Why You Must Use Sezzle On Your Shopify Store | Increase Your Revenue
all right, y'all. so we're all focused on our bottom line, our storage revenue, uh, in 2020, the world has become a very different place. people are holding on to our money and you're maybe wondering why your sales are either down- some may already be up- but if you're down, this is a perfect video for you, because what sezzle will do is help that bottom line, and i added it to my site after the pandemic and i've seen how much more sales that i have gotten on my website and how my site has grown by being able to offer customers another alternative to a payment solution versus their normal payment solution. so if you're interested in learning how to increase your bottom line with a third-party payment plug-in that goes by the name of sizzle, stay tuned and i'll see y'all in the video. all right, everyone we are here. so what we're about to tok about right now is, like i said in the intro, sezzle and how it can help your business's bottom line. so everything that we tok about here is for shopify, so i've been using several since the pandemic started and settled at first. to me was only several quad pay after pay, all those third-party uh plug-ins that allow the customer to make small payments over the duration of six weeks interest free. i thought they were only for big retailers, but i reached out to sizzle and they approved my site and it was on my site within like 48 hours. they give you instructions on how to add it yourself or you can let them do it. so, depending on your timeline, whichever situation works best for you, sizzle is a must, believe me y'all, it is a must to adding that extra revenue. and before i tell you why, we're going to jump into today's sponsor, so stay tuned. today's video is sponsored by the seven figure fast track, which is a complete shopify video course for beginners who are looking to get started in shopify and learn everything there is about it. so in this video course there is 47 lessons that walk you through the beginning steps to the final step of getting your shopify set up: from where to get the logo for the best price, understanding your customers, your dashboard, the taxes involved with the shopify site, um, how to retain the customer data, and also the bonus section is the best apps for getting started for every shopify beginner. so that's the seven figure fast track. we thank them for the sponsor for this. the description is in the link and i'll see you guys in the video. all right, everyone. so the reason why sizzle is a must is because let's just think about the consumer, us as normal people. we're all consumers in a sense and we're, in a sense, wired to always want that is how the algorithms of facebook and instagram have trained our minds to be. they see the things that we click on, the things that we like, the things that we share, and then they show us those things. so, whatever it may be, we're always seeing those in the leisure of our own time, without even searching for them. when you go to instagram, you're scrolling, you're seeing targeted ads that are showing you similar items to items that you've looked at in the past, or the exact item that you've previously just been looked at and you're now being retargeted. so, as consumers, people are always wanting to purchase. so us, as shopify store owners, we want to create a way for the consumer to always purchase. and how can we get that done? and this is where sezzle comes into our sites and this is why i say it is a must. so when you see, the quad pays the after pace, the sizzle. what i use is sizzle. that's why this video is about that and what that allows my customer to do is to be able to purchase. so i want to show you guys exactly how it looks on the site so you can have a better understanding of what i'm toking about. so let me pull up the screen share real quick so i can show you guys a quick snapshot. all right, so here is one of my websites right here. so this is a t-shirt- melon in definition, unisex t-shirt- that we see right here. we see that this shirt is 9.99. it's actually a sale that i have running on this plan, a volume game. but back to the sizzle. you see that with four interest free payments of two dollars and fifty cents that the customer can have this today. so let's add it to the cart so we can see um more in detail how that works. so i'm gonna remove this item. well, that was the item, but it'll still work for this one. so for interest-free payments of 2.50 the consumer, that is an amazing deal. they're gonna say i'm gonna spend my 250 right now to get this shirt. my paycheck doesn't hit till friday, but i know i want this shirt, so i'm gonna just continue to go ahead and purchase it. i know i may not need to, but it's cheap right now. so when you hit complete order, what is going to do is direct the customer to sizzle and get them to sign up and once they sign up, they'll only have to pay 2.50 today to get that item. that was 9.99. so you may be thinking: well, i need all my money because i have to operate the business. i don't want to be shipping products without the