06:05 00:06:09 ads for now um you obviously can do this
00:06:07 00:06:11 with certain types of text ads but but
00:06:09 00:06:13 it makes most sense and it's easiest to
00:06:11 00:06:15 understand when it's video based and
00:06:13 00:06:19 what's going on from here
00:06:15 00:06:20 when someone watches one of these videos
00:06:19 00:06:22 to 50
00:06:20 00:06:24 view okay
00:06:22 00:06:27 i'm then retargeting them and we move
00:06:24 00:06:29 them into this second audience now this
00:06:27 00:06:32 is where we start to build trust now
00:06:29 00:06:36 inside of this audience we actually have
00:06:32 00:06:38 duplicated out all of our videos right
00:06:36 00:06:41 so all of these same videos from up here
00:06:38 00:06:43 are down here which means that the user
00:06:41 00:06:45 these are videos i'm trying to draw play
00:06:43 00:06:47 buttons if that's looking confusing so
00:06:45 00:06:50 what happens is when a viewer watches at
00:06:47 00:06:53 least 50 cents of 50 of one of these
00:06:50 00:06:56 videos it triggers them into the next
00:06:53 00:06:59 audience in this audience we have all of
00:06:56 00:07:03 the same videos and here's the kicker we
00:06:59 00:07:05 have our normal opt-in ad the exact same
00:07:03 00:07:07 ad that i've been running for years that
00:07:05 00:07:10 i toked about before that i was showing
00:07:07 00:07:13 to all cold audiences i'm now showing
00:07:10 00:07:16 this in conjunction with more value
00:07:13 00:07:18 through more videos to the audiences of
00:07:16 00:07:20 people who have watched at least fifty
00:07:18 00:07:23 percent okay so we set up a custom
00:07:20 00:07:26 audience of anyone who watches fifty
00:07:23 00:07:29 percent of a video and in here i'm
00:07:26 00:07:33 excluding
00:07:29 00:07:35 leads and i'm excluding my customers
00:07:33 00:07:37 okay so what i want to happen and think
00:07:35 00:07:39 about this in the process of a funnel
00:07:37 00:07:42 and that's why i tried to draw the
00:07:39 00:07:44 ugliest funnel ever here for you is this
00:07:42 00:07:46 is the cold traffic before they ever
00:07:44 00:07:49 come in i'm growing my audience by
00:07:46 00:07:52 showing inexpensive video views when
00:07:49 00:07:54 people raise their hand by watching 50
00:07:52 00:07:55 they move in and i can start to build
00:07:54 00:07:58 trust with them how do i build trust
00:07:55 00:08:01 well more videos and i give them the
00:07:58 00:08:04 opportunity to get on my email list at
00:08:01 00:08:07 this point then when someone subscribes
00:08:04 00:08:10 on my email list guess what we've got
00:08:07 00:08:12 down here we have even more videos right
00:08:10 00:08:14 so they can continue to build trust so
00:08:12 00:08:16 they can continue to watch our best
00:08:14 00:08:20 content and again these are videos that
00:08:16 00:08:22 we've had on facebook as live videos but
00:08:20 00:08:24 they're also videos that we normally had
00:08:22 00:08:26 and have been running on youtube for a
00:08:24 00:08:28 very long time we literally just
00:08:26 00:08:32 uploaded our videos on youtube and added
00:08:28 00:08:35 them here and then down here we have new
00:08:32 00:08:38 ads to actual products and this is where
00:08:35 00:08:39 we're starting to work different
00:08:38 00:08:41 advertisements to some of our high
00:08:39 00:08:43 tiket products
00:08:41 00:08:46 some of our low dollar products and our
00:08:43 00:08:48 membership products
00:08:46 00:08:50 now i'm building this out still okay i
00:08:48 00:08:54 don't have this 100 percent dialed in
00:08:50 00:08:56 and we are already seeing a significant
00:08:54 00:08:59 decrease in my cost per lead and in my
00:08:56 00:09:02 cost per new customer so this audience
