00:01:37	00:01:40	we recommend thrift stores it's

00:01:43	00:01:46	goodwill and your salvation armies now

00:01:48	00:01:52	stores um that aren't goodwill and that
00:01:50	00:01:53	aren't salvation army that you should

00:02:31	00:02:34	downloaded on your phone there's also
00:02:32	00:02:35	some other apps that you can go ahead

00:02:35	00:02:38	amazon sellers app is great what you
00:02:37	00:02:40	want to go ahead and do
00:02:38	00:02:41	pretty much scan every single book
00:02:40	00:02:43	inside the thrift store you don't want
00:02:41	00:02:45	to miss a single one because
00:02:43	00:02:47	a lot of times the most random books are
00:02:45	00:02:50	actually very profitable such as like
00:02:47	00:02:51	you know this book right here model
00:02:50	00:02:53	rules of professional conduct like i
00:02:51	00:02:56	would have no idea usually
00:02:53	00:02:57	that this book was profitable but um it

00:03:03	00:03:06	fiction books is most of them are mass

00:03:16	00:03:18	app and it's going to allow you to be

00:03:18	00:03:23	scan the barcode on a book and you'll be

00:03:42	00:03:46	book's not profitable then don't buy it
00:03:44	00:03:47	but if the book is profitable and you
00:03:46	00:03:49	can make some money
00:03:47	00:03:51	purchasing it and then reselling it back
00:03:49	00:03:53	on amazon um if you're doing fba
00:03:51	00:03:54	you really want to pay attention to the
00:03:53	00:03:55	sales rank now we're going to tok a
00:03:54	00:03:57	little bit more about this but the sales
00:03:55	00:03:59	rank is essentially
00:03:57	00:04:01	a unique number that amazon provides for
00:03:59	00:04:02	every single item on amazon that has
00:04:01	00:04:04	sold
00:04:02	00:04:05	and that item represents how often that
00:04:04	00:04:07	item
00:04:05	00:04:09	sells on amazon so the lower the sales
00:04:07	00:04:10	rank the more often it sells so do you
00:04:09	00:04:11	want to tok about your experience kind

00:04:11	00:04:14	scanning books and the different sales
00:04:12	00:04:16	ranks that you came across yeah so as a
00:04:14	00:04:18	rule of thumb as carter mentioned
00:04:16	00:04:20	sales rank under a million is typically
00:04:18	00:04:22	you know where you want to go towards
00:04:20	00:04:23	but obviously if it's a super profitable

00:04:23	00:04:27	gonna buy it for two bucks to sell it
00:04:25	00:04:28	for 40 you could go a little bit over

00:04:28	00:04:32	i mean if you're gonna like triple
00:04:30	00:04:34	quadruple or even five extra money it's
00:04:32	00:04:35	definitely worth it to hold on to it for

00:04:35	00:04:38	and uh scanning a lot of these books i

00:04:38	00:04:42	you know most of the books aren't worth
00:04:39	00:04:42	it to buy but you know you're gonna find

00:04:42	00:04:46	you know solid picks if you you know

00:04:46	00:04:48	that's a great way because i mean when

00:04:50	00:04:52	thousands of books and honestly it's
00:04:51	00:04:54	just a numbers game like

00:04:54	00:04:58	non-fiction book and you know we scanned
00:04:56	00:04:59	hundreds and hundreds of books but we
00:04:58	00:05:01	found what i call
00:04:59	00:05:03	gyms you know the books you can buy for
00:05:01	00:05:03	a dollar two dollars that are selling
00:05:03	00:05:06	for
00:05:03	00:05:08	15 20. i think this was my favorite i'm

00:05:08	00:05:11	quick on this set right now this is one
00:05:09	00:05:13	of the best items we found so i want to

00:06:10	00:06:14	yesterday so the fifth and final step is

00:06:16	00:06:18	accumulated quite a few books you wanna

00:06:18	00:06:20	gonna do is you're going to you can type

00:06:20	00:06:23	you can sometimes scan the barcode you
00:06:22	00:06:25	want to be able to find that listing on

00:06:42	00:06:45	gonna mainly pay attention to the fba
00:06:44	00:06:46	offers because that's kind of what i'm

00:06:46	00:06:51	as an fba seller because as an fba
00:06:49	00:06:53	seller your items your
00:06:51	00:06:55	books are eligible for prime two-day
00:06:53	00:06:58	shipping so you can often charge a
00:06:55	00:06:59	premium price compared to non-fba
00:06:58	00:07:01	sellers which is one of the best
00:06:59	00:07:02	benefits about fba so essentially you're
00:07:01	00:07:03	going to choose your price point
00:07:02	00:07:05	you're going to choose your condition of
00:07:03	00:07:07	the book so you can say okay this is
00:07:05	00:07:08	you know used very good condition and
00:07:07	00:07:10	then you're going to add it to a
00:07:08	00:07:10	shipment and what you'll do is you'll

00:07:10	00:07:14	you know every single book that you have
00:07:12	00:07:15	in your um that you purchased
00:07:14	00:07:17	and you'll be adding it to a shipment
00:07:15	00:07:18	then once you have your shipment created

00:07:18	00:07:22	individual late fn skus to cover up the
00:07:20	00:07:23	barcode so that once amazon receives