money. sizzle already has that covered for. so what sezzle's going to do? is they front the customer or the consumer, whichever time we're using the money. they give us, as the seller, all of the money. so we have the money to operate, to ship, to do what we need to do. it's sitting in our account. so let me show you how that looks. i'm gonna jump back in. so in my sezzle account right here, you can see that i've got almost five grand forty eight hundred dollars just chilling right here. my pending payments is money that's recently been purchased today that has not gone into my interest account and can be withdrawn. but that's what's really cool about it. also, i think that's something that's cool about says was they promote different businesses. so here's historically black right there. other brands- you can just type into the search bar. if i click onto um, my icon right there, it will drop me onto the site. so i think that that that is really cool. um, let me switch back real quick. so the reason why it is a must is because the consumer always wants to purchase y'all. we know that. us, as normal people, we want to purchase stuff all the time. but we may have upcoming bills or whatever life is presenting us, but we still want that item. and then this is the reason why sezzle allows stores bottom line to increase. especially during the pandemic, when people are holding on to their money. i believe sezzle um is almost a requirement. now i'm looking at a lot of the other big brands. they all have these third-party payment pro processors that are allowing the customer to purchase over six weeks but still giving giving the seller the money. so add it to your site, guys. it's super simple. you can have it on your site within like 48 hours. you can have it on your site instantly if you know how to do the coding. whatever you need to do, i'll put a referral link in the description. please use my referral. it'll definitely help me out. remember to like. smash the like button, subscribe to my channel where i'll be telling you guys everything that i know about shopify. uh, i have over seven years of experience generating seven figure businesses multiple times, so i'll show you guys more and more as i drop more videos. i appreciate y'all. thank you for your time. i'll at y'all in the next video, see you.

How to Add Sezzle to Shopify
hello everyone, welcome to another video. in this video I will show you how to add Sizzle to Shopify and how to authorize Sizzle to Shopify. so, first of all, what you can do here is you can go here to search type in Sizzle and then go here and search for Sizzle in the Shopify App Store. now here, once you're in the App Store, you will have here Cecil widget, as you can see right here. you can click on it. here you can add the app and right now, since I'm not going to use Sizzle, I'm going to show you how to add it right here. on the sizzle support page, as you can see, once you click install right. once you add app, once you install it, once you verify it, you will need to enter your production Sizzle public and private API Keys, as you can see here. enter your public and private API keys to verifier Sizzle merchant account. here you can click on find your API keys- if you don't know the API keys- and then obviously, put them in update settings, right to verify your Sizzle account. and you will be redirected to the payment settings page where you will need to activate, says, all payments for your store. now, here you will need to click activate, right, Sizzle payments. you can obviously manage account status if you want to change something, and then click activate Sizzle payments. now you will have Sizzle available as a payment method for your store. as you can see, this is how it will look like and obviously, step two is to add some widgets. if you want, um, you know, once that is completed, you can download the free Shopify app plugin to add widgets to your- uh, you know- product page to let Shoppers know your offer Sizzle as a payment option. to do this, you can select the option under download Shopify app plugin in the setup checklist and then, once the app is installed, you enter your public API key within Sizzle app, which can be found again right here, and link your Sizzle account. once your account is leaked, you click add widgets to your ad widgets, product pages and you, you know, this process can take about minute or two, and then, after that process is complete, you navigate to a product page to confirm that Sizzle widgets have been added. um, this is how it will look like right here, as you can see, and if the widgets were not able to be added, uh, then a member of our team will be notified and will add widgets for you, which you know may take two to four days, um. so Cecil team member will do that for you. so that's basically the whole process. it's very simple. I wanted to show you this way because it's much easier than just going through the process. but I hope this video helps and, if you like this video, leave a like down below, subscribe to our Channel and we will see you in the next video. thank you, guys, for watching.