00:08:59 00:09:06 down here this lower audience
00:09:02 00:09:10 is people who have watched 50 percent
00:09:06 00:09:13 and who are also a lead okay so this is
00:09:10 00:09:14 a 50 so i know they've engaged or and or
00:09:13 00:09:16 they're a lead
00:09:14 00:09:19 and these are the people that i'm
00:09:16 00:09:21 showing my next messaging to and guess
00:09:19 00:09:23 what when someone purchases and they
00:09:21 00:09:26 become like a low tiket customer i'm
00:09:23 00:09:28 able to start to show them different ads
00:09:26 00:09:31 to get them into my high tiket products
00:09:28 00:09:34 and also into my membership products now
00:09:31 00:09:36 this is this is definitely undoubtedly
00:09:34 00:09:40 the most complex facebook advertising
00:09:36 00:09:43 approach that i've done and i've got a
00:09:40 00:09:45 pro team i've got great help i'm i'm
00:09:43 00:09:46 i've been doing this for many years so i
00:09:45 00:09:49 wanted to show you
00:09:46 00:09:51 the vision for what is possible for
00:09:49 00:09:54 having it all work out but you don't
00:09:51 00:09:56 need to do all of this so here just
00:09:54 00:09:58 before we wrap this video up i want to
00:09:56 00:10:01 show you what i would consider like the
00:09:58 00:10:03 next level approach for you with your
00:10:01 00:10:04 business so you can start to get the
00:10:03 00:10:06 value
00:10:04 00:10:07 without having to do all of this crazy
00:10:06 00:10:09 work
00:10:07 00:10:12 so what i want you to do is the first
00:10:09 00:10:14 thing you need to set up is your cold
00:10:12 00:10:14 audience
00:10:16 00:10:20 campaigns and these are video view
00:10:18 00:10:23 campaigns and i'm still going to do the
00:10:20 00:10:24 same drawing here so these are video
00:10:23 00:10:28 view
00:10:24 00:10:29 and these are engagement
00:10:28 00:10:32 and what you're going to end up doing if
00:10:29 00:10:34 you have videos on youtube that get good
00:10:32 00:10:36 engagement you're proud of the videos
00:10:34 00:10:39 you think they have good branding i want
00:10:36 00:10:42 you to load them up and start to play
00:10:39 00:10:44 them for a dollar per day each at each
00:10:42 00:10:46 of these levels now this is going to do
00:10:44 00:10:47 two things and again who are we
00:10:46 00:10:50 targeting with these these are going out
00:10:47 00:10:52 to interests just like the old way we've
00:10:50 00:10:54 always been doing it and then we have
00:10:52 00:10:56 the look-alike audiences and that's
00:10:54 00:10:58 really the best place to get started
00:10:56 00:11:00 here is the interest audiences and the
00:10:58 00:11:02 look-alike audiences okay they could be
00:11:00 00:11:04 lookalikes of your customers look likes
00:11:02 00:11:05 of your email list lookalikes of your
00:11:04 00:11:07 traffic from your website to retargeting
00:11:05 00:11:09 etc
00:11:07 00:11:12 what we're doing here is twofold number
00:11:09 00:11:13 one we're moving value to the very top
00:11:12 00:11:15 of the funnel
00:11:13 00:11:17 philosophically this is more in
00:11:15 00:11:20 alignment with the law of attraction the
00:11:17 00:11:22 law of reciprocation it's going to give
00:11:20 00:11:25 your users more positive experiences
00:11:22 00:11:28 with you your brand your content etc etc
00:11:25 00:11:30 now if you don't have youtube videos
00:11:28 00:11:32 that you you're proud of that you like
00:11:30 00:11:35 that you could just go plug in here that
00:11:32 00:11:37 give value you can start doing lives
00:11:35 00:11:39 from your fan page and once the live
00:11:37 00:11:41 video is done and you just spend five
00:11:39 00:11:43 minutes to 20 minutes giving value to
00:11:41 00:11:46 your audience teaching about something
00:11:43 00:11:47 you're just sharing you're just putting
00:11:46 00:11:49 out helpful content like you've seen me
00:11:47 00:11:51 do on youtube for years you're just
00:11:49 00:11:55 putting that out then you start to boost
00:11:51 00:11:57 it for a dollar per day per ad set
00:11:55 00:12:00 whether it's a video view an engagement
00:11:57 00:12:04 or both so if you end up getting five
00:12:00 00:12:06 videos in here for example you're
00:12:04 00:12:08 looking at about ten dollars per day and
00:12:06 00:12:10 what this is going to do is this is
00:12:08 00:12:13 going to get you in front of people who
00:12:10 00:12:15 are interested in what you teach and
00:12:13 00:12:16 then the second audience is what we'll
00:12:15 00:12:19 call your warm
00:12:16 00:12:20 audience and you can go with the atm if
00:12:19 00:12:22 you want this could be called your trust
00:12:20 00:12:24 audience i'm not partikular about the
00:12:22 00:12:26 branding of it but you want to just kind
00:12:24 00:12:29 of make sure you know what's going on
00:12:26 00:12:32 here and in this audience this is for
00:12:29 00:12:35 people who have watched 50 percent now
00:12:32 00:12:38 you simply go in and create a custom
00:12:35 00:12:40 audience and the custom audience is
00:12:38 00:12:42 everyone who has watched fifty percent
00:12:40 00:12:44 of one of your videos super easy to set
00:12:42 00:12:47 up once you have that audience set up
00:12:44 00:12:49 that's who you're targeting in this next
00:12:47 00:12:52 level and what do you put you put videos
00:12:49 00:12:55 in here and these videos are literally
00:12:52 00:12:58 the exact same videos you have above
00:12:55 00:13:00 plus you have your ad okay this is your
00:12:58 00:13:02 opt-in ad that you probably have already
00:13:00 00:13:03 been running before
00:13:02 00:13:05 now
00:13:03 00:13:07 there's been some people who have had
00:13:05 00:13:09 challenges keeping their facebook ad
00:13:07 00:13:11 accounts live getting facebook ad
00:13:09 00:13:14 accounts banned and generally this is
00:13:11 00:13:18 happening because facebook does not like
00:13:14 00:13:21 to see a high ratio of disapproved ads
00:13:18 00:13:23 to approved ads and people go all in on
00:13:21 00:13:24 the old model the five dollar a day
00:13:23 00:13:26 where they're just running the
00:13:24 00:13:29 advertisement and that's the only thing
00:13:26 00:13:31 they're putting up is a hardcore hard
00:13:29 00:13:33 call to action ad they have no value
00:13:31 00:13:35 they get a bunch of spam complaints it
00:13:33 00:13:38 triggers a red flag in the policies and
00:13:35 00:13:40 procedures of facebook advertising and
00:13:38 00:13:43 what happens facebook shuts down the
00:13:40 00:13:46 entire account when you run this way
00:13:43 00:13:48 you're gonna have two different ad sets
00:13:46 00:13:51 for each of these which means you have
00:13:48 00:13:53 10 separate ad sets okay which might
00:13:51 00:13:56 have multiple ads in each if you have
00:13:53 00:13:58 one video ad with two different texts in
00:13:56 00:14:00 each et cetera et cetera you could have
00:13:58 00:14:03 10 to 20 ads running
00:14:00 00:14:05 approved that gets you the green check
00:14:03 00:14:07 mark that means you're a good advertiser
00:14:05 00:14:09 then if you accidentally have one of
00:14:07 00:14:12 your ads disapproved because of the
00:14:09 00:14:16 language that you use it would be one of
00:14:12 00:14:18 potentially 20 different ad sets that's
00:14:16 00:14:21 it it lowers that ratio so it's going to
00:14:18 00:14:23 actually protect your account so you can
00:14:21 00:14:25 keep running ads but what we're doing
00:14:23 00:14:28 here in the warm is we set up the exact