tok about all things handmade. if this is your first time on my channel or you've been visiting and haven't subscribed yet, hit that subscribe and like button so you never miss another video on handmade or crochet business. if you've been thinking about starting your own website or migrating off of any other platforms, like marketplace platforms like etsy, um, amazon, fare, you might be looking for more control over your website so that you'd be able to incorporate more marketing tikniques and things that will drive more traffic and sales to your business. today, i'm going to show you how to log in and create an account, choose a free theme, assign a custom domain, set of your first product and where to go to set up your shipping, your payments, and then even integrate with facebook so that you can sell directly on facebook and instagram. this means that you can also market and drive traffic to your website directly through those social media platforms. before i jump in, i've provided a shopify link for you below. you can use that link. it is an affiliated link. it doesn't affect the price to you, but it does help me if you decide to stay. but before then you could try it for free. once you've signed up for the free trial, then you'll go to this area and enter the email address that you want associated with your shopify account. then you'll click start free trial and choose your password. you can create your own- and then you'll also choose your store name and then click create your store from there. it'll ask you some questions like: what are you already selling, what's the current value of your revenue and what industry your b you'll be operating in, put the range that you want and then afterwards you'll click next. then you'll fill out all of this information so that you can get paid once your business uh website is up and running, and once that is all filled out, you'll click enter my store. after signup, it'll take you to the home page where you can either add a product, customize your theme or add a domain right off the bat. we're going to customize our theme. the original layout that they give you right off the bat is called debu and you can easily adjust it and to create whatever you would like. so immediately after you enter you'll see there's image, text with overlay, image with text, text with tag lines with images, and on the left side you'll see there's a menu of header and they all correspond to those same sections. so you can add or delete all of any or all of these sections and just keep the ones that you like. some of you were asking how to add a domain. you add a domain, then it'll take you to add domain. now i've already got mine here, so i'm going to. you can either click connect an existing domain or transfer domain. i connected existing domain because i already bought one and then you would type your domain in here, click next and then follow the instructions for whoever your provider is. i know a lot of you use godaddy, i use netfirm, so i have to use a little bit of a different procedure, but most of the big domains are right here and they show exactly how to set the c name and your domain site right onto your shopify account. if you want to remove any of these sections, you just click on this section over here and you can move it around the layout. or you, if you want, you can click on it down and you can actually remove a section right here. so if you didn't want this image, text with overlay, this huge thing here, you could remove it, or you couldn't remove any of these sections. so let's say we want to remove this whole featured collection, so we'd click on it. it would take us to that section. we go down here and then we would remove the section and then now it's no longer there. now we only have to have image with text and image with overlay. if you wanted to add it back here, your collection, select there we go and you can adjust how many arctik like items you hope you want people to be able to see on one line. maybe you only want it to be one line, but it'll show three items. there we go. we have a super simple starting shopify page where we'll have a text with overlay. we'll have a featured collection of like just three, three things in the collection. we can have our testimonials if you don't have testimonials yet, that's no problem. again, we could remove that section. but if you want to add it back, just remember you click add section and you can look for testimonials and add them back. okay, got to save. you save right here. now we're going to head back out, going to go to the home page and we're going to add a product. so let's do that together. adding a product is like super duper easy. so say, for example, um. so basically it's, you'll have the title, you'll have your description. you're going to want to know your niche, you're going to want to write out your description ahead of time and have it somewhere where that you can copy and paste, and then we're gonna add our media file. then we'll put a price. our price goes here. if you're having a sale, you can put your um regular price here and the lower price here, and then when the posting shows, it'll actually show that there's a sale going on and we like compare at 70. then you would put the sale price at here of 70 and then you would compare your price to 80 and in the posting of the product description it'll show that it's on sale. okay, so cost per item: you can put this as your cost of goods sold. so if it only costs you 30 or 15 to make, you could put that there. it asks you if you want to charge tax on this item. i would charge tax so you don't want to absorb that cost. you can set the tax items in the settings area, your inventory. you can have a sku numbers, an individual unique number for each artikle of things that you buy you can have. you can pre-set that up and you can put how many you have available. so if you're hand making it, you can just put the estimated number, how many products you actually have made. you'll indicate it's a physical product. it's good to weigh it because this weight amount actually affects the shipping amount. shipping again is set up in settings. i'll briefly go through that with you. most of uh the items i ship are about 0.2 kilograms or 0.25 country or region. you choose your own region or country, okay, and then it'll ask you for, like your local area, harmonize sales. it's uh for anything crochet or knit. it's usually like in the six thousands. i don't know it off hand. it does help you by giving you the harmonized sales at six, five, yeah, six, five, oh, five. so you, we could choose that and that's helpful for when you're doing um, uh, international shipping, because when it crosses your border they're gonna need the harmonized number and shopify will automatikally create the commercial invoice- it's called a commercial invoice- when it has to cross the border and it does need the harmonize system uh code. so it's always helpful to have and this product has multiple options like different. if you click this then it'll bring you to setting variants. i'm going to recommend that if you don't have a ton of products, then show each item like create a posting for each individual item and it won't take you very long because once the the the product post is made, you can just duplicate it. so if one style of hat you have a gray and a red one, then you can just duplicate the gray one, bring in a new image and then um and then and then change what color it is. if you do very you probably want to get into variants when you have a lot of different colors for a lot.