00:14:25 00:14:30 same videos in the same way and we want
00:14:28 00:14:32 to trigger these with video views now
00:14:30 00:14:34 you might be thinking well miles what if
00:14:32 00:14:37 they come in and they watch this video
00:14:34 00:14:39 and then they move down is facebook just
00:14:37 00:14:41 going to show them that same video again
00:14:39 00:14:44 odds are not because facebook's smart
00:14:41 00:14:46 facebook's machine learning is smart the
00:14:44 00:14:48 amount of data that facebook has on each
00:14:46 00:14:51 and every one of us is kind of crazy and
00:14:48 00:14:52 kind of scary so facebook knows first
00:14:51 00:14:55 and foremost that they've already seen
00:14:52 00:14:56 this ad unit so they know that the odds
00:14:55 00:14:58 of facebook showing that same one again
00:14:56 00:15:00 are actually quite small facebook's
00:14:58 00:15:02 gonna look at the user behavior and
00:15:00 00:15:04 think okay you have a conversion ad here
00:15:02 00:15:06 and then you have video ads here and
00:15:04 00:15:07 facebook's gonna think well what ip
00:15:06 00:15:09 address are they on are they on mobile
00:15:07 00:15:11 are they at home are they at work
00:15:09 00:15:13 because facebook knows from what i p
00:15:11 00:15:17 addresses what locations what time of
00:15:13 00:15:19 day what days of the week you and all of
00:15:17 00:15:21 your audience members are most likely to
00:15:19 00:15:23 take specific actions and if if facebook
00:15:21 00:15:26 knows that your best audience is right
00:15:23 00:15:28 there in a video viewing mode the odds
00:15:26 00:15:30 of facebook showing yet another video
00:15:28 00:15:32 that that audience member is going to
00:15:30 00:15:34 love are pretty high and if facebook
00:15:32 00:15:37 knows that your audience member is in a
00:15:34 00:15:39 moment or a location or a time of day
00:15:37 00:15:42 and week when they're likely to enter
00:15:39 00:15:44 into a funnel and convert that's when
00:15:42 00:15:45 they'll show this ad so we're really
00:15:44 00:15:47 actually letting facebook's machine
00:15:45 00:15:51 learning and the facebook algorithm
00:15:47 00:15:53 decide what to show to the users when
00:15:51 00:15:55 you just queue all of this up again
00:15:53 00:15:57 we're doing about a dollar a day on each
00:15:55 00:15:59 of these and if you want you can do five
00:15:57 00:16:01 dollars per day on your ad or you can
00:15:59 00:16:04 just run it at a dollar or two dollars
00:16:01 00:16:06 per day if you're doing five different
00:16:04 00:16:08 ads here let's call it six because we've
00:16:06 00:16:10 added on one ad for the video
00:16:08 00:16:14 you're looking at about twelve dollars
00:16:10 00:16:16 per day here now total between these two
00:16:14 00:16:20 right just these two here you're looking
00:16:16 00:16:22 at twenty two dollars per day if we add
00:16:20 00:16:25 three dollars per day down here and i'll
00:16:22 00:16:27 go ahead and say if you had seven
00:16:25 00:16:30 dollars per day down here this is going
00:16:27 00:16:32 to be the final audience that we have
00:16:30 00:16:35 and this audience is for people who are
00:16:32 00:16:38 your leads okay so when someone goes
00:16:35 00:16:40 through this process and they end up on
00:16:38 00:16:43 your email list and they've seen your
00:16:40 00:16:45 oto this is your first chance to earn
00:16:43 00:16:47 income but when they become when they go
00:16:45 00:16:50 to your oto page that should trigger
00:16:47 00:16:51 through a custom audience that they now
00:16:50 00:16:54 have taken a specific action they are
00:16:51 00:16:55 now a lead because they landed on your
00:16:54 00:16:58 oto page and the only way they can see
00:16:55 00:17:00 your oto page is by opting into your
00:16:58 00:17:03 list so now facebook knows that this
00:17:00 00:17:05 individual has seen your page
00:17:03 00:17:07 they've seen your oto page which means

00:17:20 00:17:25 tiket offers my lowest tiket offer is
00:17:23 00:17:27 a seven dollar product i'm sending them
00:17:25 00:17:29 direct to sales page for a seven dollar
00:17:27 00:17:31 product and i'm getting an average sale
00:17:29 00:17:34 of less than three dollars so i'm
00:17:31 00:17:36 spending about three dollars down here
00:17:34 00:17:38 in this lower area and i'm generating a
00:17:36 00:17:41 seven dollar sale now i gotta put a
00:17:38 00:17:43 little asterisk here this isn't because
00:17:41 00:17:45 facebook's magic there is actually very
00:17:43 00:17:48 little magic in facebook it's because i
00:17:45 00:17:50 have really good copy i spent thousands
00:17:48 00:17:52 of dollars to have the sales page for a
00:17:50 00:17:54 seven dollar product written by a
00:17:52 00:17:56 professional copywriter and i've been
00:17:54 00:17:57 testing different offers for years and
00:17:56 00:18:00 years and years and years and years
00:17:57 00:18:03 right i've actually tested over 150
00:18:00 00:18:05 different paid products to my audiences
00:18:03 00:18:07 so i have a very very significant depth
00:18:05 00:18:09 of knowledge of what my people want what
00:18:07 00:18:11 offers work what offers don't work if
00:18:09 00:18:13 you don't have any offers that are
00:18:11 00:18:16 converting well
00:18:13 00:18:17 sending facebook traffic to those offers
00:18:16 00:18:19 is not going to help improve their
00:18:17 00:18:22 conversions
00:18:19 00:18:24 facebook is a traffic mechanism that's
00:18:22 00:18:25 all it is but when you have an offer
00:18:24 00:18:28 that converts
00:18:25 00:18:31 restructuring and reworking things in
00:18:28 00:18:34 this manner can be extremely powerful
00:18:31 00:18:37 and if you're currently working on these
00:18:34 00:18:39 offers and you don't have the actual
00:18:37 00:18:41 paid ads that go to paid products that
00:18:39 00:18:43 you know convert this is where you're
00:18:41 00:18:45 doing testing and you could do testing
00:18:43 00:18:47 at a dollar per day you could test a
00:18:45 00:18:49 video sales letter you could test a
00:18:47 00:18:52 webinar approach you could test straight
00:18:49 00:18:55 to your sales letters etc etc and for a
00:18:52 00:18:58 very small amount of money you're able
00:18:55 00:19:00 to target people who have watched 50
00:18:58 00:19:02 percent so you know they're interested
00:19:00 00:19:04 you know they like things then you give
00:19:02 00:19:07 them more video content which builds the
00:19:04 00:19:10 trust and you now know that they're a
00:19:07 00:19:11 lead because they took that action so
00:19:10 00:19:13 now you know that these people they're
00:19:11 00:19:15 on your email list you're sending them
00:19:13 00:19:18 helpful emails they can still be getting
00:19:15 00:19:20 more videos you can absolutely add more
00:19:18 00:19:22 videos in here you can be doing one live
00:19:20 00:19:23 per week to them they're going to see
00:19:22 00:19:25 all of your live videos that you get
00:19:23 00:19:28 when you do new live videos you can
00:19:25 00:19:30 promote them here you can literally do
00:19:28 00:19:33 your webinars okay like a normal style
00:19:30 00:19:36 of webinar you can actually do a webinar
00:19:33 00:19:39 and do the webinar as a live facebook
00:19:36 00:19:41 video you can upload your actual video
00:19:39 00:19:44 sales letter you can upload your actual
00:19:41 00:19:48 video webinar recording into facebook
00:19:44 00:19:51 and you can run that as an ad to this
00:19:48 00:19:53 one audience if i'm running this here