Shopify Payments Setup | Super SIMPLE Tutorial (Step by Step)
hey guys, this is Jake Alexander with casual e-commerce, and in this video, I'm going to be showing you how you can set up your Shopify payments account so that way you can start receiving payouts when you begin making sales with your Shopify store. so, in order to get started, you just need to log in to the dashboard of your store and then we're gonna come down here to settings and then, once where its settings, we're gonna go to payment providers, and this is where we can go ahead and choose which payment providers we want to go ahead and use, and you can see that there's a lot of options here. now, really quickly, before we do this, I do want to scroll down and just confirm that your payment authorization is set to automatik. this makes things a lot easier and it also saves you the hassle if somebody, for example, purchases an order and you know you fulfill it accidentally before you actually get the payment and then you never just get the payment. so it's a lot easier to just keep this at automatik. so, when it comes to setting up your payment providers, there's really only two that you're gonna be using. one is Shopify payments into his paypal, so we're gonna go ahead and get into Shopify payments here. so, if you don't know, Shopify payments is essentially just stripe. it's just Shopify has partnered with stripe and it's kind of a custom setup of stripe. but tripe is a third-party payment provider and they process credit card transactions. so Shopify payments is literally just stripe. so they've just partnered together. so Shopify payments is the easiest one to set up. there are others you can do if you go to change provider. you can select a third-party credit provider here and you can see there's a bunch of different ones here. but I would recommend just stiking with Shopify payments. now I am located in the United States, so if you're outside of the United States, in another country, you might need to use something different. so we're going to go ahead and do now. when it comes to setting up Shopify payments, it's pretty simple. you just need to complete account setup in here and now you just have to enter some sensitive information so you can see. here you type in your business type, so most likely you're an individual or sole proprietor, but if you already have an LLC or if you're in a partnership or if you've registered a corporation, you'd go ahead and do that and then you would enter your EIN number, if you have one and then your business address and then you enter your personal details here and then right here is actually pretty important- in product details. so you just kind of want to tok about what you are selling. so in this sample store here I was selling acne products so I could put in online retailer of skin care products. so you just want to put something like this in here: just a little brief description of what you're selling. that way, stripe knows, because they have to have some sort of vetting process, but you know pretty much I've never seen anyone not get approved before, but I still wouldn't risk, you know, putting something stupid in here. definitely just put a nice clean-looking description of what you're selling and then down here you can go ahead and put in- I wouldn't put like a personal number in like this is a Google Voice number. so you can put in a Google Voice number or your business number if you have a 1-800 number, because this information will be shown on your customers credit card statements. so if it was me, I you know I don't like having my personal number anywhere out there, so I wouldn't want that here. and then the statement descriptor right here. you can see if we change it. you can see this is what's going to show up on our customers credit card history. so if you want to put the name of your store here, or you can put the name of like- if you have the actual company name, you could put like, company, LLC, and then down here- you just go ahead and put your information and then complete account setup and most likely you're going to be approved instantly and you'll be good to go. so once you're approved, you're gonna be all set, and then what you'll be able to do actually, once you're approved, is you can edit here and you'll see that you can actually change which types of credit cards you want to accept. so if you don't want to accept certain credit cards, you can go ahead and edit that here. I'm not really sure why you wouldn't want to accept certain credit cards, to be honest, but that is something you can do. all right. so now that Shopify payments is set up, you're pretty much good to go. so I just wanted to quickly let you know how the process works once it's set up and you start to get your first orders coming in. so let's say, a customer buys your product for $30, so obviously you're not going to receive that entire 30 dollars because Shopify is gonna take a small transaction fee and then stripes going to take