00:19:51 00:19:56 the numbers i'm paying attention to
00:19:53 00:19:57 personally i can completely ignore this
00:19:56 00:19:58 top one
00:19:57 00:20:00 because when people don't watch fifty
00:19:58 00:20:02 percent they're out when they do watch
00:20:00 00:20:06 fifty percent they go on to the next
00:20:02 00:20:09 here i'm monitoring my frequency in this
00:20:06 00:20:12 one here but i'm okay with having a
00:20:09 00:20:14 frequency of five or higher if i have
00:20:12 00:20:17 five videos in here i'm okay with
00:20:14 00:20:19 somebody watching several videos because
00:20:17 00:20:22 i know that's moving their relationship
00:20:19 00:20:26 forward with my brand so i'm okay with a
00:20:22 00:20:28 frequency of five to six if i have five
00:20:26 00:20:32 to six different ads being shown in here
00:20:28 00:20:34 down here i don't want my frequency to
00:20:32 00:20:37 be much higher than the number of ads
00:20:34 00:20:39 that i'm running in here so if i've got
00:20:37 00:20:42 three videos or excuse me if i've got
00:20:39 00:20:45 three ads at this level and these three
00:20:42 00:20:47 ads are all just running straight to a
00:20:45 00:20:50 product i really don't want to see my
00:20:47 00:20:54 frequency to be two or higher if i've
00:20:50 00:20:58 got five videos and three
00:20:54 00:21:00 ads then i really am okay with seeing my
00:20:58 00:21:01 frequency get up to six which means they
00:21:00 00:21:03 could be seeing five of these i could
00:21:01 00:21:05 even see seven so they've seen five
00:21:03 00:21:06 different videos and they've seen two
00:21:05 00:21:09 different offers that would be a
00:21:06 00:21:11 frequency of seven i know it's messy and
00:21:09 00:21:14 i wish there was a cleaner way for me to
00:21:11 00:21:16 really explain this all i think the
00:21:14 00:21:19 broader perspective and the broader idea
00:21:16 00:21:21 that i'm most excited about is taking
00:21:19 00:21:23 what we were doing what i was doing
00:21:21 00:21:25 before but now we've got the audience
00:21:23 00:21:28 it's literally bringing that atm in
00:21:25 00:21:30 right so my audience is now growing
00:21:28 00:21:33 because i'm paying
00:21:30 00:21:36 for video views
00:21:33 00:21:38 okay and then the trust are people who
00:21:36 00:21:42 have watched fifty percent of a video
00:21:38 00:21:42 are now going to see more videos
00:21:43 00:21:48 and they're going to go see my offers
00:21:46 00:21:49 i'm putting a dollar sign here that's
00:21:48 00:21:51 actually a little false so i'm going to
00:21:49 00:21:54 cross it out real quick these are my
00:21:51 00:21:56 leads okay uh and and there is a why
00:21:54 00:21:58 there is a paid product right they opt
00:21:56 00:22:01 in and then they see my oto but the
00:21:58 00:22:03 offer itself is a free thing i'm giving
00:22:01 00:22:05 them the chance to take the step how do
00:22:03 00:22:08 we give them the chance to take the step
00:22:05 00:22:10 to go build trust by watching 50 of a
00:22:08 00:22:12 video how do we give them the chance to
00:22:10 00:22:14 take this next one well when they
00:22:12 00:22:17 subscribe to my email list that's the
00:22:14 00:22:20 action they're taking so a user through
00:22:17 00:22:22 their actions that are 100 on facebook
00:22:20 00:22:24 with that little tweak of joining my
00:22:22 00:22:27 list off on my opt-in page is able to
00:22:24 00:22:29 move themselves at their own pace and
00:22:27 00:22:31 the fact that i've got five to ten
00:22:29 00:22:33 videos here i've got five to ten videos
00:22:31 00:22:36 here that means a user might end up
00:22:33 00:22:38 hanging out in this trust area they
00:22:36 00:22:40 might watch three or four videos they
00:22:38 00:22:43 might build a full-on relationship with
00:22:40 00:22:45 me and my brand before they're ever
00:22:43 00:22:47 presented with the opt-in what do you
00:22:45 00:22:49 think happens to that user when they're
00:22:47 00:22:52 presented to the with the opt-in
00:22:49 00:22:54 after having all of that experience with
00:22:52 00:22:56 my great content my great teaching the
00:22:54 00:22:58 likelihood of them converting goes up
00:22:56 00:23:01 the conversion rate goes up and my cost
00:22:58 00:23:04 per lead is sinking to the floor and
00:23:01 00:23:08 right now i'm getting literally 12 cent
00:23:04 00:23:10 leads and then i show more videos here
00:23:08 00:23:12 for more trust because we never stop
00:23:10 00:23:14 building trust i'm also sending them
00:23:12 00:23:16 emails so i'm hitting them on multiple
00:23:14 00:23:18 channels at this point and when i have
00:23:16 00:23:20 an offer for something whether it's my
00:23:18 00:23:23 seven dollar product i'm trying i'm
00:23:20 00:23:25 testing offers for my 247 product and my
00:23:23 00:23:28 37 a month membership when i've got all
00:23:25 00:23:30 of these different offers going the
00:23:28 00:23:33 likelihood of them buying these goes up
00:23:30 00:23:36 significantly and my cost per sale on
00:23:33 00:23:38 these is less than three dollars right
00:23:36 00:23:40 now and i've never seen that before i
00:23:38 00:23:43 have never in my history spending
00:23:40 00:23:45 hundreds of thousands of dollars on
00:23:43 00:23:48 facebook ads i've been running facebook
00:23:45 00:23:50 ads since i believe 2014 2015. i have
00:23:48 00:23:53 never been able to get a customer at
00:23:50 00:23:55 three dollars each am i spending a
00:23:53 00:23:57 little bit more money on them up in
00:23:55 00:23:59 these other ones absolutely somebody who
00:23:57 00:24:01 cost me three dollars here might cost me
00:23:59 00:24:03 30 cents here and they might cost me 30
00:24:01 00:24:05 cents there you think i'm tripping off
00:24:03 00:24:07 of 3.60
00:24:05 00:24:09 cost per customer absolutely not i'm
00:24:07 00:24:11 going to be buying these all day long
00:24:09 00:24:12 i'm going to be scaling these up and
00:24:11 00:24:15 again as i said my team and i are still
00:24:12 00:24:17 working on this this is the earliest
00:24:15 00:24:20 notification and update of the the
00:24:17 00:24:22 philosophical shift that we've made as
00:24:20 00:24:24 we really dial in things that work and
00:24:22 00:24:26 we we get it really working for us in
00:24:24 00:24:28 our organization better i plan to to
00:24:26 00:24:30 either create more trainings or maybe
00:24:28 00:24:32 host a webinar on this or at least link
00:24:30 00:24:35 you to something that's going to give
00:24:32 00:24:37 you uh greater insights and more how to
00:24:35 00:24:39 but right now i just wanted to give you
00:24:37 00:24:40 this philosophical shift because it's
00:24:39 00:24:42 making all the difference in the world
00:24:40 00:24:44 with our facebook ads if you are running
00:24:42 00:24:46 ads on facebook and you are going
00:24:44 00:24:48 straight to the opt-in and you don't
00:24:46 00:24:49 have these video views going at the
00:24:48 00:24:51 audience level and you don't have video
00:24:49 00:24:53 views going at the trust level you're
00:24:51 00:24:56 missing out on a giant opportunity to
00:24:53 00:24:58 build brand to build trust to lower your
00:24:56 00:25:01 cost per lead to lower your cost per
00:24:58 00:25:03 customer acquisition everything works
00:25:01 00:25:06 better when we deliver more value so
00:25:03 00:25:08 let's let facebook ads algorithm their

00:25:08 00:25:12 which videos are what the best to send
00:25:11 00:25:15 what person and what ads and what offers