their transaction fee and if you open this up here, you can see the payment processing right here. so if you were to make a $30 sale, it would. you would lose 2.4 percent of that plus 30 cents. and whenever you upgrade your Shopify plan to go ahead and get a higher pain Shopify plan, what it does is it lowers this processing fee right here. so what I normally recommend is the only time that you really need to upgrade beyond the basic Shopify plan is when you're making enough sales to where you'll actually just make more money to go ahead and get a lower payment processing rate. so that is the main draw of upgrading your Shopify plan is to get in a actual lower payment processing rate, because eventually you do hit a point where you're losing money by staying on the basic plan because of this percentage right here. and as far as the payment delay, payments aren't going to be transferred to the Associated Bank account immediately- know there's a two to three day delay. so normally you will receive all of the money from the sales that you made a few days ago and if you receive any refunds or get any. if you issue any refunds, rather within the products or orders section, it's going to be withdrawn from the linked bank account. it's not going to be withdrawn from the pending balance. it's gonna come from the bank count and if you get any charge backs, that's also going to come out of your bank account as well. so, with that said, I think I've pretty much covered everything in regards to setting up Shopify payments and how it works. if I miss something, be sure to let me know in the comments and I'll try and answer as quickly as possible. if you liked this video and found it helpful, go ahead and leave it a thumbs up, be sure to subscribe to the channel for more content and I will see you guys in the next video.
How to Set Up Shop Pay Installments: Shop Pay Installments 2022
[Music]. what's up everybody. it's jamie here from shopify masterclass, and today we're going to cover shop pay installments: what they are, how they work and how to set them up in your store, and also how to advertise shop pay installments to your customers. to start, if you don't know what shop pay is, it's an accelerated checkout method for shopify merchants, and it's shown to increase conversions by up to 1.72 times, as it makes the checkout experience easier, as certain information is saved, such as the shipping and the credit card details for customers when they're checking out across different shopify stores using shop pay. shop pay installments is a method of splitting up the payment used through shop pay, so shop pay offers customers the option to pay in full at checkout or to split their purchase into four equal installment payments. something to note is you can't adjust the number of installment payments or the price range available for shop pay installments. before we get into the rest of this video, i just want to quickly thank our sponsor. discover profit calc, the affordable and easy to set up shopify app that crunches your numbers in just one click. it automatikally syncs with all your accounts and expenses to calculate your profit, displaying everything in an easy to read dashboard so you understand your business in real time. start for free on the shopify app store today. one thing to note about shop pay installments is that it's currently in an early access program, so you want to make sure you join the waitlist so you can be first in line to get this feature as soon as it's available. the way this works is that the shop pay installments range from prices of fifty to a thousand dollars. if your product costs that much, you can have the customers split that payment across with zero interest across four different payments. for example, if the purchase was a thousand dollars and you wanted to split that payment up by four, the customer could instead pay 250 in a set range of payments over time rather than paying that one thousand dollars up front. something to note is that the eligibility of this is that you have to be in the us, selling in us dollars and have both shopify payments and shop pay enabled for your shopify store. how do you promote this to your customers, as having the payment split up with zero interest over time has been shown to increase conversion rates. you want to advertise this to the customers on the product page so they don't feel like they have to pay the full amount up front. the example in front of me is the shop pay banner displayed on the page, showing the customer that they can choose shop pay at checkout to pay in full, or they can split their purchase into four equal installments of eighty dollars- zero dollars, no hidden fees for interest in between- and allows the customers to budget this purchase correctly. again, here it's going to show the shopify pay logo and it's going to show it underneath the price, making the purchase seem cheaper to the customer. if you do have access to the early program, you want to log, navigate to this add shop pay installments page and from there you just want to follow this setup here. in the next step, here i'm going to go with you guys step by step and how to install the shop payment banner installment code onto your product pages. now something to note here with my store that you have to be based in the us and selling in us dollars. i am not with this store, so the actual shop pay installments banner will not show up for my store, so i won't be able to show you the final results. being said, i'm going to go with you guys step by step on how to do it by following the shopify instructions. the way you get to the installment instructions is you go to promote shop payment installments on the shop pay installments page and from there you're going to click this link and it's going to show you how to install it step by step. for every theme it's going to be really different in terms of the files you're going to be editing. shopify, if you scroll down here, has listed several of the overall template names. for my store it's product template, but for yours it may be product form: dot liquid- and something to note here is the dot liquid is just the file extension name, such as dot doc or dot xls for excel. so you can just ignore that and really look for the main section. so once you find that file, you also want to take in this code and you're going to install it. now i'm going to go walk with you step by step and how to install in my own theme. something to note is that my own theme is the debate theme on this test store and it's been automatikally installed. but you can go through these steps here to make sure that it is installed correctly for your store. so the way you're gonna edit this code is you're gonna go to your shopify store. you're gonna go to the online store section and then themes. then, once there, you're going to want to edit the code. but something to note is that before you edit the code, you want to ensure that you duplicate the theme. so you go to actions, then you're going to click duplicate and this is going to duplicate the theme so that if you make any changes to the code that results in breaking your websites, you can quickly restore it by going to the duplicate theme and then making this the main theme. so i've duplicated it here. so now i'm comfortable going into my code and editing it, knowing that if i make a mistake i can always go back to the older version. so to edit the code, you want to click on actions. then you want to go to edit code. once you hit edit code, you're going to be brought into this code editor in the shopify theme section. it can be really overwhelming, especially if you don't understand what a lot of this stuff means. i personally don't understand a lot of it, even though i am a programmer. but you just want to kind of dig through this and make sure you focus on what you need to do. so what you need to do is you want to go to the tutorial here and you want to look for these different forms so you can command and copy just the base of it and look for that. i know, specifically for this theme it's product template, so i'm just going to search for it here and there it is on the left: product template, and then the next section. you just want to scroll down a little bit. it's going to show you how to install it. so what you're going to be looking for is this snippet of code here, the dot dots, which means that there is extra writing behind it. but you just really want to focus on this section. so i'm going to copy the form quote- product, extra quote, and i'm going to search for that in the file. i'm going to do that by pressing command f on my computer, giving me the find window. once that's there, i'm just going to paste that in and just like that you can see it. so for my store here and my theme code, specifically on line 161, you can see the code that is listed in the page and it matches that exactly. that's form product, comma product. so the way you ensure that the shop pane installments is installed is: you just want to copy and paste this section here. so it's curly bracket, curly bracket. form payment underscore terms: curly bracket, curly bracket. so i have that copied and you're just going to paste it in here now for the debate theme. it's been automatikally installed. i'm just going to copy and paste it here for reference. you can also ignore everything below here. you just don't want to touch any of that because that is stuff that could break your theme potentially, so you just want to paste it right under this title here, just to be safe. so once that's in there, that's really all the steps. so you have that installed. if you're based in the us and you're selling in us dollars, you should be now be able to go to your page and you should see the shop pay installment banner. if it's not showing, for whatever reason, you might want to go down to the faq section and it's going to give you explanations on what to do, for example, if you don't have that form syn.
